oh! if we're talking about Nimona's comic-to-movie changes
i do have one that crosses my mind every now and then when i watch movie and this change is a tone down of Balister's science-nerd side bc
while yes movie Balister still made himself a whole mechanic ARM. i mean wow man. but in the comic he was like a real full-ass scientist. just watch
Lab Safety
Tumblr media
Ecology
Tumblr media
my man made a non-lethal poison to mess up institute's plans and then made a cure for it. why are you so cool. oh and
They went to a science expo
Tumblr media
and made a science friend
Tumblr media
and yea i do understand why is that. why Bal wasn't that of a scientist. comic Balister was like 'The Biggest Name in Supervillainy' and movie Balister wasn't exacly a villain at all so it makes sence. (but i stiiiillll adore bal's scientist side. i. i love scientists.)

AFO/Inko headcanon.
Listen guys, i love DFO, i love AFO/Inko ship. But i have several favorite headcanons about that.
One of them is AFO being disguised as "Hisashi Midoriya". From the start, i don't like that, but then i saw Megamind film and my attitude towards that headcanon changed.
Firstly, i must say that Megamind is an underrated film. Its a shame that this film didn't recieve attention it deserves. It may seem as superhero parody, but in reality it contains complicated message and complicated relationship between characters.
Megamind-is a villain, who raised by cruel environment and firmly believed that this is destiny.
But the real message of film is:
There is no destiny. Your environment forms you as a person, but the your own actions and choices determines what kind of person you will be.
So about ship canon AFO/Inko. I believe that If AFO is disguised as Hisashi Midoriya his relationship with Inko will be the same as Roxane/Megamind. The time Megamind disguised as Bernard and approach Roxane changed his life. Because Roxane shows him kind and gentle attitude and he likes it.
The same could be with AFO. Maybe he hide under Hisashi Midoriya identity only to use Inko or there are other reasons. Inko could show him love and compassion he never experienced in his life even from his brother. And this could change him a little. If we add here @marunalu "clon theory". Maybe the reason why AFO wants to retire is Inko.
Inko give the look he was so eager. Inko always look at him. Why need Demon King anymore?
Ordinary salaryman Hisashi Midoriya can recieve that look. But AFO can't leave such easy way, so thats why he prerpare his Grand Finale and make Izuku the greatest Hero..
But thats just a headcanon and a theiry

Wielding pizza cutters with arms outstretched, she hacked and slashed her way through the rows of copies. She could feel some sweat on her brow as her pigtails got messier and messier. Just when she thought that magical tower of pizza would be the strangest thing in her life... Way to turn it all on her head again!
Her eyes couldn't help but linger on the similarly clad men, though. The Peppino's that not quite Pizza Head mentioned. Given that these clons vaguely drew to mind her loathed rival, Noise-chan...
... Those Peppino's were other versions of her, weren't they?
It was funny how much they reminded her of her dad, actually. Would she remind them of anyone, or...? Sorry you guys turned out ugly. Please don't let-
— SPLAT!
A pie slid off her face sloooooowly as she quickly became surrounded by those little bastards hollering in her face. Congratulations, Fake Noise! You somehow managed to become even MORE annoying than her own! Hopefully, her Pizza Head wouldn't pull a stunt like this against her.
Tumblr media
Maybe her magical pizza cutters were too kind for the situation at hand. Peppina took a step back, tucking her signature weapons back into her pockets as she caught a glimpse at one of her alternates taking hold of the situation with their bare fists.
... She did get in trouble a lot for fighting as a kid, didn't she.
❝ You want something to laugh about...? ❞
Another step back, she raised her arms and pounced for the loudest of the swarm.
❝ I'LL GIVE YOU SOMETHING TO LAUGH ABOUT. ❞

Hi! For the made up fic title game: “The Bitter End”
Ooh, I know what I would do with this one.
TW for character death.
-
It's been a couple of years and Danny is the Ghost King, his family knows about him being Phanton and they accept him.
Vlad has finally turned a new leaf! He still wants to be part of his life, but, like this, Danny wants him to be there, the only other halfa besides his clon...
