1. Choosing the Right Size

2. Selecting a Headboard Design
The headboard is a prominent feature of the bed, contributing to its overall style. Divan grey beds offer a wide range of headboard designs to choose from, including padded, buttoned, or upholstered options. Consider the style of your bedroom and your personal preferences when selecting a headboard design that complements your decor.
3. Coordinating with Bedroom Colors
One of the advantages of a divan grey bed is its versatility in coordinating with various color schemes. Whether your bedroom walls are painted in neutral tones or vibrant shades, a divan grey bed can effortlessly blend in. To create a cohesive look, consider adding accents in complementary colors through pillows, throws, or rugs.
4. Enhancing with Accessories
To elevate the style of your divan grey bed, incorporate accessories that reflect your personal taste. Consider adding decorative cushions, a cozy throw blanket, or bedside lamps that match your bedroom's aesthetic. These accessories not only add visual interest but also enhance the comfort and functionality of your space.

One Hell of a Love (Book 2) Chapter Twelve
Sebastian Michaelis x Demon! Reader
Chapter Twelve: One Hell of a Discussion
Summary: The investigation continues as the death count mounts.
The guests sat around the tea table on divans and armchairs as they had their snack. It was quite and subdued as they finished and finally got to business.
“Well, now that I’ve had my dessert, let’s sort things out,” said Grey. “First, Lord Siemens. He died around 1:10 am today. Only Earl Phantomhive has no alibi. And then, the butler…we do not know his time of death. Next was Phelps, and he died around 2:38 am today…okay so far?”
“No,” said Arthur. “The butler’s corpse was discovered before Phelps’s, but we do not know which of the two was first to be murdered.”
            “Oh, right,” said Grey.
“Going by the state of the corpses, a few hours had elapsed from the time the two were killed,” said Arthur. “Thus, it holds true that both I and the Earl have an alibi as we were chained together till morning.”
Ciel nodded. “The Professor and I were shackled and got into bed at around 2 am. Sebastian mentioned then that he had already taken Mr. Phelps through to my bedroom. And then Mr. Phelps was murdered around 2:38 am.”
“Well, who saw Master Butler last?” said Lau.
“The two of us most likely, but the room was dark and the clock far away, so I can’t be certain of the exact time,” said Arthur.
“We saw Mr. Sebastian during the night!” said Finny, and Baldroy nodded.
            “I did too, I did!” said Mey-Rin.
            “As did I,” said (Y/N).
            “Around what time was that?”
“Around 3:00, I believe,” said (Y/N). The witching hour. How appropriate.
“That would mean Sebastian was the last to be murdered, isn’t that right?” said Baldroy.
“Why did he go to see you?” said Arthur.
“He came to take stock of the food with me and ordered Finny to clean the fireplaces,” said Baldroy.
“He discussed duties for tomorrow with me,” said (Y/N).
“And he gave me a carrier…owl? To dispatch,” said Mey-Rin.
            “An owl?” said Ciel.
“An owl, unlike a pigeon, can fly even in a storm. Shrewd as usual, that guy,” said Baldroy.
“What did the letter say?” asked Grey.
“I was not privy to its contents, no, sir,” said Mey-Rin.
“He might’ve sent that letter to the police!” said Arthur.
“Even the phone lines are out due to this storm, after all,” said Ciel.
“But if Sebastian was killed last, things get complicated, don’t they?” remarked Arthur. “The only two who could have created a locked room scenario in the Earl’s quarters were Mr. Phelps, who was within, and Sebastian, who possessed the key to said room…In that case, the theory that the culprit is Sebastian is most plausible…However….Sebastian was himself murdered.”
“So, the butler lad conspired with another, with whom he committed the murders, then was himself killed to ensure his silence after an argument over the ill-gotten gains or somesuch?” said Lau, clearing enjoying spinning tales.
“…That is possible,” said Ciel. “Then the likelihood is great of the perpetrator being one who would profit from disposing of them all.”
“Quite so, quite so!” agreed Lau. “Money makes the world go ‘round, after all!”
Woodley paused and glanced at Lau. “Mr. Phelps is the scion of the Blue Star Line, a leader in integrated maritime transport. He lacked presence, but he was capable enough to be put in charge of the trade division and had recently expanded the business into the Asian sphere. Lau. He was a competitor of yours.”
Lau smiled and sipped his tea. “Hm, I suppose he would be.”
“Furthermore, you carry around a needle in that capacious sleeve of yours, don’t you?” pointed out Ciel.
Lau smiled pleasantly. “Indeed I do! However, it is an instrument of medicine.” He pulled a long, thin needle from his sleeve.
That will certainly elicit a reaction, thought (Y/N).
The rest of the guests cried out at the sight. (Y/N) kept from grinning.
“Th-Then you killed Phelps!” shouted Woodley.
Lau shrugged innocently. “Oh my word! Don’t you think you’re being a bit rash?”
“You were snooping about the Earl’s bedchambers just now! You were destroying evidence, weren’t you?!” cried Grimsby.
“What trick are you proposing I used to make a locked room of the dressing room, which is so far in the back?” said Lau. “It has no door leading to the outside, and I hate to disappoint you, but even we Chinese cannot pass through vents. First of all, please remember I do have an alibi for the time of Lord Siemen’s murder.” He grinned. “Really, Lord Earl! You can be suuuch a bully! This is no time to be getting back at me, you know!”
Ciel deadpanned. “Should the man who suggested I be confined in the first place be saying such a thing?” He sighed and sipped his tea. “Well, even if you had conspired with Sebastian, no one could have killed all three victims. I was merely teasing you.”
            “You’re right,” said Arthur.
“What is it you mean?” asked Irene.
“If we make a simple chart of it,” explained Arthur, drawing in his notebook to show each person and who could have killed each victim. “This is what we get.” No one person had an opportunity to kill all three. “Only Earl Phantomhive could have murdered Lord Siemens around 1:10 am. Only Sebastian could have murdered Mr. Phelps around 2:38 am. Finally, anyone but the Earl and I could have murdered Sebastian around 3:00 am. Thus, even if the culprit had Sebastian for an accomplice, it is still impossible for one person to have murdered all of the victims!”
