30+ she/her wondering if anyone remembers the series Grimm? I recently started rewatching it, and I'm just as hooked as I was when it was airing! I would love to make up a plot based around a Grimm set of siblings and Wesen that they team up with and fight, in different parts of law enforcement or some type of profession. They can either be twins, or one is fairly older than the other, raised together, the eldest having to raise the youngest, or just randomly learning in some dramatic and angsty fashion they're siblings and having to deal with now while coming into their new abilities. And then obviously murder is involved and their thrust into dealing with creatures only they can see, royal families after them, or the key they have if we wanted to go that route and dealing with being something of a nightmare to Wesen but also trying to make allies as they learn more about them. Prefer to plot and discuss things over tumblr for a bit before moving to Discord to rp, prefer to rp with anyone 21+, will play a love interest as well as other characters for interactions, and any form of fairy tale or myth can be added into the plot if you'd like to reimagine any in the aesthetic of this series! 1. twin peaks inspired mumu or 1x1 plot - there’s been three murders of young women and the fbi is brought in to investigate. the town is odd and full of surprises. friendships and romance occurs. so does all sorts of soapy drama and paranormal events.   

2. shadow and bone inspired plots but it’s modern mumu or 1x1 - magic exists in this universe but it’s looked down upon if you have it. kind of would love people discovering their powers and having like a found family type dynamic together. but ohhhh an kan/ej type of plot where they’re bound due an owed debt could be interesting, too. 

3. power couple of any kind because i’m a sucker for power couples

4. sherlock holmes based plot. where they solve crimes together. only with a paranormal twist: the sherlock archetype sees ghosts and can raise the dead. 

5. sherlock holmes type plot except we write when they meet in college and when they’re older together. they could have gotten married but i’m down for like platonic soulmates between the sherlock/watson type

6. reincarnated lovers mixed with soulmate aus as plots, like any kind. bonus if we mix the soulmate au plots together for more drama.

7. anything dealing with soulmates aus djkfhdsf (think, color turns up the first time they’re touched by their soulmate, seeing their soulmates in their dreams, etc)

8. umb/rella academy inspired mumu: where two different families with different sets of adoptive siblings are taught by an instructor. she is a bit of a hardass and ends up pitting the two different families against each other. they don’t talk until they’re older and she dies. chaos ensues due to the end of the world.

9. grimm reaper & assassin fall in love

11. Rich people who are arranged to be married by their rich parents. They don’t get along but they learn to. Eventually they become the most powerful couple in their area. 

12.a plot based on the g/ood place, where they die and when they wake up they believe they’re in heaven, but they’re actually in hell and don’t know it. the two characters are actually set up as ‘soulmates’, but are really placed together to annoy the shit out of each other. (i kinda want them to be snarky, bc i love snark) 

13. a killing e/ve plot where an assassin and a cia agent play cat and mouse. they’re both kind of mutually obsessed with each other so there’s lots of chaos and sexual tension. we could headcanon a lot. have them write letters to each other in first person, and like, when they meet, write their meet-up in third person. i just like the idea of this plot A LOT

14. life and death raise a baby together. life is pessimist and kind of gloomy, while death is peppy and optimistic. they’re like head over heels in love with each other and meet often. have their own place in the underworld. a child that’s meant to be the savior of the world is placed in their hands, so they’re placed in the human world. craziness happens but it brings them together

15. a married couple where one’s an assassin and the other finds out by accident. it’s all very dramatic because their spouse sees them in a different light is scared of them. but they end up going back to them to ask questions to try and understand them.

ABOUT ME

ok, so. the basics: sam, 24, est, they/them. i’m french-canadian, so english isn’t my first language, and though i’ve been somewhat fluent at it for eight or so years, i find roleplaying a useful way to keep it strong. i’m forever changing universities and programs, and am now finally starting to study history, aka my favourite school subject of all time. roleplaying wise, i can either reply at the speed of light, or take a while, but i’ll always keep in touch and keep you up to date. plus, i’ll send headcanons and pics that remind me of our characters QUITE often. also, please don’t be put off by the number of characters in my muses tab; only 6 (maybe 7) of them are active at the moment!

hey Ryder, how was the first session of H&H? (the dnd game)

//I think this is gonna be a series … and one I’m going to have a lot of fun with//

Ryder gave a rather nervous chuckle at the setup Ryuka had put together. He had expected to play with around four or five people. Instead, a sizable number of his harem had decided to join in … possibly with Ryuka’s convincing. 

