What was Monarch reaction as a whole find out that Kafka is Skullcatcher? And the fact that he is also, for the most part, living among humans peacefully? And the boss and owner of the Monster Sweepers?

It most have been quite the shock. Especially since Kafka don't really act like typical kaijus does in most universes.

Kafka(Skullcatcher) is a very major name to Monarch.

The first sighting being on Skull Island 1978 as he prevented multiple deaths of the unprepared(also tricked) expedition crew whether it be from Kong or the native monsters living there. Although the reports about him talking were scrutinized back then and eventually scrubbed by incompetent.

Next major sighting is the MUTO awakening in Japan alongside the remainder battles involving Godzilla(2014 movie). He was seen rescuing civilians who had no chance to evacuate safely. The people called him Skullcatcher which is later added to the file.

Kafka would eventually approach Monarch a few months before the events of Godzilla King of the Monsters through Ichiro Serizawa. He had accidentally stumble scattered research about Hollow Earth alongside its various portals. Kafka believes one portal could lead him home specifically 10 minutes after he vanished there then 50ish years.

Due to being stuck in Kaiju form, the man hasn't aged at all. He'll still look 32 upon returning to human form once safely in his universe but in actuality is over 82. You can thank to the tiny Kaiju responsible for his powers for that.

There was definitely a lot of shock as Kafka proposed the meeting with Serizawa under very important matters. Neither him or his trusted colleague Vivienne didn't know what to expect from Monster Sweeper's founder. It definitely wasn't him taking off his helmet to reveal himself to be the Titan Skullcatcher nor the other massive bombshell he would also drop.

Serizawa alongside a few of his most trusted people know the truth behind Kafka. A personal request from the displaced man as such information about his origins could lead to catastrophic consequences. Updates to Skullcatcher's file like biologics were provided but the true details to who the Titan really is were in handwriting.

A good call when it became clear that Monarch was compromised by eco terrorists thanks to Emma Russel. Kafka will often help the organization when it comes to major Titan situations. Delivering the nuke to Godzilla, escorting Kong to Hollow Earth, and helping escort our Hollow Earth team(GxK:NE).

Okie dokie, as promised, here’s some sneak peaks of new content I wanted to rant about.

First off we got Stick Together, For Survival which can be read about here. I’ve been wanting to get this fic off the ground since forever, but didn’t have the time or energy to. This year I’m hoping to finally release it. :3

Next is Fate and Fractures. This is a recent WIP that involves a crossover between Bendy and the Venom movies. It follows the train of thought that, what if the Ink Demon was actually a symbiote? There’s tons of similarities between these two franchises, and I’m dying to write how Audrey and Eddie will interact with one another. The Ink Demon and Venom literally just argue over if planes or trains are better, ngl. It’s basically just a story about family to put it precisely. :3

Lastly is When Stars Become Constellations. This is a post Sonic 3 fic that centers around Shadow interacting with the Wakowski family. Spoilers for the film of course. It’s mostly fluff, but there is an underlying plot that ties things together. (Shadow gets all the happiness bc I love my son ahhhh /pos)

Unfortunately I was unable to write anything for the occasion (darn work /lh), but I instead wanted to ramble a bit about 2024 and how I’ve been. Tomorrow I’d like to share a few sneak peeks of some upcoming projects I’ve been itching to share, as well as some highlights of my year and silly rambles.

I wanted to get so many writing projects off the ground in 2024— and continue the ones that have been a WIP since 2023— but time and motivation were against me. Amongst health and mental struggles, I was diagnosed with ADHD this year. That in turn has made me realize it was hard for me to focus on something if my brain didn’t want to; having perfectionist tendencies hasn’t exactly helped that either. I’ve since learned it is best to let my brain hop around between different things, even if I feel guilty over not updating certain things. And for the stars above, I’m trying to get better at not obsessing over every minute detail in my writing. It takes practice and self restraint, but I’ll get there. ;3

I can’t begin to describe enough how grateful I am that so many of you have stuck around through my ever shifting interests, as well as the engagement and support I’ve received on my works. Publishing my writing had always been a source of anxiety for me, but in doing so it has allowed me to meet so many wonderful, talented people. I’m growing and bettering my skills every day— even if most times I’m scrolling through YouTube or procrastinating!

For all the craziness and struggles 2024 had brought me, you all have helped me make it bearable. So thank you, all of you.
