What do you think your Bearmon's evolution route would be?

Something like this:

YukimiBotamon > Kapurimon > Bearmon > Gryzmon > Pandamon > Dianamon?

I always wanted to design an Ultimate Stage myself, but I've never managed anything I was satisfied with. I think Dianamon would be cool. Gryzmon does have a crescent shape on its head, and I like the red/pink accent that goes through the whole line like this!

Headcanons for Gryzmon

They absolutely love anything that needs marmalade in it like toast.

Very playful and love when you go to the park with them so you can take pictures and show them later.

They're not too fond of teddy bears, they think cat plushies are way cuter because they think teddy bears need way too many accessories.

They love going to candle stores and smelling the seasonal scents, especially those with pumpkin in them.

They don't like ice cream and prefer frozen yogurt cause it's healthier and doesn't make their tummy bloat.

Even if the resurrected Honju may need Kafka finish it of I can see Gryzmon really giving it a beating

Kai definitely weakened it quite a bit as even regeneration saps away at one's stamina. He also made sure any energy attacks blow up in the Honju's whether by interrupting the strike or redirecting the blast with a well timed counter. All of Kafka's Digimon children are smart cookies as he taught them everything they needed.

Imagine a Fillmore! Digimon AU

Like not one where they have Digimon partners, that’d be cool too, but one where they are Digimon themselves. Yeah, imagine Fillmore and Ingrid investigating some case and finally finding out who the perp is, only for the perp to digivolve straight to Champion and now the two patrollers are running from the perp and not the other way around. 

It’d be an interesting ‘monster of the week’ kind of scenario because now instead of having to chase the perp all over the school, they have to find a way to either subdue the raging Champion as Rookie-level digimon or digivolve themselves.

I did have some Digimon forms/lines in mind for them:  

Fillmore - Elecmon (X-Antibody/Virus, due to his past delinquency issues being a major theme of the show) - Leomon - Saberleomon - Dinotigermon

Ingrid: Falcomon (NOT the 2006 version/X-Antibody) - Diatrymon - Yatagaramon (Crowmon) - Ravmon

O’Farrell: Calumon

josephine: demidevimon. i like to think that she sits in the rafters and snitches on unruly patrons very loudly. and ruins peoples poker games with intentionally bad backseating

aster: rurimon. theres a universe out there where aster is the protagonist so naturally she has to have an agumon variant

gladwish: ganvivormon. theres something so funny to me about digimon partners that are way too on the nose

dakota: drimogemon (tsukaimon @ rookie). they met in the mines before dakota went to hell . hes too big to fit in the saloon as drimogemon so he has to shrink back to tsukaimon

wing dubois: piyomon. do NOT let the cute pink bird fool you, he is an ASSHOLE

They were still coming. Lungs burned from exertion, muscles screamed, she was fairly certain she’d cracked at least two bones already, and they were still coming.

“Fall back, Monie!” Normally she would listen when Casey took that tone, no-nonsense and harsh, but he looked as bad as she felt. Blood trickling away as data, battered and torn, still pushing back against the small rookie and champion levels that were managing to get passed their partners. Even with Gokuwmon’s help, there was only so much Cyberdramon and Gryzmon could do to stem the tide, where there were digimon as strong if not stronger than them among the charge. And back down the tunnel-

“Not without you!”

Marian, Ezekiel, Seahomon. He wasn’t a fighter, he was a hacker, and there was only so much the other two could do to defend the civilians with them against the horde. She would never be able to live with herself if she ran and innocent people got hurt. She’d fall before she let that happen.

The crest around her neck gave off a rich red glow. Out in the open, Gryzmon shone with what she knew for others was a blinding light, but for her was as warm and welcoming as a gentle fire. He grew, quickly dwarfing the other two, flaring out great wings and whipping many tails. When the light faded he stood a wall of black and red fur, gleaming metal, and loosed a roar the shook the enemy to their knees.

“Gryzmon digivolve to… Death-X-Doruguremon!”

His central tail, like a flail, smashed through the crowd forcing their way inside, sending those it didn’t immediately burst into data flying. Breaking into a sharp, gap-toothed grin, she threw herself against another Pucchiemon as the ultimates called congratulations between themselves, dodging the massive metal balls Death-X-Doruguremon fired at the enemy forces.

