Halara 'Breezeful Pleated Buckle Skirt' - $40.00

I’m wildly hesitant to post this simply because it’s a brand far out of Taylor’s typical wheelhouse (though it does very much appeal to her signature high/low brand pairing sensibilities when it comes to building an outfit) and because imagining Taylor courting a viral clock app fast fashion piece bewilders me. But after a lot of staring, I feel this might be it - with the caveat that this may be updated in time should it be proven otherwise.

But getting to the skirt as a concept alone. In a sense, this is actually sort of genius concert attire for Taylor at this current phase of her style - combining her renewed love of all mini skirts with a little bit of saucy appeal courtesy of the garter-like thigh buckle but in breezy athleisure fabric and with built-in shorts.

Back to liiife, back to real-i-ty 🎶

Back to the run schedule. Took two days off for my left foot and calf; they felt much better today, though still tender and tense, especially after the run. I think I'm going to have to keep it easy for a bit. Just did a short easy neighborhood run this morning. I really don't like running around while all my neighbors leave for work and their kids stand around waiting for the bus lol. Makes me feel silly for some reason 🫠

I got influenced 😭 I had spent weeks looking for decent Lululemon or Nike dupe shorts, and settled on some cute looking pink and white ones from Halara. Their website and advertising looks more professional than it really is, and they're clearly just another fast fashion drop shipping company with elevated prices for aesthetics. The shorts fit well enough and are lightweight and easy to run in, but the material is so cheap and thin that I feel like they're going to rip in the first wash. The small mesh detail at the bottom is unfinished, raw cut; it looks like it's already beginning to fray. And the privacy shorts lining on the inside immediately and fiercely ride up, which is pretty damn uncomfortable lol. I'm going to have to cut them out, which I am not sure how that will fare for the white ones...

I just can't afford $50-$80 running shorts just because they're comfortable and high performing 😭

Felt pretty/cute in my [art ho]veralls with my low spoons makeup on so I gave myself a bit of a workout actually, in the form of an impromptu photoshoot (on the camera + tripod even) 💄🎨 we need an overalls emoji for us neurodivergent/art girlies

MOST of my Kirby OCs in wedding dresses! YES, even Halaro wanted to try one one (Sylvette helped him most likely)

These were way more fun to do than I expected, and I like the variety I got out!

Veronica and Rosie are wearing Ballroom dresses instead- they were designed by @quikyu awhile ago (Rosie belongs to them too) and I finally had the perfect time to try fleshing them out (:

Puffe is also more the kind to wear a suit than a dress to such an occasion.

I MIGHT consider lining and coloring them but we'll see. They'd take a long time.

[Rain Code] - Halara Nightmare

Drew Halara Nightmare from Rain Code, really love this character, as soon as I finished the game I wanted to draw them. I tried a different style, I'm really happy with the background, Halara themselves were harder to colour. Maybe the coin could pop out more but I don't know how else I could have done it while keeping the same style.

I tried adding the date this time for my timelapse, it's not always accurate (forgot to change) but I worked on it everyday.

opposites not only attract each other, they also balance each other out

and that was the case with you and halara as well

on paper, the two of you were too different to work. but you managed to bring out the best in each other because of it!

halara is a rather serious person, never seen laughing and they tend to keep their distance from people if possible

you however always had a smile on your lips and were surrounded by countless people, being a natural at making friends

you were the one approaching halara first and making all the first moves, while halara was rather reluctant at first, but slowly started to take a liking in you

while you had an easy time approaching others and befriending them, you were still rather insecure, even if you were good at hiding it

halara however was aware of their strengths and always displayed them, even seeming a bit cocky with how confident they were! 

halara always encouraged you to own your strengths more and stop selling yourself short! 

speaking of… you always chastised halara for charging so much for their work, while halara always complained you weren't letting yourself being paid for what you are worth

it went so far that halara even managed to get you a raise, which was when you slowly gave up on trying to change their behavior

but one thing you'd never stop chastising halara for was their habit to gamble! 

you really weren't a fan of and now matter how much this was part of their identity, you were very clearly against it! 

halara even stops gambling when you were around, even stopping to bet about things with their co-workers

though sometimes they'd still fall back into old habits…

Master Detective Archives: RainCode; THE FINALE

SPOILERS AHOY! IF YOU HAVE NOT FINISHED THIS GAME PROCEED WITH CAUTION.

