yandere!sung jinwoo x bi!fem.reader x yandere!cha hae-in
warnings: violence; ooc hae-in and jinwoo, i’m so sorry.
dedicated to @starzgaze
{ i want to ruin our friendship; we should be lovers instead. }
anonymous said: Helloo!! I don't know if you're willing to do a request but I was thinking an Jinwoo x reader x cha hae in since the reader is bisexual (I can't blame the reader if she's attracted to both of them Because I am too HUHU) although they don't know that they're crushes where Yanderes this whole time KABSKAKSJ :>
once you finished organizing all the reports for the chairman, you hear the older man thanking you for your time as he allowed you to go home for the rest of the day. you smile at chairman go gunhee, reassuring him that it was no trouble helping him at all as you stepped out of his office with a bounce in your step.
lately, the appearance of high leveled gates had become far and few in between. there seemed to be more peaceful days piling on as the hunters and healers alike were given little to do during such a time.
and the cause of this sudden decrease in raids?
a competition between the two most powerful guilds in all of seoul, korea-
the hunters guild vs ahjin guild.
despite being good friends with two of the most prominent members of each guild, (hae-in and jinwoo, respectively), you hadn’t the slightest clue why they were so competitive.
regardless of their reasoning, neither you or your fellow hunters and healers complained. after all, they were doing a great service, making all these gates disappear while restoring peace back to the entire nation within mere days.
as you were heading out of the association building, you felt the hairs stand up at the back of your neck. you had a strange sensation of being watched. your heart was felt pounding with anticipation… and before you could turn around to face whoever was watching you-
the sudden scent of vanilla fills your senses, feeling cha hae-in running up to you while letting out a soft coo of your name. “hello… i’ve missed you!”
her sudden affection and desire to be close to you was a bit out of character from how she usually was, you knew that as a fact. before you ever transferred to korea’s hunter association branch, she was known as being standoffish and aloof, never once getting close to civilians or other hunters since she had such a sensitive sense of smell.
you knew about her mana sensitivities and kept your distance from her out of respect the moment you transferred. however, it all changes when she actually came face to face with you. a dreamy expression would paint her features, and she would come closer to you, literally sniffing at your blouse when she giggles and says, “you smell so good… like sweet cinnamon rolls… just so sugary sweet…”
her comment about the scent of you and your mana makes you feel flustered as you simply thanked her, which was the moment she had proclaimed herself as your best friend.
hae-in giggles while deeply inhaling your scent, basking in it for a few moment before clinging to you. “hey, how about we have another slumber party! it’ll be my treat!”
“huh? hae-in, we had one just a few days ago… are you not tired of seeing me?”
“not at all! come on, the gates haven’t been appearing as much thanks to how well i have been doing, and i want to spend more time with you.” hae-in giggles while clinging to your arm.
you join her in her laughter, actually not minding having so many slumber parties with her since it was quite fun. whether it be having a movie marathon, or gaming with her while enjoying takeout and snacks, you liked spending time with her… maybe even as more than friends.
as you smile back at hae-in and ask about what she would like to get as takeout, you were unaware of the almost victorious expression on her face, her eyes glowing a bright golden hue as she sneered back at the hunter with startling, purple eyes filled with envy.
{ … }
sung jinwoo had tried to kill cha hae-in many times, seeing as though she were the sole threat when it came to obtaining your heart.
but unfortunately for him, the woman was persistent and powerful in her own ways. when she felt threatened, even feeling the tiniest chance of being ripped away from you-
that was when her claws were revealed to him.
he clutches the sharp dagger in his hand, knowing that if he just aimed the weapon slightly to his left, then he would be able to pierce through hae-in’s skull-
however, he did not wish to traumatize you.
it was ultimately the love he had for you that stops him from going through with his plans of killing hae-in right then and there-
you, being as innocent as ever, were completely unaware of the ongoing war he and hae-in shared. ever since he first caught sight of you, accidentally bumping into you as he helped you gather your belongings and get you back on your feet-
jinwoo knew that he was a goner.
he spent countless days and even hours following you, knowing that placing his soldiers within your shadow wouldn’t be enough for him.
(it was never enough for him.)
taking advantage of his powers, he made it his life’s mission to remain ever so close to you, doing all that he could to woo you with various gifts while taking you out on various dates-
however, she would always get in the way of him.
each time he purchases a nice bouquet for you, the next minute, he would find it sabotaged and ripped to shreds.
each time he would try to speak to you and ask you out on a date, hae-in would appear at the most inappropriate times and steal you away from him-
a feat that always manages to make his blood burn with hatred for cha hae-in.
he tried to get rid of her; tried numerous times to rip her heart out so that she could never breathe the same air as you ever again-
but he couldn’t do it.
the woman was far too strong-
and her love for you matched with his.
(a fact that he had to admit and accept in a rather begrudging manner.)
he hated how natural and easy it was for hae-in to get closer to you. being a naturally born woman meant that she was able to steal your attention under the guise of being your “sole best friend.”
whereas jinwoo had to use his shadow soldier’s eyes to watch you sleep-
that damn woman had the pleasure of sharing her bed with you each time she held a ‘sleepover.’ and jinwoo could feel such feelings of envy filling him to the brim as he had to bite down on his tongue to contain his rage, nearly tasting the coppery sensation of his blood from how close he was to biting his tongue off-
but he digressed.
despite all odds, sung jinwoo and cha hae-in were evenly matched-
and if he couldn’t obtain you by getting rid of her, then he’d just have to use the element of surprise…
{ … }
you were currently in hae-in’s apartment, laughing while telling stories with her as she began to paint your nails.
to be honest, she was awful at painting your nails, with each paint stroke of polish leaving an obvious streak against the skin surrounding your cuticles. when she finishes with applying the polish on your last nail, you had to fight back a giggle.
“ah, it seems as though i found the gorgeous and powerful hae-in’s weakness… nail polish.”
weak words of protests fall from her lips, but internally she was screaming with unbidden joy. you called her gorgeous! she’s gorgeous to you!
you continue to softly giggle and take her hand, not even bothering to wait for your own polished nails to dry as you slowly showed her how to paint nails in a more neater manner.
“okay, so always try to follow the curve at the end of your cuticles. it takes a lot of practice, but it’s so satisfying once such a perfect color is put on your nails!”
hae-in made tiny sounds of affirmation, seeming to give you random nods here and there. in all actuality, her face was darkened in a deep red hue, feeling ecstatic and on cloud 9 upon feeling your hand holding on to hers.
within just 20 or so minutes, you finished polishing hae-in’s nails, placing a top coat on it so that it could look shiny and dry faster. you admire your work for a few more minutes before letting her hand go-
only to feel your body being pushed against her mattress.
“eh…? hae-in?” your eyes go wide when hae-in looks down at you with glowing, golden eyes. she lets out a purr of your name all while framing at your face with her two hands.
“you know… we’ve been best friends for a while, right?” hae-in gently caresses at your features, her full lips inching ever so closely to you as you could feel her hot breath on your skin.
“ah, yes, we have…”
the gorgeous blond woman lets out a sigh before pressing a kiss against your cheek, an unexpected touch of affection that causes your heart to race uncontrollably in response.
your whisper of her name was filled with anticipation when hae-in leans closer to you. “best friends like you and i need to know each other’s tastes, right…? you would agree with such a sentiment… right my pretty little darling?”
“u-uhm…!” you couldn’t respond, your mind spinning as hae-in leaned closer and closer to your lips, ready to capture them as you clenched your eyes shut-
but the sensation of her kiss never came.
instead, all you felt was the way the air became much colder, causing you to open your eyes as a scream was heard coming from your parted lips.
a tall, looming shadow swiftly brings down a dagger against hae-in, but her senses were too sharp as she captures the weapon with her hand.
a flash of anger twists her beautiful face, her fury evident as she spat out his name “sung jinwoo, don’t you realize how close you were to hurting my darling girl?!”
“SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE HAD YOU STAYED IN PLACE!” jinwoo roars at hae-in, ripping her body away from you as he slams the woman down on the ground.
the polishes fall against the floors of hae-in’s bedroom in the midst of their scuffle, spilling various colors against the hardwood as it stains at them. your heart was racing, seeing the two most powerful hunters in all of existence fighting each other-
fighting for you.
fighting over you.
you kept seeing flashes of gold and purple clashing together, with jinwoo’s daggers trying to pierce at hae-in, yet she manages to parry each of his cuts with her sword.
you had to do something to stop this madness, but all you felt was an overwhelming sense of dread consuming you.
you adored basking in hae-in and jinwoo’s friendship, and you felt ashamed to admit it, but you developed feelings for both of them…
you never wished to lose either one of them, choosing instead to balance on the cusp of friendship and romance with them. it was hard, keeping them always at an arm’s length away-
and now, they were both going to kill each other-
you were going to lose them both if you didn’t do something now.
“jinwoo, hae-in, PLEASE STOP!”
the desperation was heard in your voice, and it echoes throughout the room. as if awakened from a trance, jinwoo and hae-in stopped their attacks on each other, eyes going dreamy as they moved away from each other. an almost longing sigh of your name was heard coming from them as they dropped their respective weapons and crawled toward you.
“oh no, my darling is afraid.”
“she’s so scared of losing me.”
“i love her, i need to comfort her and tell her that everything will be okay.”
“she’s so sweet and cute… i need to comfort her…”
your breathing becomes labored when jinwoo and hae-in both join you on the bed. they continue to whisper about their devotion to you, completely forgetting the fact that they had just tried to kill each other mere seconds before as they both surrounded you.
jinwoo places your body on top of his while wrapping his arms around your frame.
hae-in opts to remain behind you, practically sandwiching you between her and jinwoo as you shivered at feeling both of their bodies so close to you. unable to respond, you could only remain still when jinwoo and hae-in began littering your throat and neck with heated kisses, all while proclaiming their love for you.
rejoice, for you had captured the hearts of the two most powerful hunters in the world!
or perhaps… a warning for you would be more appropriate… since it will be difficult for you to escape from the intensity of their love unscathed…
a.n. - this is such a different story for me to write, but i figured i could pass time completing this story while waiting for my meeting. 。゚(TヮT)゚。 currently unedited, but once it’s posted and my meeting is complete, i’ll go back and make any necessary changes. but for now, enjoy!

incomprehensible slashes and clashes could be heard from the gymnasium.
you stood there, a bit dumbfounded from the sight in front of you. two of the most sought out hunters in the country is having a duel over for your love.
and you were there to witness it, front row and possibly held at gun point.
i can't write fics that well but i can pick up a pen and visualize it 😛 anyway also no dialogue option here

I wanna to peg Sung Jinwoo.
I want to become his twin bro. (If I was born biologically with him then no pegging him but torture (tease) him about his love life for Cha Hae-In.)
I want to tease him. (That's what I said above.)
I want to become Daughter/Son of Antares so I could be with his son, Sung Suho. (Sadly the spoiler gave two new ships for Suho 😔, but still we can make it fanon, right?)
I wanna become older bro of sjw and become Glitch Monarch (ah, OP than Shadow Monarch... yes I am cringe and I don't care. I live with cringe and suffer myself. You should suffer with me with your cringe memories from your past and your delulu 🙄😒 I know I am rude but that's what every Fans and simps are like crazy like me)
I wanna be player and plays SL:Arise just like how @nyashykyunnie made this YandereSJW x Player (Y/n) (this fanfic made me giggle and wants more, and it's my fav tho, also I recommend this user cuz they made many yandere SJW x Reader and it's best.)
I want to become sjw and travels to sjw's world where there is two of sjw (me and him) everyone goes chaos because of two sjws.
I wanna reincarnate into sjw's body and suffer to grow until become strong (follows the plotlines but adds some funny scenes unlike funny scenes from manhwa) and tells Jinah, Cha Hae-In, Ashborn and Woochi Jinchulie (Woo Jinchul) That I am not real sjw but someone in sjw's body hehehe.

Cha Haein: So, how long have you and Jinwoo been dating and how's it been?
(Y/N): Haein, I know we're not in school and this is the holidays but I'll still fire you.
Chae Haein: Okay, just start by how long have you been dating him.
(Y/N): Well, he's been dating me for five year but... I've only been dating him for two.

Love Trial = Requested
[Sung Jinwoo x High School Ex-Lover!Reader]
The Requests ― Part 1 (here) ― Part 2 — Part 3 ― Part 4 ― Part 5

Sung Jinwoo. The Hunter who was praised for his bravery and selflessness, the Hunter who was the embodiment of Cinderella, and the Hunter who was hailed as a hero no matter where he went and how he acted. All because he acted for the good of the people around him, be it former foes or strangers in another country, he protected all. He was humanity’s strongest shield and sword against the dangers of the monsters within the vile Gates.
Yet to you, his shining image was clouded with the shadows that surrounded him. In your memory of him, one stood out more than the rest, more than the good deeds he’s done, more than the joyous memories you made with him.
“I’m sorry. Let’s break up.”
His words pierced your heart and body like no other. The shield you held over your heart was long gone and the walls you built around you long crumbled, all because of the knight in front of you. You can’t say you didn’t expect it, you have and mentally prepared yourself, still… It hurts oh so much.
“I understand. I wish you happiness, Hunter Sung. May your days be nothing of smiles and content.”
And you turned and left to hide your tears. Even knowing that Jinwoo would one day leave you because he was stronger now and would have more and better choices, you craved—clung—to the fantasy that he wouldn’t leave you behind after everything that you’ve done for him. You drank till your body couldn’t handle and your bartender friend called in your reliable friend from back in your college days. You cried in his chest. Why? Why weren’t you a Hunter as well? You could have done more! More for your dearest lover! Maybe then, you wouldn’t be abandoned.
That night was agonizing to live through. It was the worst day of your life. Perhaps, you were in love with the idea of love. You and Jinwoo did fall for the other over some silly comment and gossip from your classmates, then you started seeing the other differently. You two thought they were right and loved each other like actual lovers. How immature of you. Look what that led you?
It took some time, but you recovered with the help of your college friend. He helped more than you could ever thank him for. If he weren’t such a workaholic or that heated up then maybe your heart could have been swayed. Still, you knew for a fact; that you couldn’t—wouldn’t—be in another relationship any time soon.
When the world appeared to be coming to an end, you stared out your apartment window and sighed. Jinwoo must be saying his final farewells to his loved ones; his mother, his younger sister, that brother of a Hunter Jinho, and his new lover Cha Hae-In. It didn’t ache as much now than before when you thought about their official relationship and Jinwoo moving on so quickly while you took your time recovering. Now, you were fine with the time you had for yourself.
Your phone rang and you picked it up without a thought, a voice spoke from the other end. “World’s ending, thought I should check up on you.”
“How nice of you.” You chuckled from your end and retreated back into your apartment and away from the window, “Aren’t you busy with your guild affairs to call me?”
“I can still rest, can’t I? Here I was being nice and now I’m scolded.” You hummed, knowing the man from the other end heard it loud and clear. There was a pause before he continued, “Any regrets? Might as well say it since the world is ending.”
“Why should I tell you?” You meant it as a tease since you two have been close and shared a lot with each other. Way more that people could have confused you two as lovers at some point.
“Think of it as a goal for your next life. I wish we had our silly friendship and that there were no more beasts to fight off so I could work.”
You remained silent for a while. What would you wish for? What was your regret? You glanced over to a corner, you know it was because of the lighting that there was a shadow, but you couldn’t help but be reminded of a certain someone. Your lips moved while your eyes were glued to the shadow, speaking your mind, “I regret having let down my guard for him. I wish… I never met him.”
Whether it was the heavens taking pity on you or cursing you, you can’t tell. The moment you woke up, you were back home and alive. The only difference was that you have shrunk. No. That’s too light of a term. To be more specific, you have turned back to a child. It made no sense whatsoever that it was a dream. A dream too realistic since you could feel the clothes covering your body and the wind against your skin, even smell the familiar cooking of your parents. Not to mention, eat it!
You accepted it as reality when a week passed and nothing changed. You figured that you were reliving your life due to regrets. Or maybe a lot of people had regrets so everyone is reliving their lives right now. Yet you were the only one who seemed to have remembered anything about Hunters and Gates. Well, the moment you realized that, you shut up and said it was all a dream to anyone you asked, a child’s fantasy is wild after all, so none was the wiser.