... except, it was all a lie from Vlad. He didn't let go of any of his goals, and has been plotting all these years, and he strikes a coup in an attempt to take the Crown.
The Ghost Zone enters a civil war as the halfas fight for the throne and then-
-Danny makes his hasdest choice as King, and excecutes Vlad, vanishing his soul for good. No afterlife, no cycle of rebirth. That's it.
The war ends, the good guys win, order is restored.
Danny is ả̷̤̮͓̗͚̝̗͔̦̍̿̇̿͗̀̍̿ͅ l̷̥͔̗̗͇̱͚͖̩̞̘͑̎̈́̎̉̈̍̊̈̒̏̎̋̃ ǒ̸̦͈͔͍̱̜̱͖͓͎̠̬̲͊͐͒͆̿͊̎̊̉̏͛̒̍͛̚ n̸̗͚̫̭̯̱̙̯̆̏͑̽̆́͋̓̌̐͒̓ͅ e̸̤͖͚̲͍̯̭͍̱̦̦͑̆̋̐̓͂̔̏̚ͅ.
-
It's word play (not quite pun) with the fact that Vlad's debut was in Bitter Reunions, and this would be The End of him!
Poor pathetic meow meow. Died the way he lived: bested by a dorky boy

I've seen for a long time how some guy said "Saruto is waiting for the same fate as shinachiku, he lives only in fanfiction" Suckruto is just an ugly parody of his father with Sasuke's colors, he would be the same shame for the Uzumaki clan as his mother for Uchiha. Sometimes I also see a female version of their child and it's almost ALWAYS sakura's clon, what other proof is needed that bsa are sakuratards who want to get boruto as a trophy for pinky daughter, soon new narusaku lol
Yeah unlike other ships who usually do a good mix or give multiple children with different traits from each parent. BoruSara tend to just make the children and grand children mostly based on Sakura.
They are already the new NaruSaku.

What Makes a Story Satisfying?
This is of course only my own point of view, but it’s an idea that came to me recently. Like: why are some stories so satisfying that we love to read, hear or watch them over and over, and others aren’t?
A good, if not perfect way to make a story satisfying is a plot twist. In order to work, it must fulfil these prerequisites:
happen towards the end of the story
be wholly surprising, even better if “magical” (supernatural)
be connected with love / affection
lead to happiness / fulfilment
Good examples
In Beauty and the Beast, the magical moment takes place because Belle is wholly unaware of the nature of the spell that is being lifted. She is stunned and in awe when everything changes, and so are we.
In Snow White, the dwarfs and the prince do not know that the heroine is not dead but under a spell. Much of the happiness of the finale comes from the fact that her reawakening is a total, wondrous surprise for everybody involved.
In Cinderella, nobody was expecting that the heroine would have the second glass slipper at hand which would identify her as the right girl.
In The Little Mermaid, we do not expect that Ariel’s father will relent at last, much less that he has the power to give her a human form.
In Moon Knight, in Episode 4 Marc finds his alter ego Steven, and despite their earlier bickering they form a strong bond and, in the last two episodes, resolve Marc’s internal trauma together.
In the first classic Star Wars film, Han Solo comes back at the last moment to save his friend Luke. In The Empire Strikes Back, Leia can feel where Luke is so that they can rescue him. In Return of the Jedi, Darth Vader unexpectedly chooses to save his son in the end at the cost of his own life.
In The Last Jedi, Kylo / Ben kills Snoke in the throne room scene instead of Rey. This leads to a dramatic scene in which both young people fight the Imperial Guards together, effectively showing that together, Light Side and Dark Side are invincible.
The first season of The Mandalorian ends with the redemption of Greef Karga, the shady leader of the bounty hunter’s guild, after the mysterious child has healed his deadly wound with the aid of the Force.
The Book of Boba Fett ends with Mando’s unexpected rescue through Grogu, who stops the rancor’s aggression by influencing his mind through the Force.
I am also a huge fan of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, among other things because its episodes kept surprising the viewer with unexpected, often sudden plot turns. Other Star Trek shows are much more predictable, which is why I usually can’t enjoy them.
The Netflix show Sex Education has some surprising developments and some satisfying ones, but I can’t think of a single one that is both.
