GW2 ROLEPLAYERS

So. I've had this idea reserved for some time, now I finally have the drive and time to pull it off.

Y'know how the GW2 world/public RP scene is kinda well, barely existent? I have an idea that may resurrect it in some way.

This will be for US servers!

HERE WE ARE! This is my WORLD RP RESURRECTION PROJECT!

The idea is to basically make whole cities or areas the " RP event" for quite a few hours, so it's a faux event with no set premise and is only really there to drag people to the area.

World sharding kinda broke random walk up RP for the most part, buuut what if there was some type of anchor point for a single shard?

I plan on being that anchor point, I'm going to select two days of the week and for about 5 hours a night/afternoon set up a squad for people to jump in and jump out of if they want, but at least everyone will be in the same shard. I will probably rotate through cities, meaning a different one each day, people can set up their own events or businesses for these days to make these places feel a lot more lived in, I would appreciate anyone reaching out to me if they are interested in doing such, a lot of coordination is going to help this kind of project in the long run. This will of course be headed by the efforts of a fairly small guild, any help will be extremely appreciated. We are currently deciding on what days this whole thing will be, might make a poll for it if people like this idea enough. I had already made a fledgling/kid tengu character a while ago, but never used/RPed her cuz the raven helmet didn't quite sell the illusion well enough for me. BUT NOW hehehehe this is a very good bird head skin \o/ & I shall bother my RP guildies with her soon >:3c (sorry not sorry for the photo dump. I had too much fun making her)

I love how the new helm skin allows the feather textures to pick up the highlights/iridescent colors from the shadow and bloodstone dyes so well! Found gloves with feathers poking out of the elbow ends. & I used boots that help sell the illusion that her leggies are still digitigrade underneath the baggy pants & big kid boots. & of course the shape of the asura character model underneath leads perfectly towards that big headed kid shape. Look at this devious little fluff ball! (she stole your coffee. I'm sorry)

I gave little Izumi a backpack buddy to carry her things in, ... & of course she's got the tropey big mech buddy too.

yeah it's because i inserted caeru into the FL universe as a half-joke and then by the time i made my light fingers account i was like. oh wouldn't it be really fun if i brought lark back to be caeru's annoying sibling. as a bit. and then greylu's existence in the scoundrelverse spontaneously dawned on me and now a good majority of my FLPCs aren't even original to the FL universe

Miryen Soulcatcher

Astral Ward Mage/Ex-Nightmare Courtier/Scourge She/her/they. Bisexual Aromantic. 176 cm/5'9 feet tall. Personality: Impressionable, Inquisitive, Reliant, Irresponsible.

Mini-backstory:

When Miryen emerged from the Pale Tree's pod she went out to discover the world, driven by the insatiable need to figure out the world of Tyria in her own way. Along the way the Nightmare Courtiers got to her. Due to her inquisitive and impressionable nature they didn't need to use their persuasion tactics to convert her to their ranks. Miryen always wondered what was beyond the Dream after all. Years passed and Miryen was found weary of the ways of the Nightmare Court, wandering lost and tirelessy through the world until she was found by the Astral Ward. She couldn't deny that joining the Ward was the best way to redeem herself and discover more than ever before about the world and eagerly accepted to be trained within their ranks. Now she protects Tyria from threats unknown.

so since I may be free this summer after all, would anyone be interested in an RP event that's a potluck? I've been wanting to do it for ages but there's never any interest compared to other themes

for a discord rp, I would make a separate server explicitly for this purpose so you don't have to be in any guilds or anything! I would also delete the server (or at least channel, if people would like an event-planning server long-term) after a week - enough time for people to read over their stuff but not preserved forever and ever.

We are an up-and-coming warfare based guild located in the game Guild Wars 2! In this world, a small fraction of the Mists has begun to flutter, trembling like a sheet of plastic in the wind. Creatures from the Mists have begun to leak out, making their homes within Tyria, or are in the process of attempting so. The Pragmatica is a collection of individuals, built to combat these threats!

