In which Nico and Hitoshi are fanboys.

((Monday morning, I had 1200 words written for this chapter. I wrote about 800 during the livestream. I’m finishing it, <36 hours after that 1200 word mark, at close to 4500 words. This is all thanks to the livestream, guys. So, if you want updates, y'all know what to do now. 😉))

“Are you sure?”

Hajime felt the need to ask. Seitarou was untouchably precious to him, like a piece of colored glass. The last thing he wanted was to shatter something so fragile in its beauty.

“Yes, I’m sure.” Seitarou smiled graciously at him. “I trust you, Hajime, and I love you. I think I’m ready.”

“If you need me to slow down–”

“I’ll tell you.” Seitarou smiled and rubbed his nose against Hajime’s.

Hajime studied his face for a few moments, trying to discern that for himself. Those sparkling eyes and flushed cheeks didn’t tell him anything he didn’t already know. Maybe it was Hajime’s turn to take a small leap of faith and trust that Seitarou understood himself to know that he was ready.

Nanbaka Week, Day 6: Headcanons/Theories

1. Seitarou and Momoko are cousins. 2. Hitoshi's long hair is a wig, and he's either bald (it runs in the family) or has short blond hair underneath it. 3. Hitoshi watches animes like "Love Live!" and "Sailor Moon" and likes to cosplay as those girls. 4. Hajime is former military. He was in special forces operating overseas, accepted an honorable discharge due to technicalities. Civilian life was too peaceful for him and he couldn't settle down, so he got himself a job as a prison guard, since it seemed to promise as much risk and require as much skill as his former occupation, while also allowing him to do good and act on his strong sense of justice. 5. Honey and Trois say that they only go after women, but that doesn't stop them from being gay for each other.

I want to see fanart of an AU where Momome (Hajiko?) had Seitarou as their baby and are in a perpetual state of, "How tf is this smol babe ours??" Just smol child Seitarou walkin' around, doing his thing, being super fluffy, cuddling with Kuu. :3
