@scummy-writes asked me if Kasey and Dahlia would be in the same AU, and I hadn't thought about it before. Soon I was, however, so thanks for that, Scum. lol. I imagined what it would be like meeting each other, basically following Gilbert's route. So, if you haven't read Gilbert's route there are HUGE SPOILERS in this little drabble.
Tumblr media
Gilbert escorted Dahlia to the dining area. It was her first day in Obsidian Castle, having arrived late last night she only had the chance to talk with the Supreme Emperor before she was shown to her room. A proper tour of the castle would take place today, but first they would be having breakfast.
“This is my dining area. You will be joining me here for breakfast and dinner.” Gilbert opened the door for her, though he paused as he picked up the sound of heeled boots clipping quickly up the hallway towards them. “Excuse me a moment, little rabbit.”
Gilbert stepped away from the door and away from Dahlia and braced himself. The footsteps were much closer now and nearly right on top of him and just as he had expected, his younger sibling sprang into his back. Arms slung around Gil's shoulders and legs wrapped around his torso, a blond young man hugged Gilbert from behind.
“Kasey, we have a guest.” Gil somehow managed to stand normal despite the extra unbalanced weight.
Kasey laughed, spying Dahlia over Gilbert's shoulder. “Oh, we do. I didn't notice her from down the hall.” Kasey half-hopped, half-climbed off Gil and straightened their clothes.
Dahlia stood frozen in confusion. Kasey was as tall as Gilbert, maybe even just taller, and they had jumped onto the scariest man on the continent and then laughed about it. And Prince Gilbert seemed to be unphased with the behavior.
“I do apologize. I wasn't aware we had company. And your expression tells me you were also not expecting company.” Kasey smirked amusedly, their red eyes moving from Dahlia to Gil. “Dear brother, you didn't think to continue to avoid me, and after you disappeared without a word those many weeks ago?”
“Ahaha. Starting with the dramatics already are we? You are not owed my schedule.” Gil laughed like he always did–  no, this laugh was easier, somehow. Dahlia felt like this was the first time she saw him actually laugh.
“Don't be so cold.” Kasey put a hand to their chest to mimic pain from a broken heart, though they continued to smile. “A month gone and you didn't write once.”
“Must have slipped my mind.” Gil teased.
“And not even a word about whomever your special guest is.” Kasey turned back to Dahlia holding out their gloved hand as if waiting for her to put her hand in it.
Dahlia glanced between Gilbert and Kasey, gingerly offering her hand to the blond man. Kasey took her by the fingers, their own slender and long, their grip gentle. “Kasey Mailk, Second Prince. I'm charmed.” They pressed their lips to her knuckles, lightly kissing her fingers, their red eyes looking into Dahlia’s fuschia ones.
“Dahlia…” Her name was all that she could think to say at the moment. She had just learned last night that not only was Gilbert the Supreme Emperor, but just now that he had a brother who was honestly so different she was having a problem imagining them being related.
Not only did they not act the same, but they looked nothing alike. She considered the two for a moment, they both had a pretty face and red eyes, but that was the most she could see them sharing. Gilbert cut an imposing figure, while Kasey felt more like Clavis oozing with charm and chaotic rambunctiousness. Gilbert was pale with coal colored hair, and Kasey had more color to their skin with warm honey colored hair.
“Dahlia, hmm?” Kasey smiled with a tilt to their head in a disarmingly charming way. “It appears you're joining us for breakfast. I'd be honored if you'd sit by me so we can get to know one another better.”
“She's my guest, Kasey.” Gil said the words in his usual tone but they felt sharp.
“Oh?” Kasey released Dahlia's hand and looked over at Gil. “Then you have much to fill me in about.”
Tumblr media
Scum nailed Kasey's personality when we were first talking about this, and she said that Kasey's going to figure out that Gil actually loves Dahlia because this is the only person besides them that he's actually protective about. And we all know Kasey's hobby by now, and she would totally try to bed Dahlia, at least until Gil puts his foot down about it. At which point Kasey will go "Oh! Ew! Gross."
The idea was so funny to me, because yes they would! Just like Gilbert thinks love is gross at the start of his route (despite us all knowing he loves MC to some degree), Kasey would be grossed out too. Not because they are the same, but because love is a horrible thing to the both of them. It has only ever caused pain.

Solstice Sweetheart
Happy Secret Santa, Elise! This was such a fun prompt to tackle, and I hope you find as much joy in the New Year as these three <3 O'Darwin belong to @lumosinlove and the Cold Brewed Enchantments/ witchy coffeeshop genderbend AU is credited to the server's lovely minds!
Nat inhaled.
Bottles on the table—mostly. Repurposed jars held most of their previous contents, and those had been scattered to kingdom come since the night began. As they should be, of course. He could think of nothing worse than a mediocre solstice party. Awkwardness was born and bred in the cliquey little huddles of a party gone wrong.
Nat exhaled.
None of that, now. The house was still standing. People had fun. Out-of-control spellwork had been kept to a dull roar, even after the firewhiskey made an appearance. He could feel, deep in his soul, that it had been a good night.
Glass chimed in the other room. Kasey, if Nat had to guess. That sound had the hallmarks of her careful handling all over it. Alex was somewhere on the stairs if the heavy footsteps were any indication. If she was untangling the streamers from the banister, Nat was going to…he didn’t even know, anymore. He had spent the better part of a year since Alex’s arrival in their little town trying to figure out what the hell was going on between his girlfriend and the gorgeous new girl, with naught but a spinning head to show for it.
They knew each other. Kasey had told him that much. The dulled gray-blue of her tone said more than words could.
Soft humming floated through the empty doorframe. The gentle rasp of Alex’s voice had such a lovely color to it, like fresh maple syrup or crystalline honey. It glowed against the jewel tones of the rest of her—rich, curling clues tucked in tight next to sparking reds.
Kasey’s braid caught the light when she turned, only just visible through the kitchen doorway. Nat had loved that about their house since the first day; so few doors to still the air. Something was always in motion, always making noise. He wished Kasey could see it—the brilliance of sound, the cool shades of her voice—but she just seemed to like it so much when he described it.
And maybe that was something just for him to cherish. Their life clung to the ceiling corners like cobwebs. Words and music and laughter. A snippet of Kasey singing ‘happy birthday’ had been lingering in the dining room window since the summer.
“Winter!”
An electric blue comet zipped from the stairs to the kitchen sink.
“What?” came the mossy wave of Kasey’s answer.
“Knutty promised pastries for us tomorrow! She’s trying new recipes. Needs extra mouths.”
Alex would need more hands if she was trying to text Leo and clean at the same time. Nat gathered an armful of empty bottles off the table and dumped them into the recycling bin before turning to the staircase, where one sneaker-clad foot was barely visible through the slats in the railing.
“New recipes?” he asked.
Alex’s face popped into view. Still freckled, even in the dead of winter. Nat felt his stomach perform a funny little flip-flop over itself at her bright smile. “Oh, hey!”
Orange and gold fireworks, crackling about her head. “Thanks for cleaning that up.”
“Ah, don’t worry about it.” Alex’s vague wave sent a curlicue of taupe his way. His mouth tanged with citrus when it reached him. “Least I can do.”
“None of the other guests stayed to help,” Nat pointed out, bending to collect a few paper crowns.
“None of the other guests are as gracious as me.” Her smile was quick and mischievous, but genuine. How often had Nat thought the same of its owner? “Get up here, Music Man. Where’s your solstice sweetheart?”
“Downstairs, with the dishes.”
Alex pulled a face that made her pointed nose wrinkle. “I told her I’d handle those.”
“Clearly it worked,” Nat teased. “Don’t feel too bad. You know how she gets around the solstice.”
A test. Just a teeny-tiny-itty-bitty maybe of a test. Alex’s fond smile was far and away the best answer. “Yeah,” she said, darting a grin toward Nat. “You’re a lucky one, Darcy. It ain’t easy being a seasonal delight.”
“I think she’s pretty great all year.”
“Good answer.”
It was times like this when Nat wondered if Alex could see what he saw. Or at least, if she understood. Dark topaz eyes ticked along the path of pensive purple.
Alex had been speaking in purple a lot, lately. He knew why. Even without his gift, he’d be a fool to miss the way she reached, hesitated, ached for Kasey now that their distance could be measured in inches instead of borders. It pulled at them both, torn edges of the past snagging on the present. He knew what it felt like to match himself to Kasey’s steady keel and let her draw him through her oceans. Alex spoke like someone who had swum those waters before, unafraid that Kasey would ever close the ice around her.
Nat…wanted that. For himself, and a laughed morning, Music Man held in golden parentheses, but more than that, for Kasey. She deserved so much. He could give so much. But if Alex had ridden out the storm and found harbor in Kasey’s heart enough to linger after all these years, Nat would be worse than a fool to let that fall away for his own sake. He could love them both.
Did.
Would.
“Nathaniel.”
“Alexandra.”
“You’re thinking at me.”
“You’re in love with my girlfriend.”
Alex’s hands never stuttered on the loops of ribbon. “Yes.”
Butter yellow. A pastel, more tender than her heavy saturation, but unyielding. “You didn’t stay here just to be a good guest.”
“No.”
Dandelion cradled in blush pink. “You’re in love with me.”
“Yes.”
She didn’t whisper. He didn’t know why he thought she would. Alex never whispered. She was far too vibrant for it to do any good. It didn’t matter if she was banging on their door to drag them out for a taste of Leo’s kitchen witchery or falling asleep on their throw pillows in her fox form—wherever Alex was, the world grew brighter.
“You should tell her,” Nat said.
“I won’t get in the way of what you have.”
“You won’t,” he agreed. It had lacked the fuzzy edges of a question, but that didn’t matter. Anything, as long as she understood.
“It’s—” The maroon undercurrent of her voice curdled mauve. Her gaze fell on him with the weight of a feather alighting on the water. “It was before you. I let her go. It’s okay.”
“Alexandra.” An old joke between them, perhaps too flirty for simple friends. Nat propped his chin on the end of the railing and made sure she was looking, really looking, before he continued. “I’m in love with my girlfriend, and I’m more in love with you every time you come by, and I’m pretty sure our solstice sweetheart has been head over heels for you since the day you met.”
Alex’s lips pressed together, but the smile ticking at the corners betrayed her.
“It seems like a waste to sit here and be sad on the stairs when Kasey Winter is in the kitchen and waiting for you to say something,” he finished quietly.
His heart should be racing. His stomach should be in knots, all aflutter the way it had been when he first asked Kasey out. But with Alex looking at him like she could hardly believe the marvel of her ears, he found only calm waiting.
“Yes.”
Crimson bloomed around the word. Alex was so sure of herself—Nat thought he might love that most about her, from not-so-sneaky tips stuffed into her sister’s café jar to her utter confidence that whatever new drink she brought to their doorstep would be the most delicious thing they had ever tasted. She was unfailingly correct. His eyes flickered to her mouth.
“What are you waiting for?” she challenged.
“Kasey first.” She deserved so much.
Alex’s smile grew, and she pushed herself up with a “don’t have to tell me twice” that flashed peacock through the stairwell. Peacock, like Kasey’s laughter on the first day of winter when her magic was thick and strong in her veins. Nat was pretty sure some part of his heart beat just to hear that sound and watch it coat their home.
He was already reaching for the ribbon where she left off when Alex’s hand closed around his wrist and dragged him after her. He couldn’t help a laugh and didn’t particularly want to—turquoise shimmered ahead of them where Kasey was singing along to the record player under her breath. What a thing to have waiting.
“Winter.”
Kasey looked up, a casserole dish held in both hands under the warm water. Her eyes darted between them; a golden brow arched. “What did you…”
It took two steps for Alex to close the distance between them. She shut the faucet off and took Kasey’s hands from the sink, holding her wrists between them without a care for the water dripping on them both. “Please?” came the lilac-soft request.
Any other time of year, and Kasey might have questioned it.
The solstice lined her in threads of gold and blue. Her cheeks were round and flushed pink with power, and her hands were steady despite the anticipation that quickened her breath when she looked to Nat, then back to Alex, then to Nat once more. “You spoke?”
“Yeah.”
Kasey leaned in and kissed her without a moment’s hesitation.
Nat watched Alex’s ribs expand to accommodate a deep breath in—tiny crystals of ice began budding in the water droplets on Kasey’s skin as she cupped her hands around the back of Alex’s head and exhaled, long enough for steam to billow up between them. It was kind of the season to let everyone else see how much of a wonder she was.
“Mmm, wait wait wait,” Alex hummed when Kasey began pulling away. She closed her hands around Kasey’s forearms without a care for the chill and kissed the smile from her lips in a burst. “Storm girl,” she whispered with periwinkle fondness that made Kasey blush. Her thumb traced the peony-pink of her cheekbones and Nat steadied himself on the countertop. “Gods and fae, I missed you.”
Nat loved her when she was a chattering fox on their couch, and loved her when she was tall and kind and warm in every word. He loved her when her booming reds mingled with Kasey’s mellow blue in harmony so perfect it struck him silent, just to listen and watch for a second longer.
“Nathaniel!”
When Alex pulled away to launch herself into his arms with a laugh so bright and happy he could see it through closed eyes, he thought he might love her so much he’d burst with it. The solstice was the time of greatest and best change for them. He could think of no better way to start anew than with Alex beside them.

