Get Smashed, Haguro Tonbo! (Iron Drink Dragonfly)

I would like to give special attention to the 'drink' part of it's name and give it the ability to 'drink' from it's opponents and add to Lisa's power, sort of like Craven Edge from Vox Machina without the blood rage. (Get Smashed just sound more interesting than just smash)

Bankai: Naitokuīntonbo (Knight Queen Damselfly)

Her sword turns into armor, what's not to love? Now this Bankai seems cosmetic at first, not even increasing her pressure and is breakable (it would be almost impossible for base Renji before Lost Agent in cannon). But what if I told you this Bankai's gimmick was that it was meant to be broken. The more of it that is broken, the stronger Lisa gets. Downside she has to tank some hits, but the returns make it worth the risk.

Sidenote before we get into the Espada stuff, I like the Idea of Rukia and Jackie fighting. It's would be an interesting character fight, Rukia who takes pride in Sode no Shirayuki being called beautiful against Jackie and her Dirty Boots. This could also serve as a sign of progress of Rukia's mastery of Hakka no Togame, with her first Bankai being against Aaroniero, with her actually using a technique based on Senkei Senbonzakura Kageyoshi against Jackie. I would actually like it alot if Rukia had a fight against Bazz-B who has Yamamoto's Bankai, The Heat vs. The Haze if you would. Byakuya's injury at the hands of Az-Not being the force that drives her to fully master her Shunkō.

Segunda should be something Starrk also had access to as it is essentially Arrancar Bankai. To that end I would like to change it's name. No longer is it Segunda Etapa now it is;

Segunda Alma Santa (Second Soul Saint)

To that end Ulquiorra's Segunda Etapa is a immature form of second release (not that he knows that). Segunda Alma Santa is an ability related to overcoming the form of death the Espada and the sin they were originally meant to represent with some addendums (See Starrk and Ulquiorra). I would imagine that the designs are somewhat similar the the Hōgyoku Resurrección from Brave Souls, instead of the Hōgyoku there's a small colored flame in their hollow holes (in Starrk's case two). So let's begin:

Coyote Starrk, Solitude and Vainglory

Segunda Alma Santa: Los Lobos de la Soledad (The Wolves of Solitude)

Starrk is more reticent than others to unleash his Segunda for the first time, due to the fact that he has no idea what would happen to Lilynette, but when Starrk is mortally wounded by Shunsui's attacks, Lilynette forces the transformation at the cost of her separate existence. This version of Starrk has a closer bond to some of the other Espada, leading to how he overcame his solitude. Starrk's whole thing is desiring connection but not realising he already had it.

"You're not alone anymore Starrk! Stop acting like you don't have friends!"

Tier Harribel, Sacrifice and Sloth

Segunda Alma Santa: Sacrificio de la Emperatriz Tiburón (Sacrifice of the Shark Empress)

The simple answer to the Thousand-Year Blood War's shafting of the Arrancar and Espada; show them fighting back. Infact why not make Kenpachi's first shikai against The Jail, the Arrancar are on somewhat good terms with the Shinigami post Aizen and ask for aid. Who arrives to help, Kenpachi, why does he have his shikai? Zanpakuto rebellion, Yachiru revealed herself as Nozarashi and she's fucking pissed at him. She becomes a problem that Kenpachi couldn't solve by hitting it harder.

Harribel seems very reactive, she only actively engages Toshiro after her Fracción are taken down by The Captain Commander. This can be seen as Sloth, so thrust her head first into a situation where she must be proactive lest her people die. This leads to Harribel asking the fresh off a character arc Kenpachi what he would do in this situation. Kenpachi's answer is that she has to get off her ass and meet this head on. Note that this is a Kenpachi that gave up on hearing Nozarashi's voice and angered her as a result. I would imagine that her Segunda is more regal and less fanservice.

Nelliel Tu Odelschwanck, Lamentation and Gluttony

Segunda Alma Santa: Príncipe Gamuza del Lamento (Prince Chamois of Lament)

Nel kills Nnoitra. Nel's memories slowly come back through out Ichigo's rampage through Hueco Mundo. Starrk ends up critically injuring Kenpachi meaning Nel has to avenge herself. Unleashing her Segunda repairs the damage Nnoitra caused to her Hollow Mask and Ulquiorra notes that she has reached to the same level of strength as The Cero Espada, Wonderweiss Margela. A fact that seems to illicit some fear from him as he is fighting Ichigo in his own 'Segunda' and noticing the gap in strength between him and Nel. Again less fanservice and more knight vibes, maybe give her goat legs instead of centaur ones. As for why she's gluttony, she literally eats a cero.

"You broke me and that I can forgive. But hurting my friends, Nnoitra, that is a one way trip to hell."