“And I'm definitely not leaving now!”

Yes, I did indeed mean for both Terriermon and Lopmon to be their X variants! I should have made that clearer, LOLS.

I was asked to do the Babylon Rogues for the AU, but I'm not entirely sure if I want to stick to some of the ideas I had for them. I'd definitely drop Crusadermon/Rhodoknightmon as the final evo for Jet's partner, and I might just make Wave's partner Blimpmon because... Well, they live on a blimp, and Wave is a mechanical genius like Tails. Her having the literal Blimp Digimon would make sense. Beyond that, I know I want Jet to have a virus type Digimon as his partner, but besides Tinkermon (who doesn't fit the bird theme), there's not... a wide variety of Bird Digimon out there that are virus type, and the most recent Virus Type Bird Digimon is... Vulturemon. A Digimon I don't think fits Jet at all, and I kind of don't want to do any overlap. Well, there is Soundbirdmon, but that's more boomboxy and not really part of Jet's asthetic in general. I might make Soundbirdmon Vector's previous form Digimon, just for the sake of it... As for Jet, maybe Owlmon? It's my biggest grasp of straws if you want an official Digimon.

Storm sticks with Biyomon/Piyomon and Peckmon because I'm an ass to Storm.

As for the others... Fang's definitely the guy who'd have a Digimon that's either all guns, or silly and over the top. My main two choices are Doggymon/Dogmon or Gundramon, but Gundramon's a bit too cool for Fang as is, so Doggymon/Dogmon I'd pick.

Mighty, Mighty, Mighty. I might lean more into his peaceful nature, but also Armadillomon is a good fit for him... If I didn't have Manic, I'd pick Armadillomon for him.

Ray? That's a bit trickier, I guess a Digimon that prefers gliding and is still a mammal Digimon would do, but I don't think there's a lot of those... Wait, What about Tobucatmon? That'd be a good digimon for him.

Bean would have Iguneetmon/Ignitemon, a Digimon that's precariously living on the edge with it's grenade on it's neck. Explosions would occur.

As for Bark... I give up and give him Gryzmon/Grizzmon. Because they're bears.

What do you think of some of my choices on the Digimon partners? I made sure to pick Digimon based on character personality and their main motivations/characteristics instead of 'which one is popular? I think this one...' like some people do. Arcadimon was the hardest, because I knew it was gonna be the one I wouldn't have been sure about the most...

Sonic: Veemon/V-mon

This is definitely the most no brainer one, I also independently thought of this and I think it's a perfect fit. Magnamon is definitely also the most Super Sonic of all megas lol

Tails: Jazamon

Hadn't heard of this one! I like him though. He combines Tails main things which is flying and being mechanically inclined. I was having a hard time thinking of a good partner pick for Tails personally. I think this is a good pick.

Amy: Shortmon

CUUUUUUTE! 💯 absolutely perfect choice holy fuck. I also like how it's a champion level (although apparently that was just made up by a reference book but whatever).

Knuckles: Vorvomon

Lava dragon. For some reason that fits really really well? Also apparently this boyo is a co-partner with Jazamon in their debut, so that fits pretty well for Tails and Knuckles being Sonic's right and left hand buddies. So yeah, good pick.

Big: Frogmon

Nuff said

Cream: Terriermon and Lopmon Version X

Not sure if you meant both of them would be X Antibodies or if Terriermon would be normal and only Lopmon is the X ver, but either way I think this is a delightful pick. Also for some reason I really enjoy Cream having two partners.

Shadow: Arcadimon (Perfect/Ultimate)

Yup that one's spot on. Fits his aesthetic perfectly. Also love Shadow having an Ultimate as his default partner.

Rouge: Witchmon

Pfft, perfect. Just oozes femme fatale energy. And love her having a champion as well.

Vector: Deckerdramon

Fucking rad. Maybe Vector's would have boom boxes instead of missile launchers.

Espio: Igamon

lol literally just fucking ninjamon. I mean yeah, what else would it be?

Charmy: Fanbeemon

ALSO one I decided upon myself, the instant I learned about Fanbeemon's existence.

E-123 Omega: Guardomon

Checks out. Though personally I might have gone with Gargomon for the sake of the Barret gunhands, but if Cream is gonna have Terriermon we wouldn't want to double up like that.

