Three's Company WIP

Treating this one a little differently. Instead of dropping one preview right before posting, I'm gonna going to drop them as I feel like sharing. Here's something from the almost 2K I banged out yesterday!

A shiver ran down Lute’s spine. That shouldn’t have sounded as hot as it did. “What if I wanted to be with two guys?”

Layla’s eyes—golden, just like every other Exorcist’s—raked over Lute’s body, settling on her chest for just a moment. “Of course, you could have a threesome with two men, but honestly? One’s enough. I find a woman's…touch balances the dynamic out nicely.” She straightened up and gave a half-shrug. “Up to you though. Anyway, I gotta run. I’ll lock the door so you guys can desecrate the couch in peace.” She sashayed to the door, hand catching the frame as she paused. “If you two ever did want to fool around though, give me a call. I’m down.” A teasing smirk curled at her lip. “I bet you look real pretty wearing nothing but a smile, Lieutenant.”

“Hey, what about me?” Adam whined. Despite the fact that his hand was still cupping her breast—and that his large frame was hovering over hers—Lute had temporarily forgotten he was even there at all. 

What about him, indeed.

Layla waved her hand in the air dismissively. “What about you? You’ve been fucking around for thousand of years, let Lute have a little fun. You can watch if you’re lucky.”

In the Garden of Eden~ (closed guitarspear week starter for @dick-meister)

As a lesser angel she wasn't privy to the plans of Father and Seraphim, but she was so curious as she began to hear rumors and snippets of information about a project being worked on.

Eden.

That's what she had heard it called, supposedly a vast Garden with new creatures being created! She wanted to see the creatures so badly, sadly her duties didn't involve going there. Her job was only to contribute her energy to Father, singing his praises so that he could do his work.

She was quite talented, one of the top angels in her class. Her voice was unrivaled as she used it to weave spirit and life into Heaven. Enochian was a powerful language and she manipulated it with expert skill, closing her eyes and letting the sounds flow through her. She hoped she was helping create a magnificent world, one she was never allowed to see.

That is until she snuck into the Seraphim courts out of unbridled curiosity, it was so risky but she just couldn't contain it any longer. Her soul was going into it, shouldn't she be allowed to at least glimpse at what it looked like? The surface of the orb rippled as she approached it and she gasped.

It was so green! Tall things with green papery things sticking out of brown arms were all over, there were so many colors in other kinds of green things and the floor looked furry. She leaned in, mesmerized by all the things she'd never seen before. It was beautiful! Father was truly the most wonderful creator!

She saw movement and began to see creatures that inhabited the green and brown parts. They looked soft! some were brown and some were orange- small, big, ones with skin and ones with stripes and so many things!

"Oh!.... ahh!" She felt herself lean too far into the orb and she was falling! Falling where though?! Blurs of the same green hues she was looking at passed by her vision and she realized. She'd accidentally fell into Eden! The orb must have teleportation properties as well. Admittedly, she didn't know how it worked, just that the Seraphims used it to check on the cosmos.

She felt weird. Something about her was changing but she didn't know what. She still had her wings so she tried to take control of the herself during this downward spiral. She was getting close to the ground! she flapped them vigorously but they didn't feel normal. Come on! You can do it!

She screamed a little as she struggled but couldn't manage to catch the air underneath them. She hit the ground with a painful thud and everything went black. She didn't realize she no longer looked like an angel. She didn't know that only the Seraphims could maintain their angelic forms on earth. She was disguised as one of the flying creatures of Eden- a little black, white, and gray one with bright yellow dots similar to her eyes on its face. She didn't know very much at all, because she was lying unconscious on the bright green grass.

I love how comfortable Adam and Lute are around each other.

I mean, look at this

So they're casually together during the extermination, much like how friends gravitate towards each other when in an event even if they're not talking or doing anything, just because it feels easier than being alone. Or perhaps Lute flew closer because she saw the huge war machine approaching Adam and got a little worried.

Charlie and Vaggie are going to attack them, and look at what they do:

Despite being Adam the one closer to Vaggie, he doesn't move an inch. They don't say anything (besides the shit talk) and Adam doesn't even look at her, he expects Lute will take care of Vaggie with no order from him, even if he's closer.

Obviously Adam is confident and doesn't think Vaggie can hurt him at all, but he clearly trusts Lute to get her out of the way. He probably knows how bloodthirsty Lute is for Vaggie and lets her have her without a word, and Lute complies, again, without a word, leaving him to handle the strongest of the enemies at that moment (Charlie).

So in this second, Adam and Lute communicated in silence. Adam didn't move and trusted her to cut in even if it was him the one under attack, and finally Lute trusted him to handle Charlie so she could fight Vaggie, as she didn't seem worried at all of the possibility of Charlie coming to protect her girlfriend.

They're in harmony. They're just natural together.

He lets her grab him like this and is willing to listen to her. It's clear he respects her and deep down appreciates that she'll keep him from doing something stupid, even if he whines.

She also climbs him? Lol. (Look at how she holds onto his arm 🥹 she's super comfortable with touching him!)