First things first, though, you had to avoid being in the same high school as Jinwoo. Easy enough as you had another school that was much closer to your apartment now. It was so easy for you to change your future since you were the only one that know what would happen. Cha Hae-In is Jinwoo’s fated lover, so at some point, they’d meet each other and fall in love. No surprise, but you want to be away from that drama.
“Dear! Can you get the door for me?” Your mother’s shout brought you out of your musical trance.
“Yes, mom!” You placed your violin down and hopped onto the couch. Your footsteps pitter-patter through the floor. You reached the door and opened it, knowing the metal fence as the outer door was closed to protect you in case of an attempt at breaking and entering. “Who is it—?!”
The bright red hair and the matching red eyes, you recognize them anywhere. The boy in front of his parents smiled with his head bowed to give his greetings. “Hello! I’m Choi Jong-In, your new neighbour. I’ll be studying at XXXX Middle School if you want,” His closed-eyes smile softened as his eyelids opened again to meet your shocked gaze. “We can walk to school together.”
Words seemed to have been sucked out of your mouth as you stared at the boy. Your parents had come to the door and welcomed the boy inside while you were still in a daze. In the past, you had never met Jong-In this early; you met him when you two were in college and Jinwoo in high school. Perhaps because you avoided meeting Jinwoo, now you met Jong-In. Well, you can’t complain. It was a good change.
“What a coincidence! We go to the same school.” You smiled back and introduced yourself. He repeated your name, and a wave of nostalgia washed over you. And so started your friendship with your former best friend from your past life.
.
.
.
As time passed, days turned to weeks, weeks turned to months, months turned to years. There were no such things as Gates or Hunters or even mana. Everything was just perfectly normal, just as you pleased. You momentarily looked up from your phone at the cluster of people before you stared up into the sky. Your eyes widened as you caught sight of what appeared to be a Gate in the sky. Even after a few moments, nothing happened, and no Hunters were awakened. You couldn’t help but breathe a sigh of relief.
You passed by an ice cream shop and wondered if you should grab a cup of ice cream while waiting for your friends. Your attention was taken away when your phone buzzed and you looked down once more to see what the notification was about. Ah, your friend’s here.
You walked away from the shop and entered the crowd, entirely missing the boy who rushed out of his seat from the window table and tried to catch you. You heard your name being called out, and you went in that direction, finding the redhead waving his hands in your direction. You chuckled and went over to him. “Hey.”
“Hey to you too, let’s get out of here. It’s so crowded.” Jong-In placed his arm around your shoulders and led you away from the crowd.
When you look back up at the sky, nothing happens, and the crowd starts to disperse. As you and Jong-In chatted up a storm, ignoring the chatter around you two, you also didn’t notice how the boy had stared at you longingly with guilt and envy in his eyes while the shadows around him twisted and swirled, reflecting his conflicting emotions.
.
.
.
“Have you heard? That running star, Sung Jinwoo, is going to this college too!”
“I heard! I also heard he’s still single too!”
“You think I got a chance with him?”
“No way. I heard he’s a heartbreaker! Even Cha Hae-In’s no match for him.”
“Aw… That’s crazy.”
You stood up and moved to another seating area with a deadpan emotion. After finding a good seat, you sat down and returned to whatever you were doing on your phone. Up until now, you had been able to predict what happened since that was the point in time that Jinwoo went to become a Hunter. Basically, since high school, you were on your own. You managed just fine because the moment you weren’t in the same school as Jinwoo, it was the same as you never having to meet each other. Even better as it saved you from heartache and unnecessary emotions.
Still. You were beyond confused as to why Jinwoo wasn’t together with Cha Hae-In when they were so lovey-dovey in your previous life. There’s no way you heard it right. Gossip is just that, gossip. It’s never true, and even if some parts are, the majority of them are twisted to match whatever the listener and speaker want to hear or know.
The students in the lecture hall suddenly squealed as they all whispered about the newest student who came in. You glanced up and huffed with a smirk, watching with a teasing look at Jong-In, who was called by men and ladies alike. He was popular, after all. He came to your seat and gave you that gentlemanly smile, “Come on, you free to go now?”
“Geez, not sure. I feel like sitting a bit longer.” You taunted shamelessly.
You watched as his eye twitched and his smile widened dangerously. “Don’t be such a tease. You know we’ll be late for lunch.”
“Lunch is a whole few hours long; we can afford to be late for a few… say… 30 minutes or so?”
At your words, Jong-In immediately started packing your belongings for you, strapping your bag over his shoulders, then pulling you out of your seat and dragging you out of the hall. People all cooed in your direction, some even whistled.
You let him do so until you two were in a more secluded hallway when you spoke up. “You know I was just teasing. Who told you to be so popular?”
“And here I thought having you around me would ward off people…” Jong-In sighed, finally letting you go of your hand. “Sorry for being rough.”
“It’s no big deal.” You shrugged and took back your bag. “So, the confessions are still sky high?”
“Not sky high, but still a number of them.” Jong-In fixed his glasses, raking his hair with his fingers, “Seriously, I just want to focus on my studies and get started on my work!”
You and Jong-In have been close and the best of friends, in the past and current life. In both lives, he was basically married to work, or study at the moment. Jong-In had no want for romance, and you avoided the whole romance thing, so both of you came to the agreement of being a fake couple to ward off other people. Since you two were close enough to do what couples do without feeling romantically attracted to the other, well, nothing like kissing but hand-holding and hugging was acceptable.
Jong-In looked over to you, who was still very much unaffected and chill about everything. The winds seemed to pick up when his words escaped his lips. “What will you do if Sung Jinwoo finds you when I’m not around?”
Your eyes darted to his before you blinked and looked out the window, “I doubt it. Let’s just say I have a strong feeling that he’s making a mistake if he does come to me.” You smiled at Jong-In while your eyes seemed devoid of light. “I’ll just direct him to the right one.” You blinked and, like a switch, returned to normal. “Why the sudden question?”
A finger of his pointed behind you, “Because he’s coming in this direction and I don’t think it’s a coincidence.”
Note: First part out! This request has been sitting in my inbox for a while, sorry it took so long. As you could tell, I had other stories and stuff to do. But it's out! Thoughts, everyone?

Just a though rmb that time u made hae-in and Jinwoo fight for y/n? I just rmbered it randomly and I propose:
Hs Jinwoo and Hae-in both regressing and they're pining for Y/N who used to be a mage/healer/support for them.
Ur local hottest boy in school + The it girl and Track Running champion of another school fighting for y/n's hand
this has been living rent free in my head to the point ive unconsciously drawn it LMAO so art down below if u scrolllll
okay but this concept with an extremely mundane [name]?? hello especially someone who's just trying to get past school with average grades and average effort then maybe with a few volunteering here and there where it's coincidentally being the assistant for the coah in the track and field team.
[name] being known for helping a few people and having an affinity when it comes to patching up people and helping them so volunteer work is just light work for them so they didn't mind as much when the things they do during their time in the track and field team is tossing water to the runners and sometimes fixing them up if they trip or break an ankle. being part of the red cross club last year really helps in these situations.
then [name] meets jinwoo who's the new member in the team and someone who just suddenly transferred to the school, saying it was about his father getting a promotion and they needed to move places.
[name] believes this because everyone has their own situations but it was in fact jinwoo finally finding out what school [name] was in after a few years of trying to search for them then he transferred school, not caring if it's the middle of the school year. of course [name] doesn't know this.
then those two gets closer and jinwoo tries to charm [name] with silly jokes and impressive stamina and speed whenever he's on the field, leaving [name] awe struck. it was obvious to everybody else that the new extremely handsome hotshot of the track and field team had a little thing for the stupidly mundane volunteer who only took the job because they needed something for their community service hours.
just as about this man was gonna ask [name] out the coach of the track and field team announces that now on during after class practices another student from a different school will be attending their training program and blow and behold it's fucking cha hae-in much to jinwoo's dismasy.
hae-in isn't much experienced with this whole regression thing so she's less prepared compared to jinwoo but her persistence and determination just to see her sweet little [name] again what helped her pulled through and landed her here.
hae-in took the program through some connections and begging to her coach to let her train under a different school, claiming it will help her grow and the coach believed her because how can you deny your favourite athlete that's stupidily amazing in the sport? anyway hae-in successfully got into [name]'s school without moving in even if it's not the whole day, seeing [name] was more than enough for her.
that is until she saw her number one rival at the corner, hae-in compares him to a cockroach with how he can't leave her sigh and his sense of fashion that's constantly dark themed. she's low-key pissed that he's here, like just leave her alone and her cutie [name] that's not for him.
