Oh gosh I love everything by Juliet Marillier! Or however you spell her name. She’s done some different takes on classic folk/fairy tales and they’re great. She did one that was based on the dancing princesses story and it was lovely. <3

i remember really liking her stuff! unfortunately all my juliet marillier books are now buried somewhere in my parents' basement and i will probably never see them again

YOU CAN DO IT i mean completely selfishly i basically just want to see you blog about it and enjoy the experience vicariously. also re: transport, amtrak tends to run late but it is DEFINITELY more comfortable. and it’s faster.

Yeah, I'm fond of Amtrak, if only because that's how me and mom would do NYC weekend trips back when we had spare cash and a grandma to visit

but the bus would be about a third of the cost. 

but I totally got 300 bucks from my grandmother for graduation and I don't really have anything huge to save up for atm...

Dee: Frank, you're just gonna let him keep a dragon in your house?  What, does he sleep in the bed with you?

Frank: No, he sleeps in the living room.  But it's all right, because we're gonna move into a bigger place with all the money we get.

Dee: Money?  From what?

Frank: From the underground kaiju fight club we're gonna start!  People will pay big money to come see a guy get slaughtered by one of these things.

Charlie: Stop trying to exploit Noodles!

DUDE I CAN DO THE HAND THING TOO. I can also bend my thumbs pretty far back, and stretch my fingers about an inch or so. Actually, I can do that with all of my joints. My sister laughed really hard at The Incredibles because REAL LIFE ELASTIGIRL.
