Kinda along the lines of "if MC's family put a hit out on them", suppose an heir!MC went power-hungry (Or paranoid) and put a hit out on people, what would be the reactions of everyone (ROs, Yvette, Luka, Gramps) if they were the one that MC put the bounty on.

Ash

Would be utterly devastated. They'd probably fight off all of the hitmen's attempts and burn their way back to MC. Once they're finally face-to-face with MC, they'd just ask them the reason behind all of this and ask them to kill them themself. If there's anyone they'd rather die to, it would be by MC's hands and in MC's arms.

Rin

Would be seething in cold fury. There'll probably some hints of sadness and sorrow because they really thought they can trust MC, but that is eclipsed by the rage of the betrayal. Probably never going to be able to fully trust anyone else outside of their family for the rest of their life.

They'd pay MC the same courtesy, putting even higher bounty on MC's head. It'd be an all out war between the Morozovs and the Aikawas, no matter how good of a friendship Luka has with Takashi. It would be such a Pyrrhic victory for whichever family left standing that the result might as well be mutually assured destruction.

Santana

Would be devastated and in despair. Probably going to just give up and wait for their fate. After all, what else can they do? They're not good in combat, their power can't help them, they don't have any connections or resources that can get them out of the city or to safety.

Their only wish is to be able to meet MC again for one last time and ask them why are they doing this? Santana is a nobody compared to MC and their family, considering them a threat is laughable. Should've just told them if MC is now bored of them instead of this.

Skylar

Would be in disbelief and in denial. There's no way MC would do this to them, right? It must've been villains they have fought who got away and now hold grudge against them.

With their dual powers, it would be easier for them to fight off the hitmen. But also, they'd probably fly up directly to whatever ivory tower MC resides in, phase through and try to clarify it with MC.

But once MC makes it clear that it is indeed them, Skylar's just brokenhearted, disappointed, upset, and a lot of other mix of emotions. They swear they would be the one who take MC down, no matter how many years it would take, before taking off and leaving.

Luka

Honestly, for the first few weeks, he probably wouldn't know what to do and is probably shutting down emotionally from the overwhelming stress and grief. He doesn't understand why MC would betray him like this; he has sacrificed his youth to raise and take care of MC and he thought he was doing a good job. He also doesn't want to hurt MC because he cares for them and he promised his brother.

Thankfully for him, he's got a hitman with powerful ability as his boyfriend. Jackal, upon finding out about all of this, would be livid and curse out MC for being an ungrateful brat. He's basically the only thing anchoring Luka and he tries his best to protect him and to keep him from spiraling even further.

But in his heart, he swears, once everything starts to die down and Luka is somewhere safe, he will hunt down MC, even if Luka will end up hating him. Luka might've made a promise not to harm MC and to always keep them safe to Viktor, but Jackal has never made such promise to anyone so far.

So, yeah, the probability of MC getting rid of Luka through bounty is pretty slim considering he has Jackal, who has spent most of his life surviving the same ordeal. And not only Jackal's haemokinesis is really strong, but Luka's own teleportation ability makes him a very hard man to catch.

Grandpa

Deep sorrow... and emptiness. He knows what he has to do, for the sake of his only remaining son and for himself... It's probably the hardest decision he has--and probably will--ever make in his entire life, but in the end, he knows it's necessary.

Grandpa can be stone cold--even more than he already is--when he purposefully shut down his emotions and repress his feelings, and that will be what he does for MC. Even though MC might be the heir and probably de facto head of the family in Elysium City, the old man still has a lot of sway, respect, and fear among the members of the family and some of the city's elites and officials. Especially the branch in New York, it is still under his control.

He would declare MC a traitor and start to try turn MC's own people against them--probably not all, probably some decide to stay loyal to MC, probably some just see more opportunities to rise through the ranks under MC's leadership... But the number of those who do side with Grandpa would not be small and there will probably be some kind of internal civil war within the family.

He would also put a bounty for MC's head, higher than the bounty MC put on him and he would also immediately cut off any of the family's companies that are not directly under MC's name, effectively cutting off MC's supplies of money and resources as well.

In a battle of attrition, Grandpa would probably win, plus he’ll constantly surround himself with the strongest and most loyal of his men, and with his own power allowing people to do as he commands, it is going to be really hard to kill him.

Yvette

Would be scared for her life and depending on whether you reconcile with her or not, it can be either a sense of acceptance or a sense of regret. Maybe she’s just reaping what she sowed; after all, it is already some sort of miracle that she can even live this long without any problem despite having pissed off the Morozovs.

And now, after years of being under Viktor’s protection,of course, it’s going to be their chid who’s finally had enough. She knows she has no chance of fighting or even simply confronting MC.