However that wasn’t what made Ryder nervous. Instead it was the large rather ornate looking table obviously from Salem’s castle, that had  1x1 foot panels that flipped up revealing the play area. Ryder made a mental note to ask where Salem had gotten this. Add all the cameras and streaming devices, and Ryder was just about set to wet himself with how nervous he was. 

“Ryuka, sweetheart…~” Ryder groaned nervously. “D-don’t you think this is a bit much…?”

“You’ll be fine~” Ryuka said soothingly, while placing her lips to Ryder’s cheek. “A lot of people here are new to the game~”

“Well … who’s our DM?” Ryder asked, before Salem walked past. 

The Grimm Queen seated herself at the head of the table, answering two of Ryder’s questions. Salem would be running this session, and yes she had played this game many times before. Especially since they were using a play table that had clearly come from her castle. 

“Is every-oh~” Salem smiled, before pulling Savanah into her arms. The young girl was clearly very interested in what was going on. “Oh, you like Mommy’s play table?~”

Savanah nodded eagerly, making Salem’s smile grow. “If you like it now, just wait~ Now everyone, please take your seats and we can begin~”

As everyone sat, Salem snapped her fingers which began their stream. “Now everyone here has created their character, and has assessed their role. But please, tell us who you are, and the name and class of your character~”

Salem gestured to Seras, indicating she should start with the introductions. 

“O-oh, well I’m Seras Victoria. And I-i’ll be playing the Half-Elf Gunslinger: Killian.”

Next in line was Yang, who brought her fists together in her signature combat stance. “I’m Yang Xiao Long, and I’m the Orc Monk: Aielister.”

“V-velvet Scarletina, I-i’m a Drow Samurai: Rain.”

“Cinder Fall, I’ll be playing the roll of the Human Necromancer: Quiet.”

Blake’s ears twitched excitedly. “I’m Blake Belladonna, I’m a Tabaxi Rogue named Kei.”

“Sun Wukong, and I’m playing a Half Orc Fighter: Drax.”

Pyrrha gently squeezed Ryder’s hand in reassurance. “I’m Pyrrha Nikos, and I’ll be playing an Amazon Paladin named Dianna~”

Ryder, feeling a small sense of relief wash over him when Pyrrha gave him that small affectionate gesture. “Well, my name is Ryder Argent, and I’ll be playing the role of an Orc Bard named Cedric The Entertainer.”

Sir Integra softly kissed Ryder’s cheek. “I knew you would pick that love~ Anyways, I am Sir Integra Fairbrook Wingates Hellsing. I will be playing the role of a Tiefling Sorcerer I’ve named Meliena.”

“I’m Lie Ren, and I’ll be playing a Human Wizard called Riddle.”

“Nora Valkyrie!~” Nora exclaimed giddily. “I’m a Dwarf Barbarian: Balrog!”

“I am Ryuka, and I’ll be playing the Dragonbon Fighter: Shor.”

la historia de Oz y Salem es triste... pero la historia tragica de dos seres que comenzaron amandose y despues luchando a morir... no me agarro eso... esperaba algo como una disputa sin cuartel de ambos hermanos!, los humanos que se revelaron a los dioses, ese aspecto tambien ha sido tomado en otras tramas... los humanos con su libre albedrio y demas bla, bla, bla... por que no 2 divinidades que realmente la armaron en grande el uno contra el otro usando sus poderes divinos!?- adonde fueron? y sus bendiciones... genial usaban magia... hasta alli... alguien noto que el "Dios de la luz" llamo a la humanidad "experimento..." que otros experimentos han hecho... pongan atencion que el resto de los planetas que se ven en las primeras escenas del vol 1x1 se ven muertos... hablando de ensayo y error--- era muy dificil algo con transfondo mas... he... divino para la trama actual en lugar de dos entes con ideologias diferentes que en el pasado eran algo asi como "almas gemelas"?- "al final los humanos siempre ganaran... no a la primera como se vio... pero regresaron-- permaneceran vivos" lo menciono por que al final se sabe que solo quedaran los humanos ganando de alguna manera y olvidandose por completo de los dioses...

mi confusion: los grimm parece que existen desde antes de los Guerreros de Ojos Plateados... por que la leyenda dice que sosn sus antesis definitiva!? fueron como los faunus? aparecieron como algo nato en este nuevo mundo?

Activity is a must obviously but as lives are a thing we all have there are no activity checks. No required stream activity. There will be a group page that you will be given a link to upon acceptance. We will do group roleplay there. If you wish to do 1x1 that is up to you and acceptable. Feel free to add it into the group that we will be using if you wish.

