you whisper-yelled, resting your hand over your chest as you saw your boyfriend’s face outside your window.

“open this!” he mouthed, gesturing you to open your window. “hurry up!”

all sorts of alarms rang in your head, wondering why the fuck your boyfriend was not at your front door like a normal person but at your window — that too, at two in the morning.

“hey, what’s wrong?” you asked as you pushed open the frame, brows etched with worry. “is everything–”

before you could continue, jihoon smashed his lips against yours, taking you by surprise. he took full control of the kiss, blissfully sighing as he felt you kiss him back.

it hadn’t even been that long since he saw you, but oh, how he missed the taste of your lips.

"jihoon," you mumbled between the kisses, still confused. "what's going–"

you paused as you felt his hands on your waist, pulling you closer as you gave into the kiss completely.

jihoon merely smiled against your lips, the simple sensation of your lips against his sending him into overdrive. he turned his head, deepening the kiss as his hands moved to hold your hips tightly.

you simply complied, the intensity and passion behind his kisses making your stomach flip a thousand somersaults.

jihoon pulled away, a dazed smile on his face as he looked at you. "hey," he muttered, his raspy voice making your chest hurt with how adorable he looked.

"hey? it's two in the morning, love." you chuckled, shaking your head. "what's the occasion to be greeted like this?"

jihoon only smiled in response, his crescent eyes filled with adoration, depriving you of every breath you tried to take.

he tried to reply to you. he really did.

but one look at the confused pout on your face, and he was leaning back in, pressing his lips against yours.

We mark today the first anniversary of the passing away of our ever dearest comrade Jose Maria Sison, founding chair of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Philippines, and great communist leader of the Philippine revolution.

We celebrate his revolutionary life and great contributions to the theory of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism through its practical application on the concrete conditions of Philippine society and in waging national democratic revolution.

We will forever treasure the legacy of theoretical and practical work that Ka Joma bequeathed the Party to help guide the new generation of revolutionary proletarian cadres and Party members and Filipino revolutionary fighters, as they wage life and death class struggle to overthrow the reign of those who exploit and oppress the broad masses of the Filipino people.

Through his body of work, Ka Joma defined the revolutionary landscape in the Philippines for over five decades. Several generations of Party cadres and leaders, Red commanders and fighters of the New People’s Army and revolutionaries and activists looked up to Ka Joma’s leadership and sought guidance from his insightful Marxist-Leninist-Maoist analysis.

The program for a people’s democratic revolution or national democracy, which Ka Joma first elaborated, represents a complete break from the now 77 year history of semicolonial and semifeudal system in the Philippines. It seeks to realize the Filipino people’s aspiration for national and social liberation which have inspired thousands of uprisings throughout three centuries of colonial and semicolonial subjugation.

Ka Joma’s work remains ever relevant, modern and future-proof, in contrast to the official bourgeois liberal, neoliberal, and anti-communist ideas promoted by the reactionary state that represents the moribund system that is way beyond its time. His sharp analysis of the backward feudal and semifeudal, agrarian and non-industrial conditions of the semicolonial and semifeudal system remains key in understanding the necessity of waging a people’s democratic revolution.

Since his death, a campaign to study the works of Ka Joma has been carried out within the Party and among the organizations and movements which has has inspired. Key works of the Ka Joma, including Struggle for National Democracy, Philippine Society and Revolution, Rectify Errors and Rebuild the Party, Specific Characteristics of Our People’s War, Our Urgent Tasks, Reaffirm our Basic Principles, Stand for Socialism against Modern Revisionism and many others, are being circulated in print and digital form. Ka Joma’s Five Volume set of books are being promoted and translated to local languages.

The work of Ka Joma continues to serve as guide to the Party and Philippine revolution. His theoretical writings remain ever crucial in the ideological, political and organizational building of the Party, waging armed struggle through extensive and intensive guerrilla warfare, carrying forward the revolutionary mass movement in both the cities and countryside, as well as in conducting peace negotiations with the co-belligerent Government of the Republic of the Philippines (GRP).

His legacy continues to serve as source of inspiration and guidance for the Central Committee and all leading committees of the CPP. You hated history class. Not because you didn’t understand it but because of Haruto. Him and his big head blocking the board, and to rub salt into the wound, he always manages to score higher than you in this class.

Before he moved here, you were the top of the school. Then when he transferred to your class, your top spot in history was quickly taken away. It didn’t matter how much time you spent studying and reviewing the material, Haruto somehow always managed to beat you.

But only one thing infuriated you more than the fact that Haruto didn’t study. He didn’t put hours and hours into reading every word in a book. It was the fact that he always smirked at you everytime you received your scores back.

Lost in your head, you don’t notice the worried glances that come from the very same boy who you were thinking about.

