Hairmazing fashion pack try on. I chose this particular pack because you get three separate pieces and the material looked like it had some give or a little stretch.
First up is Venus.
It is definitely too big but you can make it work if you want. The jacket is probably the piece that fit her best.
Here it is on a rainbow high doll.
The skirt is a pretty good fit. The shirt is too big but since it ties around the neck you can adjust it for a better fit.
Here's the jacket. Sleeves are a little long.
Really cute on a curvy barbie. The skirt sits a little high waisted. Could not get the jacket on her.
On a classic mtm barbie. The top and skirt fit fine. The jacket is too tight.
The shoes fit on both the classic and curvy barbie.
They're big but look like some lady gaga style platforms. I kind of like them.
The shoes would not go on Venus or Sunny at all.
Overall, I think it's a cute pack for 3.97.

I painted some of the details on catty's accessories silver, it looks much better that way. The dress comes from a Hairmazing fashion pack. I dont plan on doing too much since she's already pretty perfect except maybe giving her a better outfit.

I picked up a couple fashion packs! The hairmazing one was under $4 so quality is what you'd expect, but it's not bad.
Also I'm happy that I have a more casual outfit for Sunny now. The sweater and accessories are pretty cute.

I have been both busy and in a slump lately, but wanted to make a post on some of the new fashion packs I’ve been finding in stores. So, here’s a compromise: I just take pictures at my beat up art desk, only turn on the easy to get to light, and just use dolls that are within arms reach.
Here are the Naturalistas/Latinistas clothing fashion packs. I thought they were all pretty nice (the pink one’s fabric is kinda thin and see-through though). The yellow one ended up being my favorite and that’s what this Naturalista’s going to be wearing back on the shelf.
I knew that she couldn’t fit the LUV packs, but the purple dress is so loose in the top I thought she miiiiiight be able to fit in it. It was pretty short on her and didn’t close all the way in the back.
The shoes were also a bit too small on the Naturalista.
But they fit a Pinkie Cooper doll pretty well (the two black pairs of shoes were a smidge bigger though). They also fit a regular Barbie well too (the black strappy sandals and black heeled shoes might fit a curvy or tall Barbie’s foot better).
LUV fits both G1, G2 (pictured here because I didn’t want to redress any G1’s around me and my cat decided that the table was now hers). The sleeves are a bit short on the jacket, but not bad. I really would love to see if I can put this outfit on the new G3 Catty as the material has some stretch to it.
I LOVED this outfit on this G3 Clawdeen. After I recurl her hair and give her an Afro puff, she’s going back in this.
The outfits are also a pretty good fit for Pinkie Coopers (the top is a bit loose due to their lack of boobies).
Then I spotted four Hairmazing fashion packs and picked those up (they were much cheaper than the LUV packs). This one is a bit short on Barbie, and the headband didn’t really work. It’s a better length for Clawdeen, but loose in the top.
Sleeves were short on the jacket on my Barbie, but could work for 3/4 long jacket. The top was a bit tight, and the skirt was a bit loose. Jacket was a better fit on Clawdeen, the top was horribly loose, and the skirt was on the loose side too.
This one WOULD NOT close in the back for Barbie, but was a bit of a better fit for Clawdeen (also, the top can be seem ripped to separate it from the overalls pretty easily).
I liked the shiny fabric on this one. The skirt mostly fit Barbie (it was a bit higher in the back though), but the top was a no go).
Clawdeen could get away with it, but the top was loose.
I grabbed several curvier G3’s to see if it was a better fit on them. The skirt would not fit up Abbey’s legs, but the top was a perfect fit! The skirt actually fit super well on Draculaura, but the top was a smidgen too big.
The sunglasses fit Monster High well.
The headbands were not really a winner on either Barbie (too big and bulky), or Monster High (to small).
The shoes were a PERFECT fit on G1/G2 Monster High (so probably Ever After High too).
My Bad Batch boys were jealous they didn’t get to try on anything and just stood on the nearby shelf…so here you go! They felt very pretty afterwards.
If I had a Crosshair and an Omega they would have also joined in.