Steeeve part one
Warnings: Descriptions of death, blood, extreme corpse reanimation. Taglist:@skylordgrey @bluegiragi
--
Dusty light filtered in through the shattered window of the old motel room. The smell of mold and mildew clogged up the room as The wolf glanced around. Messed up bed, rotting wall paper, blood splattered, Static filled TV. The wolf stiffened before slowly approaching the TV. The scent of blood grew thicker and thicker. He glanced around before, there. Directly across from the TV was a corpse. Claws marks marred their neck, and their intestines were cooling in the air. Their limbs had been shorn off, as well. Poor Bastard. The wolf jumps as a weak moan fills the air. The wolf watches with wide eyes, as the body's muscles twitch. As limbs slowly drag themselves back into place before threads of muscle and vein anchor joints in place while bone crunches back into place. The body gives a violent twitch as their guts twitch and squirm like eels right back into the hollow cavity of their chest. Flesh and muscle knit itself closed, as if the wounds never happened. The body jerks forward with a sharp gasp, blood splattering as they violently cough up chunks of coagulated blood and chips of ruined bone. The wolf back pedals, gun raised as the once corpse, now living person groans before slumping back against ruined bedding.
"Well shit." The person dead pans, "I wasn't expecting guests."
--
Sage flicked her tail in agitation as she paced a tight circle around the table. “He should be back by now.”
“Captain, relax. Steve is on his way back.” Kasey hummed.
“But what if something happened? This place is whole damn melting pot of curses, bad luck, and fucking zombies of all things.”
“Captain, Steve is a werewolf. I don’t think the shambling corpses around here are going to be much trouble for him.”
“We don’t know tha-.” A knock echoed through the little space that barely contained the centaur and the witch. Immediately, Sage was at the door as Kasey aimed her shotgun at the door.
Sage twisted the doorknob and stepped behind the door as she opened it. Kasey eyes widened as she took in Steve’s appearance. Blood spattered and huffing as if the wolf had sprinted back to base.
“Steve?” The werewolf nodded as he lumbered into the space, absentmindedly shutting the safe house door behind himself. The wolf was half shifted, heat rolling off his hunched form as he stood awkwardly in the middle of the kitchen space. Sage narrowed her eye’s as she noticed something. No, Steve wasn’t hunched. There was something curled and clinging to his back.
“Steve, what is on your back?” Sage spoke calmly, as if to not frighten the wolf.
The werewolf just hummed as he reached up and messed with a few buckles on his vest. “Found a friend.”
“A friend?” The lump on Steve’s back hit the floor with a thump, landing on unsteady feet. They tipped back just a second before quickly righting themselves.
Steve slumped in a chair. The chair creaking under his weight as he motioned to the person standing. “Well introduce yourself, kid.”
--
Avery took a deep breath as they entered Sage’s office. A wide space big enough to comfortably house the Centaur. “You called, Captain?”
“I’m not your captain, Little mouse. At least not anymore.” Sage was behind her desk, a mound of paperwork scattered before her.
Avery tilted their head in confusion. “Not anymore, ma’am?”
Sage motioned for Avery to come closer. “You’re being transferred to a squad outside of Atheset cove. You will be considered a Private Contractor to support this squad. The only one who will be aware of your original squad will the CIA station chief who has perview over this squad, other than that you will keep it quiet.”
Avery nodded. “Understood, ma’am. Why am I being transferred, if you don’t mind me asking?”
Sage hummed as she gathered a few files together. “They need a witch. Apparently, their last one had a breakdown in the field and until they are recovered, you will be filling in.”
Avery took a moment to process. “What kind of witch, exactly?”
“A combat witch, though I would still be cautious. You specialty tends to disturb people. With that being said, there is one rule You will follow. You, under no circumstances, are allowed to die in any capacity, am I clear little mouse?” Sage reassured and warned.
“Like Crystal, ma’am.”
--
Price bit his cigar as he watched the newest member of the 141 move through the days obstacle coarse. A PMC briefly filling in while Gary was on leave til he recovered. Laswell had recommend them, but the dragon still held his doubts. His tail lashed behind him as He watched the witch hit the ground again. He didn't doubt their capability as an operative but he had yet to see any form of actual magic use from them.  No spellcasting, no last ditch spark to catch themselves, not a single moment of distortion of anything. He was beginning to question if Laswell even had the right information. Finally he had had enough.
"Scott Stop! Come Here!" He watched as the rest of the taskforce froze before the witch dropped from the wall they were climbing and made their way towards him.
"Sir." They stood before him, relaxed and loose but fully attentive.
Price pinched the bridge of his nose. "I will be blunt. Are you a witch or not?"
They cocked their head to the side. "I don't understand, sir. What are you asking?"
Price huffed a breath, smoke trickling out the side of his mouth in his irritation. "Can you actually use magic, Scott! Or Am I wasting my time?"
They stiffened before nodding. "Understood, sir."
The dragon blinked as they took a step back. "Can I run on my own, sir?" The rest of the squad was already over the run of the course and calmly waiting a decent distance away. Price nodded before freezing. "Against an opponent."
"What kind of opponent, Scott?"
They tilted their head as if it was obvious. "A combative one, sir."

