Tomorrow is a special day for me as it is the day where I first published my first ever plot story driven fic, GX: Rewrite! It is currently on its second Season and it is basically a crossover from GX to VRAINS inside of a GX story, and currently. It will be the 2 year anniversary.

I have an idea for my GX Rewrite. So you know Jaden's dad, Kenn, Works for Pegasus, right? And so did Aster's dad.

I have an idea to make Aster and Jaden to make friends that bonded whenever their dads let them to do so, but after the incident with Aster's dad, he is adopted by The D with Kenn trying to adopt him so he and Jaden can stay close and that Jaden can have someone with him while they were busy.

Do you think that Is a good idea?

I love that yes.

Also the idea Aster gets stronger, decides the only one worth showing his strength too is Jaden.

Makes so much sense in this context.

There love of heroes, and such fits nicely.

First Day

Pre story,

It was the beginning of the new school year in Paris. It was a sunny day, perfect for the situation."So this is our new school huh? "said Marinette, staring at her school with an unreasonable expression with an even tone. She wore a blue chinese inspired shirt with a knee length brown skirt and shoes. She was still unsure about everything that happened.

"Come on sis it's not that bad. It could be fun!!" Judai pointed out, wearing a big grin on his face.He was wearing a brown jacket,a grey shirt and black pants. He was more excited about it. After all,he thought of it as an adventure. He also had a thermos full of hot chocolate.

"I hope you're right Judai."said Marinette with unease." Have I ever been wrong about something like this?"he asked confidently. She gave him a deadpan look"Do you really want me to answer that?".

Judai nervously chuckled"Fair point sis"he admitted.

They entered the building. Compared to their old school it was more new looking. It was also pretty large which made it easier to get lost. Finally they reached their new class room. There were a few students already there .

"Hey guys"Said a girl in a pink dress who waved to him. "Rose!!!"Judai grinned, happy to see the blonde girl. "How are you doing Lavillent?"Marinette asked, also happy to their friend.

"It's amazing!!!"she replied. "Everyone here is super nice except well... "She stops with her expression dulling a bit

She noticed it and asked"Should we be worried about something?" Rose kept quiet"It's nothing"

The twins go to their seats.They went to the 1st row to sit down.

" So you're the new kids, huh?"a boy beside them asked. He had a red baseball hat and wore glasses. He was in a black shirt with green pants.

"Yep!!! Name's Judai Yuki and the grumpy butt is my sister Marinette Cheng!" Judai answered with a smile. Marinette in contrast simply said "Hello" to the boy

The boy responded "Nice to meet you dudes! I'm Nino Lahiffe. "He said with a grin."Also fair warning about that seat.You dudes should think about moving"he warned.

"Why's that?"Marinette asked."Because you are in my seat,losers!!!" a blonde girl with sunglasses on her head said with a rude tone. She was in a white dress with a black belt and high heels. She looked annoyed with the duo.

"Sorry man, didn't know that seat was already taken."Judai said, genuinely apologetic about what happened. He rose to get up with Marinette doing the same.

The girl smiled at them smugly"Good you know your place. Now scram losers!! I swear this school has no standards"

They went to another seat. Marinette stared at her"Well she seems like something.."

"Yeah,that was Chole . She's the mayor's daughter and kind of a pain"Nino explained. "Best to avoid her"

"Thanks for the advice Lahiffe" Marinette said instantly wary of the blonde.

"It doesn't sound too hard"Judai added"We just stay out of her way. Plus this place seems easy to handle". Little did he know how wrong his words were

. Throughout the day Chole made it her mission to mess with them. The worst prank was the bubble gum in the locker key hole and the inside of a locker. That one was as annoying as it was in a way impressive.

Even not counting Chole,the day was still not a good one. They kept getting late to their classes and were pretty unprepared for the day. The only saving grace was lunch .

By the end of the day,the twins were tired.

"Pretty easy to handle,huh Judai?"Marinette said her voice,dripping in sarcasm. "I said I was wrong Mar"Judai said defeated by the day. "Buy hey"He countered"It wasn't all bad .After Rose is here and Nino seems pretty cool."

Marinette nodded in agreement "Touche ,but right now I just want to go home and get some designs done"

"Amen to that"

As they walked to the exit, someone bumped into Judai, making him spill some of his drink. Thankfully it was cold but unfortunately it landed on Chole.

"YOU!!!" She exclaimed to anger, looking at him. You'll pay for this Yuki!!" Judai sighed thinking "This is going to suck". Marinette meanwhile glares at her.

Sabine Cheng smiled."Welcome home, how was your day you two?" she smiled hoping it was good.

"Well it was something plus I kinda have someone who hates my guts, so yeah"Judai shrugged.

Title: Nowhere To Stay - Rewrite Chapters: 1/1||Words: 3,708 Characters: Bean Soldier, Juudai/Haou Genre: Drama||Rated: PG Notes: I rewrote this (for a third time) and I think I like this one best of all. Summary: Bean Soldier's duty was to keep unauthorized folk out of the village. That meant the boy in the red jacket and it definitely meant the warlord in black armor.

Do I want this au to exist in fic form? Yes, do I have ANY motivation to do it? Absolutely the fuck not! So! Here is the GX section of my currant running Yugioh!au

I’ll probably post about the general au later but for now here:

1. Time travel fic, takes place after Bonds Beyond Time, so Judai knows Yugi (not Atem, they really didn’t do anything in the movie so ehhh I think they really didn’t interact), and Yusei, they exist. Well that’s not the main point, the point is that Yubel and him are soul linked/merged/whatever the hell happened. The story would start with Judai getting sent back in time (wether it be Crimson Dragon or another beings bullshit) to his younger body. But his soul is still merged and he has all his memories.

