Miserableeee~ because I’m sick!

TMI but I’m been coughing up blood and mucus - don’t panic, it’s normal for me since I cough so much and it hurts my throat so the point of bleeding - haven’t breathed in a while and I ran a high fever but I broke it :’) so meh at this moment

27. do you express love everyday?

I do! Or at least I try to! I feel that everyone should experience love throughout the day - whether it be an “hey you look good today!” To an actual “hey I love you” :)

30. what is one way you could love yourself better?

:’) not be ashamed of who I am. There’s a lot to unpack from that one sentence, but, I think that I should just learn to love myself and appreciate that I am still here and still fighting 💕

Oscar sounds so sad and dejected about Finnpoe not being boyfriends in tros...it’s even more painful knowing how supportive he is and having to see him equally hurt by Finn and Poe’s romance not being explored. Poe is his character, too, he brought the pilot to life and kept him in the story when the original plan was to kill him off. He put a lot of time and effort in over the past five years and he doesn’t get an ending that satisfies him fully, an ending that would be more fun for him (and John too probably) and that is heartbreaking :’(

ik everyone is going nuts over Oscar which is fair and definitely is something important to discuss because he is so vocal about his support and that should not be ignored, but John, being a black guy, supporting the ship is so damn important!! The black community (at least the one out here in the US, which is the primary market for this franchise) has so much outward and internalized homophobia and toxic masculinity, so John being open about not just his deep, loving friendship with Oscar, but his willingness for his character to engage in a romance with a man speaks volumes. Yes, the bar is pretty low but as a member of the black community myself and constantly being or seeing victims of these phobias, it’s really nice to see a black celebrity happily support a gay relationship for his character. John as Finn has been a wonderful treat in the Star Wars universe, and honestly his support of his character‘s potential to like men, Poe in particular, only makes his presence in Star Wars even better for me, and it was already amazingly respectable in the first place.

one plus is after the movie, my mom, who previously told me she didn’t understand finnpoe bc she didn’t really see them as liking each other in the movies, pulled me aside and said she definitely saw finnpoe as a couple in tros, and if not that then at the very least, they’re super interested in each other.