NITA STRAUSS Recruits Singer KASEY KARLSEN For Upcoming 'Summer Storm' Tour
Tumblr media
Nita Strauss has recruited a vocalist named Kasey Karlsen to join her onstage during the guitarist's upcoming "Summer Storm" tour.
In a Twitter message introducing Kasey, Nita wrote: "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome Kasey Karlsen to the squad!!
"Kasey will be holding down the vocal duties on the upcoming Summer Storm tour starting next month!!"
Strauss added: "We needed someone fearless and versatile for this tour who could handle tons of different vocal styles, and if you've seen Kasey's videos you already know she can do it all. She is going to destroy these stages and we are beyond excited to have her with us!!"
Karlsen has a half a million followers on TikTok where she posts vocal covers of such acts as SLIPKNOT, MOTIONLESS IN WHITE, BRING ME THE HORIZON and ICE NINE KILLS.
The "Summer Storm" trek will kick off on June 13 in Nashville and wrap up on July. 14 in New Orleans. Support on the tour will come from LIONS AT THE GATE, the new band featuring former ILL NIÑO members Cristian Machado (vocals),Ahrue "Luster" Ilustre (guitar) and Diego Verduzco (guitar),alongside bassist Stephen Brewer (WESTFIELD MASSACRE) and drummer Fern Lemus.
Nita will release her sophomore solo album, "The Call Of The Void", on July 7 via Sumerian Records. The LP features guest appearances by IN FLAMES vocalist Anders Fridén, former MEGADETH guitarist Marty Friedman, HALESTORM frontwoman Lzzy Hale, Alice Cooper, DISTURBED's David Draiman, Dorothy, Alissa White-Gluz of ARCH ENEMY and Chris Motionless of MOTIONLESS IN WHITE.
Regarding the album's title, Strauss shared: "Have you ever been at the top of a high building and had the fleeting thought, '… I could jump right now?' This feeling is sometimes called 'The Call Of The Void,' also known as 'high place phenomenon.' It's not a suicidal impulse, rather the exact opposite — a subconscious decision to live your life, to step back from the ledge, and take control. As researcher April Smith aptly put it: 'An urge to jump affirms the urge to live.'
"I wanted the follow-up to 'Controlled Chaos' to be exciting, new, and fresh, to take listeners to a new place and take myself somewhere new as an artist too. We have some amazing collaborations on this album with incredible musicians, as well as the instrumental guitar music that first inspired me to play.
"Some pieces of music come into the world gracefully and easily. This album is not one of them! 'The Call Of The Void' was born kicking and screaming, a labor of love for sure, but also of blood, sweat and plenty of tears. I couldn't be more proud of the end result. Making this album helped me learn and grow so much as a musician and songwriter and I'm excited to finally unleash it on the world."
In early December 2022, Nita told "The Mistress Carrie Podcast" about her decision to make the upcoming LP half vocal songs and half instrumental: "I did feel, and the label and everybody agreed, it's still important for me to keep my identity as a guitar player and not just branch off too much and go, 'Okay, well, now it's just guests.' Let me still have a little of what makes me me, which is the instrumental shred stuff. And the instrumental pieces that I've written on this record are, I think, better than anything I did on the first one — definitely more… I don't know if it could be more emotional but they're very emotional pieces of music and I think a little better crafted this time around. So I think all the songs in general are more well thought out, better put together this time around. And I do have some of my absolute favorite [singers guesting on it]."
Nita released 2018's "Controlled Chaos" to mass acclaim from fans and media alike, with Metal Injection calling it "a great debut that — as its creator intended — leaves no doubt", and Guitar World stating "'Controlled Chaos' is a panoramic view of Nita Strauss's many strengths".

Nuptials Of Blood, Chapter 6
Kasey
As the last verse or two of the song plays, the manor appears in our view. Holy crap! That's not a manor, that's a mini castle!
"Nadia! What website did you find this on?"
"Technically it was Jeremy that found it."
"Okay, what website did he find it on and how did he find it?"
"Technically, Jeremy didn't find the manor. The manor found him."
"Excuse me? How did the Manor find him?"
"I dunno, but somehow the Manor found him." Oh my God, there is a good chance we may die here. I got to stop watching True Crime. The driver stops the car and helps us get our stuff out. I try to a picture of the license plate when I bumped into someone behind me.
"Oh, sorry Sir!"
"You really need to watch where you're going." Asshole!
"Sorry, didn't even though you were behind me. You don't need to be rude about."
"Ma'am--"
"Renfield, be nicer to our guests." I look over at the people walking towards us. I'm going to assume that's our hosts. I see the dark-haired woman walk towards me. I put my phone in my purse to hold my hand to shake hers.
"Hi, you're Viktoria Deville?"
"Why, yes I am."
"I'm Kassandra Larson. The two that are dancing like lunatics are Shannon Fuller and Nadia Larson, and the girl that needs to get off her phone for ten minutes is Sienna Fuller." We stop shaking hands.
"Ah, Kassandra. The one who's been Mr. Brooding for the past month is my little brother, Walter." I shake his hand. Wow, really strong grip. Grandpa would be proud. Although he has a firm grip, there's something off about him. I mean there's something off about all three of them but, he's making me really wonder if we should just go back home now. He doesn't seem like a bad guy but, there's a reason why the term, Devil in disguise exists. I stop shaking his hand.
"And the Pomeranian is our baby sister, Lucy." I end up getting hugged by her.
"Wow, you give really tight hugs. You would get well with my Uncle Rhett." The woman known as Lucy stops hugging me when she gets pulled off by her siblings. So, Viktoria is the oldest, Mr. Deville's the middle, and Lucy's the baby. Interesting.
"Thank you for understanding when we had to change the reservation three weeks ago."
"Not a problem. I'm sorry about your cousin's situation."
"Thank you, I mean." I kinda look at Nadia while talking to Viktoria.
"She was with him for 2 years and she did really love him. She seems to be getting over him, but it will take a while." I notice Mr. Deville's expression towards Nadia.
Viktoria
"She was with him for 2 years and she did really love him. She seems to be getting over him, but it will take a while." I notice Walter's expression towards Nadia. I also notice that Kassandra seems to be very wary about Walter. As much as I love my brother, I wouldn't blame her. Especially since I can now tell that Mr. "Can't keep it in his pants" is out and Mr. Brooding is gone for now.
"I see. Reinfeld, will you escort our guests to their rooms? So they can unpack before Supper."
"Of course, Madam Deville."
Kasey
"I see. Reinfeld, will you escort our guests to their rooms? So they can unpack before Supper." She have something in common with Grandma.

Nuptials of Blood, Chapter 1
Kasey
"Miss. Larson, we liked your manuscript but,the events in your memoir seem all too fictional to be real." Fictional? FICTIONAL! Please, I wish it was all just fiction. My family is as messed up as it is written in my memoir, but whatever, I guess. I toss my original copy of my manuscript onto the front passenger seat of my car. 10th publisher that has rejected my book. I open my glove box and pull out one of my many packs of gum. I open the pack I grabbed and grab a stick of gum. I put the pack back and close the glove box. I unwrap the stick and stick it in my mouth. I begin to chew it furiously. I hear my phone buzz. I grab my purse and dig through it to find my phone. When I find my phone, I see a notification from Instagram. I open it and see it's an instant message from a user called Greek Warrior?
Greek Warrior: Hey Cutie 😘 Ugh. It's from Andrew, my ex.
"We broke up two years ago, Andrew! Move on!" I toss my phone back into my purse and turn the car on. Andrew and I broke up due to personal reasons, mainly because I thought he might have been cheating on me but I can't prove whether or not he was cheating. After we broke up, I started to work on my memoir that I'm having a hard time finding a publisher that’s willing to publish it. I've been on the journey to get this publish for at least over a year now. Took me a year to write it and now it's taken me a year so far to get it publish. I pull out of the parking spot and out of the parking lot. I hear my phone buzz a lot but, can't look at my phone right now, I'm driving. While driving home, I see a billboard for an upcoming rom-com. Another cheesy romance movie...Maybe I've been single for too long. Haven't really dated anyone since Andrew. Maybe I can find a date for Nadia's wedding? How am I going to find a date in three weeks?
After a few red lights, I finally pull into the parking lot of the apartment that I currently share with Shannon and Sienna. I moved out of my parents house when I was 22 after I graduated college with my English degree. That was 4 years ago which means that I'm currently 26. I had originally bought the apartment for myself but, a year into me living there, Shannon and Nadia moved in with me much to my Aunt Felicia and Uncle Knox's forced advice. So, Shannon's been living here for 3 years and Nadia moved out a year ago to live with her soon to be husband. Shannon's a 25 year old freelance animator while Nadia's a 25 year preschool teacher. Shannon got their degree in art and went to art school while Nadia got her degree in education and early childhood studies. Sienna moved in 2 years ago, shortly before I broke up with Andrew and after we met Nadia's soon to be husband, Jeremy. My aunt Felicia bribed me to let her move in with me. Sienna is a 23 year old professional cheerleader for one of the minor league football teams. Sienna, I guess, went to college.  Her major I believe is still along with what she does for a job currently. I love Sienna dearly, but I do tend to tune her out a lot. While I'm trying to find a spot, I see Nadia's car? Why is she here at 10:30 at night? I thought she would be at home with Jeremy. I finally pull into a spot, turn off my car, take off my seatbelt, grab my stuff, and get out of my car. I walk over to my apartment building, unlocking it so I can get in. I walk up the stairs to the 3rd floor and walk to apartment 3D. I unlock the door and walk in.
"Hey guys, I'm home." I put my stuff down and why do I see Nadia's stuff here? I look up and see Nadia crying on Shannon's shoulder. I put my stuff and walk over to the couch where they're sitting. Sienna's busy doing something on her phone, as usual.
"Nadia? What's wrong? Why are  you here at almost 10:40 at night? Shouldn't you be at home with Jeremy?" Nadia breaks out into a loud sob before she answers my questions.
"WE BROKE UP!"
"You what now?"

Kasey(Kassandra Larson) and Walter Deville from my current fanfic, Nuptials Of Blood. Made Walter look more like Harry Hook but, luckily that both characters have the same actor.

Nuptials Of Blood, Chapter 11
Walter
I've been trying to find Nadia all over the estate and so far, I can't find her. I'm guess she might be in her room. I open the door without knocking because what I need to discuss with her is very important.
"Nadia, there's something important we need to discuss..." I just walked in on Kassandra being nude.
"Nadia, what have I told you about —KNOCKING!" Kassandra covers herself with the towel. Because of what I have seen, I have already forgotten why I even came in here.
Viktoria
"Nadia, what have I told you about — KNOCKING!" And he did it again. Great. I put my book down and stand up.
"Lucy!"
"Yea?"
"Come along."
"He did it again?"
"Yes, he did it again." I head for the Larson's room with Lucy right behind me.
Kasey
Oh shit, I just flashed Mr. Deville! Great. Flashing one of our hosts was the last thing I wanted to do this week. I'm already red from embarrassment.
"Mr. Deville, why are you in here? Besides this is your home but, still. Why are you in here?"
"I uh, uh." Has he always have fangs since we've met him? Because I don't remember seeing those on the first day we got here. I make the mistake of looking down and well, we don't have to figure out if he's a biological guy or not. Even though that was never a worry since I don't think any of us were planning on sleeping with him. Lucy and Viktoria come running in.
Viktoria
Lucy and I come running in. I see that we're too late. Walter is already mentally gone.
"I'm sorry about him. He does have manners but, tends to not use them."
"Quick question, do all three of you have fangs?" And Walter just almost outed that we're vampires. Okay, need to think of a quick lie which I know of one I can use.
"Yes, it's hereditary. We come from a long line of-"
"Canines." Really, Lucy!
"We're not dogs. Great Grandpa was not a dog. There were rumors about him having relations with a dog but, he was not a dog."
"Wasn't he also accused of having relations with some one who acted like a-" I cover Lucy's mouth with my hand, mainly because I know what she was going to say.
"Yes, he was. But, even then that person wasn't a dog." I uncover my hand from Lucy's mouth and make the mistake of looking down at my brother. Well, we know what sex of the human species he prefers and that part of him isn't dead.
"We're sorry about him and we will going now." I grab Walter by his shoulder and just start dragging him with Lucy trailing behind.
Kasey
Viktoria, Lucy, and horny Mr. Deville leave the room. Lucy closes the door behind her. I lock the door. Don't want to take a chance that Nadia or the others aren't going to barge while I'm not decent. I take off the towel, change into the clothes that I grabbed from my bag, hang up the towel, unlock the door, walk out of the room, and close the door behind me.
Viktoria
I don't stop dragging my brother along until we get to his room.

