I am going to be very, VERY upset if Hades is soft with Mel and still a backhanded bitchbag to Zagreus. He had better not blame ANY of Chronos' shenanigans on him.

Zagreus is such a good bean, he did so many nice things for his friends and adoptive family, he fucking reconciled his parents. If Hades is softer with Mel from the start ... I don't know, the idea just utterly breaks my heart. Zagreus deserved love and softness from his father, he only got some respect once he literally fought and died and suffered and struggled and did the impossible.

Yes yes, I get it, themes of paternal struggle and sins of fathers passing to sons. I know. I know Mel will have her own scars too. I am not saying she doesn't also deserve Hades and Persephone's love.

I guess what I am saying is please god Hades show you love your son. If you do. Or if you don't, don't show you might like your daughter more.

Hephaestus was the best godly blacksmith and he made all the jewelry, clever mechanisms, armors and weapons for fellow deities. But to produce such beautiful masterpieces, he needed a lot of gems, stones, gold and other metals and those belonged to Hades, as wealth hidden underground was one of his domains. Does that mean Hades provided the needed and precious materials for his nephew and in wider perspective, to his family living at Olympus?

Or maybe there is any myth out there explaining from where Hephaestus get all the needed materials for his blacksmith work?