So before Judai and Yubel were separated and Judai went through the shock therapy, he ran away with the help of Yubel. Age like…5? 6? I don’t remember the canon age. Sue me.

2. Was transported to an interdimentional (donno if I spelled that right I’m tired) bubble thing that Atem exists in (Thank Kiba, the bastard wouldn’t let Atem sleep so he(Atem) made a pocket bubble so he didn’t have to deal with a time loop every day, basically splitting themself from the outside world. He just wants some peace damnit), basically gets adopted by Atem. (Not Yugi, during this Yugi is living his best life and won’t become a full prominent figure until after the Bonds Beyond Time arc. (Yes he does leave the bubble a few years before Duel Academy, they need some socialization)

3. Judai and Yubel learn how to coexist and have a sibling relationship (SUE ME ITS CUTE. I JUST WANT THEM TO BE GAY AND HAPPY.) With communication and planing for the bullshit that is Duel Academy, because they’re getting in because the universe wouldn’t let them off the hook. Also they both get therapy, it helps, Judai i would characterize as sort of back to his S1/2 self, fun, happy, outgoing, but is still mature and realistic when need be also terrifyingly good at reading people. Yubel takes a fucking chill pill (Thank Ra) we love them but they were a lot in the beginning. I would say Yubel has this sort of Older sibling relationship with Judai, which he needed. They learn why friendships are so important to Judai and they learn to coexist in a healthy way.

4. Basically a GX rewrite (Goodbye Chumly you were a good stand in character but Blare makes for better writing, you will be a side character later probably) but with Judai+Yubel team up, they manipulate the outcome to certain events like they leave Manjoume to go to the other school because he’ll meat the Ojama’s and have character development. But will stomp the Society of light into smitherines before it even gets to the island. Judai also bonds with his Hero deck again in a fresh way (he did not have the deck on him when he time traveled)

5. Judai goes under an alias, I know that people might not like me for this but I think both Judai and Yubel would agree to use the name Judai for other purposes (names have power, people could track him by the name, eta eta) so when he enters the human realm from Atem’s soul bubble thing they go under the name Jaden Yuki instead of his actual name Judai Muto (Atem adopted him and basically has the Muto last name so [shrugs] makes Yugi’s life easier later anyways)

6. Will Jaden tell any of his friends about him? Absolutely not! Does he tell the professors? Nope! Does Pharaoh love him on sight? Of course!

I think most people would be unnerved by how well they immediately they got along. 

And the way Jaden already knows the island like the back of their hand (he makes a big show of looking around the island but it’s ingrained into them to just exist there)

Does he become a Cryptid? …..slightly. Maybe. Yes? I don’t think he ment to but

I want this fic to exist, like it spans season 1, because idk how to deal with Johan, and idk if Judai’s ready for that yet (we’re they together in the og timeline? Yes. It didn’t go well. [stares at Yubel], but they made it work.)

Extra notes:

Judai/Yubel Powers:

Shapeshifting into human, Demon (normal Yubel), and Dragon forms (only ever done once and needs all currant Yugioh protags to unlock, not really a plot point)

Going invisible Duel spirit style

Basically being a Duel spirit

Judai can leave his body as a spirit and go do shit (I don’t think anybody wants the laying there (probably dead) body to inhabit Judai has rabies and/or some kind of lock on his body. It’s so connected to their spirit that it wouldn’t fit anything else.)

Can see through magic, can find its source, eta.

LAZER BEAMS. OUT OF THEIR HANDS. THIS IS JUST SOMETHING TO BE COOL.

Sonic speed, strength, reflexes, mans doesn’t subscribe by the laws of physics. Also they a bendy mother fucker, folds like origami.

Glowing multicolored eyes.

Can make illusions, not crazy like cover the school, but enough to get them out of sticky situations.

Basically if the plot permits it, chaos can be made, and who am I to say if it cannot happen?

Atem and Yugi are originally from Season 0, but they also time traveled and experienced Duel Monsters. Hence the Season 0 tag

Jaden had two (2) facedown and zane played one (1) powerbond card.

(side note: he should have lost the grad match— one of his uses of powerbond didn’t deal him damage at the end of the turn, but it would have at the end of the next turn. he cancelled it out by playing cyber kirin, but it should have dealt him damage on the previous turn. 0-YGX, 1 Gus.)

He’s teasing of course, but something about that address makes Yubel shiver inside. But they’ve got to give as much as they get right now. Yubel breaks out a mischievous grin for the punchline. “Well, you heard me figure you out just now. After four years, I’m the world’s biggest expert on Judai behavior.”

Okay so at this point Atty is well enough to be up and about sorta so he's standing in the hall just kinda staring out the window and Alexis is watching over him, and when the others show up and Jaden asks how he's doing she says:

"So so. I mean, he's out of that hospital bed now, but he still can't remember much of what happened."

THIS IS IT. This is literally all they give us about Atticus having memory problems, just her SAYING he does, we never actually SEE it and that makes me upset I'm just saying. Ugh. Anyway, they drop the ball on literally everything concerning Atticus blah blah blah, I could talk about it for days, on with the episode.

There is a small but non-zero chance I'm just going to say screw it & rewrite everything I've ever written, regardless of challenge or if I think it can be improved or not (everything can be improved anyway). I'm just so tired of trying to sort it all after over a year. In fact, I actually started this project at the end of March last year, and about all I've done is start, get another idea for how to resort, restart, rinse & repeat, with minimal actual writing done, & more time wasted, & my Bingo cards & Tumblr prompts gather dust.