Her strength has never lied in combat and her powers have always been used more as support, and now, as she’s getting older, she has started to pass her prime. But what she can do is use her powers to get away and escape encounters.

Maybe she’ll leave the city if she can, but she honestly doesn’t know what to do after—or how long can she keep evading these hitmen.

Personality- She's harsh, self-sufficient, a major grudge holder, & an uncompromising force with an unbreakable sense of morality and justice. She's currently single.

She has the standard abilities of a goddess except shapeshifting. As the goddess of punishment (as it relates to the punishment for the crime of murder & manslaughter), her other powers/abilities include umbrakinesis, limited necromancy & soul manipulation, truth sense, having an innate sense of a being's death (by way of an eerie buzzing sound that only she can hear), fire immunity, haemokinesis (blood manipulation), and having an innate knowledge of different order systems.

Poena lives by herself in a house built from onyx and Stygian Iron. Inside, the walls (which are built out of concrete) are bare- except for various mounted weaponry while the flooring is black brimstone. There's stainless steel appliances and Stygian Iron cupboards in the kitchen, leather furniture with glass & metal furniture pieces in the living room, as well as a basement filled with other weaponry and a wide variety of torture devices. Because of their busy schedules, they don't get to spend time together often, so they're constantly keeping in touch through text. When they do have down time, a favorite pasttime of Poena and her daughters is lava surfing by the currents of the River Phlegethon. They also love visiting the Stygios Gun Range.

She doesn't wear much makeup except for mascara, black liquid eyeliner, & powder.

A favorite accessory of hers that she always wears on her clothes is her platinum scales of justice brooch pin.

Poena has two assistants- a lampade named Darcy and an empousa named Enya. She says that without them helping out with her workload, she would've gone mad a long time ago.

She's well versed in pressure point martial arts, jui-jitsu, and lethwei styles of fighting.

Poena has "an eye of an eye" way of looking at things when it comes to the world & the criminal justice system. She's a firm proponent of the death penalty.

Poena is a licensed lawyer. Her office is located in the Shadowstone neighborhood of New Olympus. For other means of income, she also teaches the criminal justice class at the New Olympus School of Law and she's also the head executioner (an official who carries out a sentence of death on a legally condemned being) at Chlotonius Prison- the most notorious maximum security facility in Olympius. Poena works there alongside the prison's warden Ponos (god of hard labor & toil). Means of execution carried out includes the guillotine, hanging, lethal injection, electrocution, gas chamber, firing squad, and being burned alive. She also writes for the crime section in The Oracle newspaper.

Poena is currently developing a signature parfum. She hasn't decided on a name or the design of the perfume bottle, but has settled on the fragrance notes- jasmine, belladonna, orchid, saffron, pomegranate, musk, incense, honey, & blackberry.

She loves snacking on mint charcoal gum.

The steak salad drizzled in extra creamy balsamic vinaigrette dressing is her favorite thing to get at The Bread Box.

Her & Nyx rode dragons throughout the Underworld together one night. The Mother of Darkness rode Mysterion while Poena rode Nyx's other dragon Rhaegara.

On TV she loves watching true crime programs, the news, gothic black & white movies, as well as episodes of The Agnostic Network- which is hosted by Momus (god of mockery, satire, & ridicule).

the sudden thunder and rain storm last night wasn’t accidental — and the news team at channel 12 wouldn’t have been able to catch it no matter how hard they tried. call it fate, or another piece of grimrose lore, but the storm feels like deja vu to those in grimrose — even the tourists who have only been in town for a short time. most think nothing of it, even the fog, but the newcomers with hidden abilities feel even weirder. 

you know that feeling when you’ve broken a bone and can somehow sense a change in the weather is coming ? that feeling is similar to what will soon be known as the awakening. those characters with hidden abilities will soon begin to see signs — small ones, yes, but signs that something weird happened after that storm. 

those with more physical abilities ( atmokinesis, chlorokinesis, electrokinesis,  haemokinesis, magnokinesis, photokinesis, phutrakinesis, umbrakinesis ) may begin to notice weird things happening first as they’re able to manipulate things they can physically see. 

those with abilities that aren’t visible to the human eye ( amokinesis, audiokinesis,  cebrukinesis, pathokinesis, phobikinesis, odynokinesis, oneirokinesis, tychokinesis ) may not notice something about them is different right away — not unless they’re truly tapped into their own minds or mistakingly find themselves there.

Winter break is over... and I'm not handling it well 🥲 (plz wish me luck).

But I was hoping that you could write (if you have time) some fluffy facts about Luka and Jackals relationship to counteract the soul sucking parasite that is school and work.