Did we know that Nicole Branch was also at the Kasey Musgraves concert in Nashville? The one where Harry made a guest appearance to sing Space Cowboy? They readlly did travel in the same circles and managed to coincidentally be in the same places all over the world at the same time.

Even Heroes Have the Right to Dream: Chapter 11
Don’t you turn like Orpheus; just stay here.
First, Previous, Next. Ao3.
Story under read-more.
“Wait, shut up, Wayne?! Like, Wayne Enterprises Wayne?!”
Jon grins nervously. “…Surprise?”
“You’re telling me tween wrath Damian, your Damian, the Damian I’ve been making fun of for months, is Damian Wayne?” Marinette shrieks, pulling at her hair. “Oh, my god. He’s a hero. The Waynes are the Gotham heroes. I’m going to- I’m going to go die now.”
Jon sighs. “I did say you’d meet him sooner rather than later.”
“And he’s on his way here?!”
“In hindsight, I should have given you more warning.” Jon admits.
“You think?!”
“In my defense, though, Damian didn’t say anything for certain until like, right now. He only said his folks were interested in you, and I figured he’d give me more info more than ten minutes before he decided to visit.”
The doorbell rings, and Marinette sends Jon a glare as she starts towards the hallway. Unbothered, he’s right on her tail. She’s quick to open the door and greet their guest but stops short when she finally gets the chance to really look at him.
The only other time she’s seen him is back when he showed up in full hero gear, and the mask coupled with Marinette’s instant response to remove herself from anything involving heroes means she didn’t get a very good look at the guy. But here, his black hair is silky and neat, his sharp features cast a striking image that matches what she knows of his personality, and this close to him, she can see the green in his eyes – a deep color that captures one’s attention.
Marinette smiles for him and introduces herself. (“I know.” He says, offering no introduction of his own until Jon pointedly clears his throat and makes it obvious that he’s not going to move out of the doorway until the formalities are met. Marinette doesn’t actually mind, but she appreciates Jon’s dedication to politeness.) Then, she backs up and gestures for Damian to enter the apartment. When he heads straight for the living room, Marinette takes the opportunity to lean close to Jon and whisper. “He’s cute. That crush makes so much more sense now.”
“Shut up!” Jon hisses. “He doesn’t know!”
Marinette hesitates and looks at Damian’s retreating back. “Generally, or about him specifically.”
Jon rolls his eyes. “Him specifically.”
Marinette giggles. “Understood. Let’s not keep him waiting.” She emerges into the living room after Damian and immediately gestures for him to make himself comfortable. “I made cookies.” She says, pointing out the plate on the coffee table. “Help yourself.”
Damian frowns suspiciously at her and the cookies for a moment before slowly reaching out to take one. He nibbles quietly on it, not offering any critique or compliment, watching as Jon and Marinette make themselves comfortable in the room as well. Jon takes the couch with Damian, but only after pulling a chair from their dining table for Marinette to sit on.
“So, Damian.” Marinette says. “Jon’s told me a lot about you.”
Damian nods. “He speaks of you often, as well. I’m sure you know why I’m here.”
“Do I?” Marinette raises her brow at Jon. “Is that something I was supposed to be told?”
Jon gives her that nervous grin he has when he knows he’s in trouble. Damian just eyes that impassively. “I suppose he didn’t tell you.”
“Hey!” Jon protests. “You didn’t tell me! You said maybe like, a month ago. How was I supposed to know what you’re planning?”
Damian, pointedly unimpressed, clicks his tongue sharply. “Miss Dupain-Cheng. I’ve been sent to represent my family in a business proposition.”
“A business proposition?” Marinette echoes, unimpressed. Business with the Waynes is a big deal, of course, and internally she’s can feel the familiar excitement and panic prick at the inside of her ribcage, but the way Damian talks, so cold and steely and unemotive, it makes it feel a lot less exciting than it should be. It sets her on edge, and paired with all the stories of young Damian she’s heard from Jon… well, business with the Waynes may be a big deal, but Marinette is already doing well. It may very well be more trouble than it’s worth if Damian isn’t significantly better than he’s appearing. (Who knows what the rest of the family is like, if this is who they send to talk to her?) “What kind?”
“A commission. My father endeavors to support up-and-coming names in many industries. Those less fortunate than us who have to work much harder to find success in business.” Excuse me? Marinette’s brows shoot to the sky as she looks Damian up and down again. It doesn’t look like he’s trying to offend, but then, rich people rarely do. It’s all veiled with people like this, always with some other goal.
When Marinette was with Adrien, she met many people who talk like this. Backhanded insults laced into self-aggrandizement meant to sound charitable. It pissed Marinette off back then, and she doesn’t much like it any more now. “Your name has recently come to his attention.” Damian continues, as if he hadn’t said anything amiss. “And he asked me to approach you, since we have a mutual friend.” Marinette crosses her arms and leans back in her chair, just waiting for him to finish. “Several of our family are hosting a Christmas gala. Would you be able to make their outfits for the event?”
Marinette shares a look with Jon, who shakes his head. She just rolls her eyes. “Depends. Are you asking me because of my work, because I’m friends with Jon, or because I’m so much ‘less fortunate’ than you?”
Damian blinks at her, lending credence to Marinette’s theory that he just legitimately doesn’t think about the words out of his mouth.
She sighs. “Normally, someone who talks to me like that would be on a block list.”
“Talks to- Like what?” Damian asks.
“Like I’m beneath them because I’m not wealthy.” She says simply.
“Hey, Marinette…” Jon interjects. “Don’t you think that’s a little far?”
Marinette shrugs. “What part of all that about how charitable and generous his family is was necessary to ask for a commission?” She keeps her voice casual, like she’s only talking to friends. It’s easy to do, even with Damian, since she already feels like they kind of are. It makes it easier to be honest up front, too. “It’s posturing, and condescending. I dated a famous rich guy for six years; I’m beyond sick of that. Plus, and I hope you’ll forgive me for saying this, Damian, I wouldn’t if we weren’t already sort of familiar with each other through Jon, but there’s something about you… you’re just so… punchable. I don’t hold it against you, but it makes you sound more condescending than I think you mean to be.”
She says it to annoy him. To test him, because she’s heard stories and she wants to know if she can really stand him. The stories are old, and she knows very well how he’s changed (from Jon’s perspective, at least) but Damian still looks severe and cold, so she’s wary. For his part, though, Damian curls his lip in a strange expression between rage, confusion, shock, and something else that looks strangely like admiration.
“Anyway,” Marinette says airily, “I feel like, given our mutual friend, you should at least give me the basic respect of talking to me like a normal person. I know this is technically the first time we’ve met, but that blatant dishonesty is really annoying, even to strangers.” Marinette rolls her eyes. “Don’t think I didn’t notice that you never actually mentioned my work. You just gave me platitudes about how great your father is and pointed out that Jon’s probably the only reason my name is on your radar. Understand why someone might take offense to that?”
Damian narrows his eyes at her. Jon chews nervously at his nails, eyes darting between the two of them. The air is tense and thick until, finally, Damian cuts through it. “Very well. I see your point.”
“Good.” Marinette says, a little surprised that he actually concedes. “Now because of our mutual friend, and because I don’t actually think you meant to offend, if you want to talk about a commission, we can.” She sighs. “I apologize if I stepped over a line. With how much Jon talks about you, I feel like I know you, if only a little.”
Damian purses his lips. “No, it’s quite alright. I should have chosen my words better. I had no intention of offending.”
“Wow!” Jon says with false cheer. “Look at that! We’re all friends, already!”
The corners of Damian’s lips twitch into what might almost be called a smile. “I see why you care so much about her. She is certainly…” His eyes find her and drill into her like he’s looking for her innermost secrets, “impressive.”
“Right?” Jon says, more relaxed this time. “I keep telling everyone she’s the coolest!”
Marinette feels her cheeks warm. “So, you’re here about a commission. A Christmas party? I assume a formal one. How many outfits?”
There’s a strange look in Damian’s eyes that Marinette can’t quite decipher, but Jon is easy to read. As they talk and conversation flows more smoothly, more like the friends they are, Jon gleams with obvious ecstasy. That his two friends are getting along is clearly cause for celebration for him. Considering it took over two years for them to reach this point, Marinette isn’t all that surprised.
As for Damian himself, Marinette thinks she actually likes him. Jon is right that he’s more mature than his old stories about the pair of them make him sound. Though, Jon is, too, so Marinette really should expect that. He’s an acquired taste, but Marinette understands why Jon is friends with him. She thinks, if Damian wants it too, she could be good friends with him as well.
Kasey finds Marinette in their Knitwear class. Marinette has to admit, she’s not too keen on spending much time with the other girl. Kasey seems like a perfectly nice girl, of course, and Jon seems to especially like her friend, but Marinette has gone two years now at FIT with barely more than acquaintances outside of Jon.
It’s never lonely, though. She tries hard to keep in touch with her friends in Paris and between calling all of them during the day (before it gets too late in Paris) and spending nearly all her evenings with Jon, and studying, of course, which she devotes the bulk of her energy to, she just doesn’t need or have time for a bunch of friends on campus. As such, she tends to treat her classmates professionally. She works to establish a relationship, but only a professional one.
It just feels wrong for now, right after her name gets recognized, to be the time her classmates suddenly invest themselves in friendship with her when they’ve been crossing paths for two years already. It feels insincere. She doesn’t trust it.
“Even if she is motivated by your fame,” Wayzz tells her, “that does not mean we should assume she is not earnest in wanting to be your friend. Perhaps the news simply drew her attention to you, and she saw someone she wanted to be friends with.”
Marinette thinks that awfully convenient for Kasey.
Unfortunately, though, or fortunately for Kasey, they start group projects, and everyone needs a partner. Kasey is the first to ask her to team up, and Marinette respects that Kasey is a good student, so she lets it happen.
As they work together on campus and at Kasey’s place (she’s roommates with both Sam and Louise, Marinette learns) Marinette struggles with a familiar feeling. Kasey is so eager and cheerful and friendly that it’s hard to imagine her having ulterior motives for befriending Marinette. She’s just so earnest that Marinette keeps forgetting she’s supposed to be wary.
In a lot of ways, it reminds Marinette of Kagami. Kasey and Kagami are obviously near polar opposites, but Marinette feels like she’s befriending Kagami again when Kasey worms her way into her friendship. It’s a strange mix of growing closer, wanting that friendship, and stubbornly telling herself that she shouldn’t accept that friendship.
With Kagami, it was because she was a rival. Kagami was a serious threat to Marinette, romance-wise. Adrien openly admits even when they’re together that he and Kagami were more than just friends before he fell in love with Marinette. Even when he was crushing on Ladybug, that was the case. And before she and Kagami became friends, Marinette didn’t think she’d ever be able to get along with her. Simply because, as love rivals, they shouldn’t.
That’s a dumb, ridiculous, middle-schooler train of thought, of course, but it was Marinette’s reality at the time. She’s embarrassed it caused her to treat Kagami with such hostility when that wasn’t necessary from the start.
With Kasey, though, Marinette just can’t convince herself of the other girl’s sincerity. A lot of people will use others just to get a step up, and a lot of them will do it with sweet smiles on their faces. Marinette knows the ones that try to use Adrien, she knows the ones that try to use Kagami, and Chloé. She’s seen her own friends attempt to do the same, albeit without malicious intentions, with Lila.
Even if Kasey is a genuinely kind and wonderful friend, she only talks to Marinette to start with because of Marinette’s fame. Will she abandon Marinette the moment she’s not helpful to her anymore? Will she push Marinette to use her connections to Kasey’s advantage? Those are questions only time can tell, but Marinette isn’t eager to even give time the chance. The answers don’t matter when the questions themselves hurt.
Despite it all, though, Kasey is legitimately so passionate about fashion, so dedicated to improving herself, and so open and friendly that Marinette starts thinking of her as a friend regardless.
“That’s so cool!” Kasey bounces on her toes behind Marinette. She isn’t silent on the approach, but even so Marinette takes a breath to calm her nerves from Kasey coming so close while her back is turned. “Are you going to make it?”
Marinette shifts so that she’s more facing Kasey and looks down at her sketchbook. “I’m thinking about it.”
“For yourself?”
Marinette looks again at the design and laughs. “Nah, leather isn’t my style.”
Kasey’s eyes glitter. “For Jon?”
“Not his style either.” Marinette says. “He’d pull it off, though.” Even if it’s just once, it might be worth putting him in a leather jacket. Or leather pants. She snickers to herself, imagining his face if she gives him leather pants. Oh, that’d be worth it. He’d just look at me like, “Is this really what you think of me?”
“Aw, that’s a shame. He’d definitely pull it off.” Kasey says, sitting down next to Marinette. “Then who would it be for?”
“A friend back home in Paris.” Marinette says. “Kagami doesn’t usually wear leather, either, so it’d still be an exploration for her, but it’d suit her better than Jon or me. I probably won’t make it, though. I can make something better.”
“I think it’s cool.” Kasey says, peering over her shoulder at the design. “What would you change?”
Marinette hums, examining the sketch as well. “If I were committing to making this for Kagami, then… I’d change the silhouette just a bit – shorten this here, bring this in tighter, maybe a belt? Yeah, I like that.” Marinette starts sketching in a corner of the page, smaller, just a rough idea to show Kasey her modifications. “And a lot of the details, like these accents here, would be altered slightly. I might even make it red, but I’d have to think more about that.”