The novel (and musical) The Phantom of the Opera ends with the bad guy / protagonist unexpectedly having compassion with the heroine and letting her go after she showed compassion to him in the first place, something he had never known before.
Bad examples
The awakening of Sleeping Beauty is not a surprise for the characters, again leaving the story without the surprise effect.
One of the reasons why I am not a big fan of the Star Wars prequel trilogy is its lack of surprises.
In The Phantom Menace we learn that the handmaiden Padmé is in truth the Queen Amidala of Naboo, but this is not a supernatural turn of events. Qui Gon is killed by Maul, without an explanation except for what we can make of it: young Anakin will be trained by the less experienced and mature Obi-Wan. This is never said anywhere however.
Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith (although I find the latter a small masterpiece) also do not offer real surprises. As fans of the saga, we knew what would happen - Anakin would sire children, then turn to the Dark Side and Palpatine would take over the power over the galaxy.
Rogue One also does not offer any development or plot turn which we would not have already known or expected, and the end is depressing.
In The Clone Wars, the only unexpected development is Ahsoka leaving the Jedi temple; which is only sad and further emphasizes the moral decline of the Jedi Order.
In Ahsoka, Sabine does manage to master the Force in the end, but it leads to an open end.
Ben Solo’s ultimate redemption in The Rise of Skywalker, the only positive aspect to this atrocious movie, is not a plot twist. It happens step by step, not suddenly, and all except but the most dense of viewers already knew or highly suspected that it would happen.
In the tv show Obi-Wan Kenobi, we have Reva’s final decision to not hurt Luke after all: but since this comes out of nowhere, it falls flat.
The Mandalorian season 2 leaves a bitter aftertaste: Luke coming to Mando’s and his friend’s rescue is cool to look at, but it leads to the worst end possible - he separates Mando from Grogu, when the show made it clear from the very first episodes that these two belong together.
And now we come to the really boring part.
The Star Wars sequels, Loki, The Bad Batch, Ahsoka… all these stories offer no twist and no resolution. They introduce characters which we get attached to, and then don’t seem to know how to finish their arc.
Which leads me, in turn, to interpret why most of the latest Disney Star Wars stories suck.
They lead to no end.
There may be some surprise here and there, but it doesn’t have that twist that leaves you with that “Wow” feeling. The heroes are not saved by magic and love and they don’t find fulfilment. All these stories want is for us to continue watching, hoping that some further development will finally give the characters we have grown to love closure.
The problem is that - we don’t live forever, dear Disney studios. Neither do you.

𝐓𝐇𝐄  𝐉𝐀𝐈𝐆  𝐄𝐘𝐄𝐒  𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐎𝐖𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓.
𝙞𝙣𝙨𝙥𝙤  :  it’s  not  spoken  anywhere  in  regards  to  rex’s  canon  upon  how  he  had  recieved  the  mandalorian’s  jaig  eyes.  so  here  is  both  my  prediction  and  headcanon  on  how  he  had  earned  them.  so  i  will  discuss  the  official  star  wars  definition  of  the  jaig  eyes  and  who  exactly  has  the  authority  to  bestow  it.  fun  fact  before  i  scuba  dive  into  this,  i  got  inpsired  to  write  this  becuase like  in  real  life  hindu  symbols,  they  are  often  taken, missused,  abused,  and  misunderstood.  i  wanted  to  recognize  and  emphasize  that  rex  uses  a  symbol  from  a  culture  not  his  own  and  thus  carries  the  meaning  with  a  educated - based  pride  with  it
Tumblr media
𝙙𝙚𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣  :  a  simplification  of  jai’galaar’la  sur’haii’se,  translating  as  “shriek - hawk  eyes”   in  Mando’a,  and  more  commonly  reffered  to  simply  as  jaig  -  were  a  Mandalorian  sigil  bestwoed  by  clan  leaders  as  a mark  of  honor,  awarded  for  particular  acfts  of  bravery.
