Greg Hahn, Mischief Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer, Says It All Comes Down To The Work.
Greg Hahn is the Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of Mischief@No Fixed Address. Just moments before this insightful and engaging chat, Adweek named Mischief “US Agency of the Year” for excellent brand-building for clients like Tubi (loved the trio of Super Bowl spots), Peet’s Coffee, Tinder and more. Adweek also called out the stellar branding of Mischief itself. Even more impressive given…

"Agatha All Along", also known as "It Was ______ All Along", is an original song from the Marvel Studios Disney+ miniseries WandaVision. Written by the series' theme song composers Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez for the seventh episode, "Breaking the Fourth Wall", the song was performed by star Kathryn Hahn, with Lopez, Eric Bradley, Greg Whipple, Jasper Randall, and Gerald White serving as backup singers. The song drew inspiration from the theme songs from The Munsters and The Addams Family.

Ruby Gillman: The Call of the Leviathan (Sequel Fanfic Idea)
Summary: After getting precognitive nightmares about the Leviathan, a giant mighty mythical sea snake feared by all, Ruby Gillman soon learns that she has made the grave mistake of indirectly releasing the beast from its ancient magical bonds. The task to undo this mistake is not an easy one by a long shot, and the key to it working is an alliance so shocking and unorthodox that it may just be insane enough to work. If this mission does not go according to plan, it may lead to the destruction of everything Ruby holds dear in her life. No pressure, right?

What happens when you go beyond the assignment and write from the heart
I'm reproducing in its entirety a wonderful LinkedIn post by former colleague Jim Lesser:
Many of us wake up every September 11th and instantly remember exactly where we were at that moment in 2001. It all comes flooding back.
Here's a story about one of my most vivid memories from that week.
In the days that followed 9-11, we were all struggling. We were still reeling from the shock and we were numb and exhausted and confused.
And one morning, I opened the paper and saw this.
An ad.
I glanced down to see it was from United Airlines, of all companies.
I took a breath and read, "Monday, September 10."
I encourage you to read the full text in this reprint.
Then, as now, the hair stands up on the back of my neck.
Every time.
How could a company--let alone, United--be so insightful about what millions of us were feeling in a time of unspeakable tragedy?
I was so moved that I tore it out and saved it.
Cut to many years later when I was at BBDO Worldwide. I was chatting with my brilliant friend and colleague Greg Hahn about the impact that ad had on me, and he shared this behind-the-scenes story.
He was a young copywriter at Fallon at the time, and he got a call on friday, September 14th, from his creative director, Bob Moore, who asked him to touch up a very respectful, but 'business sounding' corporate letter that the United CEO wanted to run on Monday to thank the heroic first responders. The request was to "make it a bit more human."
Greg was wrestling with the same pain and sadness and confusion that we all felt.
So he sat down and did the assignment. But then felt that it wasn't enough.
"It was fine. But it wasn't fine for the moment."
"Feelings were raw. We were all dealing with something we had no way of processing. So I wrote that based on my own very personal thoughts and observations. I sent both to Bob and said, 'here's what they asked for, and here's this other thing I wrote because it felt like we needed to say more.'"
Every time I think back on this story, it gives me chills. Imagine getting that brief--with no time and no guidance.
Imagine the stakes of getting it wrong--of going too far.
Greg, so many of us remember your words because they captured how we were ALL feeling in that moment.
"On Tuesday, September 11, the best of the human spirit spit back into the eye of the worst. On Tuesday, September 11, America was knocked to its knees. On Tuesday, September 11, America got back up again."
So thank you.
We will never forget.