“If one person couldn’t have done it, then the guests who came to the party as a pair must be the guilty ones!” cried Woodley, glaring at Irene and Grimsby.
“Sod that!” shouted Grimsby. “It isn’t bad enough hat we’re locked up in this godforsaken place, but now you have the gall to treat us like common criminals?!”
“Grimsby, calm down!” pleased Irene, holding onto him.
“Yes, please, do calm down, gentlemen!” said Arthur.
I can see why Ciel likes this one. He is sensible with an intelligent mind, thought (Y/N).
“Besides,” continued Arthur. “This isn’t so simple a case as to be solved by the mere fact that two people would have been able to commit the cri—.”
“Simple or not, I couldn’t care less!” cried Woodley angrily. “I’m sick of this! I can’t bear to be here any longer!”
“And where is it you intend to go, sir?” said Ciel calmly. “Under these circumstances, I would be grateful if you would refrain from taking liberties.”
“How dare you accusing me of taking liberties?!” shouted Woodley. “When all of these horrors are all your—!”
“All my what?” Ciel’s tone was deceptively casual.
Woodley paused, eyes widening in panicked anger. “I—! I know what you’re up to! Truth is, you’re the mastermind behind all of this, aren’t you?!”
Ciel scoffed and smirked at the suggestion (though (Y/N) knew he definitely brought this group together for a reason). “I am afraid I do not know to what it is you are referring, but please do compose yourself.”
“You called us here with the intention of putting an end to us all along!” cried Woodley. “You dog of the Queen! I’ll have you let me go now! Who in their right mind would stay here like a lamb to the slaughter?!”
“Please wait!” said Arthur. “To leave in this storm would be folly! Staying here as a group would be best toa void risking suspicion as well—.”
Woodley struck Arthur, and he fell to the floor. “I will not be dictated to by some medical quack!”
“Woodley.” Ciel’s deadly calm voice pierced the tension. “I am telling you to sit. So sit down. Now.”
“How dare you tell me what to do!” Woodley lunged for Ciel.
            “My Lord!” cried Arthur.
(Y/N) slammed Woodley to the ground. The guests’ eyes widened, and Ciel didn’t flinch. (Y/N) braced Woodley on the ground, pinning him down. His arm lay over their knee, and if (Y/N) pressed their arm down farther, it would snap. Woodley attempted to move, but (Y/N)’s demonic strength kept him down.
“Apologies for your discomfort.” (Y/N) wasn’t sorry at all. “However, Mr. Woodley, in this manor, anyone who seeks to harm the Young Master, no matter their station, shall be dealt with and shown no mercy.” They smiled falsely at Woodley below them. “I’m sure you understand.”
“What is wrong with this cursed house?!” growled Woodley. “Damn you!”
“Wh-What in the world did they just do? I never even saw them move,” said Arthur in surprise.
“The maid and butler of this household have always been quite skilled,” said Lau, smiling.
“(Y/N),” said Ciel. “That will do.” (Y/N) squeezed Woodley’s arm in warning before allowing him to stand. “Well, then.” Ciel put his teacup down. “As things currently stand, the Professor is the only one among us who, without a doubt, cannot be the culprit. Thus, I believe the safest and fairest option is to have the professor decide on how we should proceed.”
            “M-Me?” said Arthur.
“Yes,” said Ciel. “For my part, I’ve no desire to leave the perpetrators endlessly wandering about my manor.”
“N-No. Well, I can’t say I’m not of the same mind on that account, but…” Arthur trailed off nervously.
“Of course the same goes for us,” said Irene.
“That settles it, then,” said Ciel. “We have nothing but time until the storm lets up anyhow. So what do you say we hunt down and corner the culprits at our leisure? Hm, Professor?”
Ah. Ciel’s getting his entertainment, now, thought (Y/N).
Arthur straightened before sitting down again. “Alright. Alright. Hearing your sides of the story has made everything much clearer, but what concerns me the most is the whereabouts of the key to the Earl’s quarters. As it stands, only Sebastian, who was in possession of the key, could have killed Mr. Phelps, but if the key had passed into the hands of another, that would change matters.”
“But now that Sebastian has been killed, can it not be said that if anyone does have the key, that person is the culprit?” said Ciel.
            “Quite,” said Arthur.
“Then we first have to check whether or not the butler has the key,” said Grey. “If he does have it, consider that theory squashed.”
“You’re right,” said Arthur. “To that point, I think it best that we always conduct ourselves in groups from no won. I do not wish to have a lady accompany us to the makeshift morgue, so…Miss Irene and Mr. Grimsby, if you would please remain here.”
“Alright,” said Irene, leaning closer to Grimsby.
“And…Mr. Woodley as well…” admitted Arthur nervously.
            “Hmph,” Woodley huffed.
“I’ll be fine staying here, enjoying some tea with Ran-Mao,” said Lau.
“I’ve nothing to do here, so I’ll come with!” said Grey.
“Earl Phantomhive, I do hate to impose, but would you take us around the manor?” said Arthur.
“Very well,” said Ciel. “As the servants are more familiar with the manor below stairs, let’s have them lead the way. Alright?”
“Yes, Young Master,” said (Y/N), and Baldroy and Finny nodded.
“Tanaka, Mey-Rin, stay here and see to our guests,” said Ciel.
“Yes, sir,” said Tanaka and Mey-Rin.
“Let’s be off, then,” said Ciel.
l
“In this setting, I half expect a guest or the like to pop out at any moment,” said Arthur as they walked down the stairs to the cellar.
“Hey! Cut that out!” cried Grey dramatically. “There’s no such thing as ghosts! ‘Cos I only believe in what I can cut down with my sword!”
“Then can you try your hand at walking without clinging on to me?” huffed Ciel.
Grey squeaked. “I figured you might be scared, so I was only taking the trouble of comforting you!” His voice shook with every word, and (Y/N) smirked.
“Gentlemen, we’re here,” said (Y/N), opening the door to the cellar. Three bodies lay under cloths before them.
“When handlin’ the corpses, please use these gloves, if ya would,” said Baldroy, handing gloves to Arthur.
