How can you describe miguel mentally and emotionally ?

Oh man... This is a tough one. I'll start by saying that, even though we saw a glimpse of his mindset on ATSV, we still have sooo much to learn and know about him. (We just had it for 15 mins. jsksk)

I did this thing a while ago, focusing mostly on his grieving that addressed the rest just superficially.

I won't say I know him better than anyone cause

1. No. Characters evolve and I feel it'd be disrespectful af to just reduce him to a couple of traits or claim that I know him better than I know my nipple jsksk.

2. He's a complex character that is so well written that makes us all go psychoanalysing his behavior 🤭. (And love me a man that puts me to think)

But jokes aside.

He's emotionally unavailable. Simple as that. And though it might sound obvious to some, (And our savior complex kicks in and tell us to fix him 👀 yeah, I'm talking to us jsksk) there's no way we can do that, cause that's up to him ~. (And you can't help someone that doesn't wants to be helped.)

Healing takes time. And guess who overworks himself to the point of having his cortisol running 24/7 through his body? Miguel. He doesn't have time for therapy. His fear of watching it all go to hell once more is a too fresh wound. Some traumas last decades, and naturally people find ways around it without interacting with it directly to avoid reliving such impairment.

(I do appreciate the fact that in the new comic book, we see him trying to make amends with Conchata though. He's trying!!! :D.)

2. He's a patient man. I mean, he recruited after all versions of Spiderman that have this trait in common: They're perceived as friendly. And they're mostly young adults and teens. (Both are a handful btw. And most stories and comics Peter Parker is depicted as a 18-23 year old)

But they like pushing his buttons, (cracking a joke every 5 minutes, doing whatever they want even when specific orders were given) however. He doesn't strike me as someone that is mean on purpose, he's just wary but not totally closed off towards people. Wich is kinda contradictory on its own since:

You don't go around trusting people first hand upon just knowing them, right? 👀. But at the same time he showed Miles his own canon event, trying to empathise with him before dropping the bomb. (He was mentally preparing him, something he wasn't able to get but to experience the worst way)

A hypocrite truly. And not in the bad bad way (He calls a nerd the NWH Peter yet he is one) , cynic to an extent (Since he keeps repeating he's been the only one trying to keep it all together, meaning he still doesn't fully trusts the people around him.) A showoff (Did you see the way he turns towards Gwen when he first appears? Or the way he says "I was gonna do that") , arrogant to also an extent. ("It's much more cooler than a watch").

He took the job as a leader cause he knew none else was gonna, and if there was another one willing to assume the role, I'm sure he'd be dissatisfied with it's development cause our man likes to feel safe in when he's in control. (A trait often met in people with generalized anxiety)

And when he's not, his brain immediately goes into threat mode, but even so is able to adapt. (I have a theory he learned this the bad way. We've still got to see the origins of his Rapture intake though 🤔)

Now, we know this man is emotionally unavailable, through and through. His love is work. And married to it.

Now, I might get a bit controversial after this and some might not like it, but I don't think he wants another family after that. (We don't know much about this Miguel's background or family except that he was looking for things, and he found Gabi's universe. And for you to look into another universe in need to be happy says enough to imagine his family or is non existent or is really messed up.)

I know we want him to be happy, (And the producers better give him some healing and closure or else.) Cause he deserves everything. But grieving doesn't work like that. A loss like that is unmeasurable, it changes literally your brain chemistry forever. The least appropriate thing you'd do is have another kid or someone after such event.

(I've seen what that is an it's not nice. Specially for the involved kid)

But we're all ill here so Thank goodness fanfics exist ❤️

He allowed himself to be selfish enough to be happy, had his fun but consequences caught up to him. Consequences that he didn't know and now has him perpetuating his guilt and mind berating.

Hence the workaholic attitude, the coldness. He's done with establishing something with people in general, not just someone special. He's done of getting trampled by life, so he sticks with something he knows he can do very well and pours into it. The Multiverse is his hyperfixation.

Keeps him busy, keeps him on control but curiously and contradictory again, it keeps him needed and useful.

He's a walking contradiction. He doesn't need people to watch over him, not cause he doesn't deserves it. He knows that people worry about him, that's why he just minds his own thing to not be a burden.