𝙞𝙣𝙛𝙤  :  rex  was  a  FIRST  generation  clone  soldier,  therefore  must  have  been  trained  b  mandalorian  warriors  that  volunteered  in  the  kaminoan / republic  project  of  engineering  a  cloned  army  ⎯  at  least  those  that  might  have  been  around  at  the  time.  despite  on  how  many  i  see  others’  view  on  rex,  he  is a little more  older  than  we  usually  think.  as  per  the  first  2D  animated  clone  wars  show,  captain  fordo  was  technically  the  first  clone  soldier  on  screen  to  bear  the  sigil.  next  was  captain  rex  who  in  fact  is  a  different  character  but  was  literally  based  off  of  fordo  (  i’m  taking  this  from  an  interview  with  dave  filoni  himself  i currently don't have a link )  initially  wanted  alpha / fordo  but  didn’t  want  the  ‘A’  alliteration  with  anakin  and  ahsoka,  so  he  created  rex.
rex is not just . . . brave. he's far more stoic, firm, and speaks with conviction. he's not some happy go lucky guy who loves his bros. his brothers just like him are a tool, and this is CRITICAL to understand the reason how he was able to earn this sigil. this is never to say he can't empathize, but why should he if that would just bring more emotion and drama? this is war, and he and his men alike all clones understand this resolve. emotions are a luxury and it's not something worth fighting for. this allows him to committ actions, such as saving ahsoka by killing his own men after his chip removal. ahsoka was the one to order rex to only stun them, she didn't want to kill them, rex wouldn't give a damn at this point in their situation.
𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙮  :  rex  was  taken  separately  from  his  squad  by  astute  observation  done  upon  him  for  his  military  tactics  and  leadership  and  put  into  a  rigourous  trainging  group  with  captain  fordo  into  becoming  realiable  leaders  within  the  army.  rex’s  first  official  battle  in  the  books  after  his  commander  training  by  mandalorian  warriors  was  the  first  battle  of  geonosis.  yoda  blazed  into  the  arena  where  general  obi  wan  kenobi,  anakin  skywalker,  and  senator  amidala  were  marking  the  severity  of  the  separists  crists  against  the  republic  and  vice  versa  on  22BBY.  this  was  the  first  entry  of  the  clone  army,  the  captain  hadn’t  et  earned  his  title  until  becoming  spedicially  involveed  with  senator  amidala  herself  once  anakin  had  embarked  on  the  chase  with  kenobi  to  capture  dooku  for  commmitting  terrorism  against  the  republic.  it  was  rex  that  assisted  her  and  secured  her  saftey  until  dooku  had  espcaped  yoda,  and  thus  marked  the  beginning  of  the  clone  wars.  anakin  selected  rex  to  be  his  first  in  command  of  the  501st  torrent  company  and  was  soon  gifted  the  jaig  eye  sigil  by  his  trainers  back  from  kamino  -  high  praise  from  the  chosen  one  had  demonstrated  rex’s  resolve  and  dedication  based  on  the  lenghts  rex  would  go  through  in  order  to  acheive  the  jedi’s  orders  and  priorities.
𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙩  𝙘𝙡𝙤𝙣𝙚  𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙨  :  he  continues  to  bear  the  sigil.  but  the  mearning  as  to  whom  it  was  meant  to  express  as  a  whole  changed  once  the  execution  order  66  was  implemented.  technically,  clones  are  republic  propert  and  he  understands  that  if  that  was  one  of  the  man  uses  he  and  his  brothers  were  meant  for,  it  still  held  true.  his  dut  was  to  the  republic.  however  his  allegiance  changed  back  to  the  jedi  after  ahsoka  removed  his  regulation  chip  after  the  seige  of  mandalore.  his  view  upon  the  endowment  is not  so  defined  simply  beause  the  change  of  his  allegiance  was  not  his  choice.  [  more  on  this  later ]
𝙤𝙗𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣  :  rex  out  of  any  of  the  many  well  trained  commander  clones  it  was  rex  anakin,  the  chosen  one,  selected  (  from  a  clone  wars  novel  i  forgot  but  vidly  remember  ).  anakin  is  paramount  to  rex’s  character  and  is  why  he  took  importance  in  the  clone  wars  show.  i  refuse  to  believe  anakin  wouldn’t  pick  just  anyone,  and  thus  saw  something  in  rex  that  would  fulfill  anakin’s  role  as  jedi.  and  later  even  became  as  close  as  brothers.  which  is  another  reason  why  i  think  the  clone  wars  season  7,  the  partnership  and  dyad - like  duoship  between  rex  and  ahsoka  was  atestament  to  that  relationship  with  anakin.  the  two  closest  friends  had  to disconnect  from  the  very  conflict  that  brotught  them  all  together  ⎯  and  ultimately  their  demise
Tumblr media
rex  will  serve  as  a  reminder  to  me  that  this  man  had  been  through  it  all  what  made  anakin  who  he  really  was  later.  and  he  would  never  dare  question  the  darkness  in  him,  and  that,  is  true  bravery  of  a  soldier.