[name] spends more time with the two, now hae-in is in the picture. they would help hae-in whenever she would get a sprain and give her tips on what to do to alleviate the pain and get better asap before the regionals or take her out to hang out because it was easier being the same gender. jinwoo is fuminggg at this because it took him like months to do that and for hae-in it took like a measly few weeks?? that's so unfair
suddenly the two get into little competitions with eachother trying to impress [name] and of course they noticed but they don't believe that the two most sought after players in the school or even the region would have a thing for them, they're just good friends.
that drives them insane but it's okay one of them will make you realize it's more than that!! it's just a matter of time and effort you'll be in their arms.
btw imagine after school going out with the two and you guys eat at some street vendor spot then they argue who could pay. they get so distracted with arguing you just pay for yourself as you watch with the street vendor the two fighting.

yandere!sung jinwoo x fem!reader | jd!sung jinwoo x veronica!reader
notes: i fell in love with heathers the film and musical when i watched it a few years ago and have been dying to make an insert loosely based on it. i wasn't able to find the right character to be the j.d. to my veronica!reader-
until now.
this will be my birthday fic for jinwoo, and warnings will be put in place in case you readers wish to skip this story.
summary: wishing to come out of your comfort zone during your university years, you befriend a group of queen bees who seem to rule the campus with their wealthy status and beauty, rendering you to be nothing more than their servant as you are subjected to do their bidding as their unwilling gopher- but that all changes when a transfer student with haunting, grey eyes appears, turning your world upside down in the darkest of ways.
notes + warnings: unedited; dark content; purposeful ooc-ness (out of character) to help with fitting the narrative; power dynamic / bullying; death of major character(s); s-icide mention; suggestive themes; attempts at forced intimacy (not by jinwoo); alcohol use
alternate title: meant to be yours
{ i was meant to be yours | we were meant to be one | i can't make it alone | finish what we've begun | you were meant to be mine | i am all that you need | you carved open my heart | can't just leave me to bleed...! }
cha hae-in was bathed in a golden glow as she walked with confidence throughout the halls of the humanities building. with each step she takes, she catches the attention of numerous male students, with the young woman seeming to bask in such attention as she tosses aside her blonde hair just to give off that added touch.
being the star runner of the university's track team, hae-in had a body that millions of women envied and a personality that was too saccharine sweet to be considered genuine. she shows her kindness in ways that were only fit to benefit her. being the sole daughter- an heiress of a multibillion dollar company, it came as no surprise that she surrounded herself with people who would do anything for her-
which unfortunately included you.
heaving out a sigh, you run a hand through your locks of hair while trailing your gaze away from hae-in and towards the women settled next to her, yoo soohyun and blanche alicia. soohyun worked part-time as a model, while alicia was also an heiress to her family's own company. this is where your 'friendship' with these dazzling young women felt too much like a joke.
you had no special upbringing and would not inherit any riches from your parents. you were simply an ordinary woman who lived an ordinary life, being the sole child of parents who worked normal office jobs. you spent most of your school life hiding in the shadows, making decent grades in hopes of getting into a decent university so you could obtain a decent 9 to 5 job.
that had been your ultimate goal for as long as you could remember-
yet it all seemed to change the moment you turned 18.
you look back on your utterly boring life and felt as though it had been wasted by your apathy. you knew that you were simply going through the motions and felt a bit disappointed in yourself, which was why you made a promise- no, an oath to come out of your comfort zone.
you would enjoy your university years by befriending and associating yourself with people whom you would normally despise, basking in their glory as you would use their status to get into parties and try to... live a little.
which was why you found yourself living in the shadows of cha hae-in and her lackeys for the first semester of your freshman year.
being lost in your own thoughts, you didn't notice the way hae-in had casually slipped behind soohyun and alicia. she takes advantage of your distracted state and casually sticks her slender legs out in front of you-
making you trip as you land unceremoniously against the concrete sidewalk.
the wind was knocked out of you, and you felt your cheeks burning with humiliation. tiny scratches were seen on the palm of your hands from where you had fallen, yet what hurt more than the cuts was how your sense of pride had just been torn apart into smithereens.
"oops, sorry. i guess you were just walking too slow for my liking." hae-in began to giggle before looping her arms together with soohyun and alicia. "well, we're off to our appointments now to get our nails done, and since the salon was all booked up, i wasn't able to make an appointment for you." soohyun's voice was dripping with sarcasm, and you were left to wallow in your embarrassment and misery while fighting off your tears.
as your supposed friends left you behind, you were so caught up in your own intrusive thoughts that you failed to see the startling pair of glowing, lilac eyes taking in your form...
{ ... }
resting your cheek against the window, your eyes stare blankly at the scenery as hae-in began to gossip profusely with alicia and soohyun chiming in.
"i heard hwang dongsoo and kim chul were going to host a party at their fraternity tomorrow night!" soohyun was grinning now, and you swore you could practically hear her purrs of content (acting very much like a spoiled cat who's had her fill of cream). as she rests her cheek against the palm of her hand, you could see the purple ombre hues of her nails.
alicia joins in with her giggles, tossing her hair back while showing off her own perfectly manicured nails painted a baby blue with sparkles. "i honestly cannot wait. dongsoo has quite the reputation when it comes to throwing the craziest parties!"
hae-in simply smiles in response, her hands gripping at the steering wheel as she stopped at a red light. from the glow, you saw that her own nails were painted in a classic french manicure style, the white tips curving along her nails that made her already perfect hands appear even more ethereal.
your hands end up curling into fists, feeling the edges of your own uneven nails form crescent shaped marks against your skin.
as soohyun and alicia continue to rave on and on about the party, hae-in manages to silence them with the mere snap of her fingers. "why be so excited for tomorrow when we can have our own little pre-party tonight?"
alicia's eyebrows furrow as she runs a hand across her thick strands of hair (a motion you had come to realize she would do whenever she felt anxious). "but hae-in, we're only 18. we're not allowed to consume and purchase alcohol until we're of age. that's why dongsoo's party is such a big deal to us."
"oh i know that, but i have no intention of paying for anything." you catch the way hae-in's eyes gleamed mischievously while meeting your horrified gaze from within the mirror, "after all, that's why we have our little wallflower here."
she says your name, coating the syllables with a thick, syrupy sweetness that made your stomach drop with anxiety, "why don't you be a dear and... fetch us some wine coolers at the convenience store?"
before you could answer her, hae-in weaves through the streets with a calculated expertise, quickly approaching the glowing sign of the nearest convenience store before parking her sports car at a corner parking lot. she was grinning at you along with her lackeys, with their voices cooing at you to just do it.
fighting back the nausea, you toss open the back door and slam it shut, clenching your fists upon hearing the sounds of their laughters echoing from within the car. forcing down the anxiety and the impending nausea left in its wake, you enter the convenience store, their automatic sliding doors feeling very much like a death sentence.
the variety of colors seen in the products that decorate the aisles momentarily overwhelms you. your breathing comes out in uneven breaths, shutting your eyes for a few seconds before taking in the scenery. the cashier was a young woman who looked to be around your age, and she was currently focused on a magazine while blowing bubbles with her gum.
okay, perhaps luck was on your side after all. you couldn't get much luckier than having the most distracted person manning the cash register. knowing that you had to act fast, you head toward the back of the store, eyes assessing the drinks that lined the fridges. as you were searching for the wine coolers, you became achingly aware of the store's entrance sliding open as a new customer walks in.
a quiet string of curses escapes from your parted lips as you found the shelves that held all of the wine coolers. opening the fridge, you grab three glass bottles in a variety of flavors, planning to hide them beneath your hoodie when a dark figure seen from your periphery catches your attention.
he was tall-
by far the tallest man you had ever seen, dressed in dark pants and a jet black trench coat. he towers over you with perfect locks of ebony hair and full lips tilted up in a smile, and you found yourself caught within his grey eyes. for a brief moment, you were stunned, unable to say a word when this perfect stranger trails his gaze towards the bottles of alcohol in your hand.