“Hey, can I talk to you for a minute?” Your face immediately turned into a scowl at Haruto’s voice. “Fine. Make it quick though. I’m busy.” You made sure to put emphasis on the busy part. Haruto grins, “I was wondering if you would like to hang out with me at the library.”

Apparently, your facial expression is noticeable despite the fact you tried to hide the fact you were shocked. Haruto starts to ramble, mentioning that he’s seen you at the library studying alone and he wants to help keep you company.

Thinking it over, you decide it’s a great time to figure out exactly how he manages to wing it everytime. When you accept the offer, you don’t notice Haruto’s grin that stretches from cheek to cheek.

“You know,” Haruto perks up at your voice. The library is quiet, with the only inhabitants being you, Haruto and the librarian. “We would be a very good team if we didn’t hate each other.” Haruto visibly deflates when you say the word hate.

“What do you mean? I don’t hate you.” He whispers in a quiet tone. Confused, you bring up everytime that he smirked at you whenever you got a lower score than him. You watch as Haruto’s mouth goes into an ‘o’ shape.

“I didn’t do that to mock you. I did that because I thought you might like the support. I know how hard you work for your grades.” Spluttering for a defense, you manage to bring up how he never seemed to study as if that was to mock you and your habits.

This construct was created by an artificer who was ordered to create a battlefield construct capable of building houses for the colonizing Empire of Hell, but insisted on making it edgy. He very much succeeded.

It stands 40 feet fall when in battle mode, but can reshape itself as needed to distribute labor to all areas of the house it would be working on. It weights 45,000 pounds

Combat

As its equipment suggests, a constructinator 40k unleashes devastating strikes on whoever it fights. It fights straight forward, moving in close to attack a foe unless given orders by its commander.

Infrared Vision (Ex): The constructinator 40k can see light on the infrared spectrum, and is thus immune to effects like invisibility, hide in plain sight, or any other concealment that does not extend to this light spectrum.

Homing Nails (Ex): Once per round as a free action, the Constructinator 40K can lauch a barrage of nails  that home in on a target within 60 feet. The attack does not miss and deals 5d4+10 points of damage. In an area of anti-magic, the Constructinator 40K must make a ranged attack roll of +33 to land the nails. It can use this action 6 times before needing to be reloaded. This ability may bypass certain damage reduction depending on the metal of the nails.

This was mostly a joke boss I decided to take seriously for a side quest during a cross-country trek for my party. The original had 800 hit points and a MUCH higher Strength score, but it's otherwise mostly the same. I had it piloted by a verbally abusive AI who let out a resigned sigh when he had to announce its name.

Pinwheel (Asahi Hamada)

Summary: A lonely pinwheel in the middle of the field was the place where you fell in love with each other. It was the place where you had deep conversations, and dates and made plans for the future. It was supposed to be the beginning of something beautiful. But the truth looks different.

A pinwheel in the middle of the field, surrounded by the most colourful flowers in different variations. From tulips to peonies, to roses and hyacinths. It was a beautiful scenario that everyone would enjoy. Even in winter when the snow covered the bushes in snow, it was still beautiful, letting the snow shine like little crystals.

But for you, it turned into a bittersweet place. Two years ago, you met your soulmate right under this pinwheel. It was raining heavily, and you tried to find shelter underneath the pinwheel where an umbrella was stationed. However, you weren't the only one taking this path, and getting surprised by the sudden rain shower. As you arrived, he was waiting there with the black umbrella with little cherry blossoms on top of it. He looked even more beautiful than the flowers around him. You had two choices, walk back and perhaps get sick, or run towards the pinwheel and talk with him. You decided to have this conversation with him, and you did not regret it. You still wouldn’t, even though your love wasn’t as idyllic as the atmosphere you were surrounded by.

As you were standing underneath the umbrella, you were listening to the rain. No one dared to say anything at first. But you noticed him taking a glimpse at you from time to time.

As the rain continued, you took all the courage you had and smiled at him. “Hi, I am (Y/N), I always take this road to calm my mind. I have never seen you here before.” He smiled at you “I am Asahi, I have recently found this place, and it’s really great to take your mind off of things.”

It was how your love story started. A simple conversation turned into deep conversations to weekly meetings underneath the pinwheel. Week by week passed and you fell in love with his smile, his shyness, his way of thinking, and his voice. You loved everything about Asahi. But there was one problem. Even though both of you were in love, kissing each other underneath the pinwheel, saying I love you to each other every single time you meet, share things about the day you had, you could never have it away from this pinwheel.

Asahi was an idol, a popular idol that could never be seen with any woman or his career could be ruined. And as much as you would love to be with Asahi freely, you could not do it to him. He worked so hard to be where he was. He left his home at such a young age, moved into a completely different country, learned a new language, and trained hard and experienced hardships far away from his family.

