Defense and Offense mode on

“...Those who carried burdens were loaded in such a way that each labored on the work with one hand and held his weapon with the other.” Nehemiah 4:17

Always keeping our guards up in our spiritual life. This is why Paul asked in Ephesians 6 to put on the amor of God that we may withstand all the schemes of evil in any time of the day. Same thing was being said in Nehemiah chapter 4 when the Jews started rebuilding the temple of God. Despite being busy in doing the task, they did not neglected taking a weapon readily available to them while working because they know that the enemy may attack them anytime. 

In our fight of faith, we must not feel confident that the enemy is just lying around the corner waiting to us to fall into sin. We must know that he is actively preparing to snatch us especially when he sees that we aren’t ready for his attack. Our faith should also be on both defense and offense mode, how? By equipping ourself daily with the Word of God and in prayer sometimes even with fasting, we are making our walls up and armor ready every day against any attack from the enemy.

so there's this thing inside me that's triggered whenever I have feelings for someone, and basically I deny the feelings and act like I don't even like the person when I actually do (a lot) like I don't even mean too, it's just an impulse, like permanently built into me. I've been doing it a lot with him (yes, I'm going to keep him nameless throughout this entire thing, to save him form embarrassment) I'm mostly like that when there are people around, I don't like to be vulnerable in front of people. When me and him are alone then I'm okay with kissing and cuddling, whatever. But around people, no way jose. I don't even walk beside him sometimes when we're in a group of people. I'm fine walking 5 steps ahead or behind. All our friends know we have a thing... I know he's told his friends from home, and so have I, but still. We aren't official, I don't plan on us being official anytime soon. Like I broke up with my boyfriend of a year and a half because I didn't want to be attached to someone anymore, so getting together with him would be unbelievably hypocritical of me.

Yeahps I do too. We all have had our fair share of going out with that one guy who hurt us the most and was just fucking one big of a fucking asshole. No matter how shitty that one guy treated us, we cared and fell in love with him anyway. Why? because we care too much and forgive too easily, at least I am in my case. You go through hell and back just for this douche bag and what do you get in return? Shit, thats what! Fuck the whole being nice, caring too much & forgiving too easy BS. I've been through too much shit at a young age way too early and all for just one hell of a fucking douche bag pathetic lame ass worthless asshole. 

This time will be different. Got my guards up high and any dude that gives me BS is dead mean. I ain't willing to go through another roller coaster ride any time soon and more importantly with any douche who aint worth it. This time around ill take my time, focus on myself and if another guy comes along, he better be ready. This time, It will be a bitch being with me. Like the saying, "if you cant handle me at my worst, you sure as hell dont deserve me at my best." If that makes sense. LOl