"what do you have there?"
the sound of his voice breaks through your reveries, and you struggled to come up with the right words to say. "uhm, i... this is just- i-i'm just-"
amusement was seen in his gaze when he takes the wine coolers away from your hands. "you have freshman written all over you, sweetheart." he chuckles while holding the bottles close to his side, "let me guess..."
leaning down to reach your height, you had to hold back your shivering when he manages to whisper in your ear, "your friends set you up... they made you steal these bottles, right?"
words failed you as you were unable to respond to him, yet the way you thickly swallowed was damning enough.
"relax, i'm only here to help you, sweet thing." the terms of endearment he kept referring to you with made your knees clash together in response. as if he had hypnotized you, you felt as though you were caught up in a trance, allowing the perfect young man to lead you toward the cashier.
the woman looks away from her magazine, meeting his grey eyes as his charm seemingly made her laziness disappear. she sits straight up in her seat, swallowing her gum in the process as her shaky hands scan the bottles of alcohol. "u-uhm, i need t-to see your i.d. to make sure y-you're of age to purchase these."
truthfully, had you not been so awestruck yourself, you would have laughed at how silly this cashier was behaving.
a rich chuckle was heard coming from the devastatingly handsome man, "but of course." he reaches into the pockets of his pants to pull out his wallet, extracting both his i.d. and a sleek black debit card. from your observations, you knew that his name was sung jinwoo and that he was 20 years old (a mere two years older than you.)
the cashier's gaze lingers a bit too long on his license before shaking her head, "t-thank you so much, sir!" taking his card, she swipes it, allowing the payment to go through before returning them to him. jinwoo thanks the cashier and takes the bags filled with alcohol, walking out of the convenience store with you trailing behind him.
a haughty voice calling our your name makes you stop dead in your tracks. as if sensing your discomfort, jinwoo takes a protective stance in front of you, his cool gaze meeting hae-in. yet whatever annoyance that once twisted her perfect features all but melts upon seeing jinwoo.
trying to act coy now, she brushes aside her golden blonde hair, allowing her grey eyes to morph into a much more seductive look. "oh, who's your new friend?"
a bitter taste fills your mouth at the sight of hae-in flirting with jinwoo, and you felt a strange sense of red hot anger burning through you. somehow, you could already feel the dread making a deadweight settle at the pit of your stomach as you were certain that jinwoo would fall to his knees for her-
so imagine your surprise when he shoves the bag of wine coolers into her unsuspecting hands. "introductions aren't necessary, i know that you're the sole heiress to cha industries."
your eyes go wide upon seeing the shocked look on hae-in's face, with her taking a step back as she struggled to find the right words to say, "w-well, if you know who i am, then that should give you all the more reason to hang out with me..."
she was practically ignoring you, pulling out her claws with every intention of sinking them into jinwoo.
yet he further surprises you the moment he grips at hae-in's wrist, "sorry, but i'm not interested." his smile was achingly polite when he releases hae-in's hand, "i paid for your drinks in full and would like to have..." jinwoo purposely trails off before wrapping an arm around your shoulder. "her as compensation."
"HER?!" hae-in's shrill voice of disbelief echoes throughout the parking lot, her nostrils flaring in response all while refusing to meet your gaze. unfazed by her outburst, jinwoo simply gives her a kind smile before leading you away from her. "if you'll excuse us."
your head felt like it was in the clouds now, your gaze taking in jinwoo as he was nothing short of a savior within your eyes. with your attention solely focused on jinwoo, you didn't see the way hae-in's eyes burned with hatred for you-
how she bit down so harshly at her bottom lip that it was enough to draw blood.
with soohyun and alicia seen hesitantly getting out of her car, hae-in could practically taste something metallic within her lips the moment she sees you getting into jinwoo's sleek vehicle. running on autopilot, she allows her feelings of disdain for you fuel her, calling someone she knew would be all too willing to help with her endeavors. she waits a few seconds, feeling a smile spread through her expression when he picks up on the other line.
"tomorrow, when you see us at the party, i want you to completely ruin this pest for me..."
{ ... }
admittedly, your mind was still spinning the moment you got into the car with jinwoo, your eyes drawn to his hand as he meticulously wove through the streets of the city. knowing that you had to say something to convey how grateful you were to him, you cleared your throat and hesitantly began.
"uhm, jinwoo... what happened back there, just- thank you, for helping me."
he looks back at you from his periphery, grey eyes shining with mirth while giving you a nod and a hum. the silence was deafening as jinwoo continues to drive for a few more minutes before turning into a parking lot. choosing a random spot, he parks the car before shutting off the engine, allowing his keys to swing back and forth as he focuses his attention on you.
"that girl is clearly not a true friend, so why even bother hanging out with her?"
jinwoo's question causes your stomach to sour slightly in response. letting out a shaky breath, you play with the ends of your hair, trying to find the right words to explain your situation to him. gathering your thoughts, you decide to be honest with him. "i've spent most of my life simply breezing through it."
you could see jinwoo lift an eyebrow in response to your words, but keeps quiet, silently beckoning you to continue. "i am an only child, yet had always been mild mannered. i made good enough grades and was able to attend university with some scholarships. looking back at my simple life, something inside of me changed with a desire to... to live a fuller life. that's why... i associated myself with cha hae-in and her groupies to begin with, constantly living in their shadows just for a taste of something more-"
"like parties and stealing alcohol?" there was an almost mocking tone heard within jinwoo's voice, making your cheeks burn with a bit of shame. you couldn't find any words of protests to try and defend yourself, but jinwoo's sudden laughter makes you visibly relax.
"it's okay, i was young and foolish when i was your age too, and that wasn't too long ago." the sensation of his palm gently cupping at your cheek was what made you practically melt into him. he was smiling at you, grey eyes appearing as dark as onyx from beneath the night sky-
only to suddenly flash a glowing, lilac hue for a brief second before returning back to its hue of endless darkness. "if any of them hurt you, come find me."
before you could respond to his command, jinwoo takes out his keys from the ignition while opening the door, "come on, let's go get some ice cream. i found this great parlor not too long ago, and it's located within this exact shopping center."
the promise of delicious ice cream banishes the memory of his glowing eyes and biting words as you got out of his car and joined him, feeling your breathing hitch the moment he takes a hold of your hand and leads you towards the ice cream parlor.
{ ... }
jinwoo's words kept echoing within the confines of your mind, making you lose your focus throughout the day. he had given you his number the night before, yet you were still too hesitant to reach out to him.
you didn't want to seem desperate or needy-
yet the more irrational part of you didn't care.
you wanted to be with jinwoo regardless of the consequences.
with your thumbs poised over jinwoo's name saved on your phone, you were about to give him a call when your phone came to life, alerting you with a call from hae-in. as a habit, you pick it up immediately, letting out a silent string of curses as you answered, "h-hello?"
your name was heard on the other line, void of the prior anger you had witnessed from the night before. "hey it's about time you picked up! you didn't forget about dongsoo's party, right?"
you ignore the pinpricks of anxiety at the mere mention of the party, reminding yourself the reason you had befriended such an awful girl like hae-in to begin with. letting out a shaky breath, you clutch your phone even tighter, "you... aren't mad at me?"
a series of melodious laughter was heard coming from the other line, "you mean what happened last night? please, i can get guys who are more devastatingly handsome than that lanky toothpick. all is forgiven, sweetie, so come meet us all at the frat house, okay? we'll be waiting~"
hae-in hangs up the call, letting you know that she would not accept no as an answer from you. clenching your eyes shut, you take a moment to even out your breathing and strengthen your resolve, jumping out of bed to get ready for the party.
one party-
just one party-
you would take this chance to attend this single party before cutting off all ties from hae-in and her toxic world.
{ ... }
the atmosphere of dongsoo's event was stifling to say the least. the moment you entered the fraternity house, you saw no signs of hae-in or soohyun and alicia. not interested in partaking in any of the debauchery that was bound to happen, you decided at the last minute to simply mingle for a few hours before leaving.
you managed to find a secluded area near the dining room and kitchen, searching for a bottle of water when a booming voice was heard calling your name. stopping your search, you trail your gaze over the general area where your name had been called, only to stiffen significantly upon seeing dongsoo's towering figure making his way towards you.
