I would pay such good money for confirmation of whether Ratio and Aventurine have worked together before Penacony. How did it happen??? The talks that went on before Final Victor... The initial spark of inspiration to stick Those Two Guys together...

Like, I just have to know if someone in the IPC deliberately tossed Aventurine and Ratio on to a team together (with or without good intentions). Are any of the higher ups in the IPC or the Intelligentsia Guild out there counting on this partnership working out for the best?

Cross Guild shipping only gets more hilarious when you think about it from Shanks’ POV

Like, there he is, Red-Haired Shanks, the famous pirate Emperor. He is suave and respected. He can stop a war just by showing up.

He has two loser exes. Loser number one is a great swordsman but also a weird awkward loner. Loser number two is a literal clown.

Somehow, the loser exes both dumped HIM for not prioritizing his own ambitions enough. Neither of them is moved by his status or charm.

And now they’re both in a polycule with some capitalist asshole whose big life accomplishment was being the intro-level dungeon boss for Luffy.

Cross guild is the funniest and most random dynamic to exist ever. How did Oda even come up with the idea like what was the thought process
