Title: WMMT5DX+ to WMMT6 Changes w/ Riya's TRUE IMPREZA
IMPORTANT NOTE: I haven't posted my recent Wangan Maxi Tune experience, this month. So maybe, I could post at least once before doing some art stuff? Who knows? 🤔🤷♀️ Anyways, let's head over to my throwback...
The changes between 5DX+ and the No. 6 installment weren't as thin as before. 🤏 While the gameplay and graphics haven't changed since WMMT4 (well, kind of...?), the features from transferring data from 5DX+ to WMMT6 were a bit of a mixed bag. 😕 Like the "Extreme" VS Player mode was gone (which is an excitement challenge), and other body parts were removed, like "Body Stickers." The latter was my main concern for my 350Z and the Speedster's Impreza cars (GDB-C & GDB-F). Take Riya's Impreza Car [GBD-F].
• ABOVE PHOTO 🖼️📲: (Jan. 12,2019 at World Of Fun Arcade, SM Megamall) Here could you see her car itself was a custom body from "Racing Stripe 2" with pink color, GT Wing (3D) 1, Aero Parts C, Enkei Racing WRX TARMAC EVO Limited Edition FORGED Wheels, and FRP Bonnet A. All of them are equipped on her except her color because I need to unlock the "Light Blue" color (which is her color choice) by playing it many times.
• BELOW PHOTO 🖼️📲: Six months later, the WMMT6 was finally in the Philippines, and here's how her car was without all of the customs bodies except the Aero Parts - I picked the letter "H" for a different look. So why all of her custom bodies are wiped out except the entire Aero Parts are completely unlocked? Well because BNA (Bandai Namco Amusement) had a plan to return the level-up unlock body parts (after you beat a ghost car opponent(s)) which I've seen before in WMMT3DX+ among with predecessors, seems that in exchange for wiping off all custom cars to newly features like upgrade to 840HP when I finished the 100 episodes of "Story Mode" (that's also returned from previous Wangan Maxi installments), replacing RUF cars to Porsche brand, purchased a fully tuned ticket/ Mazda MX-5 RF RS [NDERC]/ Nissan Leopard with my Maxi Points, an improved "Online Ghost VS Battle" etc... So tbh and my opinion, well bit disappointing but very understandable so I respect that.
To this day, the developers of Wangan Maxi Tune are ongoing with updates and changes for both 6RR and 6RR+. And the latter installment has yet to be proven if it shipped to Southeast Asia 🇵🇭🇸🇬🇲🇾🇮🇩🇧🇳🇻🇳🇹🇭, and selected regions like Australia 🇦🇺, New Zealand 🇳🇿, and India 🇮🇳. North America 🇺🇸, on the other hand, still had the old (yet vanilla) 5DX+ installment... 😐😑
Riya 🐰🏎️ [wearing Teenager Hoppy and Teenager CatNap's clothes combined]: *Sigh* Yeah, and I bet we won't see our signature "Twin Stripes" sticker body, anytime soon. 😥 Even the launching 6RR+ installment to us, it won't happened. Curse you, BNA! 😐😑

These drivers represent the pinnacle of Lamborghini's commitment to nurturing talent in GT and sportscar racing.
Training and Development
The Super Trofeo and GT3 Junior Programs provide comprehensive training, including media management and on-track instruction, designed to enhance technical skills and physical conditioning. This development occurs at Lamborghini’s state-of-the-art gym facilities in Sant’Agata Bolognese, reinforcing a holistic approach to driver preparation.
Instructor Appointments
Further illustrating the program's success, several former participants have been appointed as official Lamborghini instructors. Baptiste Moulin, Marcus Påverud, Oliver Söderström, and Pierre Louis Chovet join esteemed instructors Jonathan Ceccotto and Alberto Di Folco, underscoring their professional prowess beyond competitive racing.
Partnership with Macron
The 2024 Lamborghini Young Driver Program is conducted in collaboration with Macron, a leading Bolognese sportswear brand. Macron will exclusively provide uniforms and training kit for all participants, reinforcing Lamborghini Squadra Corse's commitment to excellence in motorsport development.
In summary, the 2024 Young Driver Programs by Lamborghini Squadra Corse promise an exciting season of talent discovery and development, setting the stage for the future stars of GT and sportscar racing.