"there you are, babygirl, been lookin' everywhere f'you." his massive arm captures your wrist in a tight grip, making the panic set in as he pulled you away from the kitchen and towards the stairs. "where are you taking me? let me go!" you attempt to pull your arm away from his grip, but he was too strong, practically dragging you along.
your heart was pounding, its palpitations nearly choking you as the anxiety and adrenaline courses through your veins. your pleas for help goes unnoticed as they were drowned out from the music and hundreds of people conversing and laughing together. your deepest fears were confirmed the moment dongsoo finds an empty bedroom, slamming the door shut before locking you within the room with him.
"y'know, y'don't look half bad... you're pretty in that stuck up type of way..." you tremble, nearly gagging when you could smell the powerful scent of vodka wafting off of him. a shudder of disgust runs down your spine when you felt his wet tongue lapping at your skin. tears of desperation were streaming down your face now, and in a latch ditch effort to get this fucking pig away from you, you gave his abdomen a swift kick.
thanks to his inebriated state, dongsoo immediately falls to the ground, letting out a grunt before vomiting his brains out just seconds later. the scent of bile reaches your nostrils, causing you to recoil before unlocking the door, making a mad dash out of the room.
tears kept streaming down your face, and you were solely focused on getting out of this place when a flash stops you from moving forward. you look toward the direction, only to see three familiar girls with their phones aimed at you, taking what had to be a plethora of pictures.
"hehe, say cheese sweetie!"
with hae-in's words echoing within the depths of your mind, you shove through the crowd and manage to escape from the house party. your sobs echo throughout campus as you blindly searched for a way home.
due to your tears nearly blinding you, you didn't see the dark figure that suddenly appears in front of you, causing you to crash against a hard chest as a voice calls out your name. "hey hey, calm down, it's just me...! what happened?"
you were still sobbing when jinwoo was felt framing at your cheeks, eyes filled with concern for you as he takes in your bloodshot eyes and face damp with tears, "what happened? who hurt you?"
all you wanted to do was forget, clinging to the front of jinwoo's coat while burying your face within his chest, "n-no, don't make me t-talk about it! i-i just want to forget, j-jinwoo, just please, take me away."
needing no further urging from you, jinwoo takes you in his arms and begins walking, keeping you pressed against his chest. surrounded by his warmth and the faint scent of his cologne, you felt safe and protected in his embrace, not daring to let him go even as he unlocked the door to what you assumed was his dorm.
pressing gentle kisses against your hair, jinwoo takes steady strides within his dorm room, leading you towards his bedroom while placing you on top of his mattress. he was about to tuck you in and let you rest when the sensation of your arms wrapping around his neck halts his movements. your tears had finally dried now, and you wanted nothing more than to have jinwoo-
"stay." you tell him in hushed tones, tightening your arms around his neck, "please stay."
letting out a groan of your name, jinwoo remains hovered over you, pressing a deep kiss against your lips before descending upon you. how you found yourself so intimately intertwined with jinwoo was a mystery. one moment you were basking in the sensation of experiencing your first kiss with him-
and the next, you felt him piercing through you, your bodies tangled together in a dance of intimacy that takes your very breath away. never once did jinwoo stop kissing you, feeling his hands caressing at your skin in such a reverent manner that takes your very breath away.
time became a lost concept to you when jinwoo finally lays beside you, wrapping his powerful arms around your waist before bringing you closer to his naked chest. pressing another lingering kiss against your temple, you felt your walls slowly crumble in response when you decided to tell jinwoo what had happened during the party.
"i think hae-in had every intention of using dongsoo to hurt me tonight... to hurt me in... immeasurable ways."
jinwoo tightens his arms around you, and you could hear the way his breathing becomes even more labored in response to your confession. you take his silence as a means to continue, wishing to soothe his concerns, "but i was lucky. dongsoo was nearly blacked out drunk and i was able to fight him off of me and escape."
"so you ran out of the house and into me." jinwoo finishes your story through gritted teeth, earning a nod from you. "y-yes... so despite how fucked up it was, i'm okay... i'm okay."
you didn't even realize that you had began crying again until jinwoo wiped the tears from your eyes, focused solely on comforting you as he takes you even deeper into his embrace. while he comforts you, jinwoo was able to distract you from the wisps that escapes from jinwoo's growing shadow, not even seeing the glowing lilac quality of his eyes while he silently commanded his soldiers to do his bidding-
all for your sake.
{ ... }
the party had ended when dawn came as hae-in walks with her friends back to her car. she giggles, basking in the memory of your teared stained face while taking another swig of alcohol from the glass bottle.
"that'll show that bitch for daring to make a fool of me!" hae-in twirls around soohyun and alicia, basking in their giggles while taking turns drinking from the same bottle of alcohol.
as their laughter continues to echo throughout the area, they remained blissfully unaware of how their shadows lengthened, revealing three ant-like monsters from the depths. hae-in was the first to react, feeling the strands of hair stand from the back of her head when she turns around to face the looming figure.
it was over before she could even scream as the scent of blood thickens within the horizons.
{ ... }
with jinwoo by your side, you felt like you could finally face hae-in and cut ties with her for good. by some miracle, you were able to go through the motions of your day, finishing up your classes with jinwoo texting you during your free time.
it was now late in the afternoon, and you were waiting with bated breath outside of your university's cafe. jinwoo remains by your side with a bored expression on his face, taking casual sips of his coffee before speaking to you,
"i thought you said that hae-in usually gets her lunch here?"
"she does." you tell him with a sigh, getting out your phone as you looked at the text you sent a few hours ago to come and meet you. yet it remains unread even now.
is it possible that she could have blocked you?
where could she be?
not only had your texts remained unread and unanswered by hae-in, but by soohyun and alicia as well.
"what is going on?" you ask no one in particular, yet still received an answer from jinwoo.
"come on, we've been waiting here for thirty minutes, and it's clear that they're not going to show up." jinwoo was standing in front of you now, hands lovingly framing at your face before leaning down to press a kiss against your forehead, "perhaps they wanted to enjoy a trip away from campus or something, using their connections to get some free time?"
you end up smiling upon hearing his explanation. after all, it made perfect sense to you, and it was something you could see hae-in pulling off with ease. giving jinwoo a nod, you loop your arms together with his, "lead the way, jinwoo. i'm starving and could use something delicious and hearty to eat."
basking in his rich chuckles, jinwoo places another kiss against your hair while grinning down at you, "and i think i know the perfect place."
{ ... }
three months had passed, and you failed to even realize that they were missing-
that hae-in, soohyun, alicia, and dongsoo had not been seen ever since the night of the party.
investigators had flooded the university with questions of when they had last seen the group, yet the copious amounts of alcohol they had consumed during such an event made their memories hazy as to what had happened that night.
with zero leads and the case steadily turning cold, the authorities were pulling at the seams for any clues with each prestigious family breathing down their necks to find their beloved children-
yet you remained blissfully unaware of their respective absences, basking in your newly found life of peace while remaining by jinwoo's side, trapped in a rose-colored lens as you failed to see the lingering darkness that trails behind jinwoo with each step that he takes.
{ ... }
despite only dating for a few months, when jinwoo asked you to move in with him, you said yes to such an offer with zero hesitation. the only thought that ran through your mind was how much you wanted to be with jinwoo, filling your days with daydreams of how jinwoo would spoil you as you woke up next to him.
with the boxes of your belongings unpacked, you trail your gaze towards your boyfriend's own boxes. none of them had yet to be unpacked, and jinwoo had even strictly told you to let him deal with it-
to never open any of those boxes as he would take care of unpacking his own belongings.
yet you, so stupidly in love with him, wanted to be a good girlfriend and help out your lover in some way. ignoring his own words, you unpack one of jinwoo's boxes at random, slicing open the tape with your scissors only to suddenly freeze in response.
settled within the box were some clothes stained a deep red, the faint scent of iron wafting off of the fabric causes the bile to travel up your throat. your hands were shaking, picking up what appeared to be a slender dress in what was once a champagne gold in hue. your mind immediately goes back to the horrific night of that party all those months ago-
with your mind painting a vivid image of hae-in wearing this exact dress.
what felt like ice courses through your veins, turning your body cold as you shivered in response to the sudden revelation. you didn't need to further explore the contents of the box to know that soohyun, alicia, and dongsoo's bloodstained clothes were tossed haphazardly into the box as well.
there was a sudden shift in the air as you felt the sensation of jinwoo's hands releasing your tight grip on hae-in's ruined dress. "i thought i told you to leave the unpacking to me?" jinwoo's voice was heard softly cooing in your ear, his tone void of any malice as they dripped with adoration for you.
