at first i was like hmm mer!haibara/mer!sugu…. cute……. :33 BUT THEN I REALIZED haibara needs to be a human. it’s so perfect. he’s the perfect human in a human/merman story. he’s the prince to the little mermaid. etc etc. he’s just sooo kind and sweet and he would be so in awe of mer!sugu :((( i picture the latter as being kind of a hater and very distrustful of humans but haibara is just such a ray of sunshine….. mer!sugu couldn’t hate him even if he tried :(((( they’re our little angels. haibara would go swimming in the sea and almost drown or something and mer!sugu would end up haphazardly saving him….. and haibara would stay in love for the rest of his life.