“Good thinking, thank you,” he said. He cleared his throat. “Then if I may beg your pardon, Sebastian….” He pulled the cloth back and gasped. “He’s wet?!”
Poor Sebastian had to go out in all this rain, thought (Y/N). Ciel really does drive him hard.
“I’ll bet it’s from the rain leakin’ in through the roof,” said Baldroy.
“Poor Mr. Sebastian! C’mon, let’s move in!” said Finny urgently.
“Yes, let’s,” said Arthur. “The water will hasten decay, after all.
            “Decay…” Finny trembled.
“Not to mention undressing him in order to investigate further will be quite troublesome since rigor mortis has set in,” said Arthur.
Undressing…? (Y/N) felt the slightest dusting of pink color their cheeks. They had not anticipated stripping Sebastian. That would mean they would see him with much less clothes. (Y/N) wasn’t against it.
Arthur continued. “So let’s first turn him over and—”
“Stop it!” cried Finny, distressed. “Please don’t treat Mr. Sebastian like a thing!” he pushed Arthur back. “Mr. Sebastian is our dear—!”
“Finny,” said Ciel sternly. “If you’re going to carry on like this, get out. You’re in the way.” He turned back to Arthur. “We can move him later. The key comes first.” The group of men stripped the body and examined everything.
“It doesn’t seem to be on his albert chain,” said Arthur.
“Did he maybe wear it ‘round his neck?” asked Finny, trying to be helpful while still gazing mournfully at the corpse.
“Let’s see,” said Arthur. He shook his head. “It’s not there either. Would it not perhaps make sense for it to be in his private room?”
“I can take you to it,” said (Y/N).
            “Yes, let’s,” said Ciel.
l
“This is Sebastian’s room,” said (Y/N), opening the door to the bare bedchambers (having barely been used, of course. They and Sebastian had no need for them).
“It’s fairly large, isn’t it?” said Arthur.
“He was an upper servant, like (Y/N),” said Baldroy.
“Do you have any idea where he might hide a key, (Y/N)?” said Ciel.
(Y/N) shook their head. “No. And even if I did, he’d likely intentionally place it somewhere else to ensure total secrecy.”
“That sounds like him,” said Ciel.
“Let’s just start with all the places that look like they’d be good for hiding valuables,” said Grey.
Together, the group went through the chest of drawers, bedding, fireplace, and desk in Sebastian’s sparse room. Ciel then headed to the wardrobe. He opened the doors and let out an exclamation of surprise as several things leapt out at him.
Cats. There were six cats happily hidden in the wardrobe.
“Cats?!” cried the group, (Y/N) included.
“Unbelievable,” said (Y/N). “Of course that’s the personal touch to his room.” However, (Y/N) was tempted to smile. After all, it was Sebastian loving their motif once more, and besides, (Y/N) now had several cats swarming them and purring. They knelt and pet the cats, who eagerly pushed closer to the cat demon.
“Aww, what a cute kitty!” said Finny, happily picking up a cat.
“That swinge!” cried Ciel. “He hid it from me and kept them anyway!” He sniffled as the cat hair drifted around him. “Don’t let a single one out of this room! Can’t…ha…” He sneezed.
            “Young Master!” said Finny.
“Finny! Don’t get close to me with that thing in your arms! My allergies—!” Ciel sneezed again.
“I suppose it’s time to retreat from this room, then. We haven’t found anything personal here,” said Grey.
Ciel eagerly led them to the corridor to speak.
“Stay in the wardrobe, sweethearts,” said (Y/N) to the cats, scratching them underneath the chin. They winked and put a finger to their lips. “Don’t tell anyone, but Sebastian will be back to take care of your soon,” they whispered conspiratorially. Then they followed Ciel into the hall.
“You’d think it would’ve been nice for him to have a few mementos from home in there,” said Grey, glancing at the door to Sebastian’s room, shut once more.
I don’t think you would want us to bring items from Hell, thought (Y/N) in amusement.
“From where did he come to join the service?” asked Grey.
“Dunno,” said Baldroy. “None of the staff knew where he was from or what he did on his days off. All we knew was that he was a perfect butler, who was ridiculously capable of doing his job.”
“Maybe the Young Master could tell you more,” said Finny.
“I haven’t a clue either,” said Ciel. “From whence he hailed, what kind of master he served previously, and what he did for said master were of no interest to me. I couldn’t have cared less about such things. At that time, anyone would have done. So long as they were loyal to none but me and did as I wish. Anyone at all.”
“At that time?” Grey raised an eyebrow.
Ciel ignored Grey and waved a hand. “Besides, (Y/N) is the one who has actually known Sebastian the longest.”
“Oh, that makes sense, then,” said Baldroy. “I wondered why he seemed to trust you the most. Makes sense if you’ve worked together before.”
(Y/N) smiled and nodded. “We have.”
“Aha, then do you know anything about his past?” said Grey curiously.
(Y/N) smiled at Grey. “I met him when he was already as he is now and I was just learning to serve.” Serve as a demon.
“So you have nothing more than we do,” said Ciel. He didn’t believe that for a second—it was clear (Y/N) and Sebastian understood each other in ways humans couldn’t—but he’d let it go. It wasn’t that important.
“Well, then, the key’s not in there,” said Arthur, redirecting the focus to the case.
“Then does that just leave us with checking everyone’s belongings?” said Grey.
Arthur shifted nervously. “Won’t everyone be outright against that idea? Especially the likes of Mr. Woodley…”
“My public authority exceeds that of the Yard, so we can simply force them to show us if they refuse!” chirped Grey. “C’mon, off we go, off we go!”

Writemas Day 10
Thanks @agirlandherquill for the prompts and sorry for the spam!
Prompt: He could do no more than smile, even when he wanted to cry, even when he wanted to curse the world to pieces. He smiled.
~
Ellis had learnt long ago, learnt the hard way, that no one was interested in how he really felt. He existed as an idea, a concept, a rumour. A reputation. And that reputation, that idea, did not have bad days. It did not care when people were cruel, or thoughtless, or when the world weighed heavy on him. They just wanted him to be charming, and pretty, and bright. They just wanted him to smile.