How will you be determined active in the group? Well the group roleplay will help determine that. Each month I will look at how recently a post was done by your character. If it has been 4+ weeks then you will be removed and your character reopened.

As there are quite a bit of characters more than one character is allowed up to a maximum of 2. If you wish to disclose that you are more than one character that is your choice. You will not be outed as another character if you wish not to be.

We are constantly adding characters so if you think of a connection that you want to add to a character don’t hesitate to reach out we will always add more connections to the characters. Also as we add characters we will constantly be adding more connections to characters that are already set.

We are adding characters from Walt Disney, Pixar, Hans Christian Anderson, The Brother’s Grimm. Sometimes we will have Grimm Fairy Tales and Hans Christian Anderson Fairy Tales with names that came from Walt Disney/Pixar so that characters have names.

genre: historical, supernatural, mystery, violence, dark, romance, based off a film (“the brothers grimm”) setting: germany time period: early 1800s  pairing: any pairing is fine. type: 1x1 status: OPEN

ii. setting

    In French-occupied Germany, many villagers believe in the powers of the unknown and supernatural. One such place is the small village of Marbaden, an unassuming community surrounded by dark and imposing woods. In the sixth months prior to where the story begins, children have been disappearing from Marbaden at an alarming rate. While most seem to disappear when no one is looking, those who are witnessed are seen walking out into the woods and disappearing into the thicket of trees. The villagers, who have an inherent belief that the woods are possessed by something otherworldly, have been too afraid to try and locate them. Those who have been brave enough to venture into the woods in search of the children have not come back. Despite the fear held by the bulk of the villagers, it is decided that the disappearances can no longer go ignored--and outside help must be found.

iii. character descriptions

Character: “A” Age: 25+ Status: Open.    A is a minor celebrity in Germany, known for their ability to solve supernatural mysteries. Together with their partner C, A has helped villages throughout Germany to be rid of their ghosts, witches, werewolves, and other assorted monsters. They are a highly praised and celebrated figure, and claim to be incredibly knowledgeable where the supernatural is concerned.     Unfortunately, the reality is that A and C are very talented con-artists. The majority of what comes out of their mouths is a lie, and more often than not they are the ones that create the very monsters that they then “save” villages from. A is specifically talented at rattling off supposed ancient curses and their cures, and has convinced an innumerable amount of people of their credentials with their silver tongue. They have exploited countless people over the years, and feel very little remorse over it. Although they are good at what they do, some authorities have started to catch on to the game they play. 

Character: “B” Age: 25+ Status: Open.    B is a villager from Marbaden. As a hunter, B is incredibly familiar with the woods--and is in fact among the very few who is able to venture into them. B believes very much in the supernatural, and is trusting of myths and legends. B believes that there is an undeniable darkness lurking in the woods, and is wary to wander too far when hunting.     When children began to go missing, B was distraught, but believed that it was not anything unusual. The woods were a dangerous place regardless of any supernatural forces at play, and children could easily die a number of ways out there. However, when girls and boys started to disappear in increasing numbers--finally including two of B’s younger siblings amongst the missing--B knew that something otherworldly was occurring, and they knew that they had to help stop it.

   Their exploits having finally caught up to them, A and C are apprehended by a French General after “killing” a “ghost” haunting a local village. Planning on simply arresting the two, the General is given pause when A appeals on behalf of the two of them--claiming that they really can solve any case. The General then tasks the partners with the village of Marbaden and their missing children. A and C are given three weeks to either find the missing children or discover the perpetrator of their disappearances. A and C arrive promptly in Marbaden, where they plan to do what they’ve always done: con the people into thinking they’ve solved the case. While A charms the villagers, C takes off into the woods with the goal of determining the setup of the con. It is not until the next morning that A realizes C has disappeared.     Reluctant to believe in the two so-called investigators who have arrived in the village and yet desperate for any kind of help, B throws their support behind A and C. When C suddenly disappears--alarming A, who does not believe in the supernatural--B pledges to help A. B believes that C has been taken by the same force that has taken all the children, and that the combined knowledge of both themselves and A will be enough to rescue them all.

Appearance

- Female horse Faunus with a long braided tail the same color as her hair, nearly reaching her ankles. The braid has numerous white, black-tipped feathers hanging from different areas of it.

- Her hair is silver-white with a long braid she has hanging over her chest from the left side of her head, and the hair on the right side of her head is unbound and covering nearly all of that side of her face. In the braid are multiple white, black-tipped feathers with a small dreamcatcher charm at the end of the braid

- Six feet and seven inches tall

- Her body is more on the petite side and fairly dainty-looking, but looks can and will be deceiving as she is insanely strong

- She has skin the color of reddish brown, bit just a bit darker

- B-cup breasts

- Almond shaped, deep magenta colored eyes

- She has very soft, pretty features with one facial piercing. She has a silver nose ring in her right nostril, which has a thin silver chain loosely extending from it connecting to the bottom of the two silver rings in her right ear.