Mart of Wal scroll - dolls I found
I like to scroll through Crapazon and the Mart of Wal because I love shopping I will sometimes find dolls lines I haven't seen before. It's also nice to spot the occasional deal.
VIP Dolls VIP Hair Makeover dolls, $18. 11.8 inches tall. Articulated at shoulders, elbows, and wrists, and I'm guessing the hips, but no knees, judging by the pictures. The "makeover" consists of stickers and a few plastic hair barrettes, but she's cute, and the price isn't terrible considering she comes with long hair, a full outfit, and earrings.
Magic flyers - oh, these take me back. I remember when they first came out, and little dolls would randomly shoot into the air. Kids got injured, which is why they got pulled. It was a different time.
First up: Hatchimals edition. "Hatchimals Crystal Flyers Rainbow Glitter Idol Flying Toy with Lights," $32 (on sale), but if it really does light up, I'm guessing you're paying for the electronics?
Oh, yeah - she's rechargeable. There's the cost right there.
MGA Entertainment's version: LOL Surprise Magic Flyers. $24, and the launcher uses batteries (didn't the original ones have some sort of wind-up mechanism? I think so). Oh, the description says the batteries are rechargeable, and they also come with a USB cable to recharge them. Well, look at MGAE being a little sustainable. That's a nice addition.
Apparently, you just sort of smack the front of the box to launch the doll, which I find vaguely hilarious.
Hairmazing Fantasy Fashion Pack (7-pack of dolls), currently $25. Another doll line I have a soft spot for. They have cute faces (some with impish smirks) and are very affordable. Some have more articulation, but these are only 5 points (head, shoulders, knees). The outfits are decent quality, and they are 11.75 inches tall, but thin. Probably not a good outfit swap for Barbie, but probably for the thinner Monster High bodies. Singular 5-point-articulation Hairmazing dolls tend to run about $4-$5, which for the length of hair and decent quality outfit, I consider a bargain.

dolls/doll stuff I'm interested in rn:
sweet circuits capsule chix (posable, tiny, customizable, very clownish)
hairmazing dee dee (posable, cute outfit and face mold, have had my eye on her a while)
specific used doll for customizing (specific skin tone/hair combo that would be perfect for a certain character)
creatable world fashion pack (would fit a favorite doll of mine perfectly)
#considering the budget I'm currently holding myself to I could probably get... half of these#I'm just so indecisive!!! what am I to do!#dolls

A wild "curvy" clone doll appears!
Curvy Barbie has a clone!
This is important, as it means that Curvy Barbie is very likely part of the cultural zeitgeist at this moment and a specific thing that buyers want. That's a triumph for inclusivity.
So after saying I could find a Barbie within 20 minutes' drive, I wanted to go to that. I also wanted to go to the Walmart at the far end of the next town because it supposedly had the hair dye color I was looking for (spoiler: that was the one color they were out of).
I started the car in my driveway at 10 minutes to 2 pm (13:50). Driving by my normal route, with no effort at haste, and encountering a parking lot like one of those "move the blocks" games, and having to figure out where the toy section was because I don't go to this Walmart, I was standing in front of a display of Barbies at 11 minutes after 2 (14:11). That's 21 minutes, and I passed other likely retailers (even the godawful Rite Aid closer to home had three Barbies, three Chelseas, and three packs of Barbie tennis dresses).
While browsing the Barbie-adjacent rack where Sparkle Girlz used to live, I first picked up this gal, thinking "wow, those pants make her proportions look different."
I was delighted to discover that her proportions are different. I was also trying to figure out what's up with the brand, as this isn't the maker I recall for Sparkle Girlz, and it's not the later Zuru brand that some people refer to with SG. (The Zuru link is a Mini -- I still have quite a few original Minis, though their hair is less exciting.)
To complicate matters, two distinct makers produce fashion dolls marketed as Hairmazing. (And Walmart helpfully had dolls from both thrown in the same bin.)
One Hairmazing comes from Xtreme Play of Minneapolis, which has it all for your clone needs. Princesses, mermaids, fairies, multiple styles of minis, collections of gals who are sophomores at Reinbeaux High, quasi-realistic horses, and unicorns from Ekwestria... they've hit every fantasy trend.
The other Hairmazing comes from Just Play of Boca Raton. This is the Hairmazing of the swimsuit dolls. They provide a product-line photo that gives me hope, as I'd thought about buying our curvy clone just because a curvy clone is cool, but I dislike the plastic quality, the hair quality, and the face-up.
There is a Black curvy version! She has natural hair with purple highlights!
This Hairmazing also has its own different lines of Reinbeaux High students, Ekwestria unicorns, princesses, minis, and so on.
But Walmart no longer has the Black curvy gal on their web site. Oy.
A look at the secondary market suggests this line has been around a couple years (there's a solid 5 years when I didn't look at fashion dolls at all). The pics on eBay show an ambiguously brown curvy gal with maroon hair and a Black curvy gal with pink hair and a great face-up... but oh maaaan, the plastic quality, face printing, and hair quality looks bad. I'm going to hold off and see what hits the thrift stores, now that I know what to look for.
Should you feel two Hairmazing brands aren't enough, I did find a third, Hairmazing by Hairdorables, which look like what'd happen if Bratz went to Reinbeaux High.

I would recommend trying the Hairmazing/Hairdorables fashion packs - available on Amazon and at the Mart of Wal (Walmart).
From You Love It:
They fit Barbie pretty well on the bottom but are a little too small on top - I think they would fit the Descendants body pretty well.
Does anyone know what clothes fit Descendants doll bodies?
I'm buying a doll who's been rebodied on a Descendants body and wanna get some clothes for her but most of the fashion from that line is really ugly to me lmao 😭

This is what I got at Walmart.
I am happy to have the RH fashion pack I wanted without having to hope I'd get it randomly ordering online.
I also want to check out this hairmazing fashion pack and see which dolls it will fit.
They also had the luv dolls and fashion packs. I might check out the fashion packs if they go on sale.

