❤️‍🩹Every day of the healing Journey of Grief will be different. ❤️‍🩹Some days are easier then others. ❤️‍🩹Some times the heaviness of loss can feel over powering. ❤️‍🩹Somedays you will have to force yourself out of bed. 💖Just know that every day is different. 💖You will fluctuate on what stage of grief you are at and that doesn’t mean you’re not healing. 💖Remember you are feeling the loss because you are human, and how you are feeling is normal and valid. ©𝚂𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝙻𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝 𝙴𝚍𝚞𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝟸𝟶𝟸𝟷 #shininglighteducation #griefjourney #grieving #griefsucks #giveyourselfgrace #gonebutneverforgotten #imissyou #heartbreaks #loss #gonebutneverforgotten💔 #griefdreams #healingjourney #selflove #selfcare #theraphy #counselinghelpsyougrow #healingtakestime #holistichealthcoach #holisticoaching#witchesofinstagram #witchstuff #witchhealing #witchyvibes #spiritualgrowth https://www.instagram.com/reel/CTIDRLbn9Ga/?utm_medium=tumblr

My Wife Passed Away And I Miss Her So Much
After being married, the wife becomes the closest companion of the husband. Losing a spouse isn’t so easy to accept easily. The death of the wife is undoubtedly the most shocking incident for a husband as it’s harder to believe that the person who used to cook, who used to do all the household chores, and who used to care for all is no more in this land. The bereaved husbands most often go through intense grief and many even come to the edge of ending their life. Taking drugs and so on. Grief in this regard is the most common but you shouldn’t end up your life in this way. If you’ve lost your wife then check out the grief recovery podcast which I’ve seen giving relief to many people from severe grief. I don’t have enough words to explain how sorry I am for your loss, but you shouldn’t end up your life in this way rather have the spirit of your wife in you to be like her.

here goes nothin...
I dont know, writing on sticky notes as a way to journal? whateveR. It works for me. Except for the little checkmark that keeps refreshing. haha! Thats definitely messing with me. So here I am, planning to be as authentic and me with you all as I can be. Which lucky for you, means that you can expect raw honesty with humor to mask real life pain. I am doing this mainly for me. If anyone else stumbles upon it and finds it helpful in anyway, then BONUS! I'll just put it all out there with labels for you all to try to identify with. I am a 30year old widowed single mother whom happens to be an addict. I have found recovery for a few years now. It is recovery for me. my journey back to finding myself. Which has proven to be messy. I have been far from perfect. As I write this, its 2 months before the 1year anniversary of the death of my youngest son’s father and my boyfriend of 6years. He was my person. I have been having so many dreams about him. I am in my bathroom at them moment trying to get some nicotine in, while my 2year old roams the house. Meanwhile, being very quiet I need to go make sure he isnt about to flood my home or something crazy. He isn't always up to no good. Like I sometimes think. He was just sitting quietly watching tv.          Anyways, these dreams. They make me feel him all over again. I wake up feeling alive. Feeling alive with his love again, having just been in his arms in my dreams. Its crazy how I had my first one only a couple of weeks ago. The first time he had come to me in a dream since he died. I cant even put into words how it made me feel him again. I can say that I am so very grateful for these dreams. His memories are begining to get distant and It is breaking my heart. but this has helped remind me that he is deeper than just a memory. Its the love I carry for him in my heart. Along with our baby girl Cora.

Dreams last night left me feeling sad and icky this morning. I got out of bed and hoped I could shake it off and have an okay day. I tried to switch my mood quickly to fit what I had previously planned to post on Instagram today. (Hahaha. This is why I can't plan posts ahead like some people do!) I could fake it I suppose, but then that would defeat the purpose of sharing my heart, wouldn't it? So I looked around my house and out the window for an image that matched my emotions and state of mind. My eyes came to rest on these angels. This picture shows what's left of the beautiful basket of flowers my mom and dad had made for Caety's funeral in November 2012. One angel holds a book, honoring Caety's love of literature and passion for books themselves. The other angel plays the flute, which Caety played for years until cystic fibrosis took too much of her breath. Someday I suppose I could fill the basket with flowers again. It sits on the shelf by the French doors in the kitchen where I sit at the table and write. In its current state it looks a lot like loss and longing, doesn't it? . #Caety #grievingmother #grief #grieving #grievingmom #mamagrief #childloss #lossofachild #copingwithloss #livingwithloss #cysticfibrosis #cureCF #cysticfibrosisawareness #flute #justbreathe #books #loveofbooks #bookworm #booklovers #angels #gemstones #flowers #familylove #writersofinstagram #memoir #loss #depression #dreams #griefdreams #sometimesjoy

😥Mourning is a whole ‘nother Level of Healing......⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 💖No matter what is lost, the memory still exists. I remember watching the movie Coco, which explained the land of the dead and the importance of remembering for spirits to be able to cross over into the living. When we remember it's almost as if the spirit of what once was lives on ( if you haven't seen Coco I highly recommend it)⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ❤️‍🩹This I know in my own spiritual practice to be true, and why I have an altar for my ancestors and passed on loved ones. Nothing is ever lost, only transformed. Mourning what is lost provides us on a path of remembering what was, and learning to heal and accept the impact that was made during the brief time of existence. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ❤️‍🩹Whatever you may be mourning know that talking, remembering, creating sacred space and holding space for yourself is a beautiful act of self-love as it allows you to move through grief and heal. Don't be afraid to reach out and know you're never alone💖⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I want to thank one of my favoured artists that I follow @snakes.n.roses for allowing me to use their work for this post🙏Check out their work, you won't be sorry!⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ©𝚂𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝙻𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝 𝙴𝚍𝚞𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝟸𝟶𝟸𝟷⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #shininglighteducation #griefjourney #grieving #griefsucks #grievingprocess #griefdreams #healingjourney #selflove #selfcare #theraphy #counseling #imintherapy #counselinghelps #healingtakestime #holistichealth #holisticoaching#witchesofinstagram #witchstuff #witchhealing #witchyvibes #spiritualgrowthjourney #missingyou #spiritualist #stagesofgrief https://www.instagram.com/p/CTCyVbUA-_Y/?utm_medium=tumblr

Real talk, this moment hit me hard…. ❤️‍🩹 I recall shoving my emotions down and being confused why I hadn’t just “gotten over it” as a number of people around me told I would. I remember thinking I shouldn’t continue to “burden” people with my grief when I lost my biological father. I literally was making myself super uncomfortable to make others comfortable. Which as I learned in counselling is a conditioned response to people please. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ❤️‍🩹 The only way through grief or loss is not to “move on” ASAP, but to feel and hold space for your grief and loss. Only through feeling can healing take place. Allow yourself to feel your feelings as they are completely valid. Talk with professionals if needed. Cry when you feel you need to cry. But above all, hold space for yourself. ❤️‍🩹Don’t let society convince you that you need to just shove your grief or loss under the rug and “move on”. ❤️‍🩹Your grief and loss are valid. Your feelings and what you are going through are valid. All of you my love, is valid. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ©𝚂𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝙻𝚒𝚐𝚑𝚝 𝙴𝚍𝚞𝚌𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝟸𝟶𝟸𝟷 #shininglighteducation #griefjourney #grieving #griefsucks #grievingprocess #griefdreams #healingjourney #selflove #selfcare #theraphy #counseling #imintherapy #counselinghelps #healingtakestime #holistichealth #holisticoaching#witchesofinstagram #witchstuff #witchhealing #witchyvibes #spiritualgrowth https://www.instagram.com/reel/CTAGgzMneb9/?utm_medium=tumblr
