I've never watched Ted Lasso but I saw your post about Trent Crimm not getting much screentime in s2 and I find it hilarious that most of what I know about the show is about a minor character who some viewers might have forgotten existed.

This is fandom at its best, finding something you really love and elevating it. Love it.

(and he is most S1 episodes, with one titled after him, I'd say only the least observant and inexplicably immune to his charm would forget about him by the end of S2, bit of a hyperbole maybe, but lots of ppl definitely missed his character arc at least)

3. what’s your least-favorite moment with your favorite doctor?

Alright, so my favorite Classic Doctor is 7, but my favorite New Who Doctor is 9 and the moment I read this question I thought of a scene that, every time I see it, makes me feel blech. It's at the end of World War Three when the Doctor is ringing Rose to let her know the TARDIS is almost ready to go and she says that Jackie is making dinner for the three of them. Not only does he refuse to come to dinner, but he then says, in the skeeziest way imaginable, that Rose can either come with him to see something amazing or stay at home "your choice" and then he hangs up.

It just feels so wrong for 9 to say something so manipulative.

10. what’s one conversation you wish you could have or question you wish you could ask a doctor who character?

My immediate funny answer is sitting down with Brigadier Allister Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart circa Battlefield, popping open a bottle of whatever he wants, and just hearing the most ridiculous, humbling stories he can tell about the Doctor. I bet he's seen that dork do plenty of ridiculous or silly things in between stories.

15. is there a plot line that has ended but that you wish had been expanded on?

This was tough for a moment and then my brain went, "oh yeah 100% that!" So at the end of Flux the Doctor sucked it all up into the Passenger and all that, but the universe is still just like... absolutely ravaged, yeah?

From what we were told, destroying Earth was essentially the end game of the Flux and that's where the Doctor and Co. took their last stand sooooo are we just accepting the fact that millions upon millions of planets have been destroyed along with god knows how many species? Sure, there's refugees and stuff, but the universe is just like... destroyed.

20. what’s one hope you have for upcoming doctor who content?

NON-HUMAN COMPANION. OR NON-MODERN DAY COMPANION. PLEASE GIVE ME AN ALIEN OR SOMEONE FROM THE FUTURE OR THE PAST OR WHATEVER JUST PLEASE SOMETHING OTHER THAN A 20-SOMETHING HUMAN FROM MODERN DAY UK.

hmm, y'know, I don't know that there's anything in particular that I'd *never* write, but coffeeshop AUs just. Do not thrill me.

OTOH if you wanna broaden the idea out to 'contemporary, everyone's human, fairly low-stakes' AUs, one day I might actually get somewhere with my DS9 library fic, which I'd definitely say falls into a similar category.

☕ RTD dropping hints in Tooth and Claw that Rose still had some Bad Wolf in her and never coming back to it again

ah, this is a really good one!!

☕ on the one hand, i absolutely think that this was his way of setting up the fact that rose was leaving, and i don't hate it. by including this reference (along with a few other moments), it seems like he's trying to clue us in: this is all part of the plan. the conclusion to this is inevitable. rose, while the heart of the tardis was in her mind, at least saw this outcome, if she didn't design it directly. so, i think it's an effort at mitigating potential fallout from fans by saying, "this is how it is. this is how it was always going to be."

on the other hand—the bigger, much more grumpy hand—i wish we had gotten a few more nice, big flashing "rose is still the bad wolf" signs. i wish it had been a stronger part of her s2 arc instead of happening off-screen during series 4. i wish we had gotten "rose's very self has been altered by her time on the tardis and now the aliens no longer recognise her as human." i wish we had gotten "rose is a time lord," because i am a glutton and i want it all, and immortal rose is what i want most. it wouldn't have necessarily changed anything about her departure, except for making her the doctor of her own parallel world. which, to me, was the point of rose all along: she was the 'first female doctor,' as they say.

Aha! I had. I just am 1.) Very Juncture pilled rn (I'm uh very responsible for the fact that all the stories in that series have a ridiculous number of comments for an eda/torchwood crossover because I use the comments as the authors dms lmao) because it has Fitz as being the only person who can really work the rift manipulator but he can barely work his email (how much the email thing is him being stupid on purpose is up to debate lmao)

2.) While I loves fail office worker Fitz the very Defining scene from that book I remember is Compassion killing his boss with an axe (God I kinda love her)

Thank you so much!! I’m glad I have been able to spread the wonderful weirdness of these commercials!!! Something about the effort and yet lack of effort and the great performance by Tom Baker just make them so phenomenal and I will never get over them!!

Also, they only put controls on three of the panels so half of the console is just blank and I love that.
