Thinking about how lonely Miorine must have been pre-series. The only people she talks to are 1) the ones trying to marry her for clout 2) people making fun of her escape attempts and 3) Shaddiq. She’s depressed, she has no support system, no one that gives a flying fuck about her, and yet she is without a doubt one of the kindest characters in the entire show. All it takes is for someone to care about her, to actually care, and suddenly Miorine’s priorities shift forever. That’s how good she is.