Hang in there, anon and all the other readers 🥺 Time flies and soon it would hopefully be Summer break. And of course, I’d love to talk more about Luka and Jackal 🤭☺️

Luka was the one who ended up confessing his feelings first. It was not planned whatsoever, and one morning, he was just overwhelmed by his feelings and finally acknowledged it. (You can read the side story about it here [part 1, part 2]), if you haven’t 😉)

Even though Jackal has always been pretty insecure about the glaring scar on his lips, Luka has always been fond of it and tried to make Jackal feel more comfortable with it.

During the early days of them sleeping together, neither of them had ever stayed the night. Most of the time, it was Jackal who came over to Luka’s place instead of the reverse, and one night, Luka just grabbed his arm, stopping him from getting off the bed and leaving. Luka was the first one who asked him to stay and against his better judgement, Jackal relented.

Jackal loves laying his head on Luka’s chest and just listens to his heartbeat. His haemokinesis makes it easier for him to feel and listen to heartbeat and he is sure that he would be able to pick out Luka’s in a crowd of other people.

Jackal enjoys being the small spoon (not that he will ever say it out loud). It makes him feel safe and even though he’s more than capable of defending himself, it just feels nice to finally have someone he trusts so much that he can let his guard down completely.

Luka is on a mission to catch Jackal up on some movies that he likes and the ones that he thinks Jackal will like. Jackal’s not a film buff like Luka, but the thing he enjoys the most out of their movie nights is seeing Luka just talking enthusiastically about the movies. He thinks it’s cute that Luka has a dorky side that only he and some people Luka’s close to are privy of.

Jackal usually enjoys making simple breakfast for both himself and Luka whenever he wakes up earlier than Luka, like tomato and egg stir fry with white rice or steamed egg. Is also the one who first introduced Luka to the joy of eating instant ramen. (Jackal’s okay in cooking, but when he was living by himself, he rarely cooked and mostly just ordered takeouts).

Ever since Jackal spends more and more of his time at Luka’s place, Luka has started to pay more attention to what stuff are in his pantry and fridge. He wants to make sure that whatever food Jackal wants to cook or eat is available. Of course, since Luka’s mostly busy, he has relegated that task mostly to the house butler, Sebastian, who also takes initiative to learn cooking more variety of Asian food, specifically Chinese food.

Not sure whether this is fluffy, but I’m gonna include it here anyway 😂 Jackal likes to give Luka some love nips/nibbles hard enough to draw a little blood before kissing and licking it closed. Luka’s just used to it by now and just considers it Jackal’s version of giving hickies, but without actually leaving marks behind.

Personality- An ultimate bad-ass, she's well known in the pantheon for her short temper! She's unapologetically brutal, harsh, & unforgiving. Positively, she's fiercely determined and passionate. She's recently married.

She has the standard abilities of a goddess. As the goddess of war, destruction, bloodlust, & devastation her powers/abilities include pyrokinesis (her fire burns a bright red), limited geokinesis (can cause earthquakes- not to the level of Poseidon), odikinesis (manipulating the feelings of rage, anger, & violence in others), flight (due to her black swan like wings), telumkinesis, being able to communicate with/shapeshift into her sacred animal- the swan, haemokinesis (blood manipulation), and summoning weapons out of thin air.

Enyo's main abode with her husband is the top floor of The Stratios, a luxury high rise apartment building in the Little Sparta neigborhood of New Olympus. They also own a mansion estate in Sparta & are thinking about getting a beach house in Themiscyra. Inside the apartment, the ceilings and walls are made out of pure bloodstone while the floors are a flawless black marble. There are lots of metal & leather furniture with many decorative pieces of armor, helmets, and weapons lining the walls. There's a separate war room as well as a room that's filled with a wide arsenal of various weapons. When Enyo is not in the mood to use her wings, she gets around in her sleek black sports car. She has two pets- twin dragons (a boy & girl) named Bellum and Bellona. Their bright crimson & silver scales are often complimented on!

A go-to drink for her is a cranberry martini. She also likes red hot shots, bloody marys, mulled wine, beer, negronis, manhattans, red wine, dark cherry cola, & black raven cocktails. Her usuals from The Roasted Bean are the large cranberry cherry spalsh and olympian sized roast coffee (with a bit of sugar).

Enyo starts off her mornings with a super intense cardio workout along with a session of kickboxing at the gym. She then goes to the spa for a session of acupuncture.

She loves steak & eggs for breakfast, putting way too much inferno hot sauce on top! She likes her bacon extra crispy and nearly burnt & she also likes when her husband makes his eggplant-ground pork stuffed steamed buns.

Enyo surprisingly has her own glamour doll collectible!