The bar was crowded and noisy to the point of discomfort, the music pounding against his eardrums like a physical attack. Ellis was tired. It had been a long flight in, and a longer trip through the docks' over eager security protocols. He could have slipped in under the radar with a well timed hack, but it hadn't seemed worth the effort. Regrets, regrets.
As much as he longed for his bed, Ellis had a meeting to attend, and so here he was, being assaulted by the blaring music and the writhing bodies. It had seemed a much better proposition when he had been feeling less belligerent.
He wove through the crowds towards the private rooms at the back of the bar, grimacing as sweaty, hot bodies pressed against him like unwanted caresses, crawling damply across his skin. When he was in the mood, he loved places like this, loved to lose himself in music too loud to think, to feel, to give over consciousness to his body and body alone. To be absorbed into the crowd. To be consumed. But tonight he was tired, and annoyed, and the sweat gathering at his temples and the damp stickiness of his skin was nothing more than another inconvenience to be tolerated. Ellis wanted to shower and sleep.
The security guard outside the room gave him a stern look beneath the flashing, iridescent lights that pulsed like blood flow to the heartbeat of the bar. Ellis fixed his smirk across his mouth and spread his hands, letting the dim lighting sparkle across the rings on his fingers, the glitter shimmering on his dark brown skin. The guard scanned him once with the device in his hand, then jerked his head and pressed to open the door.
Ellis stepped through to find his quarry lounging across a large divan, a glass of wine dangling from his thick, sausage-like fingers. The light in here wasn't much better than outside, though at least it was still. It make Franklin look sallow. Ellis smirked as he slouched into the lounge beside him, spreading his sparkling purple skirt gracefully around him as he did so.
"Evening, darling," he purred, letting muscle memory take control of his features. His smile felt stiff across his face, but he knew it wouldn't read that way. He'd had a lot of practice.
"Ellis Grey, as I live and breathe," Franklin said, leaning forward and grasping his hand. It was clammy. Ellis lifting it to his lips despite his disgust and pressed a gentle kiss to the back of his knuckles.
"The one and only," he agreed. "And I hear you're in need of a pilot," he added, all too keen to get out of here. Franklin lifted a brow, his black eyes watching Ellis over the lip of his glass.
"In a hurry, Grey?" he asked. "Have a drink, relax! Surely someone like you has nowhere else to be tonight?" he asked with a smirk. Someone like you. It was a common enough comment. Ellis had heard it a thousand times. Tonight, it stung.
"You'd be surprised, mate. Ships don't fly themselves, no?" he shrugged, letting a soft smile play across his lips, "And upgrades don't pay for themselves, either."
"Perhaps you need to settle down. Take up a less hectic lifestyle," Franklin suggested, tilting the glass of wine towards him. "I'm sure I could find something to do with you planetside. Something you'd be good at," he said. His eyes crawled over Ellis' skin like a physical touch. His flesh crawled like there were spiders beneath his skin. Did he know? Had he somehow found out about Ellis' past, and that was why he was making these insinuations? Or was there something intangible about him, about his very makeup, that made people see him as something to be bought and sold. He smile, though his mouth tasted like blood.
"No thanks, darling. Perfectly happy where I am. But I am a busy man. So let's get to business, shall we?" he said coolly. Franklin gave him a long, considering look, but finally inclined his head, and turned the conversation to business. Ellis smiled, a smirked, and flirted, and ignored the burning pit chewing through his heart.

Our Dear Doctor- Julian x Lucio x Reader
Tumblr media
Rating: 18+ (MINORS DNI)
TW: Light bondage, riding crops
Fandom: The Arcana
Relationship: Julian Devorak x Lucio Morgasson x Apprentice
Summary: Julian has been working so hard at his clinic lately. You and Lucio decide to treat him to a night of decadence.
Read here in this post or over on my AO3
“Tea, my darling?” Julian’s voice sounds from above you, husky from the early hour. You look up from where you lounge on the divan by the window, squinting as the pink light of the sunrise falls across your gaze. His curly hair is disheveled from slumber and his loose shirt hangs open in the front, exposing his rugged chest.
“Yes, thank you,” you return, beaming softly up at him. He hands you a delicate white mug, warning you to be careful of how hot it is, before he nestles himself in the space between you and the edge of the sofa, his own cup of tea in hand. There's hardly room for both of you on the narrow seat, but you don’t mind, giggling as Julian tries to make himself comfortable, his gangly legs hanging off the end and long arms scrunched up on either side of him. When he finally settles down, you lay your head against his shoulder, closing your eyes and basking in the bliss of this quiet morning.
Lucio still slumbers in your bed, just feet away, so you try to keep as quiet as possible, though it's difficult. For what feels like the first time in a while, Julian is actually taking the day off, much to your unending delight. He’d announced it quietly to you this morning, when your eyes fluttered open to the sight of his handsome face beaming softly at you in bed. He’d drawn you close, tenderly pressing his lips to yours, before whispering that he was all yours for the day. You can barely contain your excitement.
You’ve missed him terribly, as of late. Normally, Julian comes home from work, maybe finishes up a bit of paperwork in the study adjoining your bedroom, and then you all have dinner together. But in the last month or so, you and Lucio have barely seen him. This isn’t typical (there’s been some sort of mild influenza going around that's keeping his waiting room full), but you can tell it's running Julian ragged. You’ve been begging him to take a day off, have another physician cover for him just for a little bit. Not only do you and Lucio miss him, but he really needs the rest. It seems that finally he's taking your advice.
“We missed you last night,” you murmur, looking lovingly over into Julian’s grey eyes. Another radiant smile from him. His joy is always so bright, warm like the sun and utterly soul-penetrating. You can’t help but beam back at him.
“Not as much as I missed you,” he admits quietly before peppering your face with kisses. Together, you silently watch the sunrise, sipping your tea and cuddling close, Lucio snoring softly in the background. You're so grateful for mornings like this. Between Julian’s time at the clinic, Lucio’s various meetings, and your own work at the shop, you’ve hardly had time for yourselves. These peaceful, uneventful days are just what you've wanted.