Fic for day 1 prompt of @foxquinweek 2023, Please don't take him from me 2,500 words May be updated with an AO3 link when I have one TW: Callous treatment of clones, major character injury
Enjoy!
Quinlan was battling his own opponent, who had managed to slip some force-resistant cuffs onto his ankle when he was distracted. The woman was fighting with vibroblades, short knives that maintained a flurry of attacks keeping Quinlan focused on her. He was fighting for his life, unable to access his usual wealth of power, and just barely maintaining the upper hand.
This was why he was powerless to stop the other opponent, who plunged his knife directly into Fox’s right shoulder.
He heard Fox cry out behind him, and glanced back to see his boyfriend clutching his shoulder, staggering back from the attacker. The knife had gone right through the gap in his armor.
Shit. Shit. Shit–Quinlan sliced off the cuffs with his saber, scorching his ankle in the process, then picked up both attackers, flung them into the wall, grabbed Fox, and ran out of the bar into an alley.
“I’m fine,” Fox gasped. “Go arrest them!” It was taking all his willpower not to scream.
“No? You got stabbed! I’m taking you to a medic!”
Fox struggled against him. “Let me bandage my arm, at least.”
“Fuck. Yeah, okay.” Vos put him down and started removing Fox’s armor. “Don’t move your arm. You’ll only make it worse.”
The Vos carefully cut away Fox’s blacks where they threatened to adhere to his skin.
The wound was bad.
Really bad.
“I can try to set it…” Vos said, looking bleakly at the mess of severed muscle and tendon.
“Don’t bother. You need to chase the assassins. An injury like this, I would need  amputation or something.” He winced and bit his tongue hard to keep himself from whimpering. “I’ll be decommissioned anyway.” The smile he attempted to direct at Quinlan was more of a grimace. “It’s fine.”
“It’s not,” Quinlan said, wiping away the tears blurring his eyesight as he lined Fox’s bones up, then jerked his shoulder back into its socket. Fox cried out in pain. “Sorry love,” Quinlan said, immediately wrapping his shoulder with strips of his robe.
“C’mon. The faster we get to the medbay, the faster you can heal. You have your comm? We gotta keep moving.”
“You’re an idiot. It’s a good thing I slipped a tracker onto the guy who stabbed me.”
“You’re so smart babe.” Quinlan hissed as he put too much weight on the burnt foot.
Fox pulled out his comm, sending Quin a worried look. “Thorn! We need an extraction–the mission went south and I got a little bit stabbed. We’re on level 9, heading towards the center pipe.”
Quinlan didn’t hear what Thorn said back, but Fox nodded and ended the call. “He’s on his way.”
They reached the central pipe just as a transport lowered to their level. “Vibroblade to the shoulder,” Quinlan said. The Guard medic–Humerus?-- unwrapped Fox’s dressings to examine the wound.
“This is bad,” he said, glancing at Fox’s face, which was obscured by his helmet.
“I know,” Fox said softly. “Quin insisted I be brought back.” Thorn took off Fox’s helmet.
“Are you okay, General?” The medic asked. Yeah, it was Humerus.
“I mean–I have a burn on my ankle, but it’s not that bad. Focus on Fox!”
Thorn, Fox, and Humerus exchanged a look. The medic pulled out a bottle of pills. “You want some pain meds, sir?”
Fox accepted them with his uninjured left arm and swallowed them dry. They were approaching the barracks, where the clone medbay was.
