WINDENBURG 2024 ... A HUGE REDUX & UPDATE :)

Here we are ... After 2 weeks of intensive work :D comes the release of Windenburg 2024, 4 years after the first update and 8 years after the first release ... A long time due bold update where we tried to enhance one of the most iconic sims 4 World ...

We made a lot of work on urban stuff ( mainly ) and tried to enhance everything we could, except the ruins which are a work apart ;)

We enhanced the grounds ( streets, pavements ), the walls, some colors of the soils, the rocks, the textures, and even the fake buildings and houses :D

We made too some modifications such as the kakemono ( we made newer simlish pictures ), the streetlights ( we removed the stupid little posters in order to get cooler street lamps ), we added some textures to the plastic/glossy sculptures, we corrected basic textures we didn't make last time, we made an overhaul brighter aspect, we worked on many details all around when it was possible ...

Even where the textures were already ok, we revised the whole stuff ... Well you'll see ;)

We divided this Windenburg ( Get Together ) update in 5 files :

There are an important k-303 file in order to get all the textures in the right place ... a kinda "bizarre" element which doesn't appear without this :/ but do not worry, it's nothing embarrassing for your game ;)

First I didn’t know Sean was James brother he keep working with him cute second nor did I know he was rocket so good! As for the movie where do I start it’s the greatest mcu movie without a doubt and the best mcu trilogy like I knew they was gonna take it bc GOTG are my fav mcu movies but it was way to easy for them, they did it so effortlessly and no one d worded I get my quill back someday while he surrounded by love and family, Will Chuck amazing in their roles and incredible addition to the team so sad they joined on the last GTOG movie but I’m so happy they debuted in the best mcu movies and trilogy since iron man, doctor strange can still have if they pretend the 2nd movie didnt exist and antman 3rd movie didn’t exist make new ones and that could be part of the trilogy and just forgot those 2 existed in any reality same with Thor 4 we get one last

the movie was so good it had everything actions comedy family music the soundtrack was insane the acting Peter and Rocket screams Pratt acting my heart still hurts loved Adam as whole fav new character Will acting was great nothing new Chuck highevolutionary goosebumps I liked the fact that he didn’t have boring sad sob story for us to feel bad or connect or think he can be redeemed like we so tired it dosent work with how much they tried on Wanda and she still is just pure evil trash character villain anyways amazing sequences outfits storyline plot movie cast everything was toptier

LNG Bunkering: The Rise of LNG as a Marine Fuel

State of Global Shipping Industry and Environmental Regulations The global shipping industry plays a vital role in transporting over 80% of world trade. However, it also has significant environmental impacts as ships predominantly use heavy fuel oil (HFO) which emits large amounts of sulfur oxide (SOx) and nitrogen oxide (NOx) gases that are harmful to human health and contribute to climate change problems. In order to reduce these emissions, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) has introduced increasingly stringent regulations on the sulfur content of marine fuels. TheIMO's flagship maritime emission control area called IMO 2020 requires ships to use marine fuels containing maximum 0.5% sulfur content compared to 3.5% sulfur content cap earlier. This has proven to be a challenge for the shipping sector to meet the new norms and find alternatives to compliant low sulfur fuels in a cost effective way. Rise of LNG as an Alternative Marine Fuel Liquefied natural LNG Bunkering has emerged as one of the most viable alternative marine fuels to comply with IMO sulfur emission regulations. LNG burns cleaner with negligible sulfur and particulate emissions making it a compliant marine fuel under the new IMO rules. It also results in 20% fewer greenhouse gas emissions compared to heavy fuel oil. Additionally, LNG is currently the most cost competitive and abundantly available alternative fuel compared to other options such as biofuels and hydrogen. Major advantages of LNG include reduced engine maintenance, longer service life and improved fuel efficiency of vessels. Global LNG trade has increased manifold in the last decade making LNG readily available for bunkering in main ports and shipping lanes worldwide. Growth of Global LNG Bunkering Infrastructure In order to facilitate the use of LNG as a marine fuel, LNG bunkering infrastructure needs to grow significantly from the current low levels. Major LNG Bunkering projects are currently underway in key bunkering hubs of North West Europe, USA, Australia and Asia Pacific. However, challenges remain with coordinating bunkering operations, developing standards for cargo handling, ensuring safety protocols and supplying LNG to smaller ports outside major trade lanes. Pioneering work is being done with mobile LNG bunker vessels and tank trucks that can offer bunkering services in ports that lack permanent infrastructure. International collaboration between governments, ports, shipping companies and energy majors will be crucial to scale up global bunkering and supply chains sustainably in this decade. Standardization bodies like the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) are working on comprehensive bunkering standards and guidelines. Initiatives like the GTOG Alliance aim to accelerate the take up of LNG and establish a global bunkering network by 2025. Economics of LNG Use in Shipping The viability and adoption of LNG as a marine fuel also depends significantly on the price competitiveness relative to conventional bunker fuels over the long run. Currently, LNG for shipping has some premium over high sulfur fuel oil (HSFO) prices, though it is cheaper compared to the new compliant low sulfur alternatives. Ship owners also require to invest in expensive retrofitting and storage tanks for running ships on LNG. However, LNG prices have stayed stable and even corrected in recent times while HSFO and compliant fuel prices continue fluctuating sharply. As global LNG trade increases in volume and bunkering infrastructure expands, prices are expected to normalize further. Existing ships that get retrofitted for dual fuel engine capability can achieve payback on investment in 5-7 years and offer 20 more years of price stable operations. Newbuildings fitted with LNG propulsion enjoy faster payback and consistent long term savings. Overall, with stricter emission regulations, LNG is set to become increasingly competitive on commercial terms as well over the next decade for the global shipping sector transitioning to cleaner alternatives.