For my US readers: Hairmazing have a budget line at Walmart and you might have heard about the $30 7 packs with fantasy hair (with some available as $5 dolls). But they’ve also released $5 fashion and swim lines that are super cute and may provide a nice custom/body source for less than a fashionista. The shoes fit monster high wave1.

I was at Walmart Monday and saw Barbie, Disney ILU, LUV, Rainbow High, Fashionitas/Latinistas, and Hairmazing fashion packs. They're out there, but distribution isn't great.
I hate that disney iiy 4ever and barbie are the only playline fashion dolls making fashion packs anymore (and both are similarly sized). I know people have said it's because it's more profitable for companies to just make a new doll instead and to just buy dolls with cute outfits when they're on sale, but that feels so freakin wasteful!!! I don't have younger family members or neighbors, I don't do repaints or modding, and I don't have any thrift stores or charity shops anywhere close by, so what am I supposed to do with a naked doll that I don't like???
I hope that always bratz and monster high g3 will bring back fashion packs, but so far the most we've gotten from mh has been the extra outfits in the skulltimate secrets sets...

From left, to right: Top Just Play Harmazing Hairdorables Fashion Pack; Mattel Barbie Extra #1; Hairdorables Hairmazing Prom Set 2pk, Amazon Exclusive Neila & Logan; Front FuRyu Sesshomaru Noodle Stopper Figure. Second image FFXIII Elixir Trading Arts Mini Hope Estheim Figure. Third Image Pop Mart Hirono The Other One Trading Figure.
More toy hoarding haul items from earlier in the month. I got most of these toys on clearance, except for the FuRyu Sesshomaru Noodle Stopper figure in the front. I paid way more than Japanese retail price for it from Amzn, only to receive it in a bag. Of course, the box arrived crushed and ripped opened and torn on most corners -- in case it is not evident in the photo. I wanted to unbox one, so I had to get this one because I haven’t been lucky to find one on Japanese retailers after I got my pre-ordered one, quite a while back. BiJ never replied to me when they had in-stock ones, and they didn’t allow multiple orders of it, so I had to swallow the higher second-market price. However, I am irritated that people at Amzn think it’s okay to ship Japanese collectible figures, that cost as much as this one, in a freaking plastic bag. DX Good thing I already own one in pristine condition, otherwise as an obsessive MISB collector, I would be crying tears of blood right now.
I got the Barbie Extra from my nearest Walmart for $12.52 as can be seen on the clearance sticker on the box. I want all of them (kind of), but I can’t justify their retail price tag. I was surprised she was on clearance, since I’ve been looking for most of wave 1, and never find any for other than full-retail. I want some from wave 2 as well, but I feel like I can do with just one from that release. The Amzn exclusive set I also got on clearance from them, so I got two to unbox one, and the fashion pack, because I love hoarding fashion packs as well -- I don’t use/unbox those either (I am a huge weirdo!).
I also got a grail figure; the Square Enix Final Fantasy XIII Elixir Trading Arts Mini Hope Estheim figure. I got Snow Villiers a few years ago, but lost hope (no pun intended!) of ever finding Hope for a good/semi-decent price. Luckily, I was able to get him recently for a price I find "decent" for my wallet -- plus, and more importantly, in the condition I was willing to pay for him. I was able to justify paying for him, and he was sealed in bag at least. I am super thrilled! I never got these because they came with a drink and Japanese laws are so that brands don't have to list all ingredients and/or their sources if they are found in “negligible” amounts. Super late, but super happy with him anyway, I hope I can get the Trading Arts figures as well someday, for not-an-eye-off-the-face. I thought I would get Snow and Hope “later” when the box set came out in Japan a million years ago, then I forgot the search for them when the finally released, and now they are either too expensive to be justifiable for me, or not sealed in their respective plastic baggies. T__T;;
Lastly, I got another Pop Mart figure; I really wanted to get the Hirono dressed as a crow fig, but I got the one he’s dressed as a monkey! Which was the one I didn’t want to get, out of all twelve(?). I’ve never been lucky with trading figures, Lol! I don’t think I’ll try again. I could attempt purchasing one that has been opened, but most people open the bags as well, when you really just need to open the freaking box. There’s a collectors’ card that tells you which figure is inside the bag, without actually removing the figure from the sealed bag, or opening it further for any reason. That’s why I was willing to get Sasuke that way, because the seller just opened the box to take a photo of the card but left the Sasuke figure sealed mint/untouched inside the bag...these are kind of expensive though, so I don’t think I’ll try my luck again, unless I find one crow sealed in its bag. >_>;;

The hairmazing dolls are so cute! I love that they have fashion packs now too.
Got a cute hairmazing doll, and I'm giving him purple hair! Also, between my brother and the Cutie Collector discord, I've decided to name him Austin Jamie "A.J." Jackson.