“I recommend you leave, General,” Humerus said. “Your presence will only make things harder.”
“He–he won’t die, right?” Quinlan said nervously.
“The wound isn’t fatal, sir.”
That was enough for Quinlan, and he walked out of the medbay and back to his rooms in the temple.
Something wasn’t right though. He was getting a distinct feeling that he was missing something.
He sighed. He might have to engage in his least favorite hobby: research.
Disgusting.
He walked down to the Jedi archives to look for the guidelines on clone injury.
Decommissioning.
That’s what the screen said.
Injuries too serious to be treated easily, that result in the loss of or loss of use in a limb, as well as brain injuries, may result in decommissioning as the clone is no longer fit for battle.
No wonder Fox had told him to ignore him, no longer everyone had seemed so–so apologetic, they hadn’t wanted to tell him! Quinlan jumped to his feet. There was no way he was going to let them take him. He made his way back to the clone med bay, ignoring whoever was telling him he wasn’t supposed to be there.
“Fox, what the FU– Oh. Hello, Chancellor,” Vos said, cutting off abruptly and nodding politely. Rage was simmering in his gut, and he took several deep breaths. There is no passion, there is serenity. Anger makes you do stupid things.
“Hello, Master Vos. Always a pleasure to see you. What brings you here today?” the chancellor responded pleasantly. Master Windu stood behind him, watching.
“Checking in on Commander Fox, Sir. He was injured while we were in the field. Will he recover?”
The Chancellor’s face morphed into deep regret. “I’m afraid not, Master Jedi.” Vos’s heart started pounding. “My commander has unfortunately lost the use of his right arm. According to the regulation manuals, this results in a decommissioning.” No. No. No.
“Respectfully, Chancellor, I don’t think that’s necessary. A commander as experienced as Fox is a great asset to the republic. I’m sure a prosthetic could be fitted easily.”
“Can we discuss this away from the patient?” Palpatine said, pleasant as ever. Vos nodded mutely, allowing him to lead him outside of Fox’s room. Quinlan shot him a worried glance. Fox looked heartbroken and mouthed quickly, ‘don’t.’ Vos ignored him.
“I appreciate your concern over Commander Fox,” Palpatine began. “And trust me, no one is more sad than I to see him go.”
Quinlan highly doubted that.
“However, the Republic is strained as it is. We cannot devote more budget to the upkeep of the clones. If one gets a prosthetic, soon they all will want them and that’s more money than we can spare.” No, they couldn’t take Fox from him–
“Sir, it’s just one. The troopers will understand that their commanders get more privileges. What about Commander Wolffe, of the 104th?”
“Master Plo Koon went against regulations to obtain the cybernetic eye for him, and should not have done so. We let it slide but a warning was issued. This is, unfortunately, how it is, Master Jedi.”
“I would like to add,” Master Windu chimed in for the first time that day, “that you are displaying a higher level of attachment than we prefer for Jedi to have. Your compassion is appreciated, but we cannot go against the rules. To do so would be anarchy. You must let him go.”
Quinlan couldn’t do that. He–he fucking loved Fox. He’d never said it, they’d only been a casual thing, but it was true. He made his life so much better. They couldn’t just do this.
“Besides,” Palpatine said, with that same sorrowful, apologetic look on his face, “I do not wish to be callous… but he is just a clone.”
Don’t punch him. Don’t punch him. There is no emotion, there is peace. There is no passion, there is serenity. There is no chaos, there is harmony. This was the leader of the entire republic. He was not going to punch him.
Quinlan Vos looked at them with dead eyes and replied, “I understand. Sorry for the commotion.” He spun on his heel and left the room.
Now, which of his contacts would be the best to ask for a prosthetic arm?
Prosthetics and other similar accessories were common in the underworld. There was a thriving market for them, and finding one that could meet a clone’s specifications wasn’t hard. He paid a (frankly outrageous) fee for it and left for the medbay.
By then it was late, and his abilities as a Jedi Shadow allowed him to slip easily into Fox’s room. He was still there, thank the force.
Vos woke him up gently, shaking him. “Hey love,” he whispered.
