okay I'm p sure i made a post ab this on my other account, but that thing is completely lost and likely unfindable forever, so imma make another. I once read a fic that was Iwaoi, omegaverse, but also not, unplanned pregnancy, medical malpractice, roommates to lovers, familial issues, found family, familial bonding, and smut. It was on Ao3, and basically Iwaoi were running low on money bc Oikawa burnt their last apartment, I think? So they signed up for this experimental pill that (I think they weren't told?) was gonna turn them into an alpha and an omega. So, they end up going into this completely unprepared. A bunch of stuff happens, Oikawa gets pregnant, they decide to keep the kid, and eventually Oikawa's parents disown him and Iwaizumi's family takes him in. Oikawa gives birth to twins (boys, if I remember correctly, though I could be mistaken) and it ends on a generally happy note. I read it ages and ages ago, idek if it still exists, but I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. Ik I read it on Ao3, but idk if it was multi-chapter or not

Kiyoomi had just finished tidying up the kitchen after a late brunch when he finds Atsumu napping on the swivel chair in the nursery, the twins tucked nicely in their beds, milk drunk and cooing soft babbles intelligible only to the two of them.

He pauses for a moment to adore his pups, melting in fondness when he notices their knobby fingers touching between the pillowed lattice separating their cribs.

Like clockwork, his gaze shifts to Atsumu on the plush chair and he can’t help falling to his knees before the omega. His omega. His sweet, darling omega basking under the afternoon sun with one arm held up over his head and both feet propped on the ottoman, lips slightly parted with a string of drool on the corner of his mouth.

Kiyoomi lets out a low chuckle, thinks he paints a pretty picture regardless.

Carefully, he closes the distance between them and settles between the omega’s legs, eyes fixated on the softened lines of Atsumu’s face, dark brown hair tousled in an endearing mess of waves above his shoulders, tiger stripes adorning his chest, his stomach.

Kiyoomi slips a thumb under Atsumu’s silk top and rubs gentle circles along the stretch marks on his tummy, nosing along the faded lines on his thighs where he lingers in reverie.

“Omiiii,” Atsumu whines as he wraps his arms around Kiyoomi’s neck, the scent of peaches and honey piercing the air and stirring Kiyoomi from his trance. “Stop, why are ya so kinky?”

“What, can’t I take a moment to recharge and admire my mate’s body?” Kiyoomi rests his chin on Atsumu’s lap, trying his best to pull a puppy face he knows only Atsumu is effortlessly good at.

Atsumu rolls his eyes playfully and giggles. “I wake up to my alpha sniffing me in a questionable position. Not that I mind… but what if I hit ya, or crush yer head in my sleep?”

“Then I’d tell you you’re threatening your alpha with a good time,” Kiyoomi grunts into his ear as he digs into the meat of his thighs, flipping them over so Atsumu is on top of him.

Atsumu squeaks in surprise, eyes blown wide and cheeks tinged wine red—Kiyoomi knows he can get drunk on this sight with one sip.

“What’re ya-!” Atsumu protests poorly, his pheromones betraying him.

“Mhm, you know I can smell you, right?” Kiyoomi smirks, pressing a tender kiss on Atsumu’s temple. “It’s okay. You always make me horny too.”

“Don’t saying the h-word in front of my babies!” Atsumu whisper-shouts, squishing Kiyoomi’s face between his palms.

Kiyoomi shrugs. He tips his head, closes his eyes, and puckers his lips, coaxing Atsumu for a kiss.

Atsumu sighs in defeat but happily obliges.

The hospital room was flooded with a warm golden light that bathed the small crib where their newborn son slept. Hinata Shōyō, his eyes full of tenderness, gently caressed the baby's cheek. Beside him, Tito, with a smile that reached his eyes, watched him with a mixture of wonder and adoration.

"I never thought I'd be capable of loving someone so much," Hinata murmured, his voice barely a whisper.

Tito looked at him and took his hand. "Me neither, Shōyō. But now that we have him... it all makes sense."

At that moment, the door opened and Natsu, Hinata's younger sister, entered, laden with gifts for the baby. Behind her, Nishinoya appeared, with a camera in his hand, ready to immortalize every moment of this new chapter in their lives.