Self-Sufficient, over achiever (Alchemax CEO & Spiderman, a genius, bilingual, probably more languages on his list cause he leads a multicultural and multidimensional task force babes ~)

He's not bad, he just doesn't know how to direct his anger or allows himself to feel properly and often rationalises his feelings. (Another coping mechanism where you're tired of feeling stuff and justify difficult or negative with logical thoughts)

But again, curiously knows how to communicate. I know it's fucked to say when he threw a trash bin to Miles before that. But! Hear me out.

Retaking the previous point, he was preparing Miles to give him the talk. After he throws the trash bin, he knows that anger won't solve things (Even though he wanted to give some chancla spanks to Miles for being an anomaly) So he chills, and you can see the transition between being completely furious to a more emotional approach. (Parenting surge there.)

He starts explaining everything from scratch, (literally with drawings and stuff) so Miles wouldn't be lost on what he was on about. Then they moved to the canon events, and shows his major trauma to him as a sign of empathy and an invitation to honest talk.

He admits he doesn't like what he does, and if you look closer his face is so damn distressed when locking Miles in the trap. It pains him, but again, someone has to do it, yet none is scarred enough to bear the burden.

I just want to hug him and send him to therapy. Cause he needs it. (Pretty sure he gave up on that too cause it was too time consuming.)

I'd be satisfied if the writers gave him that ❤️. But yeah. That's one of my many takes on him. Hope it helps c:

My oc's + characters they were based of in one way or another

I got bored of sewing, maybe gonna continue on weekend, but anyway i decided that it's time to make smthng more with Bouney 'n Handy so there's a lil drawings and if someone is interested in me yapping about them, story, 'n other stuffs then click here \/

Oki, so I'll start with at which point they were based of well, Salad and Madotsuki. Starting from Handy because this will take me less time. She was created waaay later, at moment when I wanted to start working on comic, so I had to make second character just so Bouney wouldn't be only one, well i wanted to make her an object head of some kind to match with the fact that Bouney's head was created out of rotated eye. It is not anymore but that was honestly how I created this little freak. Fine but coming back to topic I wanted to give her some kind of object, and I'm honestly shit when it come to making any decisions myself, so with my friend we just looked throught my entire sketchbook and we found drawing of Madotsuki with hand palm effect (because I was pretty much fixated over this game and bigger part of sketchbook had Yume Nikki drawings), so we just picked hand. Now, with Bouney it's longer story, just like I said, I created him way earlier, so first thing he got after Salad were simple plain clothes 'cuz I'm layzy and absolutelly didn't wanted to bother with drawing anything complicated over and over again (and I picked Salad, because once again, yes it was my fixation at that time, and I want to remind that thos are two different times btw). So at the point when I wanted to start making thos comics and when I already had character designs I had to give them personalities and story, and the story... it was pretty different from what it is now. First vershion of it was too about a empty world and all thos stuffs, this didn't change, but main difference was the fact that in earlier ver Bouney was only living creature in this world. Handy was more of some kind of imaginary friend that appeared in his head due to loneliness there. (this a bit was based out of Salad too, because, ya know, empty weird world, clearly not very sane main creature character 'n thos stuffs) Plot mostly was just like in current vershion pretty goofy 'n just some "everyday stuffs", but at some points it was getting pretty heavy and sad. AND YES I KNOW THAT IT SOUNDED MUCH MORE INTERESTING, honestly at some point even I liked it more in this way, but there were two main reasons why I changed it. First one, fact that Handy wasn't really a physical person caused some technical writing issues that maybe been not that hard to fix, but as once already I said- I'm layzy, so I didn't wanted to be bothered by them. And now second and honestly more important reason (at least for me), it was time when I was making 2nd re-write of "Fragments of Sanity" plot (rn I'm working on 3rd, and I hope last one, because I want to finally make it into comic too) and I mean first version of it was pretty, well sad (I can't really find better word for it), but on second version? Oh boy, let me tell ya this shit is even worse (and main reason for this is probably because I dunno when but Mike ended up being at least in his personality and behavior (not by plot) a bit of self insert). So I didn't really wanted both of my projects to be like that, and I wantd at least one of them to be one with wich I could more goof around, so yeah, I've changed it. Well I guess that's all I wanted to say? I dunno. I know that in 95% no one is about to read this, but anyway I feel at least better when I can yap somewhere about some certain stuffs, and hey, ain't that for what blogs even exist? For people to yap, and do stuffs they like? Damn after writing for such a long time about them I guess I have a need rn to finish this god damned 3rd chapter. So yeah, now that's all.

i forgot it was april fools lol. i definitly did not end up sprinkling in a bunch of memes in there, nope, not at all.