They're always hyping each other up, like in their songs:

I honestly believe that they kinda make each other worse, that neither of them would be SO mean all the time if they didn't have the other: a companion who is always backing them up, who agrees on any crap that comes out of their mouth (Lute lets him talk shit about random women and nods, Adam goes along with Lute's homophobia despite seeming to not care that much about homosexuals).

Many portray Lute being a lot smarter than Adam, but I think they're both dumbasses. I mean, we laugh at Adam for saying he never made a mistake in his fucking life, but it was Lute who first stated angels don't make mistakes, somehow keeping a serious face. I think Lute seems smart because she's more quiet and cares about the rules, but she doesn't do logic very well either and can be impulsive too, as shown in the end of ep. 1.

They're probably each other's best/only friend, because they're just so unlikeable. And it makes sense they'd deeply care for one another. They care about that person that stands them and agrees with them and actually enjoys being with them. They're always seen together, hanging out even off duty. They clearly have a lot of fun.

I'll be honest. I ship GuitarSpear, I love it, but I don't know if I want it to be canon for 2 reasons:

1. Lute might be a lesbian.

She is so repulsed by homosexuals that it feels personal. Talking about how disgusting and blasphemous Charlie and Vaggie's love is, or how many cocks were in Angel's mouth and calling him a whore. She cares too much about it for it to not be personal, and I think it makes sense that she'd be a closet lesbian with a shit ton of internalized homophobia. She probably knew about Vaggie's sexuality and held a lot of resentment towards her before tearing off her wings. Maybe she was even attracted to her and was so repulsed about it that she redirected her self-hatred to Vaggie.

2. I think it could be better for Adam's character.

Let's just think about it. This character has a very distorted view of women, he has a fixation on them and hypersexualizes them. So the idea of this horny man, who always sees women with sex colored glasses, being good friends with a hot female below him in the hierarchy with no sexual or romantic interest whatsoever is nice to me. It'd work as sort of a redeeming quality in regards of his relationship with women, and I personally think this man is very redeemable. Let's hope he gets a second chance!

Still! All of this trust and comfort and team feelings can be read as romantic and I certainly wouldn't mind if it becomes canon! They could be the best villain couple!

Summarizing, these two are soulmates, end of the story. They're worse together, but also probably provide the other of a very needed company.

I have no clue if Adam will actually come back, but if he doesn't, I'll feel very bad for Lute. Yeah, yeah, she's an evil bitch, I don't care.

Need i say more:)))??!?! started out as a "haha funny slip-up ship" to "hey they got really good angst potential". The friends/lovers to enemies to lovers is STRONG with this one n i am eating up everything i could found on ao3. Smth bout this macho-ass man finally getting to stay back n not take charge for once feel nice, also princess Adam supermacy wooooo. Whoever came up with the ship name i applaud u cause that's like a 3 layers name(ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

It's not an Adamsapple fic without Adam having at least 1 mental breakdown n Lucifer have his guilt eating him alive:)))

Very fucked up torture but i swear it worth the pain:D The dove is so dead it start to rot so plz read the tags properly (plz check out the AngeliaDark other works too they got good shit)

Litteraly my first Hazbin ship, assholes in love is an underrated dynamic we desperately need more off:))) That with a dash of evil dude x loyal subordinate (which i havent seen since the Deathglare days) n opposite attract (look they have one main thing in common is that their extreme bloodthirst, other than that she's stricter than ur mom n he's lazier than the Sloth ring itself but that the beauty of it no? He convince her to chill tf out n not to burst a blood vessel, she keep him on track n make sure Sera dont come on their asses)

They're just being silly enabling each other terrible behaviour n i love that for them (´▽`ʃ♡ƪ) Litteral besties i tell ya

I dont care what yall said they love each other throughout Eden n Earth , might have a falling out in heaven but that doesnt change the fact that they were once IN LOVE. Honestly why cant we just have a couple that have the same bright-eyed innocence like one another.I refuse to believe Eve like willingly cheat on Adam with malicious intent n all, simply she was indeed ''tricked'' or just not fully understand the sistuation, n Adam love her way too much to think that she would do that to him like Lilith. Hell the dude was heartbroken after L left , starting the abandonment issues, so he would have cling to Eve, doing everything so that he aint alone again, even if that mean leaving Eden

Honestly it pisses me off that the Adam/Eve tag on ao3 most of the time is just 1 dialouge between them back when Eve bit the apple n thats it no elaboration on the couple whatsoever >:(((

Someone requested an Adam x Lute fanchild, so here she is! I tried my best to make her look like both of her parents.

My mom even helped me pick a name for her!

Adam and Lute had Grete before extermination day during Season 1. She was 4 years old when Adam died.

Despite extermination day being cancelled, Lute still trained Grete on how to fight for self defense and to also get revenge on the demons in hell.

Grete works out very often.

Lute taught Grete to hate demons and sinners.

She used to be close with Emily since Emily often babysits her.

Grete and Maxxy Morningstar HATE each other because of their parents history.