Kasey’s jaw hangs open as she watches the new design take shape. “I would never have even thought of that.” Kasey says softly, mostly to herself.
“Well, you don’t know Kagami. I made those changes with her in mind. If you were designing for one of your friends, you’d think of things I wouldn’t, too.”
Kasey purses her lips for just a moment before she nods resolutely. “You’re right. But that’s so impressive what you can do so quickly! I like this design even better than the original! How long have you been designing?”
“Oh, since I was little.” Marinette giggles. “I used to upcycle my dolls’ clothes all the time, then I started doing it for my own clothes. What about you?”
Kasey grins a little awkwardly. “Honestly, I only got into it in high school. It started with expanding my pockets, then I realized I could make a lot of little alterations that make my clothes better, then I was tailoring my clothes, and now I’m here. Honestly, I’m a much better seamstress than designer. I thought I’d get better here at college, but I don’t think I’ll ever be as talented as you.”
Marinette pats Kasey’s arm. “Don’t be silly. You just said I’ve been designing for what sounds like several times as long as you have. I just have more experience. If you keep at it, you’ll be a brilliant designer. You’re already good.”
“You think so?” Kasey smiles openly, a friendly and earnest and happy smile that warms Marinette’s heart.
“Of course, I do. I mean, look at your dress today! You made this, right?”
Kasey gasps and stands and twirls with a giggle. “You could tell?”
“I could! And I love it! It’s so you!”
Marinette is suddenly tackled, but she just laughs along as Kasey exclaims, “You’re the best, Marinette! I’m so glad we’re friends! I can’t believe I thought you were intimidating.”
“I’m sorry,” Marinette almost chokes on air at the very thought. “You thought I was intimidating?” She stares incredulously at Kasey and gestures to her own tiny frame. “Me?”
“Yes!” Kasey keeps their arms looped together and leans into her shoulder even as she talks. “You’re always so focused in class! And when you’re working. It’s like you’re in and out, no distractions. Plus, I noticed right away how talented you are. You just always had this air of… of… ah…” Kasey frowns and taps her chin with her free hand. “Of, uh, purpose, I guess? Like you’re only here for your education, so even though I always wanted to be friends with you, I assumed you’d just brush me off.”
Marinette is a bit taken aback by Kasey’s confession. “I admit, I had no idea people saw me that way.” Marinette says, carding her fingers through her hair. “Back in Paris, I was always considered one of the most approachable ones out of my friends. To the point where it honestly sometimes got annoying because everything would always go through me even when it didn’t need to.”
Kasey giggles. “Now that I know you better, I totally understand where that comes from. You’re just the sweetest person I’ve ever met!”
Marinette fights off the embarrassment from the compliment and shakes her head. “Thanks. You’re sweet, too.”
“And then you just twist it all together, and it sort of acts like a needle, but there’s no bulky eye that gets in the way.” Jon says, leaning close to Louise on a bench, showing her something on his phone.
Louise’s eyes are wide. “And that’s a boar bristle?!”
“Yeah! Apparently, a lot of things can work. They’re not a replacement for metal needles, of course, but since you’re not actually poking the holes with the needle itself, it doesn’t need to be so firm.”
“That’s so clever! I had no idea they did that!”
“It really is very interesting.” Sam says, leaning over Jon from his other side to look. “You’re so smart, Jon. Where’d you learn this?”
Jon giggles. “YouTube. Then I did some research. I thought Louise would like it.” He nudges Louise playfully with his elbow, making her laugh loudly.
Marinette watches him fondly. She’s considered friendly, at least back in Paris. Most of her friends are more or less brought together by her. They’ve even explicitly called her the center of the large group, but when she watches Jon so effortlessly get along with people, she’s still amazed by him.
Maybe it’s because her ticket to people’s hearts is usually food and gifts, whereas he just charms their socks off with pure personality. Someone so magnetic like that is a special thing.
Marinette and Kasey are separated from the other three just a little, all together in a park at Kasey’s insistence. Marinette and Jon are both well on top of their schedules, so they find no reason to refuse. Kasey sheepishly tugs at Marinette’s sleeve and smiles. “Hey, Marinette… I wanted to talk to you about something.”
The weather getting colder only makes Kasey’s retreat into herself more pronounced as her jacket starts to swallow her. “What is it?” Marinette asks.
Kasey flushes red and twirls her hair. “Ah, well, uh… Jon. Sam is…”
Marinette glances over to the bench where Sam is leaning into Jon, respectfully not touching him, but shifted to face him and leaning forward and laughing and batting her eyelashes and… otherwise is just kind of being obvious. “She likes him?” Marinette guesses.
Kasey covers her face. “Yes. She wanted me to ask you if you’d help set them up. Just a date! See how it goes.”
Marinette sighs heavily, remembering her collège days. Never again. “Look, Kasey…”
“It’s okay! I understand. I thought you might be interested in him yourself, so I figured it was a long shot.”
Marinette frowns. Saying she’s interested in Jon doesn’t bother her, exactly – she certainly doesn’t react like teenage her would have – but it still strikes into her unexpectedly. But there’s more curious about this situation than that. “Why’re you the one asking me? If Sam wants that, she should ask me herself.”
Kasey ducks her head again. “I- I mean… Maybe, but I’m closer with you than she is. She just figured she’s got the best chance this way.”
“Does she?” Marinette purses her lips. Jon isn’t stupid. He’s smart. Maybe not the most adept when it comes to people flirting with him, but he’s not completely clueless. “Weren’t you pretty interested in him when we met?”
Kasey flushes a brilliant crimson and hides once more. “I- well, I- uh… Sam likes him. I’m not going to get in the way.”
Marinette watches the three, entertained a little by how Sam tries to capture Jon’s attention. Unfortunately for her, when he is focused on her he’s just perfectly friendly and polite as always. Hilariously, it’s when he’s focused on Louise that he actually looks engaged and interested. Marinette can see even from some distance away how frustrated Sam is getting from his behavior.
Internally, Marinette tenses and promises to herself to keep watching closely. If Sam escalates out of frustration and crosses the line past Jon’s boundaries, Marinette will step in. She knows Jon can handle himself, but even if she’s not a hero, even if she won’t ever throw another punch in her life, she’s still a guardian. She’s still a protector, and Jon is her best friend. Even just watching this has Marinette itching to go insert herself between the two, to give Jon some distance from her. He’s not overtly uncomfortable, which is why Marinette doesn’t do so, but he’s clearly not interested. Marinette hopes Sam gets the hint.
Frankly, based on this image alone, Marinette will sooner help set Jon up with Kasey than Sam. Though, in her defense, Sam is still respectful about how she flirts, even if she doesn’t back off. Marinette can respect it; she’s not told to back off, after all. Marinette just doesn’t respect it enough to set up her best friend with someone whose advances he’s so obviously unreceptive to.
“Doesn’t look like there’s anything to get in the way of to me.” Marinette says calmly.
Kasey squeaks. “Sam would be angry with me if I tried to make a move. I can’t do that to her.”
Marinette shrugs. That’s Kasey’s decision, ultimately. Marinette isn’t going to encourage more girls to flirt with Jon regardless, since he openly admits to not being interested in a relationship in the first place. Plus, Marinette does understand Kasey’s position. It’s like Marinette and Kagami, back in the day, vying for Adrien’s love. Kagami couldn’t give up despite wanting to stay friends with Marinette, and Marinette felt the same way.
Luckily for them both, Marinette won in the end, and Kagami is no sore loser. They are still great friends to this day because they didn’t let that battle get between them or let themselves get angry at the other. Marinette still looks back on that, occasionally, and wonders if she would have been so graceful had she been the loser. At the time, Marinette has to admit she probably would not have. She likes to think she and Kagami would still be friends in that alternate universe, but the truth of the matter is that she just can’t be sure. Marinette was young then. Young and stupid with love, and that made her do some things she’s still ashamed of.
If Sam really will get angry at Kasey, then Marinette thinks that’s a mark on Sam, and not a mark of a good friend. They’re not kids barely old enough for romance, they’re in their early twenties. A true friend, like Kagami, competes and accepts a loss with grace, not forces their friend out of the competition to start with. It is complicated, though, and Kasey’s decision is a respectable one, too. If it’s done out of concern for Sam, and not out of fear of Sam’s anger.
Though for a normal person, one who has not been through everything Marinette and Jon have, perhaps fear of anger is respectable, too. Marinette decides to be patient with that.
Something about Sam ticks the wrong boxes for Marinette. She’s respectable, refined, and nice enough, and she’s never given Marinette reason not to trust her, even if she can be a bit nosy and forward at times, but even so she rubs Marinette the wrong way. Kasey and Louise don’t, just Sam, which is odd, since Marinette would expect that any malintent would be group wide.
Unless… No. Marinette shuts down that train of thought quickly. She refuses to theorize about how her friends will stab her in the back. She refuses to see enemies in every shadow. That’s not her life anymore.
She’s just paranoid. Remnants from her days as a hero. Still, she’s got a close eye on Sam. Paranoia may be bad, but caution is the only reason she’s still alive. And Sam is still flirting with Jon.
“I can tell her you’re interested in him, though.” Kasey says quietly. “I’m not sure she’ll back off, but she might. It’s pretty clear that he’s most interested in you.”
Marinette just laughs at the very idea. “No offense, Kasey, but I’m not interested in schoolyard drama. Jon and I aren’t a thing, and even if we were,” she looks pointedly to the three on the bench once more, “I’m not threatened by her. Last time I dealt with dumb love drama like this was, god, over eight years ago. I like to think I’m more mature now.”
Kasey looks between her and Sam with thinly veiled shock for a moment before she sighs. “I guess you’re right. It’s silly to fight over a boy, isn’t it?”
“Definitely. Never let a boy come between you and your friends.” Marinette nudges Kasey, smiling. “I learned that way back then. That time I mentioned. My rival at the time was also my friend, and even though the boy we liked ended up choosing me, she never once let it come between us. I was more awkward about it. That’s an example I want to follow.”
“Me too!” Kasey exclaims. “She sounds like a really cool girl!”
“Oh, she is. You’d like her. We’re still great friends.”
“Now I want to meet her!”
The two share a laugh and a connection that convinces Marinette a little more that Kasey really is alright. She actually seems embarrassed to have been focusing so much on all of them liking Jon and Marinette knows simply from how she’s stepping back for Sam that she’s not the type of girl to prioritize a crush over her friendships. It’s reassuring.
It’s also self-sacrificing, which itches under Marinette’s skin like a mosquito. It’s Kasey’s cross to bear, though. None of Marinette’s business.
“Nah, Marinette’s a much better cook than me. Right, Marinette?”
Marinette comes closer to Jon and the others again when he calls out to her. “I’m a better baker, but you’re no slouch for cooking.”
“I didn’t say I was bad.” Jon rolls his eyes. “I’m saying you’re better!”
Marinette laughs. “I’m not going to agree with you, you know. You’ve gotten a lot better since we met.”
“Because you taught me!” Jon insists.
Shaking her head, she ruffles his hair. “Don’t let this goofball be modest.” She says to Sam and Louise. “He’s an awesome cook.”
Jon pouts, frowning up at her through his disheveled bangs.
Marinette winks at him. “What? You may not be able to measure to save your life, but you’ve got good taste.”
“I can measure just fine if I’m not using your weird scale! You’re the one that insists on European recipes.”
“It’s literally two buttons, Jon. It’s not difficult to use.”
“It’s the principle of the matter!” Jon sticks his tongue out at her. “I have to represent my country!”
Marinette dramatically raises her head to the sky and sighs, “Americans.”
Jon starts giggling uncontrollably, which sets all the girls off as well. When that dies down, though, Sam asks, “So what is Paris like? It’s one of the fashion capitals of the world, you must have had so much inspiration.”
Marinette hums in agreement. “I was there during all the Hawk Moth business, not sure how well known that is outside Paris…”
“I know it.” Sam says, eyes turning soft. “I try to keep up with Paris for the fashion, and it came up a few times.”
“Right. The city itself is beautiful, and I have a lot of great memories there, but overall, it’s pretty much like living anywhere else. At least, New York. I do miss the architecture, though, but the big city is the big city. Now, country boy Jon might have some different tales to tell.”
Jon laughs. “I think I told you this our first year, but everything’s so noisy here. Like do New Yorkers ever shut up?”
Sam snorts. “Not a chance.”
He rolls his eyes. “Only thing I really miss is the stars, though. When you’re out in the country, you can actually see the galaxy. It’s amazing.”
“That sounds beautiful.” Sam says, leaning close to him again.
“It is! I like to sit in this tree on the farm and just look out at the stars. Oh, Marinette! You should totally come visit one of these days! You’ll love it there!”
Sam makes a face, but Marinette just laughs. “It sounds nice, but I don’t get much time back in Paris as it is. My friends would be mad at you if you dragged me away during break, too.”
“Hey, if it means I get you for longer then they can just be jealous.”
Despite herself, Marinette blushes at the comment. Sometimes Jon just says the cutest things without even thinking about it. “You’d love Paris, too, you know.” She says. “The history there is all in the architecture. I can already see you geeking out.”
Jon gasps. “Is that an invitation? Can I come to Paris?”
Marinette sighs because she knows if he really wants to go, he can just fly there. It’s not so simple or quick as hopping over to Metropolis or anything, but it’d still be faster than a plane and Jon wouldn’t have to pay for airfare. It’s surprisingly reasonable for Jon to visit her during the holiday. And on her part, she supposes she does have access to the horse Miraculous if she really wants to. So, she humors him. “Maybe someday we’ll have a little exchange. It would be cool to see your farm.”
Jon grins from ear to ear and just about squeals. “You agreed! No takebacksies! This is going to be awesome!”