Iridess’ Outfit

Combat: She wears a lightish-brown sleeveless combat jacket with a few pouches on each side of the zipper, which is undone to show a white cropped tank top with black tassels hanging from the top of it. She wears a pair of combat pants the same color as her jacket, and darker brown motorcycle boots. On her forearms and shins are grey wolf fur armor. Around her neck is a beaded, turqoise necklace with a pure dark silver feather pendant attached to it. At her hips are large pouches for four of her weapon’s large dust cartridges, and at her right hip in the back is a simple, large bladed hunting knife.

Casual: While she wears nearly all of her outfit all the time, she doesn’t wear her fur armor. On her right hand is multiple pieces of jewelry. Three wide leather rings and a band of silver around her hand.

Bio

- Twenty six years old

- Haven graduate. She was once named the strongest student in Haven, as well as having the nickname “Iron Maiden” due to her semblance.

- Member of team KRIS (Kriss), who consists of her partner and team leader, Ithaca Kanis, Crista Ruger, and Benelli Saiga.

- Her mother was Silver Moon and her father is Red Beretta

- She was born into a tribe of nomadic people. Her father was saved by her mother’s family, and Silver and Red fell in love, married, and Silver gave birth to Iridess a year later

- The tribe is friends with team JKDW after the team aided them in their defence and traveled with them for a time while Silver was pregnant with Iridess

- Iridess is close friends with Holly Karmine after their time in Haven, which was her first stay inside kingdom walls and first prolonged stay in civilization

- Given the nomadic nature of her tribe, Iridess learned to ride horses, sew, fight, and hunt to name a few things at a young age

- She was accepted into Haven for her fighting abilities without even attending Sanctum.

- Before Basilisk, the weapon Iridess used was a large stone greatsword.

- She has a young black war horse she calls Dark Wind, due to his running speed and the color of her coat. The tips of the stallion’s long mane and tail are dyed silver, his mane braided but his tail unbound. His breed of war horse are particularly tough, powerful, and a bit larger, not easy to bring down and they live longer than normal horse breeds.

- Each braid in Dark Wind’s mane have two feathers hanging from them, the same color as the feathers in Iridess’ own hair and tail. In the frontmost braid of Dark Wind’s mane is also a small dreamcatcher charm like the one in her hair.

- Both dreamcatcher charms are gifts from April

- Iridess keeps a simple bow and a quiver of arrows hanging off her saddle in case she needs to hunt, along with simple camping supplies on the back of her saddle

- She’s an animal and nature lover

- Iridess has grown a habit of talking to Dark Wind as if he was a close friend, even though he can’t understand her and she can’t understand him.

- She just casually speaks to any animal as well, but is met with the same result. Although, her calm nature and demeanor makes smaller animals want to hang around her.

- The necklace around her neck is an heirloom passed through her family from her mother’s side, given to her when her mother passed away when she was twelve. She is fiercely protective of the necklace and does not like it if those she doesn’t trust try to touch it.

- She also wears jewelry on her right hand. Three wide leather rings with depictions of a wolf, a horse, and an eagle on her index, middle, and ring fingers and a silver band that wraps around her hand, styled like a feather over the top of her hand. They were all handmade for her by her mother.

- She’s a very curious young woman. She likes to explore different places while riding Dark Wind.

- Loves the rain and light storms

Weapon and Semblance

Weapon: Basilisk: A large, black, shoulder-mounted minigun with three revolving barrels. The entire gun is six feet long and takes 1x1 foot, one inch wide specialized dust cartridges as it’s ammunition. It has the capability of transforming into a greatsword with silver edges she uses when enemies or Grimm get close. In it’s melee form, Basilisk’s cartridges can be used to give the edge of the blade a elemental charge for fifteen seconds, and it has four charges before the cartridge runs dry.

Semblance: Iron Maiden: Iridess can make her skin turn as hard as iron for the duration she has her semblance activated. While activated, Iridess takes no damage to her body and barely any to her aura but her movements become sluggish and slow, which balances out her roles within her team as both the heavy, unbreakable gunner and the hard hitting but vulnerable greatsword-wielding warrior. If she uses her semblance too much at once however, her movements after dropping it will take time to regain fluidity, which has gotten easier for her with time.