I havent checked my dashboard until a few minutes earlier, but now im booping everyone i find in there, its just so damm fun! its kinda sad that its just for april fools, i wish the booping stayed forever like its way too silly i love it.

Oh yeah the drawing yep aight. So uh, i had the idea yesterday and this looks NOTHING like what i had planned, it was just going to be a plain white backgroung, and i was trying to make it look like a pencil sketch (kinda). and simple coloring. but i had a lot of problems and drawing this ended up being really frustrating but im kinda happy with the result even if it difers so much from the og idea.

i tend to change my idea as im drawing so after i realized this was not going to look like i thought, i tried some effects and i came up with the idea of making it look...off.

Backgrounf with saturated colors consisting of red and blue and a fecto elfilis who looks rather dreamy, wich is totally not kinda inspired by isolated isles and high school musical 2 believe it or not (im confused as to how that was present in my mind as inspiration but i guess anything works as a reference) and contrasting with the darker background from how light and glowy i made him.

Fun fact: when i drew elfilis here, they were reminding me of a bunny, so you could kinda count this as a bit of an easter post since im probably going to forget to do something for that.

fun fact 2: this image is based on a fanfic im writing right now, i havent posted it yet, and when i do im pretty sure i'll put it into the Anonymous collection, since what im writing is very different from my usual, i tend to write about my splatoon ocs or sometimes about kirby characters, most of these fics tend to be general with not a lot of archieve warnings and stuff (save for one but that one was very very tame and just had an implication of a character dying at the end) and they're oneshots, most of them, this one is also a oneshot. i just enjoy writing that, but its a little bit....how to say it? bloody, i just have like the start made and its probably going to take me a while to finish, im also thinking of reading it multiple times since most of my works are usually just the first draft. but uh since its quite different and has that im quite scared of the reception it might have when i post it, in fact a lot of times i dont post stuff since even tho i know i shouldnt worry about others, i still do like an idiot, i just cant help caring about what other people think of me. and yeah basically its just not like the usual fluff i write.

next post might be splatoon related since im redesigning some ocs i had, or it might be princess peach showtime because my father got me the game and im loving it

Zam: Can you explain yourself tho? I would like — I would like you to explain yourself I feel like.

Bacon: I can't really explain myself right now.

Zam:I feel like you can; why are you working with Wemmbu? I feel like you should be able to explain yourself.

Bacon: It's a little more complicated than that.

Zam: No, you're just dodging question. How are you any different from Kaboodle here? The person you were trying to kill. Being influenced by Wemmbu the same way that she was. I don't get it, I'm so confused.

Bacon: I don't know, I guess I'm not [differentfrom Kaboodle].

Zam: Okay.

Bacon: I mean, I don't know.

[Zam sights]

Bacon: I mean what do you think happened here? What do you think — cause I — there's a [Bacon stutters]

Zam: I think that you team up with Wemmbu and decided to jump Spepticle and what happened them, wich is... weird. Odd choice.

Bacon: Why do they think I was even coming to kill them? Well I guess I arrived at the exact same time [overlapping].

Zam: Cause SB saw you go with Wemmbu, so... yeah.

Bacon [while muted in game]: Yooo, Kaboodle raid, what's up Kaboodlers?

[Bacon unmutes in game]

Bacon: Huh, okay.

Zam: Yeah, I've been busy, I had to pull a lot of strings to end up here, hmm.

Bacon: Okay so, wait — So, what do you think is the timeline?

Zam: What do I think is the timeline? I think after our conversation — [Zam is interrupted by Bacon saying something unintelligible] After our conversation in the island I think you and Wemmbu worked together, huhh, came over to this frog light farm and then attacked the innocent people that were building the little frog light farm, which is messed up.

Bacon: Okay.

Zam: Yeah, that's what I think is going on — [overlapping]

Bacon [overlapping]: So what happens next?

Zam [overlapping]: So what's your version of events?