Hi there. I'm a new fan of Tsubasa's and was wondering where I can watch his movies and shows for free. Thanks and keep up the good work!
Hi @anobodyisthelastthingyouare! Sorry for the late reply, IRL has been a bit busy for me >.
Unfortunately, not everything of Tsubasa’s work is available to watch for free, as some uploaders, such as myself, have stopped sharing some things for various reasons, some are still sharing things they can afford to get, and others don’t share things in the hopes to get others to purchase them if possible :)
But, I will leave a list of all of the stages, musicals, dramas, movies and CDs Tsubasa has been in or done, as well as some of his upcoming work as well! If they’re available, I will leave a link on where you can get it via the original uploaders themselves :D If there is no link beside it, you might want to consider attempting to save up to purchase the DVD if possible!

Hopefully this will allow you to see some of Tsubasa’s work with what’s available :D Although some of the things on this list I do own myself, but I’ve either stopped sharing it (temporarily for various reasons) or I haven’t planned to share them yet.
But as I said before, you can even try to purchase a DVD of one of these things yourself to see it if possible, or DMM is cheaper to stream/download (but you will want to record it as they only last for a certain amount of time) as you can find most of the stages he has done on DMM as well! :)
I hope this helps ♥

Omg Harry is sooo desperate for fans that now he is doing appearances at people’s concerts lmao. He just performed with Kasey M. in Nashville, super random.. random place, random singer. What happened to the guy that will save the music? The best singer in the world? The new jesus? Hshq is freaking desperate.
LOL. He's now a guest performer for someone who opened up for his concert and who got a Grammy before him.