“So, what sorts of trouble are we going to get into today?” Julian ventures with a wink, “Drinks at the Rowdy Raven? Dancing on tables? You know, there’s this lovely secluded beach not far from here that nobody really knows about. I bet we could pop on over, ‘forget’ our bathing suits, and take a dip in the moonlight-”
Little does Julian know that over the last few weeks, you and Lucio have been plotting all kinds of things you could do with your dearest doctor, were he to take a day off. Most of the activities are naughty in nature, some of which you and Lucio have even “tested” in your boredom. But you also have some ideas of a few quieter activities you want to partake in, all of which Lucio has suggestions to make a bit more “exciting.”
You’d been hoping to perhaps enjoy a picnic by the fountain (Picnic? More like a sensuous romp in the gardens, Lucio had suggested with devilish glee), a warm and relaxing bath in the evening (There won’t be anything relaxing about this bath, Lucio had added with a suggestive eyebrow waggle), and fall asleep to the sound of Julian practicing the vielle (But only after we play our dear doctor like a vielle, Lucio joked to which you could only roll your eyes at because of how ridiculous that sounded). Julian plays so beautifully, but so rarely does he have time to serenade you. You look forward to his days off, when he plays late into the night, standing on the balcony, staring up at the moon.
However, the prospect of all these activities turning risque is certainly appealing to you. You blush, debating on whether you want to tell Julian now about what you and Lucio have come up with, or if you should wait for Lucio to actually be awake for that.
“Well, about that-” you begin, feeling heat rising to your cheeks, when suddenly you're interrupted.
“Was our little dove telling you about the naughty machinations she and I have been scheming up these past few weeks without you, Jules?” Lucio purrs from the bed, stretching out under the sheets. You hadn’t even noticed his snoring had ceased. His sharp eyes, half-hidden under his tousle of blonde hair, meet yours as he cracks a wicked smile.
“Oh? Is that so?” Julian returns, quirking an eyebrow up and grinning mischievously. You blush an even deeper shade of red, thoroughly embarrassed by Lucio’s crassness. You open your mouth to try to explain, but are left speechless by your mortification. Luckily, Lucio hadn’t actually intended for you to be the one to inform, for a moment later, he rises from the bed, crosses over to the chair you and Julian are lounging on, and roughly captures your lips in his. When he pulls back, you see the impish glint in his eyes as he turns his attention to Julian, kissing him just as feverishly as he did you.
“What on earth have you two concocted?” Julian chuckles, a bit breathless once Lucio finally lets him go.
“Oh, my dear Doctor Devorak,” Lucio begins, raising himself from your chair and flopping down on the lounge he’d cast his furs upon last night, “What didn’t we concoct? We even tested a few of our ideas. I’ll tell you the whole thing, and by the end of it, you’ll be sorry you missed it all. And no doubt impatient to get started with our plans.”
Lucio begin recounting your shenanigans over the last few weeks, leaving out absolutely no details, much to your chagrin. Meanwhile, Julian’s cheeks flush redder and redder, lips pursed and body rigid as the former-count regales him with your escapades. But as Lucio’s story comes to a close, Julian’s flabbergasted look shifts to one of roguish glee.
“I am indeed sorry I wasn’t here for all of that,” Julian admits by the end of Lucio’s tale, shooting you a look out of the corner of his eye, which you can only meet with a blush.
“But I’m most certainly looking forward to what you have in store for us today,” Julian confesses, tenderly brushing some stray strands of hair out of your face.
“Oh, I’m sure you are,” Lucio snickers from where he reclines, his pale eyes glinting in the morning sun. Just as Julian opens his mouth to say something else, there's a sharp knock at the door.
“Ughhh, who could possibly need anything at this hour?” Lucio grumbles, swiftly rising from his seat and crossing the room. He doesn't even bother to slip into a robe or anything, unabashed in his (quite limited) underclothes. He throws the door open with a huff, scowling at the poor messenger on the other side. You hear them exchange a few words with one another, Lucio looking thoroughly vexed and the messenger trying so very hard to avert his gaze from the barely clothed man before him.
“Julesy, it’s for you,” Lucio groans dramatically after a moment, rolling his eyes and abandoning the messenger at the door. You feel Julian tense at your side, both because he's no doubt worried he's about to be called into work and also because he hates when Lucio uses that nickname.
“What is it?” Julian finally speaks, brows furrowed in confusion as he slips awkwardly off the divan, his long limbs flailing as he struggles to not tumble onto the ground.
“Clinic stuff that I’m not even going to pretend to understand,” Lucio admits with fake exasperation as they pass one another, melodrama dripping from every word that falls from his thin lips. As Julian speaks to the man at the door, Lucio sneaks in and steals the spot that has opened up by your side. He throws an arm around you and draws you close, practically crushing you against him. The two of you watch as Julian and the messenger have a hushed back-and-forth. After a few moments, the messenger scurries off and Julian shuts the door again. When he turns back towards the two of you, he looks utterly defeated.
“What’s wrong, my love?” you offer, escaping Lucio’s grip on you for just enough time to set your empty tea cup on the ground.
“I’ve got to go into the clinic today,” Julian explains woefully, slipping into his overcoat, “The physician I had covering for me had to leave unexpectedly.”
Your heart sinks. There goes your plans for a relaxing day for all three of you.
“Do you have to go?” Lucio pouts, to which Julian gives a small, rueful smile. He trades kisses and gives you and Lucio his sincerest apologies, before quickly dashing off to save the day. Your plan to relax with your partners has been thwarted. You and Lucio sit in a disappointed silence for a while, until it's broken by a snicker from the man at your side.
“You know what I think?” Lucio ventures, a devilish glint in his eye.
“What’s that?” you implore, suspicious of his look.
“I think,” he begins, leaning in close, “I think our dear doctor has worked quite hard lately. Perhaps we can just combine a few activities into one this evening. What do you say?”
You beam, catching his drift, “I say that sounds perfect.”