“Wh– oh, Quinlan. Hey.”
“You doing okay?” Quinlan kept his voice low and the arm hidden. Fox had in fact been amputated. Vos doubted that was entirely necessary, from what he knew of healing processes, but it wasn’t his field of exercise and this definitely made it easier.
“Yeah, I’m on meds. Listen, Quin–”
“Shh. It’ll be okay. I got you a prosthetic, we just need to attach it, where’s the best medic you have?”
“Quin, you really shouldn’t have done that. I don’t think they’ll let me go anyway. They… this shouldn’t have been an amputation. I had feeling in the arm, the shoulder joint was just messed up. Something’s gone wrong.”
“You think someone’s trying to get you killed?”
“Maybe, I don’t know. I’m just letting you know, you should leave now though, don’t get in trouble.”
“Fox, I’m not going to unpack how you all pretended you’d be okay and didn't tell me you were worried about this. We can deal with that later. But I’m not going to let them take you. Not from me, or the Guard, or anyone. Please let me do this. You can accept the punishment if you want if that’s what you need to say yes, but please.”
Fox sighed. “...Fine. Go ahead, but just–be careful.”
Quinlan smiled softly at him. “I always am. I’ll grab Humerus.”
The clone medic hurried over. Quinlan assured him that he would not get in trouble for this, and Quin was prepared to take all responsibility, then told him not to tell Fox that. Humerus nodded grimly and began the process. Quinlan held Fox’s good hand through the whole process, falling asleep halfway through. He hadn’t gotten much sleep. None, actually, since the incident.
He woke with Humerus gently shaking him awake. “The Chancellor will be back soon to send him off to Kamino,” he said anxiously. “I hope you’re ready for what’s about to go down.”
Quinlan nodded nervously. Fox was asleep, which was good.
The Chancellor, Master Windu in tow, arrived soon after.
As soon as he entered the room and saw Fox, Palpatine’s usual pleasant face twisted into angry disapproval. “Master Jedi,” he said, enunciating each syllable, “did you go against my and Master Windu’s direct orders?”
“Yes sir,” Quinlan said. “As a Jedi, it is my duty to do my best to help people. The arm came out of my personal pocket so the republic need not worry about the expense. It integrated very well with his systems. There is now no longer a reason to decommission him.” The chancellor seemed to be seething. He likely hadn’t ever had anyone disobey him.
Mace Windu stepped forward, frowning. “As much as your compassion for this clone is admirable, it shows a level of attachment we prefer for our members not to have. And your money could be spent on something better.”
“Respectfully, Master Windu, I would argue that saving a man’s life is really the ideal use of my money. And yes, Fox is my friend, but I would not place him over the world or my duties.” Quinlan wasn’t sure how much of that was true. It didn’t matter.
Windu sighed. “I will let this go, as it was a noble act. But there will be consequences, as disobeying your direct superior cannot go unpunished.” Relieved, Quinlan nodded at him.
“Thank you, Master Windu.”
“Well, I suppose I am glad I get to keep my favorite Guard commander,” Palpatine said, his usual expression plastered firmly in place. “Thank you, Master Jedi.”
“Of course, Chancellor.” Quinlan inclined his head to him as well.
Mace sighed. “You shall be put on a new shadow mission that has been in the works for a while. It will be for at least a month, off-planet, with minimal contact. Maybe this will help you gain clarity.”
That wasn’t as bad as Quinhad expected. This was okay. It was going to suck, sure, but it could have been so much worse.
Fox was staying. He was living. Sans an arm, but he was alive. Quinlan had succeeded.
“Yes, Master Windu. Permission to first finish the mission I was on when Commander Fox got injured? We have a tracker placed on one of them.”
“Permission granted, Master Vos. I shall see you for your mission briefing at 0100 tomorrow.”
“Yes sir.”
Windu and Palpatine left the infirmary. Fox was still sleeping. Humerus emerged from another room. “So we’re good?”
Quinlan gave him a tired smile. “Yeah. Maybe tell the men.”
“I’ll do that.” The medic paused. “Thanks, sir. For doing that for him.”