Ulquiorra Cifer, Nihility and Melancholy

Segunda Alma Santa: Diablo Alado del Nihilismo (Winged Devil of Nihilism)

Orihime is the catalyst that allows him to fully mature his Segunda. Given how in the canon she played a role in helping Ulquiorra to understand aspects of his emotions before his death, only Orihime heals Ulquiorra after he passes out. He is later found by the other remaining Espada. He ends up fighting Az-Not and fully realizes his Segunda as a result of The Fear.

Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez, Destruction and Greed

Segunda Alma Santa: Colmillo Destructor de la Pantera (Panther's Destruction Fang)

Grimmjow gets trapped in Quilge Opie's Jail and thrown into a Garganta created by Ulquiorra who had been ordered by Harribel to evacuate the weaker Arrancar. The Garanta is forcibly closed by the Quincy leaving Grimmjow and a good portion of the arrancar trapped in the boundary between destinations. Grimmjow learns to channel his more destructive impulses and eventually break out of the jail just in time for Ulquiorra to force the Garganta open. This doesn't pay off until Askin.

So i came up with this idea, but how would the warlords react to MC’s dog (like a Doberman or a Rottweiler that travelled through time with her) ran all the way from Azuchi to Kasugayama (or vice versa) to find it’s owner?

MC’s dog searches for her everywhere.

Oda forces.

Nobunaga Oda.

Nobunaga will be impressed to see a dog that travelled alone for so long just to find his owner, it will remind him of Haguro. On that note, he will consider training other animals like dogs to be obedient like that.

Hideyoshi Toyotomi.

Hideyoshi will lightly scold the dog for traveling all by himself to find MC, then he will proceed to give it a bath, food and a warm place to stay. It was too dangerous for the dog to travel all the way like that.

Mitsuhide Akechi.

Mitsuhide will be impressed with the dog’s resistance, he will pat the dog’s head and give him some treats that were intended for Chimaki, his pet fox. Even this dog was more courageous than some men he knew.

Masamune Date.

Masamune might be a cat person, but he will spoil the dog for doing such a good job traveling to azuchi from Kasugayama, that was definitely difficult and tiring. He will keep the dog in his manor and return him to MC when she is around.

Mitsunari Ishida.

Mitsunari will be so impressed he will commend the dog, finding him very brave to travel from such a faraway place alone. The dog will get many pets from him.

Ieyasu Tokugawa.

Ieyasu will not believe it at first, but seeing how tired and dirty the dog was, he had to believe that it traveled all alone from Kasugayama. He will first check if the dog was injured or sick to treat him and then he will give the dog back to MC.

Ranmaru Mori.

Oh you poor thing! Ranmaru will immediately care for the dog, feeling pity that the cute animal traveled alone from such a distance. He will sneak in some treats for the dog and play with it.

Keiji.

Keiji will find the dog strong and brave for coming to azuchi all alone just to find you. He will reward the dog with a full meal and head pats, not many animals can do that.

Uesugi-Takeda alliance.

Kenshin Uesugi.

Kenshin will be surprised by your dog’s strength, even now after reaching his destination. He will make a whole banquet for the dog to honor it, as if he was celebrating one of his soldiers.

Shingen Takeda.

Shingen will find the dog adorable and very admirable, giving him many belly rubs to reward the dog for coming such a long way. He will take care of it for a while before returning him to you, the dog was just so adorable!

Yukimura Sanada.

Yukimura love dogs, so he will adore receiving your dog at Kasugayama. He will let your dog and Muramasa, his pet wolf, play together. He might even join in to play with the two animals.

Yoshimoto Imagawa.

Ugh, look at how filthy the poor dog’s fur got from all that traveling? Yoshimoto will put it upon himself to make the dog’s fur shine and have a nice scent from the bath, he might even consider dressing the dog up but will think it would be a waste.

Sasuke.

Sasuke will smile at the dog and congratulate him for the long journey, but he won’t keep the dog with him and will immediately return him to you. Sasuke doesn’t want his pet squirrel, Kunai, to get scared by your dog.

Kanetsugu.

Kanetsugu will find the dog’s action reckless, since he could have gotten hurt from all that traveling. But he won’t nag the dog for long, instead he will order the maids to wash the dog and give it food before returning it to you.

A/N: This will end up being a multi part fic, once I started I couldn’t stop.

When she decided to stay in the Sengoku era, everything felt so perfect, and she was in bliss. Maybe that’s the honeymoon period everyone talks about. It had been three years, and sometimes, she struggled to get through the fog. Did she love Nobunaga? Yes, of course, she did, but was it enough just to love him? Did Nobunaga love her? Sometimes, she wasn’t so sure. When was the last time they were intimate? She couldn’t remember. It had been months. 

