I'm sorry, ya'll, but I fully cannot move on from this. What the fuck. The simple joy in Fadel's face here. The way he's just fixated on Style -- who is not even doing anything but catching his breath, eyes closed, attention not even on Fadel in this moment -- but just the fact that he's here, the fact that Fadel gets to be beside him like this, that there's no secrets between them and Fadel doesn't have to hide behind a mask of indifference or pretend to be disinterested anymore.

The way there's something anticipatory in Fadel's expression, like he just can't wait for Style to turn towards him, like he's learned to expect good things from Style when their eyes meet, the way it suggests he's become comfortable with finding happiness and an answer to his affection in Style's eyes.

(I think this scene is really standing out to me so much because Joong has been intentionally keeping Fadel a bit of a mystery in THK. And I do think it's been intentional because as Kluen in SIMM, Joong was very good at always letting the audience know what Kluen was feeling even if the other characters (Dao, especially) didn't seem to catch on. But for Fadel, it felt like we aren't supposed to be privy to Fadel's true thoughts and emotions beyond hints and glimpses.

So to suddenly get this kind of open fondness and unfiltered delight; to get such a clear communication of unspoken yet apparent affection from Fadel is SO FUCKING AMAZING?? Like I don't think Fadel's reached this level of blatant fondness yet in the series -- not in Episode 6 when they were in their honeymoon phase, and still not even now, at the end of episode 9, because the way Fadel's affection is being expressed still feels fragile and tender and new.

But these clips from the My Fuel MV feel like they come after they've had time to settle and BE together. Fadel is so open because he has learned that there is nothing to fear in his adoration of Style, like Style is the physical embodiment of Fadel's ability to experience true joy, and by GOD that makes me so fucking happy!!)

No but like every time I think about Splinter and what he had to go through just to keep the boys alive, my heart hurts for him so badly. Is he perfect? No not at all, but none of them are and by god does he love his sons.

The fact that all of them are alive, and grew to thrive despite the circumstances surrounding them is a testament of how much Splinter loves his boys. He raised four babies following the most traumatic time of his life, all alone with nothing but the sewers to house them (to hide them.) I feel like he’s not given the credit he deserves for all he’s done.

And I get that it’s easy to hold up his flaws and faults when it comes to parenting, I myself like looking into them because flawed characters are super interesting and said flaws make them more realistic and engaging, but he tries, and again, so many others would have given up on the boys or failed along the way but Splinter didn’t.

He’s their father, for all his faults he did his damndest to make sure they survived.

This stupid scene rotates in my head all day because I still can't understand it. Does Yuri think they've been dating since forever? Tamura says no!! Then why is he upset?? Because he always thought that Fujisaki only wanted to fuck and not date?? Tbh i am not surprised that a person who openly talked about having drinking problems since 1d days, because of how crazy 1d worked has been agressive. What surprises me is people being surprised (they never seriously saw drunk person?). But i am also confused about this whole book. Apparently Maya said that that book is not fully bout Liam but compilation about her exes and some of the worst parts are not about him. But recently she said that the book is “ofc about him” so what is true then? Or did she meant it that ofc some parts are about him or that whole book is about him?

I also am not surprised- we've learned so much more about the real stories of things and about the guys' actual lives over the last years, and the story that has unfolded around Liam has been totally consistent throughout if you've been following it, and so the information Maya is telling us is shocking and upsetting but not difficult to believe. I got an anon yesterday saying they were worried about getting similar revelations about the other boys, like "if Liam could be doing this we just don't know, any of them could", and while in a way that's always true I guess, anyone could be doing anything in private like... that doesn't really concern me. Because none of these Liam revelations are coming out of nowhere, there have been many MANY steps along the way leading us here if you've been watching, and he has talked openly about both his mental health struggles and his addiction issues. So to answer that anon... to find out something similar about Louis would in contrast contradict everything we know about him and no I'm not worried about it. Is he an abuser or a loose cannon, well that news would truly shock me to my core, I will be honest. But anyway as for the book I don't find it strange that she was nervous when it came out and treading lightly and later decided, fuck it. In the absolutely on point tiktok she dropped today (YES👏GIRL👏FUCKING TELL THEM👏) she even mentions attempts to keep her from publishing the book, presumably by Liam's team, that I am riveted by and cannot WAIT to hear more details about actually- like I said I don't find it at all strange that she was nervous and downplayed it a bit then. But if she says now that it's just about Liam, well, I would say it's been clear from the beginning that the book is their story. Maya herself brought up the parallel of songs being written about stuff and I think it's the same thing; it's true (she was in an abusive relationship that involved certain kinds of events) but maybe not 100% literal (I'm sure details were changed to make the story work, it's not like a word for word timeline of their interactions or whatever).

Cowgirl knows everything about everyone. If something goes down (not just within the Warriors but in Coney Island in general) she knows about it, this is actually the trait Cleon found the most useful about her before realising she could throw a punch

And therefore Cochise also knows everything bc Cowgirl just sits and tells her every detail about her day

I think the Warrior whose business Cowgirl knows the least about is Swan, which upsets her bc she also spends the least time with Swan (she goes on nights out the least) so she just feels guilty for not putting in as much effort with her

This is why she quickly warms to Mercy despite her prior reservations. She’s learning so much about Swan and Mercy doesn’t even realise she’s supplying her with information

Mercy keeps on asking Rembrandt to draw her, which obviously pisses her off. So when she does agree she just sits Mercy down for an hour while she works on an unrelated sketch, just to present Mercy with a very quick, crudely drawn sketch at the end

However, Mercy loves it because she feels it really captures her energy and she hangs it on her wall

Much later on Rembrandt has drawn many pictures of Mercy that she would consider to be good, but Mercy refuses to take down that first sketch. Much to Rembrandt’s disdain.