Bacon [overlapping]: But what do you think happened after tho?

Zam [exasperated]: I don't know. I guess you and Wemmbu fight Kab or something, but I guess Wemmbu left, I don't know.

Bacon [laughs]: That's funny tho, isn't it? Isn't that like a funny little timeline.

Zam [overlapping]: You're trying to get my side of the story so you can... what's it called...? [overlapping]

Bacon [overlapping, laughing]: Yeah no, I am.

Zam: ...Lie to me, based on what I known

Bacon: But I don't — Honestly dude, I don't wanna have to try and do all that, cause like, it's kinda silly. At the end of the day, huh, yeah it's kind of impressive that you found me right through that, I'll give that to you.

Zam: Uhum.

Bacon: Uh, so... I'm not gonna lie to you.

Zam: And then what?

Bacon: I am completely being honest with you right now, I don't wanna lie to you so — [overlapping]

Zam: Yeah, okay, okay, so you say you're not gonna lie to me, your gonna — You're gonna do the solid of not lie to me, you're also just gonna tell me nothing.

Bacon: Well, isn't that better than me lying to you tho, don't you — Wouldn't you rather know that you can trust me when I do tell you things

When I like or relate to a character enough, I'll often take their name and use it for myself. Im not quite sure why i do this if im being honest, I dont do it very often to but when i find a character, i really love. i can't help but want to be like them. i dont like my name at all. It has no elegance or interest in it or anything remarkably nice about it. "......" It's boring, but i suppose all names are after a while. It has 6 letters in it, which is a cold number, but it is even, and it has mostly warm letters, which are nice [I dont like cold numbers or odd numbers]. It means something to do with religion, which is ironic cause im probably going to end up in hell anyway. None of my close friends call me it anyway, I'm usually referred to ell although i wouldn't mind more people calling me tori or jane, which are all names I've taken from characters i like. Tori/victoria from Solitaire, Jane Doe from Ride the Cyclone, my favourite musical, and the genderbent version of Edd from eddsworld Ell. [who I have since claimed as my own character]..it feels silly but when i find somthing or somone i can really relate to i desire to have some sense of similairty of closeness with them wich i find the easist to achive with name, albeit it has created this sort of affect where i feel i have no real name at all. Although theres only 3 I've really taken on I've been told that i have lots of actual names that my parenrs have aince forgotten with of course the addition of the various ways to say my name and the english version. But if im being honest, im not sure I'll ever have a name that will ever fit me, meaning or sound wise. I guess that it's my fate to be nameless and avoid any proper recognition, and so in addition to my void, i can now add a blank sheet signed "nameless."[Not my art]

Hi, i'm talking about Hallyboo again. And today we're discussing a really epic topic... No party isn't that great. Don't get me wrong, it's a good song and the guitar solo is cool but i feel like it's lacking. Like, if you listen to the lyric version by Juno songs you can hear that he's pissed; while in No Party he sounds like " oh no, you pirated a game! That's no good!" in a mickey mouse voice. He doesen't sound upset,mildly annoyed at best. Plus, like a post i just saw said, it feels like they did him dirty. He has a ton of original material , even without considering the comic, so why not giving him another song? Or make No party longer? Like, Overdue can be 3 minutes and a half long while my poor boy is stuck with two minutes and a half? And to be honest he should've gotten a chase scene imo. 3\4 of his screentime in the series is the chase so i feel like it would've fitted in. He had the potential to be the finale in Hellish heights; Just have him get pissed and chase idiot one and two (affectionate) down. Without mentioning the fact that he can't get a kill even in the gameover screen, wich i guess it's fine because he isn't as bloodthirsty as the others but damn, have a Thwomp fall on Boyfriend for the game over at least. Right now, he feels like a guy who got randomly put in Hellish heights and never further elaborated on. Like, you have all these menacing guys and then you have this fucker. What the hell is he, a comic relief? I'll tell you, he could be WAY more than that, he just needed more screentime and a chase scene. Or maybe have a Death toll type of thing, where you start the song as Luigi, then he slowly turns into BF or something, and then have the chase. He's the definition of wasted potential; if i knew how to make a mod i'd make one about MPDSAP just to feel remotedly satisfied about his very lacking representation. I still like the goofy-ass vibes he gives, i just think it's not a great fit for Hellish heights. Move him to Woodland of Lies if you're not willing to take him seriously. Also i like the old No party more, sue me

didn't think there would be people (not talking about you) that actually want him to be written as an incel tbh. idk what being a misogynist creep adds to the character besides making him more awful? is it because of the Tom King versions?

