“ you should listen to your spouse. we wouldn’t want the lacking general to get a knot on her head after getting defeated by a mere cup of wine, hm? “ jing yuan advises casually before clearing his throat. he takes a long sip of his wine. you pinch the bridge of your nose because of his mocking comment.

“ haahhhh? “ feixiao glared angrily at the man before raising her foot, and slammed her heel down on the table, sending it flying in the air. did this man just purposely provoke feixiao? you can’t even call him petty at this point because she was the one who destroyed his property the last time he saw her.

“ let’s take this outside, jing yuan! just because my dear lover is here. . .doesn’t mean. . .i won’t. . “ feixiao trails off sleepily, losing her footing and falls sideways. luckily, her head lands safely on your lap, body stretched out perfectly on the tatami mat. you sighed in great relief, stroking her head as she sleeps soundly. “ you knew she’d do this which is why you made that comment earlier, huh? “

jing yuan simply smiles at you, the smug look evident in his golden hues.

“ not exactly. but i’ll say this, i forgive but i don’t forget. “

If the Tsukutabe main 4 were in a magical girl setting, what do you think their magical motif(s)/weapons would be? For instance I’m picturing Nomoto with a bit of a chef motif and a ladle weapon that summons a soup tidal wave.

Well, let's see. I mean, Nomoto WOULD be the chef-looking one. That's a given. Love the ladle, maybe she has a frying pan, too!

I think Kasuga could have a minor chef theme going on hers, too, as she CAN cook, she just loves to eat more. Her moves are more powerhouse-y, like big ol helpings of PAIN (bread! no actually I mean hurty-pain lol). Eggs have to play a part in Kasuga's moveset and/or outfit motif, too. Her weapons would be a giant fork and knife because she's the Eater.

Nagumo could have a drink theme that has this opposite appearance to the other two. Maybe it feels like a barista or something lol. She's the one they find later and has trouble joining at first (aka the phobia) And, I'm not sure how far you're into the story in the manga (though the drama did touch up on it, too), but maybe - just maybe - she has a power-up finisher that ends up being food-related as well(?) as she works on her personal struggles, anyway. OR she can join in later for a group finisher that's all about the food! A full course meal finisher!

Yako, I see as the mentor. She can be a little fairy who is seen sipping wine here and there and gets REALLY passionate about what this group's mission is and what evil they're vanquishing or whatever. If the idea of a fairy Yako is a little too much, she can be, like, a retired magical girl. Something happened long ago that messed her up bad but now she's trying to make sure these ladies can continue that mission of whatever this power is based on. She's the one with the secret HQ and always brings snacks and tools to the parties meetings and is amazed at the skills and abilities these ladies have. But she is there to guide them whenever they need advice.

Then they meet Steve, (who is Cap America) and is on the run after being kicked out of the Avengers for his affinity for young boys. Steve helps Bucky improve his self-esteem and they all have a very good time with little Zemo.
