On my last post, I wrote about the character assassination of Lucky and I have a little bit more to say about it, specifically the drug addiction storyline and how it isn't even about Lucky. You know, the person it should've actually been about.

It's about Jason. It's about giving an "appropriate" reason to allow a married Liz and Jason to sleep with each other without Jason being the bad guy. Because he's never the bad guy. Jason the honorable mobster has to save poor Liz from her druggie, loser husband. It's so fucking lazy and obvious that this story doesn't hold any weight with me.

Instead of telling an impactful story about the opioid epidemic and how it ruins and ends lives, they used it to make Lucky the villain in a fucking love triangle. They decided to write his addiction without an ounce of nuance or compassion. Since they refused to portray an addiction storyline with the sensitivity it deserved, then I'm not going to seriously acknowledge any of it with who the character is now.

Overview:

VirusVirdem's design is based off of the death race outfit, with the exception of a blue denim mini skirt along with grey striped leggings with lower saturation to it meaning the colors may have darkened a bit. Originally she has no symbols on her shirt, but VirusVirdem does as it is a japanese Kanji for "Night", however, the meaning of it has not yet been elaborated on.

Biography:

It is unknown for how long VirusVirdem has been around, or where she exactly originates from. She used to reside within a prototype copy of Slaughter Race (known as Death Race); in which was delivered to Lauren's residence.

It didn't take too long until things began to feel off during Lauren's first playthrough. After beating Sweet Treat, the game seemed to gain consciousness, displaying ominous texts where they shouldn't be, causing huge amounts of bugs and lags, and eventually bricking the game disc, much to the protagonist's dismay, taking it to the video game store to how much it costs.

Later on, they decide to play Sugar Rush Galaxy on their Nintendo Switch as an attempt to forget about the busted game, however it completely backfired, as the entity within that disc had already infiltrated the console, making the red Sugar Luna in the game say something very out of line. After crashing the system, VV supposedly turned off the home security system just as soon as Lauren tried unplugging all their electronics, in attempt of preventing her from possibly causing malwares and viruses and damaging them as well.

Upon receiving a call from the home security company, Lauren tried to explain what went on, but is suddenly interrupted by the sound of static, alongside a deep and spunky feminine voice telling Lauren she'll always watching them, which causes them to be on the verge of breaking down, and drive over to stay the night at their friends house, Thomasina, eventually staying here for the time being.

As if right now, it is unknown where VirusVirdem currently resides, as the video game disc had been defensively destroyed by Lauren, and their TKES (TobiKomi Entertainment System) and Switch kept in a box for purposes of sentimental value.

Trivia:

• Just like Kilobyte, VirusVirdem chooses to make her vessel look like it's rotting, but can choose to make herself more closely resemble Vanellope's actual appearance.

• VirusVirdem is actually an inspiration of Death Race Vanellope in general, while she's based off the current EXE; Lord X, and the currently known entity in the House of Horrorbrews, KiloByte.

• VirusVirdem is like KiloByte's twin sister due to same height, well depends if the "alpha twin" situation happened. She's basically the Mabel type of personality, while KiloByte is the Dipper type of personality, though more powerful.

• VirusVirdem is actually far more mature than Super Horror Vanellope, even though she may be powerful than her and an additional story for Sugar Rush Madness, she "might" be a slave to Horror Vanellope.

• VirusVirdem hangs out with GV and JB-BX for a game of bingo, although GB and MX may not understand KiloByte's game, well, at least not yet, these independent women VirusVirdem, GV and JB-BX can understand bingo better than GB and MX.

• VirusVirdem and Empress V are the only two that could be sonic derivative-related EXEs according to the Wreck-It-Ralph Horrorbrews. While Empress V covers Tyrant (D'Lordess Sugar Rush Mix), VirusVirdem covers Danger Awareness (Cosmic Awareness Sugar Rush Mix)

• Sweet Treat is a female varient of Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal as she made her appearance from Death Race (The prototype version of Slaughter Race video game.) as the final boss of the game.

• Lauren is a transgender, as hinted by the pin at the top of his/her shirt.

