Who is this?

This is Iniko~ Avatar of Knowledge from the Prothean Empire, who was actually in stasis before the Reaper War of their cycle even began due to an experiment gone awry that attempted to use stasis as a way to grow biotic potential. It worked, although an error caused Head Researcher Iniko to become trapped in stasis and forgotten in the top secret bunker. To be awoken in this cycle~

Iniko is very vain and confident, considering her societal status in the past as a respected figure of intelligence and wisdom. Not much can make her lose her stoic, disdained composure. Save for a successful, experienced, confident woman. When she’s attracted to a lady all her hard work and posturing always seem to give way to blushing and melting that she hides behind a cold distant disposition the best she can. It does slip through more than she’d like.

Who is this?

Marli D’vequa, fourth cousins with Treyx, but they’ve never met each other or heard of each other.

Marli is quite a brilliant scientist, specialising in cloning, animal behaviour, and conservation. She is employed all over the galaxy to restore extinct animals into a stable population. And her own passion project is in the study of animal behaviours all over the galaxy.

She often documents these expeditions with a cameradrone she dubbed SIBER. And the only weapon she carries is a tranq gun called a Whistler. One dart will take down a human for forty minutes. A whole clip’s worth (six darts) is needed to knock a Krogan out, only for ten minutes.

She does not like farmers and agricultural workers as they are usually a direct obstacle in restabilising animal populations and she often loses her temper if she needs to speak with them.

Currently she has not seen another person in almost a hundred years, having been contracted for an insane amount of work that she has been doing by herself rather than with a team. She tends to be awkward and not very well socialised. And has no idea how to act when she has a crush on someone, which can be anyone as a pansexual gal. She currently has never had a partner before or even kissed, and assumes she will not as she is self conscious of her thighs.

Above all she truly loves animals and is endlessly fascinated and enthralled by learning about them and watching them live their lives. Learning their animal languages.

Her only companion is a cloned feathery baby velociraptor named Tupari, whom keeps her company on her adventures or hermiting in her shuttle/lab/home.

Who is this?

This is Rasel Ford, a deadbeat softie who was born on Earth. He was raised by his Granny Desha. She’s actually his Great Grandma but her and Ras have taken to removing the “great” as it seems needless, given his parents or grandparents are not around. He doesn’t know her age and lost count after 210.

He’s not exactly what you call a successful individual, living a precariously dysfunctional life in a trailer park with no job near the slummy apartment complex his Grandma lives in. All the human neighbours in the complex think Desha is a witch for the strange and at times downright terrible smelling foods she brews up and the drying smoky insense always burning in her apartment. Recipes dating back to traditional Drell culture from the eras of Rakhana before the planet fell apart. Ras jokes about these brews being the reason that she’ll never die, and how she is so independent and sharp of mind outside of needing a walking frame, but is always a beck and call away to help her with any heavy lifting.

As for Rasel, he is not the ideal neighbour either as he feeds stray animals to the point they hang around the area more, and bangs on the giant Taiko drum strapped to the top of his trailer until the early hours when he needs to work off steam. And isn’t very informed or connected to Drell culture at all.

His clothing is all stained and his diet greasy and cheap, sharing wings with the cats and dogs that hang around his trailer and staining his wife beaters with condiments and oil. Despite his appearance and life situation making many turn their nose up at him, Ras is the most laid back, non-judgmental person there is and it’s hard not to get attached to him and his gentle, easy-going nature despite his chaotic lifestyle.

The only thing he is passionate about is free diving in Earth’s oceans, despite the risk of developing Kepral’s Syndrome, it brings him far too much happiness to give it up despite the concern of his loved ones.

He doesn’t have a lot of luck in the dating world as while he finds it easy to vibe with both men and women, he doesn’t present as much of a catch with his dirty clothing and lack of funds on the first date. It’s not like him to dwell or be bitter though so he takes whatever life gives him with a smile like a leaf in the wind.

If you need to vent with no judgment over a bottle of beer and a bucket of wings for hours and hours, he’s your boy

Who is this?

This is Evander Teius! Turian spectre and hardcore dog dad. He was a pilot in the Turian military before he got that shiny Spectre promotion when he was frankly probably too young for the job, that allowed him to travel all over the Galaxy and get his hands on his first of many biotic puppers liberated from the black market taking down animal traffickers; Ceasar.

Evander was a “lone wolf” kinda guy, while he started out as bright eyed and hoping to make a positive impact on the galaxy as he aged compassion fatigue over the years and seeing the worst of sapient minds turned him grouchy and cynical of other people. And picking up a huge cigarette addiction along the way. While he himself still strives to do good he no longer cares about anything face value like manners or diplomacy. Or even making friends. He assumes the worst of people and is unapologetic about it. Saving his affection only for his dogs whom he trusts with his life.

He has trained and fitted his five canines with all sorts of commands, tech and nurtured their biotics as aces up his sleeve due to their cloaking tech. And fancies himself an expert dog trainer at this point with the goods to back it up.

Evander has been gay for his entire life, and never told his parents who hope to see him marry a nice lady. He has a turian friend in a similar situation of not matching her parents expectations of that has been in an entirely fake relationship with him for three years for all the family visits.

His actual boyfriend is an equally angry quarian man named Vaan. Who hates people and loves animals and possesses insane biotic power. They are very happy with collectively hating people together.

This ship here is my gal Treyx and my friend’s character Harry. I’m pretty sure they were my first ME OC ship if I remember correctly. They have a hilarious but also adorable non-relationship that is forbidden, if Treyx’s Krogan family knew she was sleeping with a Turian hell would break loose. And if Harry’s protective older sister caught wind of Treyx’s non-commital hold of her baby brother’s heart she’d be out for blood.
