Time and Again Chapter 33 has been updated. This is my longest chapter yet at a whopping 11.6K. DAMN.

[fic] loving you is hard (but i’m still going to do it anyways) — chapter one “chunsam, boksoon, or sampal?”

authors note: decided to make a drabble/one-shot collection on ao3. so that all of my books 2838283 WIPs will actually see the light of day. this drabble is just about woohoo + their child seeing a dolphin on jeju island because 🥰 fluff !!!

“Omma! Over there! Look! It’s a dolphin!”

Lee Junho watched in fondness as Youngwoo followed the tiny finger that was pointing in the opposite direction she had previously been looking. She rocked on the balls of her feel in excitement when she saw, for the first time ever, a dolphin jump out from the water. The pure joy that was oozing from her tiny carbon copy in Junho’s arms was nothing compared to the joy Youngwoo must have felt.

“Junho-ssi! Look!” She had been waiting for this moment for years and should have drunk the image in but instead she leaned up on her tiptoes to press the binoculars over his eyes. “Over there. Do you see it?”

Gueru wriggled in Junho’s grasp, feet kicking in the wind as he laughed. “Dolphin, appa , we just saw a dolphin. A real dolphin!”

It took Junho a few seconds to see it but— yes, there it was . A lone dolphin was weaving in and out of the ocean waves. “ Woah!”

“Not woah.” Youngwoo pulled the bronchus’s away and pressed them back to her own face. “Wow! Wow ! That was Sampal, Junho-ssi. Sampal!”

Geuru shook his head at that. “ Omma, that was Chunsam. Sampal doesn’t look like that.”

“Yes, he does.”

“…no. He doesn’t. Sampal—”

“I think,” Junho cleared his throat, cutting them both off, “that was actually Boksoon.”

The silence he was met with after making such a bold declaration was deafening.

Lee Junho spends the better part of that night huddled in bed with his anae and adeul , studying pictures of Boksoon, Chunsam, Sampal, and the rest of the dolphins that were released on Jeju Island.

“Well, you do have a great army of Hige-Higes, Guerus, and Baroms.  You do have really powerful Magnet bombs that are more powerful than my Phantom Bombs, why didn’t they bring back my remote bomb?  Did I forget to mention that your Iron Gauss is a great mecha that can manipulate magnetic fields do destroy bombs on impact?  There’s so many things I want to say, but I don’t want to over-extend.”

The Forces of Magnet Bomber’s Battalion

Magnet Bomber is in charge of Planet Technopolis , and has mechanized the entire planet, turning it into a base for the Buggler Army. It is here that he and the robots that he is in command of reside. These robots include:

Barom

Barom are balloon-shaped robots with a simple face and stubby legs with a open part you blow air into tied up at the top. They attack by charging into foes from either the ground or the air, and are capable of flight. Despite its soft appearance, it is indeed a mechanical creature. The outer shell is merely made of a soft synthetic mesh. They’re best used to scout from high places.

Gueru

Gueru are frog-shaped robots that hop around wherever they go. They’ll skillfully avoid attacks with their long jumps, and then get the drop on the opponent when least expected. Despite the creature they are based off of being a frog, they are unable to swim. They will however croak like a frog, albeit in a clanky mechanical way.

and Hige-Hige Robots

The most human-like and expressive of the robots under Magnet’s command, and the ones who make up the bulk of his forces. These robots used to be the main forces of the Hige-Hige Bandits, but after a certain white bomberman defeated their leader and sent him to jail, the leftover minions were dumped on Planet Scrapheap, where Buggler revived them to work for him in an act of recycling. They attack by walking around, throwing pathetic punches and headbutts. When they get serious, they’ll pull out actual guns and start shooting. It’s as weird as it sounds.