***
Julian’s face is utterly priceless when he walks into the study that evening. The look of sheer mystification and sheepishness that strikes his angular face is worth all of the effort you and Lucio put into your surprise. All day, you’ve been working on enacting your “brilliant scheme” (Lucio’s words, not yours), running up and down the palace corridors and making trips to the market when necessary. You were in charge of preparing the study that adjoins your bedroom, laying out blankets and furs, scattering rose petals and creating mood-lighting (via artfully placed candles and little stars you conjure up with some illusory magic). Meanwhile, Lucio’s job had been to procure the finest of champagnes and all of yours’ and Julian’s favorite foods. Along with the catering, Lucio went out of his way to obtain various after-dinner “treats” and toys, should you decide to participate in such dalliances.
As the time approaches for Julian to return home, you and Lucio steal away to the study, making sure you've made it perfectly clear to the palace staff that you are not to be disturbed this evening. A fair amount of giddy twittering and giggles fill the study as you (patiently) and Lucio (not so patiently) await Julian’s entrance. You try to hush Lucio when you hear the familiar creak of your bedroom door opening. Julian’s voice calls quizzically out for the two of you and you can imagine his perplexed countenance, one brow raised in confusion, mouth ever so slightly agape. Lucio opens his own mouth to say something in return, but you slip a hand over his lips to quiet him, wanting Julian to make the discovery without any aid.
The brass door handle to the study turns with a squeak and in wanders your dashing physician, weary-eyed and exhausted. Until he catches a glimpse of you and Lucio, lounging in front of the fireplace, wearing nothing but matching silk robes and impish smirks. It takes him a moment to process what's happening. You can practically hear the gears turning in his brain.
“What’s all this?” Julian finally speaks, cracking a bright smile.
“We figured you could use a little pampering,” you return, matching his grin with one equally as ecstatic. You're startled by a loud pop, but quickly realize it's just Lucio opening a bottle of champagne.
“Care for some bubbly, our dear, hard working doctor?” he croons, already filling three crystal champagne flutes with the sparkling, golden liquid. Meanwhile, Julian shrugs off his overcoat and leaves his boots at the door. He settles in on the ground between you and Lucio, taking a glass of champagne, the crystal twinkling in the light of the fire beside you.
“Cheers!” you exclaim, clinking your glass against the other two, “To an evening where we are finally all together.” You bring the thin crystal to your lips, the pleasant fizzing of bubbles against your tongue an absolute delight.
“I’m sorry I ruined your plans for the day,” Julian apologizes, his gray eyes melancholy and lips set in a tragic little pout.
“Duty calls, Jules,” Lucio returns, waving his hand in dismissal as he takes a swig of champagne, “We understand. Plus, we figured we could just combine a few things into one and make a night out of it.”
“Besides, you’re here now! And that’s all that matters,” you add, pressing your lips gently against Julian’s. Lucio clears his throat, rising from his seat with a flourish and a wide grin.
“Now the real question for tonight, my precious doctor,” he begins, eyes glinting wildly in the firelight, “Would you care for dinner first,” he gestures to the array of food set out on the mahogany desk at the opposite end of the room, “Or dessert?” Lucio then points to the various ropes, riding crops, lingerie, and things of that ilk he’s laid out on the leather sofa nearby. Julian’s eyes light up at the sight of both dinner and dessert, but fixates particularly on the items displayed on the sofa.
“I think,” he starts slowly, glancing mischievously between the two of you, “I’ll pick dessert first.” He leans in close, face just centimeters from yours, warm breath fanning gently across your lips. “I’d like to participate in some of the activities you two so painstakingly tested in my absence.”
“An excellent choice,” Lucio purrs just as Julian captures your lips with his. His velvety kisses taste opulent, a whisper of the champagne you share still lingering in his mouth. His tongue parts your pliant lips, searching and familiar. You run a hand along Julian’s chest, feeling the tickle of his hair under your fingertips as you make your way down to pull the hem of his shirt out of his trousers.
You're made suddenly aware of Lucio behind you, pressed up close, tugging at the belt of your robe. You let him yank it off you, cast the silk away as if he's offended by the fact that it hides your body from him. He’s long since abandoned his robe, his skin warm against yours as he draws ever closer to you, lips passionately marking your neck. You feel the sign of his arousal press against your thigh.
Julian draws back from your lips, impatiently doing away with all of his clothing, watching in awe as Lucio pulls you into his own lap and continues to nip at the tender flesh of your neck. You observe in equal wonderment as Julian slips out of his trousers, his erection springing free, curving slightly upwards. He looks magnificent, his slender body silhouetted against the firelight, auburn-ringlets falling softly in front of his eyes. He heaves a shallow breath at the sound of your small gasp when Lucio tweaks one of your nipples.
“Isn’t she exquisite, Julian?” Lucio speaks, his voice husky and low in your ear. You hadn’t even noticed his other hand snaking around to your front, until the soft pad of his fingertip is circling your clit in slow, rhythmic rotations. You let out a breathy sigh, to which Lucio chuckles.
“Come on, Julian. We’ve been waiting so patiently for you. Tell us how you want us to cherish you tonight,” Lucio commands.
“Mmm,” you mumble, leaning your cheek against Lucio’s, “Whatever you want, Julian. We’re all yours.”
You barely manage to get that out as Julian, not needing any instruction to ravish you, dives down to smash his lips against yours. His movements are desperate now, large hands roving rapaciously over your curves as if he can’t touch you enough. His elegant fingers dance across your skin, sending shivers up your spine, your nerve endings alight with pleasure. When Julian reaches your breasts, he kneads them gently, cupping and massaging with his masterful touch.
As Lucio tickles the sensitive spot behind your ear with his lips, Julian lays sloppy kisses down your jawline, trailing along the side of your neck that Lucio hasn’t already claimed, and along your collarbone. All the while, he whispers words of praise and affection.
“You are both wholly exquisite, my darlings,” he breathes, circling a thumb around one of your nipples, “Use me however you want tonight. Just please- take me.”
“Gladly,” Lucio growls, slipping out from behind you and grasping at the length of red rope coiled up on the couch. His pale eyes shimmer in the cozy light as he artfully binds Julian in the crimson cord, all the while ghosting his lips along Julian’s shoulders. While Lucio is busy binding your auburn-haired rogue, you occupy yourself with Julian’s cock, licking a long, slow stripe up his shaft. You lay yourself before Julian’s kneeling form, digging your fingernails into his ass as you take him in your mouth. He moans shamelessly as you swirl your tongue around his tip, his face flushed and eyes dusky with lust.