Within this guild, events regarding creatures of the Mists are not official to a designated plot. The plot of the guild is the development of your characters, and what you're willing to do! Alivia Dawn

Mesmer/Collector of Artefacts/(ex-?)Member of Commander's guild She/her. Heterosexual. Divorced. 169cm / 5'6 feet tall.

Personality: Caring, Calm, Sincere, Quiet, Observing, Critical, Adventurous, Perfectionist, Determined.

Backstory: As a young noble girl Alivia was promised to marry into a wealthy noble family at the young age of 16. She married Erick Elwood the eldest son of the Cavalli family whom was adopted as a child. Alivia had their son Andrew at the young age of 18.

Two years after starting their little family had grown she went to attend an extravagant picnic with her son hosted by an acquianted noble family. The attack on Shaemoor happened and the centaurs heavily wounded Alivia and killed Andrew. She was saved by the Hero of Shaemoor and survived but in her grief Alivia enstranged herself from the outside world. She lost any form of relationship with Erick in the process, shutting him out completely. Their marriage had no love left.

Alivia met Eymeria, a Durmand Priory Magister and healer at an event in Divinity's Reach after her divorce. Eymeria helped her heal from her PTSD. The two became good friends and started collecting artefacts together whilst indirectly helping the Commander in their endeavours to safe the world and help make it a better place.

At least that's how it was all supposed to go. After the Dragon cycle successfully ended with Commander Lucinda Price's victories, Eymeria and Alivia set out on a field expedition. They got ambushed by a Kryptis Rift a few weeks after they started their journey. They managed to survive the ambush but were swept up into Nayos by the rift, where Kryptis started feeding on Alivia's trauma. The two were rescued by a small group of Astral Ward members, one of which was Miryen, a mage whom opened a ward portal for them to go back to Tyria. Unfortunately Alivia got fractured from her timeline and ended up in an alternate Tyria where the Commander Lucinda Price was never born.

In this alternate reality Alivia has to leave her old self behind and become a new, more brave version. She's determined to find someone who can be their Commander and save the world once more.

How your character might have heard of her: Tyria Prime: Your character is part of nobility and frequents balls, fundraisers, social gatherings etc. in and around Divinity's Reach. If your character has connections to the Durmand Priory you would have seen her come in for healing and befriend a Magister there whom she's been helping collect artifacts with for the Pact.

Alternate Tyria: Your character might have connections with the orders or other notable figures that try to save Tyria from danger. If your character is training their powers at any institution or Order.

Mini-backstory: Amya has always loved animals more than people and it was this sentiment that made her leave the comforts of Hoelbrak. Wandering the Far North of the Shiverpeaks she has been hunting and gathering whatever she can to preserve her people's ancient customs and culture and their way of traditional life. She's become accustomed to the bitter cold and spends a lot of time with the Kodans.

Hey! You know who I am, of course, so I'll skip the introduction.

Heard about this Tumbler thing (you spelled it wrong, so I'll be fixing that) from the Commander... they gave me a weird tablet that lets me look at it. Strange how you're all talking about everything like it's some kind of game, but other than that, good stuff! Lots of affection for Tyria, you love to see it.

One problem, though: a lack of forges, rust, machinery, explosions, sweat, gore and diplomacy and all the other things that make Iron Legion the best Legion. I'm here to fix that!

(This is an RP blog for my favorite GW2 character, Bhuer Goreblade. He's a bit of an obscure one, and gets very little on-screen time, so there will be lots of headcanon!)

(Usually I will be posting screenshots, drawings, etc. of Bhuer and related characters such as his aide-de-camp Erracus the Wise, Imperator Mia Kindleshot, Imperator Smodur, Knut Whitebear, other Black Citadel characters, etc.)

(Erracus will also answer questions! He's the one taking the pictures, and he probably writes out a lot of Bhuer's posts himself.)

(The blog will definitely have furry-related content on it, I lust for the man, but I wouldn't say it'll be overly erotic or anything like that; feel free to send more lustful asks, I won't bite! I'll tag anything leaning more towards the lustful side.)