"but i suppose i can't hide it from you any longer." he sighs, taking your limp form into his lap while burying his face within your shoulder. "you know i had to do something to all those people that hurt you, right? you know how much i had fallen for you when i saw you at first sight?"
your body trembles in response to his confession, making you dimly aware of his words when he lets out a sigh, "i didn't think anything would happen the moment i transferred here, yet... the sight of you was enough to bring me to my knees. i had seen you trailing behind those rotten women with your head bowed low, had seen how they saw you as something meant to be forgotten."
his reverent touch was felt against your hair now, with his lips trailing down your temples before pressing a lingering kiss on your skin, "i knew then that i had to claim you as my own, to somehow protect you from their selfishness."
jinwoo's breathing becomes ragged now when you felt him gripping at your chin, "when you came to me that night, running straight into my arms with tears running down your face, i had seen what they had done to you. i had every intention of killing each and every one of them a painful death from how they had wronged you-
but the sight of your crying face stopped me... and i chose to comfort you instead; keeping you in my arms while allowing them to disappear by other means."
there was a crazed expression seen glimmering within jinwoo's eyes, with those irises flashing violet as his hands continue to frame at your face, "so i got rid of them with the intention of staging their deaths as mere suicide, just to protect your happiness- just to protect your peace. you understand where i'm coming from, right? that i did it all for love- that i did this all for us."
your lips remain parted when jinwoo finishes his confession. you knew that this man wasn't normal, that he was a monster you had foolishly fallen for. you knew that he was capable of destroying you, or taking your life away with a simple snap of his fingers-
yet there was a single thought that runs through your mind, repeating itself over and over again in a neverending mantra-
for how could you ever reject a monster who loves you so deeply?
knowing what you were getting yourself into, you lean closer to jinwoo to capture his lips in a searing kiss-
sealing your fate with jinwoo as you willingly tied your life together with his.
end notes: lmao this totally wasn't inspired by the indie horror film piggy either lmaooo what do you mean??

Oh to be the Reader
(this will be the pov of the female lead, Cha Hae-In)
Pairing: Sung Jinwoo x GN! Reader
Fuyuu-chan: i got writer's block, so sorry for the late post. (inspired by one of the reels i saw in instagram lol) i actually planned on doing this fic on sylus but i feel like this suits jinwoo more
✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧

Cha-Hae In was just a character from a novel, a webtoon, along with everyone else. She herself knew this, she is aware of the gaze of the reader who reads this novel. And she is sure Jinwoo does too, with the way he always spaceout looking up. As if looking to the reader, and this always happen, especially when he is with her.
Whenever Jinwoo does something to Cha, the reader would always squeal or smile with delight just because of how Jinwoo act as being a romantic. And...Jinwoo would always smile looking up as if he got the approval of the reader.
Cha hated it. If Jinwoo likes the reader, why must he use her or be with her?? Why just show things or be affectionate to her just to impress the reader on how he treats his lover? Doesn't he know he is hurting her?
Besides Cha also felt jealous, she is the female lead of the novel after all so shouldn't she be with the male lead? She is destined to be with Jinwoo. She might be in a relationship right now with him but...his attention was solely focused on the reader all the time. Like...his heart belonged to them and not with her.
She doesn't get it, at all. She was supposed to be happy with him, right? .... So what happened?? What changed?
.
.
.
As time pass by, Cha got to accept the fact that Jinwoo's heart would never be for her.
But she was so tired of it all. Cant Jinwoo just spare her the trouble? At least give her some mercy.
Maybe if the reader was in her place, Jinwoo would finally be happy...she just wanted to be out of this.
Cha knew she would never be like the reader anyway. She would never get Jinwoo's genuine affection, how his eyes soften more when he looks up, how he always seeks the reader's approval by his actions based on how they react to that.
She already knew her fate had changed. She just had to come terms with this situation...but is she selfish on wishing she could be free and happy? She wanted to feel loved too...even if it wasn't from Jinwoo.
Maybe, just maybe....if reader could just come in this world, she would be out of this miserable life.

˗ˏˋ Loveless Marriage Au: Jinwoo x Reader ◛⑅·˚ ༘ ♡ ˎˊ˗

╰┈➤ ❝ [ I've always hid everything from you; and for that, I hate myself a lot ] ¡! ❞
There was an awkward air around the two of you due to the fact that it was an arranged marriage. It was a loveless union with the two of you.You had been there, you know how Jinwoo rose from being a placeholder to the world's most hailed hunter. And he had a secret, a secret that was you— His wife that he kept hidden from everyone else "I'm back" Jinwoo said as he went inside your shared apartment, his gaze as languid and empty like always. He felt cold, cold like he always had been.
You expected it in a way, after all, you're both arranged by your parents for some reason and even now you still treat each other like a pair of strangers just forced to share a house.
When he was an E-ranker, Jinwoo still had some courage to talk with you no matter how awkward and shy he gets. But after his accident in one E-ranked dungeon— There was a visible shift in the air around the both of you.
Jinwoo started to feel more distant. The more he grew, the more handsome he became— He felt more distant.
It was as if he was a star gleaming in your lonely dark sky, a star so close and yet so far.
Many times you tried to get his attention, but the blank look on his face made your heart shut down and end up avoiding him instead.
As he rose to fame, you became proud of him. Wanting to extend your congratulations but never got the chance since he is always busy with work or running off somewhere for some reason.
With the limelight shining directly on top of his head. The world is now aware of all his glory and his perfections.
His perfect grey eyes that are seemingly plucked from the finest jewels, his once childish and wimpy face had seemingly gone through such puberty that he is now a complete man, his features are perfectly angled, his demeanour of being distant added more to his allure.
With that spotlight came the eyes of many people, eyes that either praised him, hated him, but most importantly,... Eyes that yearned to have him as theirs.
It was fine at first since you had expected it.
But the more people loved Jinwoo, the more insecure and lonely you would get.
It was slowly eating at your head. Clawing your already insecure heart.
But why are you throwing a tantrum like this anyway? After all, you and your husband aren't even meeting eye-to-eye literally and figuratively.
When was the last time you two had ever sat down for a meal together?
Have you ever been on a date anyway?
Honeymoon? Never.
Jinwoo has never touched you affectionately, the only time he ever kissed you was in your wedding ceremony.
But even then that kiss was forced by both of you, maybe Jinwoo had secretly wiped his lips off when you weren't looking at the time.
You're not even sleeping in the same room.
Why are you being selfish when you are not the apple of his eye?
What are you trying to prove here?
⋅ ˚ ₊ ‧ ଳ ‧ ₊ ˚ ⋅ ⋆ ౨ৎ ˚ ⟡ ˖ ࣪
As you sulked on the couch, the tv was on and playing the live interview that Jinwoo is currently on.
You listened attentively as Jinwoo was asked questions and answered. You can't help but chuckle bitterly whenever you hear stuff you never knew about Jinwoo.
It made you feel more pathetic, more disgusted at yourself, more hateful at the fact that you’re not a worthy wife since you don’t even know the most basic thing about your supposed husband.
As you felt yourself sinking into your own depression— You heard a question that made your heart drop in an instant:
“So, hunter Sung,” The host muses politely with an excited grin on their face.”When do you plan to court Miss Cha Hae-in?”
Your hand instinctively reached for the remote beside you and turned off the tv.
You didn’t want to hear his answer. You knew the answer and you didn’t want to know if you were correct or what. You don’t want to know whatever the hell he’s going to say.
Of course,
You should have expected this in the first place.
His embrace was never for you in the first place. Your connection was nothing more formed from a crudely tied knot that is tangled pathetically. It was obvious that the threads were tied when they shouldn’t be in the first place.
Jinwoo’s affections were never bequeathed upon you, because it suits to be bestowed on someone as great as Cha Hae-in herself. After all, she is a brilliant saintess that everyone adored.
Everything about her is simply perfection.
Pretty, strong, a kind soul, and most importantly a strong hunter who can fight alongside Jinwoo in dire times.
You? What are you in all that?