Now I also have no idea why people would want him to be an incel. Misoginy is not something I want in characther (unless it's Sokka learning to recognize and descontrut his internalozed misoginy and get out of it as boy who drinks his respect woman juice). But if I had to make a guess it would be likely because of The Batman. Everyone keeps calling Nasthon an incel and I can see where they are coming from as while he isn't show to misoginistic he has the typical incel red flags and I'll admit I'm not fond of this version but a lot of people are (the movie is great) so it makes sense that some of this people would see incel Riddler, think of Dano's Riddler and want more of it because they liked him.

Now we may disagree here but I don't think Tom King's Riddler is an incel, he does have a lot of misoginistic traits don't get me wrong.

I mean we could debate if he wasn't an incel in Batgirl vs Riddler as he was creepy, misoginistic, a stalker and the whole plot was just unecessary (also while I hate the whole comic one thing that I actually find funny is how the text confirms Eddie isn't lying on his speech about how he "oh so sleept with so many woman" but is wrote in a way that no man in real life who actually had an active sex life would say wich makes me think despite being married Tom King doesn't know many woman), also Barbara desing made her look like a minor wich made it worse. But besides this story he just like most King's men is more like the classical toxic man, the and god I hate to say this term soo much "chad". Although he does have queer subtext with Joker during the whole wedding saga wich if explored could make Eddie's attempts of being the typical straight man more subversive and a tad less misoginistic (do I want them to be a couple? Heck no, but the subtext was there and it's the better alternative).

P.S: This observations on King's take on Riddler do not include Killing Time as I didn't finished reading it yet. It likely has the same problems, but I will wait to judge when I'm done.

"No touching," you repeated, nodding your head.

"I want a foot of space between the two of you at all times." You raised a brow at him, but the stern look on his face changed your mind from protesting otherwise.

"One foot, twelve inches, got it."

"I don't want you to kiss, hug, cuddle, or even look at her while you're in my house."

"Really Hop? No looking?" His brows furrowed even deeper. An uncomfortable silence passed between the two of you before said man sighed in defeat.

"Fine, I guess you can look at her. But for no longer than 20 seconds tops." You rolled your eyes before helplessly agreeing.

"Alright, alright I get it. I can't touch and only look-"

"For 20 seconds."

"Yes, 20 seconds, but let's say she comes up and hugs me. Then what?" Hopper was stumped at the question. Not really thinking about the part that El would be willing to be close to you.

"They'll be a limit to that too," he simply stated. "Also, I want the door open three inches when you're in her room. If it gets closed at any time, you lose room privileges."

"What does that mean?" You questioned.

"Means that you gotta come out here and can't leave."

"Not even for the bathroom?"

"Well obviously you can go to the bathroom. I'm a father not a monster, Y/n." You giggled lightly, leaning back into the cushions of the couch.

El had finally convinced Jim to let you stay the night. You'd think fighting interdimensional monsters together would have his trust towards you a little more solid but apparently not when it came to his daughter.

Speaking of his daughter she was currently changing into something more comfortable. You had done so previously and were guessing Eleven got some kind of talk just like you did while you were elsewhere. Just a less intimidating version of what you experienced.

"Yeah, well, I'm not gonna let you do any of it when I am here."

"You do realize me and El do all of what you said when you're not here right?" Hopper snarled at the thought.

"Fair enough," you shrugged. Just then the door opened to reveal your lovely lover herself. A light smirk grew on your features as you stood, approaching her. Taking the fabric that covered her torso between your fingers. "Is that my shirt?" You questioned in a mumbled.

"What did I just say? One foot," Hopper scolded, pointing at you while you threw your hands up in surrender taking a step back. He entered the kitchen, disappearing momentarily from view.

"You left it over when you got soaked from the water balloon fight we had with the others," she explained, taking your hand and whisking you away into her room. You hummed in response, smiling lightly.

*I'm glad I did. It looks good on you." A blush grew on her cheeks as she whispered a small 'thank you.'