"Congratulations, guys!" Natsu exclaimed, handing them a soft stuffed animal. —It's so small and perfect.

Nishinoya pointed the camera and captured the scene. —I have to document this! Tito and Shōyō's first day as parents!

As the four friends gathered around the crib, laughter and congratulations filled the room. However, beneath this apparent happiness, tensions and conflicts were hidden.

Yachi, a former teammate of Hinata, had been hanging around the hospital since she heard the news. With a look full of sadness, she watched the happy family from afar. Despite her feelings for Hinata, she knew that he only had eyes for Tito.

On the other hand, Tsukishima, Hinata's eternal rival, had intensified his attempts to conquer Tito. With his usual sarcasm and air of superiority, he tried to get the artist's attention, but Tito ignored him completely.

And Kageyama, Hinata's former teammate and long-time rival on the court, couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy at seeing his friend so happy. Even though he had tried to win Hinata back on several occasions, he was always politely turned down.

Despite the obstacles and hardships, Tito and Hinata were determined to build a strong, united family. With the support of their friends and family, they knew they could overcome any challenge that came their way.

Kiyoomi fondly watches Atsumu playing with his niece, making silly faces to make her laugh and indulging her silly tricks, light pheromones dancing in the air around them in delight.

“Mama! Puppy, puppy!” she squeals, stuffing her fox plushie under Atsumu’s sweater.

“Yer really excited to become a big sister, aren’tcha, Akari-chan?”

Akari nuzzles her cheeks against Atsumu’s faux baby bump, promptly wincing in distaste when she picks up on the alphan scent—Kiyoomi’s scent—drenching Atsumu’s clothes. “Stinky!” her face contorts with genuine disgust, her tiny nose wriggling adorably still.

“Haha! Uncle Omi reeks, doesn’t he?” Atsumu playfully coos, releasing his pheromones. He hoists Akari in his arms and perches her on his lap, the little girl immediately seizing him in a big, warm hug and burying her nose in Atsumu’s l scent glands, giggly breaths tickling his neck.

From the other end of the couch, Kiyoomi rolls his eyes and scoffs, arms folded over his chest, helplessly endeared but foolishly jealous of Atsumu’s special bond with his brother’s daughter.

“So possessive, Kiyo-chan~” Tooru teases in a singsong, emerging from the kitchen with a whole tray of baked muffins, fresh out of the oven. “They’re just having fun. Don’t get mad at my babies,” he adds, knowing fully well Kiyoomi absolutely hates it when he uses the pet name for his omega.

Kiyoomi lets out a disgruntled groan.

Behind Tooru, Issei chuckles and wraps his arms around his mate, rubbing soothing circles on Tooru’s round, bulging belly. Tooru twists his neck and gives his alpha a kiss on the lips, short and sweet.

“Mommy and Daddy are flirtin’!” Akari gasps as she hides her face in her hands, mindlessly mimicking Atsumu’s accent in excitement.

“Of course we are, darling!” Tooru huffs, utterly shameless. “How do you think did mommy get pregnmrph-!”

“Not flirting, sweetie. Love love!” Issei shoves a muffin into Tooru’s mouth to shut him up.

Akari peeks between her knobby fingers, then she lunges into Atsumu’s arms and tackles him in an embrace. “Love love!”

Atsumu snuggles into the small bundle of joy, holding her tight.

Kiyoomi sighs, defeated yet uncontrollably fond.

When honey eyes meet his own, they share a wordless understanding through fervent gazes, heavy and sultry and /aching/ for each other. Longing for something they’ve always had close, but not quite their own.

They’ve been ready for a while now, so it’s no surprise they’ve reached a tipping point.

Kiyoomi’s inner alpha howls in anticipation.

A silent promise is conveyed in mellowed scents, which doesn’t go unnoticed by the other pair of fated mates in the room. Issei and Tooru turn their heads with matching mischievous looks, snickering, catching the shift in Kiyoomi’s temper.

But Kiyoomi could care less, for his mind is set on one thing alone: whisking Atsumu away and taking him home.

Not sure if anyone is here from my ushioi/iwaoi series but I skipped writing and drew the baby already 🥹 I couldn’t wait 😭