JMW Motorsport will make its GT World Challenge Asia Powered by AWS debut in 2020 with Andrew Haryanto and Andy Meyrick. The Pro/Am duo will race a Bentley Continental GT3, which returns to the championship for the first time since 2018. It also brings the total number of manufacturers confirmed for the upcoming campaign to five and ensures Bentley will be represented in all three GT World Challenge championships across Asia, Europe and America.
Haryanto gears up for his first full season in Asia’s biggest GT series after finishing second in 2017’s Am Cup standings and making several appearances in ’19. Meanwhile, Meyrick – a former Bentley factory driver – embarks on his first season on the continent since making selected GT Asia outings aboard Bentley’s previous-generation model in 2015.
It’s a similar story for JMW who are one of the highest profile sportscar racing teams in Europe and best known for competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship, European Le Mans Series and the Le Mans 24 Hours. 2020 represents the British team’s debut season with Bentley and their first in GT World Challenge Asia.
“When I first raced in sportscars back in 2009 I saw JMW Motorsport in the Le Mans Series paddock and always aspired to race for them,” said Meyrick. “Over the following 10 years I had a career that saw me race an LMP1 for Aston Martin at Le Mans, tackle the biggest endurance races in the USA, compete as a Bentley works team driver at the highest level of GT3 racing and much, much more. It’s incredible that after all of this, I’ll finally race with JMW Motorsport, who have gone on to achieve so much as a team.
“I’m looking forward to taking the Bentley brand to Asia and showing what the Continental GT3 is capable of – I know Andrew is up for the challenge and I’m sure he’ll be a fantastic team-mate both on- and off-track.”
Bentley’s Director of Motorsport, Paul Williams, added: “Having Continental GT3s capable of winning races in GT World Challenge Asia has been top of our priorities list for a while and, with JMW Motorsport, we believe we have this in place. There will now be a Bentley present in each of the GT World Challenge series making it a truly global customer motorsport programme.” Sepang hosts the opening round of GT World Challenge Asia’s 2020 campaign on March 28/29. Buriram, Fuji, Suzuka and two events at Shanghai – the second a three-hour endurance race – complete the championship’s six-round, 11-race schedule.

Kris Wu becomes the first Porsche China Motorsport Representative and sets eyes on Le Mans
❖ As the brand celebrated 20 years in the Chinese mainland, Porsche announced Kris Wu as its first Porsche China Motorsport Representative. ❖ Kris revealed his intention to race at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. ❖ New racing team 20xx established.
Shanghai – On Saturday night, two days before the Shanghai International Automobile Industry Exhibition, Porsche celebrated its 20-year anniversary in the Chinese mainland and announced Kris Wu as the first Porsche China Motorsport Representative.
Though he is primarily known as an on-stage artist, Kris began his transition from motorsport enthusiast to professional racing driver last year with coaching and training from Porsche in the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport. This culminated in a double victory in the GT4 category of the Porsche Sprint Challenge China on his race debut as well as the car’s lap record at the Shanghai International Circuit.
“It is a great honour to continue our partnership with Porsche in motorsport,” said an excited Kris Wu. “I love racing and believe that motorsport is something that should be promoted. I hope to contribute to the development of domestic motorsport culture together with Porsche, so that more people will take notice of this sport. I aim to continue improving my driving and hope to have the opportunity to participate in more professional races.”
Kris has already demonstrated his incredible potential and set an example of success for Chinese motorsport enthusiasts. But the rising star has further ambitions for his life of thrilling high-speed action, including taking on the world’s most famous endurance race – the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
As one of motorsport’s most successful brands, Porsche has been committed to the development of sports cars and motorsport culture for many years. It established itself in mainland China in 2001 and has catered to Asia’s increasing presence in global motorsport. Porsche’s support of Kris’ activities is the perfect example of the Porsche Motorsport Pyramid, which aims to launch racing careers, nurture talent and develop skills to put drivers on the podiums of the world’s most prestigious races.
Mr. Daniel Schmollinger, Vice President Marketing of Porsche China, presented Kris Wu with a special 1:8 scale model based on his Porsche 911 GT3 R and congratulated him at the celebration: “Kris is an extremely talented racing driver and his uncompromising dedication and pursuit of his racing dream is a perfect match for Porsche's commitment to promoting sports cars and motorsport culture in the Chinese mainland over the past 20 years. We hope that through this partnership, more people will come to love motorsport and experience for themselves the unparalleled passion of racing. We wish him every success with his racing career.”
Dr. -Ing. Jens Puttfarcken, President and CEO of Porsche China, also praised Kris Wu: “Kris is the first Porsche China Motorsport Representative and I see in him the young generation's racing spirit that defies challenges and strives for excellence. I hope that with his influence, we can spread the passion of motorsport to more people. I also wish him all the best for his professional racing career."
In 2021, Kris will step up to competing in the Porsche 911 GT3 R in the brand-new GT Super Sprint Challenge, while maintaining his presence in the Porsche Sprint Challenge China. In addition, his newly formed race team 20xx will join the grid of Asia’s premier one-make series – Porsche Carrera Cup Asia. The team will make its maiden appearance at the Official Test Days in Shanghai on 30 April – 2 May, where Kris will also sample the new Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992).