• Thomasina Miller is the genderbend version of Tom from the original Sonic.EXE story and twin sister to Tom.

• Thomasina is more of a Sonic fan of a girl, unlike Lauren, due to those kind of fast-pased games giving them motion sickness.

I. PLOT

It’s been 100 years since the last class left Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. The once thriving institute for people born with a unique genetic mutation giving them extraordinary powers, otherwise known as mutants, had to close it’s doors for good because of a shortage of mutant students following the events of House of M. Soon, the world all but forgot that mutants ever existed, and stories told by the older generations were often viewed as nothing more than tall tales. But there’s a little truth to every tale, isn’t there? Over the past couple years, a new crop of mutants have discovered their powers and after being cryogenically frozen for 100 years, Scott Sommers gathered some of them together to reopen Xavier’s for a new class of students. This is the new generation of mutants. Welcome to Xavier’s,  G E N E R A T I O N  X .

II. BASICS

Generation X is a group verse set in the Marvel’s X-MEN universe. Since all characters attend Xavier’s, they should all be mutants but if you have a storyline that makes sense and you really want a non-mutant, human character, we can discuss. When choosing your character’s super power, you should keep their canon in mind and choose a power that fits their personality. Get creative so we don’t have duplicate powers in the verse. No all powerful characters will be accepted. On a scale of 1-5, no character should be above a 3 controlling their power, and they should all still be learning how to control them. Older characters could have a better handle on their powers but younger characters will probably still be novices. Though this takes place 100+ years after X-MEN canon, no canon X-MEN or next gen X-MEN characters will be accepted unless you have a valid reason for their return, (ex. Scott Summers was cryogenically frozen for 100 years.

III. RULES

There’s bound to be mature content including but not limited to sex and violence in a group like this, so we ask that all muns and characters be 18+, no exceptions. 

While in characters drama is encouraged, OOC drama will not be tolerated.

Major plots should always be run by an admin. (ex. major injuries or NPC deaths) Pregnancy and in verse children plots will not be allowed because they don’t really have a place in an environment like this.

Activity will be required either on the group discord or on the dash, but preferably both. If we don’t feel like you’re contributing to the group, you will be asked to leave.

Characters from all fandoms will be accepted as well as original characters.

Each member is allowed up to THREE characters, but we might allow more in the future. If you have at least ONE teacher, you can have a FOURTH character.

Duplicate face claims will not be allowed so if a canon face claim has been taken you will have to use an alternate face.

Duplicate powers will not be allowed so get creative.

A breath and he’s got an arm full of books. He’s failing. Too busy being distracted by other things had put him back and he hated being behind. Hated not making top marks or acing the next test. Math was a failure for him, he’d let that burn, besides, he wouldn’t need it in the outsid world, if the outside world would ever fully accept him for who and what he was. Still, he longed for the distraction. For the sweet relief of thinking about anything that wasn’t currently on his mind. He doesn’t see her, even after his shoulder rams hers and he stumbles backwards, free hand moving in quick pace to pull the earth upwards, catching the freefalling books in haste before he gives a glance to the woman he’s just bumped. “Shit.” He breathes for a second, a shake of his head. “Sorry, guess I didn’t see you.”

name; klaus mikaelson age; 28 hometown; london, england personality; arrogant, cocky, driven, charming, a bit of an asshole, he really loves to drink, don’t get on his bad side, but his good side works, if you can find it position; teacher power; lycanthropy - capable of shifting into a beast at will. The ability gives him super strength when he’s in his other form but his strength seems to wane in his human form. he also possesses rapid healing in both forms although he can be taken out by a truly fatal blow. More often he can control his powers, capable of keeping them in check but sometimes he finds himself losing control.

born into a family that has always known about mutants in spite of the word about them waning to the rest of the world. The hatred of said mutants has apparently passed down to his father who loathes the idea of people who are different - or perhaps those who are stronger than he is. klaus did not have a very good childhood, picked out to be the abused child, the one who his father hated not because he was a mutant - for of course his abilities had yet to show - but simply because his father chose to hate him. after years of suffering under his father’s heavy hand klaus began feeling strange things happening to him once he reached his pubescent years. they were animalistic urges and when his father went to strike him he could not help but strike back. It would take a few months until he found he could fully shift into the form of a beast, using it somewhat recklessly until he realized that control was something he could hardly grasp.