That person’s adorations that you yearn so much can never be bestowed upon your pitiful soul. The only thing you can ever receive from him are empty grey orbs that seemingly wrap you around in sharp vines. That distant and cold look prickle at your skin and mostly at your heart that has already been scarred with this loveless bind.
The more you love him, the more painful everything is. Living with your unreciprocated yearning was clawing at your very being. It was as if you were running in a black void barefoot with nowhere to run to. You’re only reaching your hands out into the empty abyss ahead of you with some semblance of hope that maybe someone would reach out and yank you out of the darkness you have drowned in for so long.
A part of you wished those hands would be your beloved’s, that it would be Jinwoo’s hands tenderly holding your cold palms.
That maybe for once his tender voice would grace your ears. That for once you could call him your husband.
But even with your wishes, all you have are your meaningless daydreams and prayers.
Day by day, you endured all the wounds that are carved out into your pathetic beating heart.
As your eyes glistened with tears, you choke up in all your pent up sadness and sob into the air with all your heart.
Perhaps your pain is from the fact that your head has been hurting all day despite taking medications already. But now, with the added misery of knowing you don't deserve your husband makes you more depressed.
You just wanted to disappear completely.
You wanted to rip your heart out so that you could no longer feel the painful ache in your chest.
You yearned for the sweet release of subjecting yourself into eternal sleep.
As you cried your heart out, you suddenly felt a pair of unfamiliar arms wrapping around your frame.
Your eyes wouldn’t process everything for a while until they eventually did adjust.
Once your eyes cleared, you could see some ebony black locks from your view. As that image translated in your eyes, your nose would catch a waft of a distinctive aroma that you can’t quite describe. It was somewhere between a floral sound and something that you can't quite put a finger on since it’s so unique on it’s own.
“Sssh” A familiar voice hushes you, “It’s alright, it’s alright”
It would only register that it’s the person you’ve been missing after a few more rubs at the back of your head.
It was Jinwoo himself.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry,” Jinwoo apologises over and over again as he buries his lips on the side of your head. “It’s all my fault, it’s all my fault.”
Why was he apologising anyway? He kept saying a strand of sorries and all that and it made you cry your heart out even more.
Jinwoo would feel a tug in his chest, a type of pain he didn’t want to have but he knew deserved because of the pain he was putting you through.
He had never been honest with you, he never tried to ever grow close to you. Instead, he just pushed you away.
He had all the power he had, he had all the money and fame and yet in the face of your broken sobs and tear-streaked features— He became utterly powerless and helpless.
“Look at me, look at me” Jinwoo coaxes you ever so lovingly as he swipes your strands off of your pretty face. “Please look at me”
His gentle begging eventually caught your attention enough to finally see his gaze again.
The normally empty grey orbs were now uncharacteristically warm and sweet, with a bit of trembling in his look in which he tries to mask off.
“I’m not going anywhere, I’m not courting anyone.” Jinwoo says firmly but sweetly. “I’m not going with her, she’s just a colleague. Nothing more nothing less.”
You wanted to ask Jinwoo how he knew that, but your words were instead swallowed up by your sobs and making you babble out incoherent things.
But even with your messy expressions, Jinwoo was still patient with you and instead pressed your foreheads against each other.
“I never…” Jinwoo sighs, taking a deep gulp as he starts to explain his size of the story.
He wanted to end the misunderstandings once and for all.
“I never hated you, it’s my fault for treating you like trash for the past years instead of adoring you like a proper husband, and instead I was blinded by my job and entirely lost sight of you” He takes a heavy sigh, the tone of his voice completely remorseful of his actions. “But that doesn’t justify how much of a jerk I am towards you. For that, I’m sorry. I’m so… So Sorry— And no.”
Jinwoo suddenly butts in, interrupting your words. “Just because we are married by paper doesn’t mean I have the right to treat you the way I did. Please, please don’t ever… Ever… Look down on yourself because of this. I'll always choose you regardless of who the world offers to me in a golden platter. I'll choose you.”
He gently swipes his thumb over your cheek, wiping away the pearl-shaped tears adorning your precious face.
“How about we start again, hm?” Jinwoo suggested with a loving smile on his handsome features as he stretched his palm out, revealing a pair of rings with brilliant gemstones that gleamed as it illuminated with the touch of light, “This time, I’ll stop being a jerk around you. Let’s start slow and steady, I won’t hide things from you anymore I promise. That is,... If you are willing to try again with me?”
When you nod your head in agreement, Jinwoo smiles gently before slipping the ring into your finger and leaning down to kiss it— As if he was casting a spell or some sort.
Or maybe he is making a quiet promise that from now on, he will clear your mind of any sort of doubt of anything regarding that you are undeserving of your position as his wife.
Jinwoo tugs you closer to his chest, letting you cry into his chest more while his fingers return to playing with the back of your head.
“So, hunter Sung,” The host muses politely with an excited grin on their face.”When do you plan to court Miss Cha Hae-in?” “... A wife.” Jinwoo mutters, his fists balling up as his jaw clenched from both anger and the shamelessness of the question. “Pardon?” The host blinks, confused at Jinwoo’s words before “Ah so do you—” “Don’t force words into my mouth.” Jinwoo says strictly, his grey eyes gleaming a terrifying colour of violet. “I said, I have a wife waiting for me at home. And that person is not the respectable Miss Cha Hae-in.” “Mr Sung I—” The host was once again interrupted by Jinwoo’s words. “I would appreciate it if hosts such as yourself stop forcing your rumours onto people like me” He says, with his patience growing even thinner the more he spends time on this couch that isn’t even comfortable to hang out on. “May I remind all of you that I am not a celebrity to be hailed and fawned over, I’m a hunter and I’m only here for formalities. I’m not here to satisfy your goddamn thirsts for drama.” “My lord,” Igris’s voice calls to his master urgently. “Your wife…” “What’s going on?” Jinwoo replies immediately telepathically. “My liege’s beloved is currently unstable and crying uncontrollably” Igris explains “They are currently viewing this… Show of some sort but turned off the screen after the question has been asked.” Jinwoo’s heart dropped at Igris’s report. His expression was pale as white as a sheet as the hunter stood up. “If you’ll excuse me, I have somewhere else better to go than wasting my time here” Jinwoo says, immediately disintegrating into the shadows to teleport to where his lover is. Though normally teleporting takes just a fraction of a second— That fraction suddenly felt like an eternity as his mind raced. His worries for the past few weeks have finally manifested into full fruition. He knew that his fame was both beneficial and detrimental to his already nonexistent relationship with his wife. His wife who had always been there. Despite not exchanging any words with each other, his wife had always stuck by his side. He gave them the choice to leave and have a better life. And yet, they had stayed with him. They have seen him at his worst, their faith in him unmoving like a steady mountain. Yet, he has never once reciprocated their devotion. He mostly shied away from trying to make a move on them. He had long been planning to start a conversation with them, to ask if they would give them a chance to actually fix their relationship as a couple. Jinwoo had prepared rings too, he found the stones in an S-ranked gate and thought that his wife must like it and commissioned a jeweller to make matching wedding rings with stones. He wanted something elegant and simple, just like his wife. His beloved that never asked him for anything, his wife that never threw a tantrum towards him. Jinwoo often wished his wife was more selfish, he wished they would demand things from him, he wished that his wife could yell at him and tell him things instead of walking on eggshells around each other. He craved to have a connection with them. Jinwoo badly wanted to be affectionate with his beloved.
And now having them in his arms, he felt both victorious and an odd mix of sadness. He held you closer to his chest, cradling and kissing the crown of your head. He loves you so much that he wants to rip everyone to shreds because of this moment but he also wants to just hold you closer to his own chest.
All you have to do is ask really, you just have to tell him what you want and he would have heads rolling at the tip of your feet. That host that dared to ask that question, maybe he should murder that bastard for causing you to wail like this.
However, that bastard also helped in opening this situation that the both of you needed to have.
“Huuu….” Jinwoo sighs, leaning his head back on the wall before kissing your temple over and over. “I’m here now, so don’t worry. I’m going to love you the way I should have been from the start, I’ll pamper you so much so that you’ll become a spoiled brat. Even if you throw things at me, I don’t care. I’ll rip my chest open and offer you my heart because you are my wife. Whatever you want me to do, I will do it”
