BatFam Headcanon!

Dick helps Tim clear out some of his parents stuff after ya know...👀 And he finds an old printed out picture. It's of Tim and him that fateful night at Haly's Circus. Tim couldn't have been older than three or four. Dick remembers a lot of the times when they took photos with the families that watched the show. He just smiles sadly at the worn photo of two smiling kids. He takes the picture and frames it and leaves it in Tim and Benard's apartment (#loveboat).

Tim finds it and he almost doesn't know what to do with the emotion that wells up. He keeps it by his desk. Cause it's important it's the first picture he ever took with his big brother.

I had been working on a type of supernatural au where Bones is a gritty PI (who smokes, curses drinks etc.) and is trying to figure who and what he is all the while trying to help Jim figure who is trying to kill him and help Spock find his missing mom. 😅 Well that's the gist anyway.

Alright ya’ll, hear me out (and send me your thoughts and silly ideas):

I want to go on an adventure and experience everything good this world can offer but there is no one to walk beside me.

I want to cruise down an open road, music blaring, sun blinding me as I belt out lyrics off-key. But there is no one sitting beside me.

I want to explore old things, new things, odd things, and cool things. But I have to do so alone.

For now.

Sisters, brothers, friends, lovers-

We all walk and build separate paths. It's not easy because we all feel this way all the time. We feel alone on our journies and we can only hope our misshapen rocky roads lead somewhere and that they cross with others harmoniously.

We can only hope.

So until I see another path, another explorer I will go alone. Lonely, yes. But there is still hope in my heart and fire in my soul -embers it really feels - and I will keep going. For the previous crossings behind me and for the ones ahead.

Because only the universe and fate knows. Those paths, those good paths that you thought you had left behind...

They might be beside you after all. Through the trees and the fog just waiting for you to cross again.

So walk.

Sing.

Explore.

Cause the only person that can build the road you are on is you.

So when your path crosses with mine...

We can smile and build the crossroads together. No bumps, cracks, or potholes.

When it's all said and done keep that warmth and pave on. I know I'll see you again, whether it's through the trees, whispers on the wind, or further down the road.

The journey is far from over.

I really dunno what this is. Or if it makes any sense. 😅 but anyway there was some free writing for y'all.

@bbydonghyunie @bitchynightmarepost are the QUEENS OF COMEDY. We have a gc & the only thing we do is diss each other or fight for Hailey's attention. G comes up with great comebacks & we use Hailey's texts for memes bc she's a whole ass mood.

@taespetals @la-vie-en-tae Cara sucks at censoring & she won't accept it, her typos good lord, she always makes typos & I love to bully her when she does siver dad totspy. I think Bambi is the sanest person I've came across but when I send her a pic of Tae or her other biases she just goes off, her thirst texts are always comical

I am no longer allowed in one certain corn maze (Though they might not recognize me now cause this was ten years ago now. Good lord.) cause it was one of the haunted ones where people jump out and scare you.

Story time:

I was in high school and some friends and I decided it would be a grand ol' time to go to a haunted corn maze for Halloween. It was dark we had our flashlights and were giggling at the cheesy decorations and such. Apparently, it was a bad idea for me to be in front of the group. Someone jumped out dressed to the nines in a freaky costume (Really well done might I add) and I uh punched him. I punched the volunteer worker. Right in the nads.

I still feel bad.

My friends still laugh to this day.

I'm sorry freaky scarecrow man.

Good times. Visit a corn maze, and punch a scarecrow in the balls. 🤙

A right of passage apparently.

Random Star Trek Headcanon:

Bones keeps everything his friends give him. He keeps up the cranky cantankerous image, sure. But you can see the little gifts littered throughout his office.

Sulu gave Bones a plant. He takes care of it, talks to it, and sure as hell makes sure to keep it alive.

Chekov gave Bones a Russian nesting doll. He keeps it on a shelf with his books and old medical texts. A pop of color against old brown leather.

Scotty gave Bones a bottle of whiskey. A very old bottle. Bones keeps it in his desk drawer for the really good days, or the really really bad.

Uhura gave Bones a couple of coffee mugs that he uses often. One she found at a farmers market in San Francisco. Crafted tin with bull horns etched on it with the words "Do no harm, But take no Bull". Another is clay, crafted in her hometown in Kenya. Adorn with colors and patterns. He loves them.

Spock gave Bones a piece of Vulcan. An ancient statue that depicts a healer and guardian of the innocent. It's a part of Vulcan's history before Surak. Well, the good parts before Surak anyway. Bones keeps it on a shelf behind his desk with a few pictures of his family, and friends.

Jim gave Bones something very important. Nothing material. Kirk gave Doctor McCoy to boldly go and save, inspire, nurture, and care for not only the crew of Enterprise but so many others across the universe. These accomplishments hang on his wall. Awards, combinations, and the smiling happy faces of everyone he had helped. And the smiling faces of the people around him, his friends, his family.

So despite his fear of space and flying through the unknown he is eternally grateful and would follow Jim Kirk to hell and back. He would follow any of them.

So he keeps everything he is given no matter how silly or insignificant.

When the Enterprise went down on Altamid he was heartbroken for all the people they had lost. When everything settled and crew members were patched up, healthy, or mourned he went back to Altamid with the recovery crew. He officially closed the cases of the missing and dug out everything of sentimental value himself.

I think Dick and Bruce need to be forced into a situation where they both need to rely on each other to survive and do some hard core talking tough love therapy. No one is running away from this conversation. Like damn.

They need to go through the stages of healing.

Maybe if they heal a bit they can help the others as well. I mean don't stitch someone else up while you're bleeding out too. Won't help anyone.

After the more idiotic injuries (mostly Kirk and Spock) Bones will just find a supply closet and scream into the void. At first, it gave everyone collective heart attacks but after a while, the crew start to grow concerned if they haven't heard southern screaming in a while.

A quiet Bones is a dangerous Bones.

Okay, so you all know how Bones is afraid to fly? Well, what if he's a crazy (but very good -) driver? Solid ground and he's in control? Car, motorcycle, skateboard, horse, whatever! And Jim is holding onto the "Oh Shit!" handle and screaming? 🤔