One notable moment in her godly career was when she awarded the gold medal to a giantess named Atonia at the Olympic Tournament who broke the record for the javelin throw!

A favorite sweet treat of hers is chocolate cherry ice cream.

Enyo is well versed in many fighting styles including mixed martial arts, capoeira, kyusho jitsu (pressure point martial arts), muay thai, and pankration!

She once almost came to blows with Themis (Titaness of justice) after she rendered a verdict in a court case where Enyo was in attendance.

In the pantheon she's friends with Aegaeon (god of sea storms), Hysminai (goddess of fighting & combat), Gymnasia (goddess of excercise & gymnastics), Philotes (goddess of sex, friendship, & affection), Dyssebeia (goddess of ungodliness & impiety), Proioxis (goddess of attack, onrush, & battlefield pursuit), Dione, Adikia (goddess of injustice & wrongdoing), Kéfi (goddess of mirth), Atë (goddess of mischief, ruin, blind folly, delusion, & downfall of heroes), Hybris (goddess of insolence, hubris, & reckless pride), Lycana (Titaness of lycanthropy), Perses (Titan god of destruction), Menoetius (Titan god of anger, violence, & rash actions), Poena (goddess of punishment), Alastor (god of blood feuds & vengeance), Felis (Titaness of cats), and Kakia (goddess of vice & moral wrongdoing).

She loves getting the spicy BBQ rib sandwich from The Bread Box.

Enyo recently got married to her husband Polemos (god of the war cry) three months ago on a private beach in Sparta (this particular beach is known for its black sand). They first met a year ago during construction of the Thereitas military base in the city. To say their chemistry was instantaneous is an understatement! Perses jokingly remarked that the initial meeting was akin to "a bomb meeting a stick of dynamite." They couldn't keep their hands off each other during photos at the grand opening of the 2nd largest military base in New Olympus. A week after his divorce from Ioke (goddess of pursuit, tumult, & battle rout) was finalized, Polemos proposed to Enyo with a yellow gold band custom oval cut rhodolite garnet ring surrounded with yellow canary diamonds, rubies, & white diamonds. Her wedding dress was far from traditional (garnering an audible gasp from Hera)- a backless curve hugging sheer black dress with a corset bodice and tulle sheer skirt.

She loves the Olmorfia matte lipstick in "Carnivorous", a dark red color.

Enyo has a good relationship with her step-daughter Alala (goddess of war cry). When Alala visits they'll go shopping, check out the latest action movie at the cinema, & go to the gun range.

A guilty pleasure of hers are olympian sized cajun fries from Olympic Chef!

Her main job is overseeing the Thereitas military base with her husband. For other sources of income, she models for/endorses Delicious Xtasy, Megaleio, & atelier fantaisie. She also sometimes writes for The Oracle newspaper and O Dianooumenos. Enyo is also a professional wrestler! Her stage name is Black Widow & some of her signature moves include the riptide, pop-up body toss, prism trap, stalling suplex, & full nelson slam. There's excited and frightened buzz about an upcoming match between her & the cyclops Maneater.

She once knocked a mortal guy out cold when her tried grabbing her ass while she was walking with Alala.

One of her favorite gifts she Enyo ever got was the white gold bloodstone & onyx charm bracelet from her husband.

Kéfi gave her a swan shaped jeweled clutch from Diamond Ave. for Christmas.

Her & her husband are HUGE basketball fanatics! When watching games, they always rep for their favorite team- the Sparta Spears!

Some of Enyo's favorite foods include sausage & pepper skewers, feijoada with white rice, baião de dois, steak (well done) smothered in onions, lamb souvlaki, & moussaka.

Yes, as her last name indicated, she is Bucky’s younger sister

So here’s what happened. Bucky, at first, was very resilient from Hydra’s attempts to make him the perfect super soldier. They needed some leverage to make him comply. After looking into his file, they realized that Bucky had a younger sister that he cared very deeply about. They snatched her and used her for her intended purpose (it worked, the last thing he wanted was for his sister to get hurt). Here’s the thing. If you think that Bucky didn’t teach Georgia AT LEAST basic combat against anyone who could harm her, you’re dead wrong. She proved to be stronger than they originally planned and that’s when they decided to try to make a female super soldier (big brain moment if you ask me). So yeah that happened, but she reacted differently to the serum. Because she is a female and men just have a little misogyny in the back of their minds, they dosed her with significantly less serum and that reacted differently with her molecules, giving her different powers. For the longest time they just kept her cryogenically frozen, not happy with the results, but then when the Winter Soldier escaped, they brought her back out. Jokes on them though because she also escaped and found her brother quicker than Hydra ever could lol
