This Crispy Prosciutto and Gouda Sandwich with Apricot Preserves by @realhomechef was SO GOOD! I really thought it’d be blahhh but the Gouda/Apricot/Prosciutto combination is so delicious! I’m beyond words. I also love that this sandwich can be made without exclusively buying the home chef box/ingredients . It can be remade with the same ingredients purchased directly from the store. • • Overall it tasted great and was super easy to put together. I would buy this again, most definitely. This Cranberry Glazed Chicken Breast With Roasted Green Beans and Wild Rice Casserole tasted great, however; I’d modify a few things. • • 1. The green beans weren’t done enough (personal preference i know, but they were sooo hard lol) so I’d cook them longer. 2. I would make the pan it comes with slightly larger. (which might also cook the green beans beans a bit more ) 3. I’d make the goat cheese a bit easier to open & spread. • • Overall it tasted great and was super easy to put together. The pan helps a ton; especially if you aren’t at home! I would buy this again, most definitely. It’s a calorie conscious, tasty meal with easy prep. This BBQ Turkey Burger with cheddar, caramelized onions and sweet potato cottage fries by @RealHomeChef is delicious! I’ve never EVER made a successful turkey burger. I know why now, this recipe taught me to finish it off in the oven. ••• ••• The sweet potatoes cottage fries were a nice side. I was surprised that i only needed one potato for two servings. The pretzel bun is a nice added bonus. The cheddar and caramelized onions give it a great taste. 🤤 ••• ••• The miso kinda gave me some heartburn so i think I’ll choose a slightly different miso next time, if i make it on my own. This Marsala Mushroom Gemali Bake with Swiss cheese by @realhomechef is delicious! It’s one of my favorite dishes that I’ve tried from them. I loveee mushrooms hut i tend to avoid them because of candida yeast buttt once in a while I’ll eat them. Especially when i make this flavorful dish. I would totally recommend it! ••• ••• The spinach, mushrooms, and marsala go well together in this dish. It’s also a vegetarian dish. I served it on the side with some chicken. Just because i need protein and the portion size is pretty small. It’s definitely delicious though! We tried this @RealHomeChef Crispy Orange Chicken with jasmine rice and broccoli. It wasn’t too hard to make. I live in a desert and it was a hot day when this arrived (from FedEx) back in the summer. Unfortunately my items shifted in transit and my chicken arrived spoiled, so i had to use my own. (Not a big deal, #HomeChef credited me.) ••• ••• Initially, I was hesitant to pick this recipe because you have to fry the chicken in batches, and who enjoys doing that? I mean it tasted well. It was just not as fun to make for that reason. I learned how to make it but i wouldn’t pick this recipe again not only because frying the chicken is time consuming but the rice is pretty bland in my humble opinion. That’s why i like these meals. This Chicken Empanada Bowl by @RealHomeChef was good and pretty delicious. The rice was a bit bland, but i learned to spice it up next time. I really enjoyed this recipe and it was pretty easy to make. It wasn’t spicy at all. I’ve never made chimichurri! It was SO good to learn how to make it from this and it was delicious too 🤤. I cooked this Italian Wedding Soup with Pork Meatballs and Parmesan that i got from @RealHomeChef. This soup was really good!