Julian tries his best not to buck his hips eagerly into you, but you can tell he's struggling to stay still while your mouth works his length. His legs are practically shaking in anticipation and pleasure. Not to worry though, for Lucio tightly grasps Julian’s hips to steady them, talons of his right arm stabbing into his tender flesh. Luckily it doesn’t draw any blood, but it does elicit a pathetic, sultry whine from Julian.
“Oh, my dear, eager doctor,” Lucio drawls, trailing his tongue along the shell of Julian’s ear and lightly tugging on the cord wrapped around his torso and arms, “Whatever are we going to do with you tonight? Any ideas, y/n?” Your release of Julian’s cock is painfully slow, all so you can watch his face twist with pleasure.
“I have a few,” you hum before covetously swallowing one of Julian’s gasps. You slip a tongue past his parted lips, tasting the sweet tartness of champagne again. You only linger there for a moment before pushing Julian back onto the furs beneath you. You feel intoxicated; not by the alcohol, but by the dizzying, carnal rapture both Lucio and Julian elicit in you.
“Hmmm, such a greedy boy, don’t you think, Lucio? Wanting dessert before dinner?” you tease, hovering over Julian’s chest, legs on either side of him.
“Oh, I’m so very greedy. The greediest, really,” Julian pants with a roguish smirk. His eyes rove along your body, drinking in the sight of your breasts heaving above him, your breath labored with arousal.
“Especially after I went to all that trouble finding everything he likes to eat. Well, I think a greedy boy like him deserves a bit of punishment,” Lucio concludes, settling himself between Julian’s legs, eyes glittering fiendishly, “But maybe after we give him a bit of something- sweet.” Lucio’s words confirm to you that you are on the same page. Julian squirms beneath you, wanting desperately to touch you, but unable to, given that his hands are bound behind him.
“I promise I’ll be a good boy. Just- just let me taste you,” he mewls. You look down at him, his gaze imploring as he bites his lip, cheeks as red as the rope that restricts him. That's it for you. That lip bite of his just does things for you, slickens your folds like nothing else does. In seconds, you're hovering over Julian’s mouth, his tongue lapping eagerly along your wet heat, sending delightful shivers up and down your spine. Meanwhile, Lucio attends to Julian’s cock. You look back briefly to see his blonde head bobbing up and down Julian’s member, arms wrapped tightly around the doctor’s legs to keep them in place.
Julian hums pleasantly against you, his velvety voice practically reverberating through your body. You become a mouthpiece for him, speaking and moaning since he can’t, too busy with drinking you in. His warm tongue circles your clit and you can feel the spring in your core growing taut, legs quivering on either side of Julian’s dashing face. His eyes are closed in satisfaction, but occasionally scrunch up (rather adorably) when Lucio digs his gilded claws a little deeper into Julian’s thigh.
Julian’s tongue skillfully swipes along your folds, teasing your entrance and diving in as far as it can. You aren’t going to last long if he keeps up this way. As if sensing this, Lucio pulls back from his ministrations and tenderly places a hand on your back to tell you to withdraw. He wipes away some spit from his mouth with the back of his other hand and crawls up beside you, like a lion stalking his prey, before flopping down next to Julian.
“I think he’s had enough sweets for tonight,” Lucio sneers, eyes flashing wickedly as he props himself up on his elbow, “It’s high-time he received his punishment.” You give a low, devious chuckle as you raise yourself from Julian, who whines softly at the loss of your warmth against his face. His thin lips glisten with your arousal and his gray eyes are dark with lust. Lucio instructs you to unbind only Julian’s hands and lie down.
“Julian,” Lucio starts slowly, lifting himself off the ground to retrieve something from the couch. He eyes the objects there with some scrutiny, before settling on a simple black riding crop.
“y/n, do you want Julian to fuck you?” the former-count goes on, pacing in front of you, tapping the end of the riding crop against the metal of his palm. You nod, breathing out a, “yes,” as you watch Lucio’s lithe form move languorously before you. He looks just about ready to come undone, though he's hiding it a little better than Julian. His cheeks are rosied, cock stiff and throbbing, but his motions are calculated.
“Julian, do you want to fill her?” Lucio continues, his smile growing wider and more devilish with every second.
“Yes,” Julian speaks, voice hitching in his throat. Swiftly, Lucio kneels down over Julian, pressing fervent kisses along his jawline before enveloping Julian’s swollen lips in his. You watch, enamored with the swell of Julian’s chest into Lucio’s, his back arched with pleasure as the riding crop glides languidly along the fragile flesh of his groin. Your beguiling, fiery-haired doctor looks an absolute sinful, disheveled mess. You can feel more and more warmth pooling in your heat with every little keen that emanates from Julian. He's entirely lost in his pleasure and it delights you to no end.
“Good,” Lucio praises between kisses, “She’s been waiting so patiently all these weeks for you to fill her.”
You catch Lucio glancing furtively over at you, his silver eye open only a crack. His look is shrewd and resolute, making sure that you're watching them, and that you aren’t losing interest. He only closes his eyes when he has judged that you're still as hot and bothered as you were before. It's no secret. Your cheeks are burning and your body is practically trembling with anticipation.
Lucio suddenly pauses, drawing back and pulling Julian with him, hooking a finger underneath one of the braids of rope. Lucio’s sharp gaze drags purposefully along Julian’s face, drinking in the sight of his precious Jules all ravished and bewitchingly aroused.
“But you’re not allowed to touch y/n, or kiss her. And,” he runs the end of the riding crop along Julian’s jawline, drawing a breathy moan from the man, “You know exactly what’ll happen if you do.”
With that, Julian positions himself above you, but gets entirely ahead of himself when he grasps your legs to help you draw them around his waist. You hear the crack of the riding crop against Julian’s ass, followed by a wicked laugh from Lucio.
“You haven’t even started yet!” he exclaims, before tenderly rubbing the spot he just hit, “Awww, Julian, my love. This really doesn’t bode well for you.”