Psycho-Pass Week 2019
Day 1: Red/Strength
Warnings: Series Spoilers, Descriptions and Mentions of Violence and Canon Character Deaths
This story can also be read on AO3
Akane beamed as the teacher patted her head, smiling approvingly as Akane brought the pile of assignments she had collected from her fellow students up to her desk, complementing the red shade of Akane’s sweater before dismissing the class to recess. On the playground outside, while their teacher was otherwise occupied a group of boys, known for being troublemakers, surrounded Akane peppering her with spiteful remarks on her role as teacher’s pet.
“How come you always wear red anyway?... Sybil says it’s not even a good color.” taunted a boy who normally sat several seats behind Akane in class, giving her a forceful shove. Next to him a boy laughed as Akane fell onto her rear with a grunt.
“Stupid, it’s cause of her name.” he said as he elbowed his friend.
The first bully that stood over Akane looked down at her with a smirk. “…Is that it huh? …You have to wear it because it reminds you of your name? That’s dumb.”
“N-no! …That’s not it!” shouted Akane, tears beginning to well in her eyes.
Just then the teacher came over to break up the fight, soothing Akane’s tears briefly before sweeping away toward the principal’s office with the bullies in tow.
Arriving at her Grandmother’s house after school for a planned weekend long stay, Akane took off her cardinal colored sweater, balling it up furiously before hiding it away out of sight in a corner of the guest room closet. Later when Akane and her Grandmother were heading out to get a special treat, her grandmother asked after the suddenly missing garment. At first Akane hesitated to answer, but after some gentle prodding the story of what had happened spilled out, Akane’s lips twisting in distress as she spoke.
With a sigh and a sympathetic smile Akane’s Grandmother pulled the girl into her lap, gently stroking her brown locks until she was calm once more.
“You shouldn’t pay attention to what they say A-chan. I think red is a beautiful color, it symbolizes strength.” said her Grandmother with a smile, as Akane tilted her head back to look up at her. “That’s why your parents chose it for your name.”
“Really?...” asked Akane her eyes widening in childish wonder at the depth of her Grandmother’s knowledge and wisdom.
“Mm-hm.” replied her Grandmother nodding, as she stroked Akane’s cheek. “It’s perfect for a kind, wonderful and strong girl like you.”
Reassured Akane hopped off of her Grandmother’s lap, going to retrieve her sweater from where she had tucked it so that they could set out on their outing.
Over time she learned to ignore the attempts at provocation and the taunting by children who afterwards became mysteriously absent. And then as she and those around her grew older such words became seldom heard, the admiration her perpetually powder blue hue won allowing her to wear the vivid shade without distress.
Now cloaked in coat of blue rather than red, her work at the MWPSB had proved challenging so far, but as the Sybil System had predicted, not beyond her abilities.
Akane stood facing the large oval floor mirror, feeling sick to her stomach as her imagination filled in the appearance of the claret spray that should have covered the spotless room behind her. Following a hunch that Kogami had provided Shoko Sugawara, personified on the commufields as Spooky Boogie, had been found to be murdered, her remains dissolved and drained away down her bathtub’s plumbing. Regret and guilt filled Akane at the fate of the young woman who had only a day or so ago attempted to assist them in capturing the suspect in their case. Thinking back to her school days, Akane vaguely recalled the firey red hair and eyes of her former classmate, though she had not known her well.
 Akane.
Aka.
Red.
Such a small, simple word, carrying with it the meaning of her name.
Until now, it had seemed like such an innocent color, despite the childish teasing it had once provoked.
Makishima’s blade flashed in the light, reflecting a momentary vermillion dyed view of the hollow room before it struck. Yuki’s muffled final cry, though reduced to a wet, bubbling gurgle in her throat, was still echoed by a scream of despair that reverberated shrilly off the red spattered surfaces. And while the evidence no longer remained on the coat that Kogami wore when she saw him later, in her mind’s eye Akane could still recall where each crimson stain of Yuki’s blood had been.
After the disastrous riots that had rocked the city, Makishima’s capture and escape, and Kogami subsequent departure, it had been dark in the office when they had summoned her, their wishes made known via a dominator transportation drone. She had been led down into a brilliantly lit room in which dwelt the heart of the System which governed her country, its form unknown to all but a worthy few. As she stood before them struggling to come to terms with the truth that had been laid before her, the Sybil System coolly informed her that she was not the first in recent days to look upon their true form. Before his disappearance enforcer Kagari had made his way down to this chamber as well, prior to his subsequent death. Looking around the unmarred, blinding whiteness of the room Akane’s eyes stung and her chest ached sharply as she wondered how quickly the cleaning drones had been able to erase the scarlet proof of Kagari’s existence from the floor and pillars.
Lifting her head from the concrete it had been resting on Akane turned toward the ruddy, sunset tinted field that stretched into the distance, having been brought back to sudden consciousness by the ear-splitting sound of a gunshot. Some vicious, vengeful part of her which also feared for the loss of yet another, who in spite of their difference in physical strength was also supposed to be under her protection, hoped that the blood-stained form that surely lay in the field beyond wore white rather than black. Rising up and returning to the building behind her, she closed her eyes against the large pool of red that covered a portion of the floor. Then reopening them Akane followed the scattered drops that led away from one edge of it until they led her to Ginoza, his left arm and shoulders covered in blood, with Masaoka’s unmoving form draped across them.
Time passes, and the carmine colored specters in her mind fade slightly, but never fully vanish.
As Akane and Ginoza arrive at the mental health center where one of the PSB’s inspectors and a group of hostages were being held, numerous bursts of cherry liquid swell and spatter the concrete below the forms that once contained them. Another cry, this time one of angry protest, reverberates off the stony buildings that surround her. Inside, Ginoza kneels beside one pool, his hand instinctively reaching for the shattered wrist link that lay within it before bowing his head as he voiced a murmured name.
Cracking red engulfed the building that she and the other members of Division One stood in front of, as dancing flames consumed it. Akane felt the same blazing heat making its way into her veins, sparks of rage bursting from her eyes as he looked at the man who stood before her. Inside the cushioned box he held out lay an ear, adorned with an earring that was all too familiar, surrounded by a drying patch of maroon. Surging forward she screamed in fury, her strength in the moment nearly enough to overpower even Ginoza’s mechanical arm as he held her back. Later when she stood in Chief Kasei’s office, Akane wondered where that strength had gone as her knees trembled and threated to collapse at the sight of the gruesomely colored images laid before her. In spite of her grandmother’s words when she was young, Akane had never hated the color red so much.
Murmured words of gratitude, which only she was close enough to be able to make out, were the last thing Akane had expected to hear as Kamui’s wounded body fell through the air already beginning to swell beyond the confines of his flesh as the Dominator’s destructive force overwhelmed it. A violent gush of blood momentarily obscured her vision as Kamui died staining the floor at her feet with its color. Red, human, and perhaps the truest form of answer to the question for which the young man had given his life.
 Another death.
More red.
More blood dyeing her hands.
In SEAUn, a young servant girl falls to the ground mere inches from her uselessly numb fingertips, a thin trail of crimson running down her forehead.
And another precious life, which she had failed to protect, was lost.
In the same way that the ocean flowing toward the shore would lap at her slender feet and ankles, moving upward along her legs the longer she stayed in place. The rising flood of red coated her dreams, threatening to drown her in their depths if she stood still long enough.
In the end only two choices seemed apparent.
To surrender.
Give in and allow the weight of what the System failed to prevent, and had at times even deliberately allowed, to consume her.
Or to fight back.
To use her determination to prevent the red that had already been shed from spilling any further, as fuel to strengthen her resolve.
Like the color that was in her name, Akane decided she would accept the red that marked her past failures to protect, using it as the strength of purpose that continued to drive her forward.

João Franco has been busy since his days on Below Deck Mediterranean. While he was on the show, João was the lead deckhand during season 3  and was promoted to bosun during season 4. Captain Sandy was more than impressed his first season and saw his potential as a bosun. João was honored by the praise and considered Sandy to be someone he looks up to. They developed a close friendship throughout his two seasons, one that seemed unbreakable.
While he may have excelled in his yachting skills, João did not get along with many of his crewmates. In season 3, he and chief stew Hannah Ferrier often butted heads after he began dating Brooke. Hannah called him on several occasions a "misogynist," as he would often flirt with third stewardess Kasey right in front of Brooke. However, the two were able to make amends the following season and were in a great place throughout the season. João made a better impression his final season, however, he didn't return to the Med for season 5.

What has João been up to since he left the French Rivera in season 4? After leaving Sirroco when the last charter of season four came to an end, João was ready to move on from the exterior team to a captain. According to BravoTV, João did an Instagram Live chat with Below Deck Sailing Yacht's Captain Glenn Shephard in March, where he spoke about finishing his officer of the watch courses and how he was a captain on a 30-meter yacht for about a year-and-a-half. Now he is looking forward to passing his officer of the watch exam. "I'm gonna do my exam in a month, and then I'm gonna most likely head back to Europe and look for a job on a sailboat," he said. João went on talk more about his first job as a captain. "I think the hardest part of being a captain is the responsibility of dealing with people's lives on board," he said.
"My first job was extremely difficult. I'm not exaggerating. I lost going into port, I lost port side engine, [...] and I had to dock this boat with guests on board." Now that João has finished his course, he doesn't think he would take the position again. First, he wants to make sure he is ready before he gets to take on any bigger boats. Besides beginning his career as a captain, João also found love. In March 2020, he prosed to his long-time girlfriend Michelle Dicu. The pair recently welcomed an adorable puppy to their family and now live in South Africa together. As for his friendships with his former Below Deck crew, João revealed in an episode of the "Behind The Velvet Rope" podcast, he is no longer close with Captain Sandy.  João said she would often send mixed messages about their friendship and often questioned her motivations when it came to helping him in the industry.
Now that João is a licensed captain, it is less than likely he will be appearing on another season of Below Deck Med. Although, he may return to show in the future as a captain. However, Captain Sandy would not be too pleased if she was replaced by her former bosun.

