This is a sweet collection of short stories following a little girl and her grandmother living on an Island in the Gulf of Finland.

thanks for asking! yeah i would say i did. Ive been in a campground on some island for a week to see and paint beautiful landscape but i was too dumb for only bringing three canvases and not bringing my sketchbook (sprained my leg there). Next week i spent (still spending but im leaving tomorrow) in Saint Petersburg to see gulf of Finland and Karelia, visit Hermitage(sucked) and Russian Museum(was awesome) with my dad and stepmom (almost got poisoned of accidently drinking vinegar)

Vladimir Putin visited the Solitaire, a ship laying pipe as part of the Nord Stream gas pipeline project in the Gulf of Finland.

“Welcome to the largest pipe-laying vessel in the world!” the Prime Minister was greeted on board.

The Prime Minister was particularly interested in the process of welding the gas pipes. Vladimir Putin even personally observed a stinger laying pipe 60 metres below the surface. By the time he arrived on board the Solitaire, the vessel and its crew of 415 had laid 300 kilometeres of the first section. The planned length of Nord Stream exceeded 1,200 kilometres.
