2. Did you reread anything? What?

Band Sinister, babbyyyyy. everyone should go read about the Murder and their orgies in KJ Charles's arguably most wholesome romance. right now immediately. Also KJ's Any Old Diamonds, because I was reading a sequel to it, and Wanted, A Gentleman, because it's tenuously linked to Band Sinister. and Cat Sebastian's duology The Queer Principles of Kit Webb / The Perfect Crimes of Marian Hayes, just because I wanted to.

8. Did you meet any of your reading goals? Which ones?

I do attempt not to make explicit goals, so as not to gamify / competitivify (?) reading too much for myself. That said, I do like to aim for at least an average of one book a week, which I hit (57 books, two more than last year), and at least a couple of non-fiction (three. technically more than a couple.)

24. Did you DNF anything? Why?

No because i'm. incapable of it. (that might be the autism). i did come awful close on a couple, though - Happy Place by Emily Henry, which I knew was going to be bad, I knew it, but it was a very cheap copy and i was like 'okay let's see what the het romance tiktok girlies are going on about'. the het romance tiktok girlies, predictably, are going on about absolutely awful books. Cuckoo by Gretchen Felker-Martin, for completely different reasons - it was good, she's a very good writer, it was just hitting too many violence buttons for me personally, in too unequal a way. A Date With Death by Julia Chapman and Dykette by Jenny Fran Davis I was just kinda bored by.