She walked over to where cherry blossom trees were gathered and overlooked a large clearing. She put her hand out, and a petal landed in her palm. She closed her hand tightly and looked up at the tree. “Are you sad when your petals fall?” She asked the tree, knowing it couldn’t talk back.  She sat against the tree, watching the petals fall around her. She looked into the clearing, and a single tear escaped her eye, and she wiped it away as soon as it fell.

A shadow appeared, and she looked up to see a tall figure standing there. “Hideyoshi?” He gave her a sad smile. “What are you doing over here by yourself?” 

“I needed to be alone,” a deep crease formed between Hideyoshi’s eyebrows. “If I may?” He motioned to the ground, asking if he could sit with her. She nodded. “Sure.” He sat next to her and extended his legs, crossing his ankles. “I’m worried about you. You seem to be in low spirits. You can talk to me; you can talk to any of us.” She forced a small smile. “I know, but if I talk about it, I’ll start crying.” Hideyoshi took her hand. “It’s okay to cry. Keeping your issues inside isn’t good.” When it finally fell from her lips, she mulled over what to say, “I want to go home, Hideyoshi.” He nodded.

“I’ll walk with you.” He went to get up, but she squeezed his hand. “That’s not what I mean. I want to go to where I’m from; I need to get away, at least for a while. I need space.” He looked at her with a pained expression, “Are you okay _ _ _? I understand if you want to leave, but are you okay?” She stood up and shook her head. “No… No, I’m not, and that’s why I need to leave.” She said, looking down at Hideyoshi. 

“What about Nobunaga?” The mention of his name made the emotion fill her, and she had to take a deep breath to push it down. “It’s him, he’s the reason.” She sighed, “I’ll tell him,” She said, and Hideyoshi stood up. “He won’t be happy.” She looked into Hideyoshi’s worried amber eyes. “I’m not happy. I’m going with or without his approval.” Hideyoshi bowed his head. “If you need this, I support your decision, but he loves you. I hope you know that.” She scoffed. “I don’t know about that. I’m going inside.” Hideyoshi went to follow her, but he hesitated, as it was apparent she wanted to be alone. He watched as she walked towards the palace.  If time is what she needs, he’ll find a way to give it to her, even if it means that Nobunaga is unhappy.

Once in the tenshu, she looked at their lives together: her clothes, his clothes. It made her heart weep. She hadn’t realized she wanted to return until she blurted it out to Hideyoshi. She sat at Nobunaga’s desk with a brush and ink. She drew up a letter to her most trusted ally and best friend, Sasuke. She blew on the page and waved it in the air, trying to speed up the drying; what she would give to have a pencil at that moment.

Finally dry enough that it wouldn’t smudge, she rolled it up and tied it to the foot of Haguro, Nobunaga’s hawk. Using Haguro to send Sasuke a message about leaving felt like a betrayal, but she needed to do this. Once the letter was secured onto the hawk’s ankle, Haguro jumped off the window sill and flew away, heading towards Echigo.

She had purposely left the letter vague in case someone got ahold of the letter. She said, “Come see me, it’s important.” She signed her name next to the words “with love.” She wrote the letter in the handwriting from the modern world. Even though she had become accustomed to writing in the Sengoku, she always wrote to Sasuke that way. It was their special way of sharing the secret of where they were from.

Two days later, she was in the market enjoying the feel of the luscious silk fabrics, looking at their intricate patterns, and taking in the beauty of the Sengoku market with the hustle and bustle of business owners and patrons.  She was looking at a fabric roll when she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned around and saw Sasuke, and she gave him a small smile and hugged him. “Is everything okay? You’re letter was vague it made me worry.” She frowned. “I’m sorry.” He shook his head. “No worries, so what’s going on.” She bit her lip. “Let’s sit down somewhere and maybe get a bite to eat.”

They found a restaurant and shared a drink and a sweet dessert. She looked up and felt conflicted as she took a bite, but she had to do this. “What is it?” She pressed her lips together. “Is there any way you can get me home?” She said, holding back tears, but the emotion seeped through her voice anyway. “You mean our hometown?”  She closed her eyes. “Yes,” He studied her. “Are you sure this is what you want? You don’t seem certain.” 

“I need to get away.” He grabbed her hand from across the table, “You know I would never pry, but talking about it might help.” He grasped her hand tightly, “it’s Nobunga and I, things have changed. I love him, but this is torture. His thumb graced her skin as a tear ran down her cheek. “Why don’t you come to Echigo with me for a while? Then you can figure out what you want.” She grimaced. “I’m an enemy princess.” He scoffed. “You’re my friend. I won’t let anything happen. I think they’ll like you. I know they will.” She wiped her tears away. “Okay, I trust you.” He smiled, “this will be good for you. Can you be ready tomorrow morning?” She nodded. “Yes, I’ll meet you here.” He nodded.  He paid, they went their separate ways, and she knew what she had to do.