“Did we know that Nicole Branch was also at the Kasey Musgraves concert in Nashville? The one where Harry made a guest appearance to sing Space Cowboy? They readlly did travel in the same circles and managed to coincidentally be in the same places all over the world at the same time. “
And she was in LA/Malibu earlier in 2019 same as him. I think this was going of for awhile.. maybe just a fling but what if they successfully hid it for that time? She was literally in London immediately after the kacey show. She follows some of the same people as him. Could be coincidences but we really think he was “single” for the last two years? I mean it not have been exclusive but we know they were in a few places in different countries at the same time yea

This all started when I created a couple of baby shower games for a friend’s baby shower. They were a huge hit with the guests and I was asked by more than one person where I had gotten them. That’s when a light bulb went off – I decided to create these 75 memorable and fun-filled baby shower games for the busy hostess.
I spent over 500 hours personally researching the internet, probing friends for the fun ideas, and creating the best games on the internet.
I even drove my husband nuts: “Honey, can you tell me which font looks best?” His reply: “How am I supposed to know – just pick one.”
Thank You for creating such a useful tool at a low cost. I’ve spent so much money already on everything else and I just wanted to tell you, good job and I’m sure I’ll enjoy everything! 🙂

My baby shower went great..We played Bingo, baby food tasting , word search and the right/left story. Everyone had a great time and loved the games. Thank you for all the great ideas. This was well worth the investment.

Shower was for my step-sister Kasey. It was on Sunday Aug. 27. We played Baby Work Unscramble, Celebrity Baby Names, Unique Celebrity Baby Names. There were soooooooo many games to choose from! Everyone there really enjoyed the games so of course I told them about your web page & how you can purchase the games & down load them right then & there. Thanks so much! Very cool!

Quality, Not Quantity
Have you noticed that some websites offer over 200 games for baby showers? Goodness, that’s a LOT. I checked out some of them and found that the quality of their games was not quite what it should be.
If you’re just interested in purchasing the package with the most games, then this one is not for you. I can’t compete with quantity alone — and I don’t want to.
And think about it, do you really want to preview 200 games? How would you have enough time to do anything else?
I guarantee that you’ll have enough on your plate selecting from the wide range of great games I’m offering. And these are quality games, with quality fonts, and quality images.
I’ve personally selected the best ones for you and created them with lots of TLC (tender loving care). These games are the ones that you’ll go to over and over again.
Games for Multiples Are Here
Is the Mommy-to-Be expecting twins or triplets? If so, you’ll get to pick from several games designed especially for her.
Games like Twins Trivia, Famous Pairs, Famous Trios, and Triple the Fun are sure to make your baby shower a huge hit.
African American Images Are Here
One thing I noticed from other baby shower games websites was the lack of African American graphics on the games. That’s why I created a second version of some of the games, featuring African American images.
There are ten games exclusively with African American images on them. Plus there are several more with images of African American babies appearing with babies of other races.
The rest of the games have generic baby symbols, such as rattles or pacifiers.
Games with African American graphics give you an option to choose the game and image that’s right for your baby shower.
Couples Games Are Here
Throwing a couples shower? No problem. There are several games that specifically have a “Daddy” vibe. Not to mention, men can play just about any of the other games too.
Some couples games are Animal Families, Mothers and Fathers in Genesis, Mommy and Daddy Animals, Celebrity Parents and Kids, Baby Shower Outburst, Baby Shower Scattegories, and Whose Genes Should Baby Get.
Great Mix Between Traditional and One-of-a-Kind Games
When I first started creating these games, I focused on unique, one-of-a-kind games. One girlfriend said, “I love these games, but where is BINGO and Word Unscramble?”
I then realized that a lot of women want these “classics“, so I included the best ones. So if you’re one of the traditionalists, you’ve got your games here.
Examples of some classic games included are Baby Shower Bingo, Baby Word Find, Baby Word Unscramble, What is Mom Wearing, Mystery Baby Food Tasting, Nursery Rhyme Titles, Memory Game, and Draw the Mommy.
For you hostesses that are more intested in one-of-a-kind games, I promise that you’ll find what you’re looking for here. That’s because I created a lot of them myself – from scratch. They’re guaranteed to be original. You won’t find them anywhere else on the web or in a store.
A few of my exclusive games include Baby Shower Sudoku, Lessons of Schoolhouse Rock, Baby on the Big Screen, Baby Names in Geography, Grown in the Wild, Whose Gene’s Should Baby Get, Comic Strip Trivia, and What’s in Common.
Believe me, there’s no shortage of great games for you to choose from.
MY ONLY CONCERN is that you’re going to be overwhelmed and spend too much time trying to decide which of the 75 games you want to play.
Your games made the baby shower more fun and organized. Everone enjoyed the baby bingo and the word scramble. The actual games are printed up in such a colorful way and everyone admired them. We have another baby shower coming up soon, so we plan to use some of the other games. Thankyou for making this part of our shower planning easy and fun.
Peggy Gallery, Wisconsin
Dana: Thank you so much for offering this great product. I was so worried about this shower – you know, same old same old games. What a great time we had! We played probably six different games, but the two that stood out the most were the “Whose Genes” and the “Mr and Mrs Wright” passing game. I had so many compliments and everyone asked where I had gotten the ideas for the games. I gave them your website and I’ll bet they will contact you too! Thanks again.

The shower was great. We played celebrity baby names, bingo, Mr. and Mrs. Wright, Animal baby goups, and identify the baby food. Eveyone wanted to continue to play bingo so we played twice. The big hit was the Mr. and Mrs. Wright game. The games really made the party flow.
Angela Sherick, Los Angeles, CA
Dana- The shower was great and everyone had a fun time! The baby bingo was a hit…my only suggestion is to modify it for a smaller number of people say up to 25 and/or 25 to 50. There were about 15 in attendance and there were many that I called that no one had due to the number of cards handed out vs. number of words in word bank…but it was still fun:) Contact me anytime for feedback or help:) Thanks-
Kristy, Indianapolis, Indiana
The baby shower was great- we did Baby Shower Bingo and the word scramble thanks for the great website!

Baby Shower Ultimate Planner’s Lists
Every baby shower hostess has a lot on her plate when it comes to planning. Lists make her job a lot easier.
That’s why I created the Ultimate Planner’s Lists for the busy hostess. Now you can be organized and relaxed when planning your next baby shower.
Six lists and worksheets that are a MUST-HAVE for easy shower planning are:
Baby Shower Planning Calendar – Starting with 6 Weeks Before the shower and counting down to 15 Minutes Before, this ultimate checklist is vital for staying organized and making sure everything is completed in a timely manner.
Responsibility List for Co-Hosts – Keeping up with the To-Do List for your Co-Hosts will be a snap with this list where you’ll assign responsiblity for the decorations, guest list, games, inviations, etc.
The Budget – It’s important to budget so you don’t spend more than you intend to. With this form, you will estimate your costs and be able to compare them with what you actually spent.
Hostess Must-Have List – This is a checklist of “extras” that you may not think about, but should have at the shower (aspirin, scotch tape, trash bags, etc.)
Guest and RSVP List – Having an organized guest list makes your job of sending invitations and keeping track of RSVPs a whole lot easier.
Shower Gifts – The Mother-to-Be will appreciate this list that keeps track of who brought each shower gift.
What Do These Games Cost? What Should They Cost?
To determine the price for the Baby Shower Games, I looked at several factors. If you were to hire a professional to create your baby shower games, it would cost you at least $40 for just two games. That’s at $10 per hour (a very reasonable price) times 4 hours. And that’s being conservative. Here you have 75 games.
I also looked at the price for purchasing games at a party store. The prices ranged from $5.95 to $24.99 — just for one game!
Based on this information, I arrived at a reasonable and afforadable price of $29.99. I want you to have the “best deal on the web”, so I’ve lowered it to an incredible $24.99!
IMPORTANT UPDATE: The price has been lowered yet again! I’m in the process of performing market testing on the price of my games, so for a limited time, the price is $19 – an unbelievable bargin.
However, please be warned…
I cannot keep the price this low for too long. I want you to know that I WILL raise it after a couple of months of testing.
AND THINK ABOUT THIS: $19 is the price of a pizza and drinks. We’re not talking about a lot of money here. Plus, the best part is you can share the cost of these games with the other hostesses and you get to keep them all for yourself to use at all of your other baby showers! Spread across just five showers, you’re paying under $4 per shower. That’s a BARGAIN!
My Guarantee to You
I insist that you try these baby shower games. Print and use them as many times as you’d like. Because once you’ve tried them, I’m convinced that you’ll NEVER want to send them back!
But, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you have eight full weeks to let us know. You will receive a full refund – we want you to be happy with your purchase.
Like I said earlier, I’m convinced that these games are the best on the internet, and if you could just see them, print them, and use them, I know you’d feel the same way.
Finally, because you’re entrusting me with your time and confidence, I want you to keep the FOUR BONUSES – Free of Charge – even if you decide to return the Baby Shower Games. That’s a guaranteed gain no matter what you decide!
Common Questions
“I’m at work, how will I be able to download the games onto my computer at home?” You have two options: 1) After payment is made, you will be directed to a web page where you can download the games. Write down the URL of that page (http://www.best-baby….), and go back to it once you get home. 2) Download the games to your work computer, copy them to a CD, then delete the games off your work computer.
“What if I don’t have a color printer or no printer at all?” You’ll need to print them at a friend’s house, your office, or at a printer. You have two options: 1) You can copy the games from your computer onto a CD and bring the CD to a friend’s house. 2) View and print the games online (there is a link where you can do this).
“I don’t know anything about computers. Will downloading the games be easy?” I wrote all of the instructions for the download with you in mind. They are detailed and have pictures of each pop-up involved during the download. If you have problems, you can visit my FAQ page, or contact me by email or telephone for assistance.
“My baby shower is in a few hours. Will I have my games in time?” Yes. As soon as payment is made, you will be directed to a download page – you don’t even have to wait for an email. For high-speed internet users, downloading will take less than a minute. For dial-up internet users, it will take longer, depending on your computer, connection, etc. You can also view and print the games from online, instead of downloading them. This is an especially nice feature if you have dial-up access and need the games immediately. Of course you can still download the games onto your computer in addition to viewing them online.