staying at home however was something his father insisted on. perhaps to contain these powers or perhaps because he lived in denial. klaus had grown up afraid of mikael so he listened. it wasn’t until his sister, rebekah, showed signs of mutant abilities did he think to run. so he packed his little sister up after tireless researching and weeks upon weeks of attempting to train himself. they were headed somewhere safe, somewhere with others like them - klaus intent on teaching others control but also wanting to learn how to suppress his rage that he often feels brimming at the surface.

GROWING UP THINGS HAD BEEN NORMAL, WHOLESOME FAMILY, WHITE PICKET FENCE LIFE. UNTIL THE DISCOVERY OF HIS ABILITIES CHRISTMAS MORNING BEFORE HE TURNED 13. IT WAS MEANT TO BE A SPECIAL GIFT FROM HIS MOTHER. SOMETHING HIS LATE GRANDFATHER HAD LEFT FOR HIM. TOUCHING IT HAD BEEN ALMOST LIKE AN ELECTRIC SHOCK. BEING BOMBARDED WITH MEMORIES THAT WEREN’T HIS OWN. HE ENDED UP PASSING OUT. AND IT HAPPENED A COUPLE TIMES AFTERWARDS. ONCE HIS PARENTS FOUND OUT THEY DECIDED IT WAS BEST FOR EVERYONE THAT HE LEAVE. HE DID, FINDING HIMSELF WITH TRAVELING ENTERTAINMENT. USING HIS ABILITIES FOR PSYCHIC READINGS. BUT THE SUPPOSED PRACTICE WAS HARDLY ANY HELP FOR CONTROL. HE WANTED TO KEEP THEM UNDER CONTROL, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE ABILITY EXTENDED TO PEOPLE. HE EITHER TRIES TO ISOLATE HIMSELF OR REMAIN DISTANT. HE FEELS A LITTLE ODD ENDED AT THE SCHOOL. HE DOESN’T KNOW IF HE HAS MUCH PURPOSE THERE. BUT HE’S DETERMINED TO FIND IT. HE WANTS THE MUTANTS TO BE ADVOCATED FOR AND GIVEN SOME SEMBLANCE OF ACCEPTANCE.

After what happened over the summer with Tyler, Jenna thought it might be best for him to stay at the institute; not that she didn’t want him home, but for his safety...for the safety of the people who knew him and might get the wrong idea about him, it was better this way. Jeremy was white knuckling his duffel bag, another suitcase dragging behind him with the rest of his stuff; he didn’t need much, he didn’t WANT much, just his clothes and some pictures from home. He didn’t want to linger on what he was leaving behind, ironic given his powers. His room assignment was given to him after Jenna TRIED to kiss his cheek, dropping him off at the front gate but not getting out of the car. She didn’t know what he was going through, and he was glad at least that she didn’t try anymore. He hadn’t spoken, touched, or looked too closely at anyone since the INCIDENT at the Grille; and now he had to walk headfirst into the belly of the beast.

A tall, almost lanky guy, maybe a year older than him was already unpacking his things when Jeremy found his new room, sparing him a tight smile that didn’t reach his eyes or the rest of his body. He was tense, awkward...but he set his bags at the end of the unoccupied bed and pulled the collar of his sweatshirt despite the HEAT outside. “Hi,” was all he could manage, eyeing bare hands warily. “’M Jeremy.”

It was Saturday, which meant no training... not that Clary could do much of that anyway. Her schooling was more like therapy, talking about things only she could see and feel. It was nice to have the weekends off to decompress. She was on the way back to her dorm, sketchbook clutched tightly to her chest when an aura caught her eye. Before she met Jeremy Gilbert, she didn’t know there were so many different shades of blue. It made her heart hurt. With a frown tugging down on her lips, Clary crossed the courtyard to where he was sitting under a tree. "Hey Jer," she greeted with a friendly smile. "Mind if i join you?"