“Of course. I just hope he adjusts to the prosthetic easily enough.” Quin hesitated. “What kind of sleeping meds did you give him?”
“The good ones. He should be up in a few hours. The integration process is the most painful–the skin and tendons will heal, but this is the worst of it and our pain meds can only do so much.”
“Okay. Thanks, Humerus.” The medic nodded and left them alone.
Quinlan took Fox’s hand in his again. “I’m never going to let them take you from me,” he whispered.
Fox woke up a couple of hours later. “Still alive, always a plus,” he said drily, causing Quinlan to look up in excitement. “Oh, you’re awake! Yeah, you’re all set. How does it feel?”
Fox gingerly moved his new arm. “It’s okay. Hurts in the shoulder. Gonna take some getting used to. How’d the talk go? I’m going to kill Humerus for making sure I was out of it.” He was grumpy as ever. Quin smiled affectionately at him.
“The chancellor seemed pretty upset. Mace said I shouldn’t have done it, but I think mostly that was because of Palpatine’s orders. I’m being sent off on a mission with minimal contact soon as punishment.”
“Mm. Could be worse.”
“Yeah. And that’ll give you time to adjust to the arm, so when I get back you can probably get back in the field!” He lowered his voice. “And I’m going to take you on a real date. Somewhere nice. Not just your office to talk for a few hours.” He grinned. “Of course, I wouldn’t mind a little stop by your bedroom…”
Fox blushed and shoved him away. “A good date. That’d be nice.” His voice was sharp and curt in the way it got when he was embarrassed. Quinlan laughed softly, then frowned.
“First I’m going to hunt down those bastards that hurt you, though,” he growled.
Fox regarded him expressionlessly. “Hot,” he commented.
Quinlan swatted him lightly on the head. “Shut up.”
“Make me.”
Quinlan rolled his eyes. “If you want me to kiss you just ask for it,” he teased, and cut off Fox’s response by pressing his lips to his boyfriend’s. “I love you,” he whispered.
“I love you too.”

Mini Reseña de "DC's How to Lose a Guy Gardner in 10 Days".- 8 Comedias Románticas al estilo Cómics ❤️
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Si..., we notó a leguas.
Tumblr media

So under the assumption that 003 is not an OC or Eclipse. My two guesses would be Monty or Glitchtrap. Monty has shown destructive tendencies and in some aus have killed one of his peers. Glitch is more machine than his origin(Springy boi) and tends to have ulterior motives. Not sure though as it sounds like William and 003 are separate and seem to not be clon the same side.
YES THANK YOU X-003 ain’t an oc cause no I’m keeping this in the boundaries of SB (there may be a vague Quasar reference in there or another vague reference to an oc that someone made for this but not really a main character) and eclipse isn’t either (tho y’all will have his pov in the next chapter hahaha OMINOUS)
Anyway, these are GOOD guesses. Monty (kelpie) is already a character and will come up eventually as a very lore-important guy (LIKE REALLY IMPORTANT) and glitchy springy boi here is somewhat closer to the truth (although not quite ISH)

Annon-Guy: Got any idea for why Crow's so darn obsessed with Dizzy? I don't know if it's the translation, but it's clear that aside from clonning her for the P.W.A.B., he appears to harbor feelings of lust of her, considering his last words toward her in Dizzy's AC+ Story about claiming she's his princess and he won't stop until he embraces her. Not to mention Dizzy's bad ending...
Robo-Ky's "analysis" of his "useless creator" suggests he is:
Gloomy, Anti-Social, has no proper Manners, and doesn't clean up after himself.
Of course, such a person probably has zero experience with interacting with anyone of higher society, let alone the opposite gender.
Furthermore, his obsession lies with treating her like "a weapon" and NOT as a living person.
Not exactly an encouraging individual.
Of course, it's been a good six years since we last saw him… so it's possible he's "improved" somewhat?
Or not… I wouldn't get my hopes up.
Working as an Underling for the Conclave probably didn't earn him any favors when their little "group" got ousted from the Sanctus Populi.
And performing inhumane experiments just makes his resume' even WORSE.
For now… let's just say it's good that Dizzy's bad ending wasn't canon…
