Ancient Choya, my latest Guild Wars 2 character. He's a scourge, and a loyal follower of Joko.

He is an awakened choya, and has been a member of Joko's high court, going back to Joko's early reign. Betrothed choya might even be a descendant of his!

He's a scourge, and his sand ghasts resemble angry choya faces, instead of the usual humanoid faces.

It got lost amongst bigger, more intense dreams, so I didn’t quite remember until now, but I’m pretty sure I had a dream recently that we finally saw Eparch and he turned out to be a choya.

For Marcus, what's the strangest thing you saw during your time in the mists with Rytlock? Do you reckon Rytlock would agree on your assessment of 'the strangest thing'?

"Weirdest? Oh have I got something for you." Marcus responds with an amused smile. "See, we never knew where we might end up, going through rifts and portals to who knows where. And this one time we ended up around what looked like a fractal of Elona."

"But here's the thing. Not one of the city residents were humans, awakened, or any of that." He pauses with a claw held up.

"They were all choya."

He's quiet for a moment, then continues speaking while gesturing vaguely. "Every single living being in those cities was one of those little cactus things. All speaking in their own choya language so none of us could understand shit."

"And then, I don't know what we did but the second we were spotted by them they just stampeded! Chasing after us, was it cause we weren't choya? Hell if I know, the both of us just ran."

"Those fuckers are fast though, Rytlock and I did manage to escape that fractal, but not without earning ourselves a lot of needles." Marcus lightly laughs, thinking back. "We spent hours plucking those things from each other. I dare say Rytlock would vehemently agree that was one of the strangest things we came across."

Since the Commander is busy with wizard issues, the choya have taken over. Theyre not really sure WHAT they took over, but theyre not giving it back.
