Ok i finished the first page of that disney thing and I'm gonna post it here bc i want feedback (also it's literally fanart of this fanfic, i did not come up with this dialogue lmao)

first off i know this is formatted terribly lol, i have always drawn my self indulgent comics like this bc i normally draw on paper and it saves space, and since I'm not posting them, I'm never worried about readability, so i do apologise for how tiny the top row is (that's why i replaced my handwriting with text)

what i want to know is, are the pictures too small? is it annoying having to zoom in to read each panel? I'll change how i format the rest of the pages so they're easier to read and understand, but should i retroactively change this first page, too? Or is this format completely fine, and im overthinking things as per usual? any other feedback is welcome, too ;^^

They threw a little of 1997 Hercules’s Hades into some of these Hades lines and I can’t say I blame them.

Beseeching (Hades [Disney] x Reader):

You sprang through the bushes, sending leaves and twigs flying in all directions trying your hardest not to look back at your quarry. You were panting hard, if you weren't such a magical creature then you would have been completely out of breath but somehow the little breath you had left kept you running. Your legs were aching a little but you needed to find a way out before you were caught. 

You then made the mistake of looking back to see the raging manticore was behind you; still doing his best to catch up with you. 

Shit! 

You put on a big burst of speed with your dryad strength and bounded over the river. You stumbled a little as you hit the landing and then continued with your sprint. You cast back another glance to see the manticore had easily caught up with you now only metres behind you. Panic seeped in your veins. You needed to escape.

Wait! 

“Hades!” you screamed as you leapt far over a fallen oak tree. “Please, I beseech you. I need you! Help ME!” 

As soon as you finished your rushed prayer, a ringing noise filled your ears. Not like bells but something else, like you had lost your hearing slightly. The air around you suddenly grew warm and then hot. A burst of fire exploded behind you making you stumble and fall. You landed hard on the ground with a grunt and looked back to see what had caused the sudden implosion. A tall, dark figure with bright blue flames for hair stood before you. Smoke curling around the feet. Hades had arrived. The manticore came to a screeching halt, stopping just in time. A fireball began to curl itself into manifestation in the god’s pale grey-blue hand. 

“Never.” he hissed. “Touch. My. Girl. AGAIN!” 

With the final word, he threw the fireball with one swift throw and it hit the manticore, hard in the face. The hybrid creature shrieked at the impact and leapt off and away into the darkness of the woods, snarling. 

Hades turned and looked at you in concern. “You okay, babe?” 

“Y-y-yeah. I think-think so.” 

He swooped down downwards you with a blur of smoke and brought you into his arms bridal style. “Next time, let me go with you.” 

“I will.” you agreed as he turned and teleported back to the Underworld 

He did not let go of you for the rest of the day.

I’ve been so focused on Hades coming to Dreamlight Valley that I didn’t even notice this outfit from one of the teaser pics for the expansion lol!

They got a freaking Hades gladiator outfit!!!! How cute is that!!??

I love that it has that Greek triangle pattern that Hades has on his chiton! And omg the BLUE! It’s so pretty! I wonder what that’s made of??? Dragon scales or feathers maybe? It’s looking more like scales to me though lol (Maleficent better watch out LMAO)

No doubt as soon as I get this fit I’m probably never taking it off my character 😂 as for Persephone when she gets this in her playthrough? Well, we’ll see lol, maybe she’ll wear it just to humor him since it’s a gift ☺️💙🩷

A lot of people have theorized that this outfit is gonna be Hades’ level 10 friendship quest gift and I agree since most elaborate outfits based on characters come from level 10 friendship quests lol (like Donald, Daisy, Moana, Anna, etc.)

I have the sneaking suspicion that he gives you the outfit as a gift after level 10 when you finally become his “minion” since the showcase mentions him wanting the player to become one of his minions lol (little does he know I want to be his girl instead 🤣)