And as much as Asahi would love to show the world who conquered his heart, there was no way he could let you get discovered by fans. They would make you regret it, they would hate you, hurt you. And you didn’t deserve it. This pinwheel was the start of your love, but it would also be the end.

Once again, you were sitting in front of the pinwheel, holding hands while Asahi was taking pictures from the flowers around you. You were watching Asahi and you wondered how long you could make this work. The secret meetings in front of the pinwheel. Season for season, without making any step further. Where was this relationship going, did you even have a chance?

Asahi looked over at you, meeting your eyes. He knew what you were thinking, he could read your mind. And it pained him. Was this relationship fair to you? Or should he let you go, because there might be someone who could give you something that he couldn’t?

Asahi stroked your cheek and then looked to the field, closing his eyes. You leaned your head against his shoulder, looking at your intertwined hands. “Asahi… would you be mad if… if…” you sighed.

“If you see this as our last meeting?” Asahi leaned his head against yours.

You simply nodded. “No, I wouldn’t. I would understand. I love you, very much. But I can’t give you what you deserve. You deserve someone who takes you to the beach and takes photos while you are running around. You deserve someone who takes you to your favourite restaurant or café and shows you to the world. You deserve much more than I can give you.” Asahi swallowed, feeling the tears form.

You removed your head from his shoulder and stroked his cheek. “I love you too, so much. But I just…”

“You can’t live like this anymore. Only seeing each other here at the pinwheel, and not somewhere different.” Asahi stroked your cheek where a tear was rolling down. “I understand. And as much as it pains me, I would let you go.”

You met his eyes. “I am not sure if I can move on, but even if we don’t know.” You took his hand. “Please find me, once you know, we can be free together. Please find me, and see if we have a chance. A chance that we don’t have right now, okay? Can you please promise me?”

Asahi nodded. “I promise you, once I know I can be freely together with someone. I will find you.” he grabbed your face and kissed your forehead.

You hugged him and savoured his warmth, you savoured his aftershave, and you savoured how his arms felt around you. “I love you Asahi Hamada.”

He held you close and whispered onto your shoulder, “I love you too, (Y/N). More than I could form in words.”

You looked at his eyes and stood up. He was holding your hand and didn’t want to let go. “Let faith bring us back together when the time is right.”

Asahi nodded “I will find you, my love.” He stood up and put grabbed into his pocket.

“But please, wear this, as a promise of me to find you, when the time is right.” He held up a necklace with a pinwheel on it. You chuckled and felt tears forming, so you only nodded.

Asahi took a step towards you and put the necklace around your neck. You smiled and before you could turn around, Asahi grabbed your face and kissed you. A deep passionate kiss that was speaking hundreds of words. The love he felt for you, the pain of you leaving, it was all said by this one kiss.

As you hesitantly pulled away, you slowly took steps back, his hand still holding yours, the more steps you took, the more your arms were pulled up. And as you took one last step, your hands couldn’t touch each other anymore. And that’s when you turned around and walked away from the person you loved, away from this pinwheel. Hoping that he would find you very soon.

Asahi has been an idol for so many years now, Jihoon, Jaehyuk and Junkyu have gotten married, and fans have chilled out. But he hasn’t fallen in love again ever since you walked out of his life. 

He often went to the pinwheel but noticed that no one else was going there. You sincerely have moved on. You walked away which he totally understood. Your relationship wasn’t going anywhere with the heavy feeling of angst from fans between you. But his love for you has never disappeared. He focused on being an idol, he filmed everything that the agency planned for them. But he never did find someone like Jihoon, Junkyu and Jaehyuk. Because he had found you years ago, and for him, it was you until the end of his life. 

Years had passed as he was sitting there alone at the pinwheel. He started to stop hoping that one day, you might be there. He left letters underneath a small stone, but every single time he returned the letters were still there.

It has been so many years now, that it was over 25 letters. And as Asahi saw the pile growing, he felt increasingly discouraged to ever have a chance with you. 

Until he returned to the pinwheel on a sunny day with all the flowers blooming, reminding him about how he was here with you. He had another letter in his hand, but when he wanted to put it in the pile of letters they were gone. Asahi looked around and couldn’t believe it. He wondered if you were here, or if someone else took it.

“It was probably someone else” Asahi murmured to himself. 

“It wasn’t.” A familiar voice appeared from behind the pinwheel.

Asahi’s eyes widened and his heart started to beat heavier. There was you, holding 25 letters in your hand, a tear rolling down your cheek. Asahi had to hold back to wipe it away. 

He wanted to say something but nothing came out. He was so shocked to have the chance to stand in front of you again, after over 8 years. 

