I will never shut up about how unique and thrilling the flying stingray fight was but Vaati had three different phases that were super fun too (even if getting there was hard enough with the timed darknuts fight). So it’s 50/50 for me. All these bosses were so good except the big octorok, I never could figure out a good strategy for that one

Edit: How could I forget the Gleerok fight with the cane of pacci? That one was also so fun too aghhhhh MC just has so many good bosses

Parallels between these two and their battles (from @rinja-espurr's fantastic reblog):

Big scary floating face -> tall lanky guy who spends the phase running around in a silly manner -> a climactic final showdown

The previous four bosses are utilized in some way (Pizzahead summons them for the 3rd phase, and during Majora's first phase the masks of the bosses come to life to attack you)

The music goes from ominous to chaotic to intense over the course of each phase

Their second phases have random and/or unpredictable movement/attack patterns

I can't be the only one who sees it, right?

Look I know we normally use fanfic to fix like, major problems in canon or fulfill our wildest dreams or whatever. But can I please reject the specific piece of canon that there are no fish in the whole Great Sea?