“You’re a beast, Lucio,” Julian huffs, smiling ruefully, replacing his hands back on either side of your head. You smile lovingly up at Julian before planting a soft kiss on the inside of his wrist.
“Here,” you speak quietly, wrapping your legs around his hips and drawing him flush to your groin, “I’ll help you out.” Julian returns your adoring gaze as he slips deftly inside you, letting out a slow hiss as he sheathes himself within your folds. He pauses for a moment, allowing you to adjust to his girth, before slowly pumping in and out of you.
“Good boy, Jules,” Lucio commends, raking his metal talons along Julian’s back and garnering a salacious mewl from the good doctor.
The fire in your core is building, a lambent flame bursting brighter as Julian picks up his pace, pounding harder and faster into you. His face is strained with concentration, trying everything in his power not to lean down to capture your lips or run his hands over your curves. He slips once or twice (a bit on purpose, you suspect), tenderly stroking your blushing cheeks with the backs of his fingers when you moan out his name. Lucio is quick to correct him, another cruel smack of the riding crop against Julian’s ass.
“Such a naughty boy, Julian,” he purrs, smoothing his hand along Julian’s now reddened skin, gently massaging.
“My darlings, I’m so close,” you whimper, your body rocking with each powerful thrust. You can feel that Julian is too, his member twitching against your walls. You want desperately to draw him down to your lips, to breathe in the warmth of his scent, to feel his body flush against yours. But you know that will only get him in trouble.
“Do it, Julian. Come for us,” Lucio eggs on from behind Julian, a sultry impatience in his voice. That little push is all Julian needs to unravel above you and for you to quickly follow suit. Julian’s seed spills inside you, hot and sticky. You cry out his name as you come undone, walls shuddering with pleasure, as you grasp yearningly at Julian. You draw him closer, your nails dragging down his back and drawing a loud, passionate cry of your name from him.
Julian gives a few more lazy pumps inside you, his essence starting to drip down your thighs and onto the rug beneath you. Before he can collapse on top of you, utterly spent, Lucio draws him up by what remains of his bindings and forces him into a kneeling position.
“Ah, ah, we’re not done yet,” he tuts, tilting Julian’s face towards him, “Think you can take me, too? If you’re not too tired?” Julian, weary but willing, smiles impishly at the man.
“‘Too tired?’” Julian mocks breathlessly, shooting Lucio a challenging look, “I'm always tired, but never too tired for the two of you.”
Lucio growls at this and dives in to ensnare Julian’s lips. More burning kisses pass between them, allowing you a moment to catch your breath. Lucio has so much stamina, sometimes. You can hardly keep up, you think to yourself with a smile.
“Mmmm, my darling dove, I meant to tell you earlier, you taste so delicious on our dear doctor’s lips,” Lucio lasciviously groans, gaze falling on you, his smirk positively filthy. You feel heat rise to your cheeks and watch as Lucio holds Julian close to him and asks if he's ready. Julian nods vehemently, trying once again to press his lips against Lucio’s, but the blonde rascal won't let him. Instead, he bends Julian forwards, so he's hovering over you once again. Julian’s lips connect with yours as Lucio begins to take him from behind. You feel him smile, his tongue, indeed, tasting of you, now. Julian’s body, overstimulated and tired, trembles against yours with each thrust from Lucio. But his husky groans and grunts when he draws back for air tell you he's having the time of his life.
“Julian, you take us so well,” Lucio huffs as he rams mercilessly into the man, raking his metal claws down his back. Julian can only respond with a tragic little huff of thanks.
“You’re such a good boy, Julian. You work so hard for us,” you praise, running your hands along his sweat-slicked chest. Julian gives a small smile before another heady moan rumbles from his chest.
“F- fuck, Lucio,” he pants, tears forming in the corners of his eyes. He grits his teeth as Lucio pounds even faster into him. You hear Lucio’s voice call out gruffly as he spends his load inside Julian. After a moment, Lucio releases his grip on your rakish rogue, letting him collapse onto you, exhausted and dizzy. You snuggle Julian close, peppering the top of his head with kisses, running your hands through the fiery curls of his hair. He rests his cheek against your bosom, his body overheated and shaky. He's silent for a long while, luxuriating in the comfort of your embrace.
You feel Lucio flop down beside you, breathless and pleased with himself. He draws himself closer to the two of you, draping an arm across Julian’s back and tenderly kissing his forehead. Together, you and Lucio work to undo Julian’s bindings, kissing along the marks it's left behind on his soft skin. The two of you make sure to take good care of your doting partner, and you make sure to tell him how appreciated he is.
“We love you, Julian,” you speak, planting a gentle kiss on the corner of his thin lips.
“Very much so,” Lucio adds, repeating your action, “I hope your patients are grateful of how hard you work for them. And I also hope they know how irritated I am that they keep you away from us for so long.”
“Lucio, I don’t think you ever have to worry about people not knowing you’re irritated,” Julian taunts, garnering a laugh from you and a scowl from the former-count.
“In all seriousness,” Julian goes on after he’s finished chuckling, “I do love you both, quite a lot. Thank you for indulging me this evening.”
“You don’t have to thank us, love. You work so hard, all day long. You deserve to be cherished for the wonderful man that you are. Now, are you ready to be indulged even more?” you venture, excitedly sitting up and gesturing to the desk covered in food.
“I might need a moment to recover,” Julian admits with a fatigued smile, “You two tired me out.”
“That was our intention,” Lucio returns, flashing a toothy smile. The three of you lay there for a while, snuggled up by the fire, breathing in each other’s presence. Eventually, you rise to enjoy your meal (all three of you completely famished), before settling in for a warm bubble bath (that does, indeed, end up becoming a heated make-out session, as Lucio had earlier predicted), and retiring to bed.
Just as you had hoped for, you doze to the sound of Julian practicing his vielle on the balcony, sorrowful and sweet in its tones. When he finishes playing, he snuggles up between you and Lucio and promptly passes out. From the contented look on his face, you can tell he's getting the most peaceful night of sleep he’s probably ever had. You feel beyond grateful, entirely loved, and you hope Julian does, too.