Blaze: Leomon

Dead cat walking. But for real, think this is a good fit. He could have a bodyguard type vibe for the princess too. Personally I might have gone with Gatomon or Black Gatomon, but then I guess their evolutions would diverge from the theme whereas Leomon stays a cat all the way up to mega.

Marine: Captain Hookmon

10/10 moving on

Silver: Exermon

Unusual choice I think but I love it, really fits Silver's aesthetic.

Infinite: Negamon -> Abbadomon

Fucking A that's perfect. Be careful who you bully in highschool indeed. Also not sure if it's meant to imply a warp evolution or if he'd digivolve up through the stages naturally, but personally I like the idea of it being Negamon when he's just the mercenary, and warp evolving all the way up once he gets phantom ruby infused.

Eggman: ??? (May possibly be his own creation)

My personal choice would be Machinedramon. Especially if we're talking the Digimon World version, specifically. Because in that case, yeah. Definitely fits as a "frankensteins monster" digimon choice.

This is why I wanted to ask you cuz you know about way more digimon than I do, I was either struggling with picks or going with really basic bitch choices lol. Definitely would accept all of these partnerships as canon in any kind of cross over.

The only ones missing are the Babylon Rogues and maybe the classic characters like Fang Mighty Ray Bean and Bark.

My favorite Digimon is Bearmon! If I had a Bearmon Partner Digimon, this would be the evolution line:

The Official Digimon Card Game Twitter didn't start sharing cards regularly until around BT-08, and anything before BT-05 is especially hard to find. I usually have to edit multiple versions of the image together. I hope you all appreciate the effort!

A drabble for the DigiDad crossover, specifically the Exam where Kikoru is being attacked by resurrected by Kaiju No.9

Of all things that Kikoru expected when she took part of the exam, this was something that did not even cross her mind in the craziest fantasies that popped up in her head. Yet here it was, a small bear(what she thought was a toy) was trying to fight off against a Honju that was brought back to life by a strange humanoid kaiju and he was failing.

The small bear was flung into one of the faux buildings that the exam area had, yet despite all the scratches bruises and other wounds it got up from the ground and looked at her.

"Go, get help I can handle this." The strange bear gasped out as it's right arm hung limply at its side, but something in her as she saw this small fuzzy(adorable) and hurt creature causing something in her snap as in her mind her father told her.

'Kikoru, for the future of this country you must be perfect.' That single phrase that has been drilled into her for most of her life caused her to pick up her weapon again.

"I Will Be Perfect!!!" She shouted out as she got up ready to fight against the Honju, granted that soon to be a mistake as it made her seem like a bigger threat, in a flash Kikoru found herself smashed against one of the buildings. Even with pushing her suit as far as she could feel her bones break and stab into her, with the iron taste of blood filling her mouth.

Yet she would not let herself be defeated so easily, as she glared defiantly at the Honju as it stomped towards as a pair of new horns from its skull and a ball of energy began to grow inbetween them.

"I won't lose! I will still fight!" She yelled but sounded more like a cry as the Honju fired off an energy ball at her, and oddly the small bear dashed in front of her as it held up its on good arm.

"Then I'll make sure that you can still fight! I'm not gonna let this jerk hurt you anymore!!" He shouted out with all the strength he had left he glared at the upcoming attack but it seemed he had one last trick to use. As he glowed a brilliant and blinding bluish white light as his form began to change and time slowed down as it did, from a small and cuddly to an absolutely massive more bear like form nearly matching the Honju is size with massive gauntlets paws with metal claws that shined with sharpened steel.

Once the light died down and then time resumed as the Honju's attack raced towards them but the massive bear just growled as it raised on it's hind legs and pulled back one of its massive paws

"MAUL ATTACK!!" It roared its paw became a blurr as it slammed against the energy attack and somehow sent it back to the Honju causing the energy to blow up in its face, literally as the massive bear slammed back onto the ground Kikoru only had one question.

"What are you?" She whispered out as she stared at him awe, and apparently the strange creature heard her as it looked down at her and spoke.

"I'm Gryzmon now"

I LOVE this. Absolutely fits how both Kikoru and Kai felt during the whole confrontation. Done with being thrown by some juiced up zombie.
