if you're the kind of person who randomly yells at people you see shipping problematic tropes in wlw/mlm ships, in show and fandom contexts, you don't get to suddenly turn around and pretend the exact goddamn same problematic tropes are suddenly cool/cute/hot when it’s your own personal favourite het ship and you also don’t get to yell at anyone who responds by challenging you on shipping your own problematic ship about how the problematic tropes aren’t actually problematic at all in this circumstance or those tropes are totally okay when you do it because ~you’re doing it right~ or what the fuck ever excuse you frantically come up with. 

on the same note if you have a problematic wlw/mlm ship or enjoy fan content depicting a ship that adds problematic tropes you don’t get to go off at people with het ships/fan content with those same tropes. also if you like a problematic trope with a mlm ship you don’t get to yell at people who like the same problematic trope with a wlw ship and vice versa. 

if you decide a trope is problematic it doesn’t suddenly stop being problematic when YOU like it or in the way you like it and what you do about that is you can deal with it and not bother people for doing the same thing as you but with different characters and move on with your day. 

alternatively you can devote yourself into an endless circle of screaming at people and then screaming even louder when they point out you’re being a hypocritical dipshit and while i’ve happily put myself firmly in the former category of not bothering people the latter gets you far more attention so it’s not hard to guess what 99.99% of the people on this hellsite are gonna go for.

Listen, Miura gave us the golden age and that's good enough for me at least. Sometimes there's things we don't like, but in this case fans can disagree but I see you being oppose mainly because of your desire for gutsxgriffith and that's ok, however Berserk is still too notch manga regardless. Each to their own. Cascade and Guts are over for me since she tried committing suicide before Griffith ECLIPSE and sending Guts off without acknowledging Griffith feelings.

i mean personally i do think the quality has taken a big nosedive in the fantasia arc particularly, completely regardless of my ship preferences, but yeah to each their own, we’ve all got our differing opinions and i don’t begrudge anyone theirs.
