I was thinking if Gru and Lucy met each other when they were younger. (at least before DM2)

I'm writing a novel about their days when Gru was a 30-year-old active supervillain and Lucy was a 10-year-old lonely girl.

In the novel, Lucy was neglected by her parents and felt lonely until she found Gru stealing some treasure. She begged him to train her as a supervillain and they worked together. As Lucy spent time with Gru, she realized she's in love with him.

However, those days didn't last forever. When they tried to steal treasure, they encountered another supervillain and Gru protected Lucy from the supervillain's attack.

After that, they were arrested and hospitalized by AVL and Lucy heard Gru lost his memory of the days with her. She was shocked and cried so much. She had nowhere to go, so she decided to work at AVL.

20 years later, Ramsbottom told Lucy that Gru retired as a supervillain and AVL wanted him as a work-ready agent. At first, she hesitated to convince him to join AVL because he couldn't remember her, but Ramsbottom said she could build a good relationship with Gru from scratch even if he never could remember her. So she decided to convince Gru.

Just as Lucy expected, Gru completely forgot about her, but he was still charming to her. After many days later, they finally got married.

Now, Lucy feels happy with her children and her beloved husband.
