Salia (Sam/Celia) is a fantastic and overall cute canon ship but I'm still rooting for Gwelice (Gwen/Alice) to blossom so we can see Gwen's breakdowns over the Externals break through Alice's increasingly brittle shell and Alice can have someone to hold her hand through her current delicate mental health and they can go on double dates with Sam and Celia and Alice can be delighted by Celia and Gwen absolutely screaming Sam at Settlers of Catan and Gwen and Alice can walk home and be less afraid of the terrors creeping through the alleys of London because they have each other and even if Gwen is still grumpy and a bit too dedicated to a dead-end job like the OAIR Alice can tease her and smooth away the furrow between her brows and Gwen can surreptitiously slide a cup of tea and a plate of shortbread biscuits onto Alice's desk while she avoids one of Chester's read outs just so she can have an excuse to brush the crumbs off her an hour later