He studied your face. You have aged a little, and you looked tired. He looked at your hands where you were holding the letters to see if you had found someone in your life. But there was no ring or any visual proof that you did. 

“How have you been?” Asahi broke the silence as he collected his thoughts. 

“I missed you, Asahi.” you came straight to the point. 

Asahi sat down where he always sat, looking at the flowers. “I missed you too, but I think you know if you’ve read all the letters.” Asahi smiled up. 

You chuckled and sat down next to him. “Can I read the last one?” You looked over at him, meeting his brown eyes. 

He was holding the letter towards you, and took the open ones, holding them for you while you were reading the last one. 

“Hey love, it’s been eight years now since we parted at the pinwheel. This pinwheel starts to feel painful. I am there, but you aren’t. The pinwheel got so lonely, and the flowers were not colourful anymore. With you, they seemed to look different. The sun doesn’t feel warm anymore, the sun is just there. I miss you, I miss you so much. I wish I could hold you again, marry you and be with you until we both have grey hair and complain about new wrinkles. I start to lose hope for you to see any of the letters. I want you back, but I have no idea how. My life got better, fans got less hateful. Jihoon got married this year. Junkyu and Jaehyuk got married last year. And all I thought about was how it could have been us. If we ever have the chance to meet again, I want to ask you, will you be together with me again? Will we have our happily ever after? But this will be my last letter, hoping you have found someone to live a life like this. In forever love, Asahi.” 

You wiped away a tear and looked over at Asahi who was already looking at you. “Idiot for thinking I could forget you. The years I had with you were the best! I loved running through the rain with you, but when you were gone I hated the rain because it reminded me of you. I never stopped loving you and I want you back. I want you back in my life. I want to grow old with you, and already start complaining about the grey hair and not only the wrinkles.” You chuckled as Asahi snorted. “Just ask me in person.” 

Asahi stroked your cheek and smiled lightly, that beautiful soft smile he always had when he looked at something he loved. “Will you come back to me, as my girlfriend, as my future?” 

“Yes Asahi, yes!” You said. 

Asahi put his hand on the back of your head smiling and leaning in. You looked into his eyes and put your hand on his cheek. And then after eight years of missing the warmth of his body nearby, after eight years of missing his aftershave and after eight years of missing how his lips felt, you feel them again. His kiss still took away your breath even though it had been eight years.

You kissed him back, not caring about the world. Right now bugs could fly on you, and you would not dare to stop kissing Asahi, the love you always wanted. Only because you both needed to breathe you pulled away from each other. Asahi’s eyes were still on you, smiling. 

“I love you, I always have been, and I always will,” Asahi whispered. 

“And I love you too. And I never stopped with that, and I won’t ever stop!” You responded kissing his cheek again. 

Then Asahi took your hand and pulled you up after he got up. “I want to walk with you and then walk with you to practice to meet the rest of the members, only if you want.” Asahi smiled.

You cuddled on Asahi’s arm. “I want to see the men you have spent the last eight years with and the ones that took care of you while I couldn’t.” 

He kissed your forehead and walked with you through the flowers that suddenly looked colourful again, the blue sky looked blue again, and the sun felt warm. Because he had you back, after eight years of suffering, he finally had the chance to do what he always wanted. A life with you until death parts you.

💎 if he sees that you and your group are all sitting right under the aircon, he’ll ask his members if they are alright with exchanging seats with you guys before letting you know

💎 and if you end up exchanging seats, he'll be in full smiles for the entire night

💎 because you'd be sending him little "thank you" messages constantly, and it'd make him super content

💎 whenever he turned to look at y'all and see you guys fully enjoying the night, he'd feel accomplished, glad everyone is having a good time

UNCHARTED AU GRP ROLEPLAY

What happens when the artifacts you find are as alive as you are?

EARTH FUTURO, one of the many worlds that create our multiverse, a theory that has been believed in for hundreds of years, if not longer. Your character(s) have been mysteriously transported from their original world to Earth Futuro, a world completely different to their own. Despite being in the same year, this new world looks incredibly futuristic. Aesthetically, it looks like a world your characters’ ancestors have dreamt of.

But even perfect-looking worlds have flaws.

Who was the one who discovered the Travel Case? How did these characters manage to jump between worlds?

THE ANTI-ANOMALY ASSOCIATION is filled with the smartest people in the planet, looking for worldly neighbors who have the capability, strength, and bravery to defeat their biggest enemy: The Anomalies. Creatures that defy the laws of science and nature. No one knows how they were created, or how long they’ve been roaming the Earth. It is up to the Residents to help the Voyagers (your characters) exterminate them all. Maybe then, the Voyagers can all go home . . . Maybe then, worlds can have multidimensional knowledge.