Alright, with the obligatory warning out of the way, LETS CRACK INTO THIS. First of all, I was definitely not ready for the twists this game was boutta knock me upside the head with, like, at all. Starting with the simple fact of how they turned something the fandom MILKED for all it's worth in jokes into a key plot point was just... well fucking played. Also known as the pink blood. Trying to wrap my head around 'Homunculi' was a trip and a half. Once I DID have my head wrapped around the concept though, things made way more sense . Makoto being a Homunculi I saw coming after the investiagtion in the labratory in the restricted area. Specifically that he was the first successful one that disappeared. I was confused, but not that confused. What did get me good was Yuma Kokohead...not...being...Yuma Kokohead...but rather number one. Oh dear. Cause I had originally suspected that the number one we saw on the screen in the office was the big bad or smth, I just knew there was something kinda off about him. I was barking up the wrong tree clearly. When I got to the part where the game finally revealed that homunculi have pink blood I had a realization and was very happy that this information was the confirmation I needed to know, MY CHILDREN WEREN'T DEAD. (Aka the other detectives for those who may not have seen my previous blab.) Then there was Makoto...hoo boy. Don't get me wrong, I like Makoto as a character, but I was a MIXED ass bag of emotions with him. Between first cussing him out wondering where the hell the others were, then changing to applauding him for his cleverness in using us to get rid of Yomi, then finally to; "Oh shit, I don't actually want to kill you anymore... uhhh-" Then the emergency exit coming out and Shinigami finally telling us what the price is for using it and... Oh dear I nearly started crying (and usually when it comes to emotional moments in fiction I am a stone wall.) We've been through so much shit with Shinigami, it HURT to have to go our separate ways from her, it just hurt! Finally I just wanted to touch on that EPILOUGE. I was SO happy to see all the other detectives (Sans Yakou, RIP.) at the office and getting ready to head out. Nearly had a panic when I couldn't locate Vivia, only for him to be hiding in a suitcase hoping someone would carry him. Kurumi going out to search for Number one and travel is kinda cute, I was also EXTREMELY relieved that the ramen shop owner was able to develop a ramen with all of the nutrients Homunculi need so they didn't have to eat the meatbuns anymore. Thank goodness TvT. ALRIGHTY. I DID mention I would list my favourite characters so HERE WE GO. (Keep in mind this is just MY opinion. I'll just do a top 5 list for the sake of length) 1. Vivia Twilight (Yakou WAS my favourite character at first, but then I got to know Vivia's character a bit better I couldn't help but love his lazy ass. Not to mention I found his forte SO cool!) 2. Yakou (I Miss My Wife Tails) Furio. (Ah yes, my favourite Hobo detective as I like to call him. I call him that because when he wears that big coat he kinda looks like a Hobo. Anyways, watching him try to be the voice of reason for the other detectives is just too entertaining to not like him.) 3. Fubuki Clockford. (She's so sweet, yet so forgetful. Tbh I find it cute. She's another one of the detectives whose forte I find really interesting. I will admit though, my first impression of her was; "Dumb, dumb as hell." but she's so cute. I just love her.) 4. Halara Nightmare (They're SO badass! Watching them kick around the Peacekeepers like it's nothing is always a good time! Also, we appreciate an Animal lover here, yes we DO! I love Halara's forte and using it during the Nail Man investigations was quite interesting. 5. Shinigami (Our adorable, lenient, troublesome, and mean companion! God I don't know how anyone can't like her? She's so amusing and has literally NO filter! Only reason she's lower on the list is because MY emotional attachment was more towards the other detectives.)

Whew! Okay I think I've rambled on this long enough, so this shall be the end of this ramble! Have a good day/night everyone!