pacing back and forth, will ran his fingers through his hair. today, he was shooting for guardians of the galaxy volume 3, and it was gonna be longer than usual. for some reason, this was really stressing him out, and you noticed it too. from the facetime calls you two had, he seemed to be incredibly nervous, so much so you felt the need to fly over to set, with the help of convincing james gunn to secretly fly you out to be there for will.

you managed to make it the night before the shooting, in a nice hotel near set, and so in the morning, you stepped foot outside with your messenger bag, waiting for your uber to come pick you up. once it did, you got inside and headed off to surprise will on set.

your phone started ringing and it was him calling. answering it, you immediately smiled. “hey dear.” you hummed.

“hi, my darling y/n. today i’m officially shooting for this really long day. wish me luck.” he chuckled, and you laughed back. “god, good luck. don’t know how that feels, but i know how memorizing lines is! theatre and all,” you mumbled the last part.

“yeah. well, i’m off. fuck me, i’m kinda nervous. i wasn’t this nervous with the maze runner..” he sighed, and you frowned a bit.

“well, will, i know you’ll be okay. doing over the lines multiple times always helps. work on facial expressions.” you suggested as this gave you enough time to stall, and get out the car, making your way to his set.

“that’s helpful dear. thank you, i really don’t know what i’d do without you. you are truly the best girlfriend ever.” he sighed, and you grinned widely as you entered the set.

“i love you.” he added at the end, and you definitely heard that from inside set.

“i love you too, will.” you responded away from the phone, which made him turn his head with the quickness, almost causing whiplash. you could hear the other members laughing 

when he saw you, he immediately came running over to hug you, despite being in costume and possibly stinking up the costume by running so much.

hugging him back, you sighed. “i’m here to help you. get you out of the hole, if you will.” you referenced, getting a loud laugh in response.

“what would i do without you, y/n.” he asked rhetorically.

before, during, and after every scene you checked up on will. went over his script with him, gave him support and love, and some advice.

“almost over, will. after this we will order 24 hour pizza delivery and eat it to our hearts desires if that’s what you want.” you offered, and he closed his eyes and nodded.

about an hour passed and will was done with the hard part. with a content smile on his face and a loud sigh, he gave you another hug.

“thank you, y/n. this was the best thing you could’ve done for me. i will never thank you enough for this. you really are the best girlfriend ever.”

“i love you, too, will.”

Okay, so I'm right in the middle of the GOTG cartoon. I have a small crush on animated Peter Quill. I'm really annoyed he sleeps in a shirt. (Loving his really muscle-y design btw.) Like, were there no female animators working on this show? What higher ups decided "Hey, he should sleep in a shirt!" When his personality alone makes me think any version of him never would. There have been no shirtless scenes at all for him so far. I know the show was aimed for 7 year olds, but there is such a thing as parental fan service, which also makes any adult fans happy. I want justice!