The both of you sprawled out across her sheets. El laid near where you positioned yourself on your stomach. Your head rested on your crossed arms while you stared at her quietly. She reached out and brushed her thumb across her cheeks.

"What would you like to do?" Eleven asked. You shrugged.

"Sure sounds good." Her features lit up and she placed a gentle kiss on your lips in thanks.

"What did I say, L/n? No kissing!" Hopper hollered, his head peeking through the doorway.

"I didn't do the kissing. She kissed me," you defended. Eleven giggled and settled next to your side as you open up to the first page.

"Then pull away when she does that. El you know what I said, no smooching."

"Sorry," she replied meekly. Hopper's grumbles were heard from behind the door frame. While you started with the first line...

I will do my best, as best that I can to awnser the questions of Bloubilou & Co. 

Currently Working at studio SIP animation On the future Jetix/Hasbro series A.T.O.M., I find myself 2 floors from the production of W.I.T.C.H. Upon wich are working a few of my old colleagues from Tarzan, Passiflores, Bécassine, l'Odyssée, du CFT Gobelins...etc ( The World of Animation is a small one!!!).

Having a style close to Disnye's and certain Mangas, and being a fan of Barbucci and Canepa and by extention of Witch, evrybody saw me as working on the Character designs (Since that's my speciality) However the ex-studio Saban and now SIP animation did not think of me in the immediate, quel dommage! But 1 year ago the studio remembers a work that I did and contacts me to work on the production of the secondary characters! Being a little fearful of the animated adaption of this Adorable Comic Book, but needing none the less to work, I go to the meeting so they can show me the Graphic Bible as well as a sort of a semi-prototype of a pilot episode.

To my great surprise the proto-pilot is wonderful and respects the look and ambiance of Witch, Then I discover the graphic Bible, Line art of all the principal characters, and it is So the drama(lol).

In spite of the undeniable technical graphic quality, The Characters have been very "Mangafied" in order to give the series an animation that's more in Vogue, and to try to enlarge the target audience to include adults or at the very least teenagers. I do not hide my dissapointment, and unfortunatly for me at that time, The director chosen by SIP to adapt Witch, hears me argumenting my dissapointment to one of the principal desingers and I get chewed out on the spot without fully understanding what has befallen me!!! A great big guy with the head of a bull, huge jaw Gives me a chilling look as well as a sermon on the work of a director, letting me know that at the age of 10 he could draw 20 times better than Barbucci et Canepa and that it's his unmittigated right to adapter Witch in a manga-Toatally Spies version because the Comic book is only good for "Little Californian 8 year old Brats" !!!!! Although intimidated by this mass of cold blood, I retorted that he could have declined the job if it was only to de-natureise the spirit of Witch and concluded by saying I need to take time off to finish my christmas shopping, wich left him speechless, he then left me in the hall alone without so much as a goodbye! A few days later the studio calls to tell me, unabashed, That the famous Mark Gordon, director with the reputation of being machineist, sexist, homophobe, violent...and it goes on like this... , wanted nothing to do with me on HIS production!

I have since gotten over what had to be the worst proffetional experience of my life, and went to work on other projects, like SIP's A.T.O.M..

As for the "Totally Spies" style That Crystal (I belive...) Talked about, that's normal since Luan Vu Ba, who designed TS Worked on the Witch characters, until he slammed the door at SIP afet a chilling discussion with ...Guess who !!... Mark Gordon! 

In the end, I'm not a big fan of the final version, with certain exceptions of Ideas and settings, But the Witch girls are way too Mangafied for my taste. It's a shame, the charm has vanished, snif!

Suddenly, with Witch seemingly off to a good start, the second season has entered into production this past monday along with the (French) premiere of the show. The team has not changed much, With the notable exception that the Gordon is gone [ShadowBrat's note: Good Riddence ], and in his place is a certain Norman Leblanc, An animation director that I don't know much about.

And suddenly I am summoned by the staff of Witch to give me tests to do for Witch 2, and want to snag me Away from ATOM !! Incredible !! Lol !! This being Said it's all very flattering but i'll only integrate the team in 2 monts time as backup, it wouldn't be very good to just drop my work on ATOM on the spot because the production team is nice even if I don't find the series isn't personally motivating...
