Well, I haven’t written as much as some FF writers here... mostly b/c I was mainly focused on my LongFic (which is still going... even though an update is long overdue...) SO! I guess I’ll start with that one!

1. Kylara's Origins - Holy crows! I just realized that this behemoth of a Fic is now almost 2 years old!! (May 13th 2020 will mark the anniversary) What started as a pet project during Alistair Appreciation Week 2018 (which, I feel we need to have another...someday! Alibear always deserves love!) has become a massive piece of Fanfiction at 368120 words (and counting!) Please don’t let its size scare you away -- it will be coming to its closure soon. I am currently finishing writing the Dalish/Werewolf arc... and will soon be moving onto the Landsmeet... then onto the Final Battle! What will happen to Kylara and Alistair? Will they get to stay together? Hopefully you will continue to read and find out! 🥰 

There are sequels planned as well for Kylara! I will cover the DAA story arc with her. DAII will be Garrett Hawke’s story, naturally, but Kylara will have some cameo appearances! She and Garrett are cousins, afterall! As for my DAI Fic... I really want to avoid spoilers! 🤫 Kylara will be there... but she is NOT the Quizzy! I won’t say any more! 

2. 14-Day DA Lover’s Prompts - A series of prompts that were given to write short stories between Feb 1st and 14th. While I didn’t finish on time, I did FINISH them, so for that I am happy! While I did have some stories with Kylara and Alistair, this time I wrote many other ‘ships, experimenting to see if I could venture from my “comfort zone” of Ali and Ky (however, they will always be my babies, no matter what! 🤗) In here, I also featured stories written for some of really awesome friends. I wrote a Cullbastian short for @cullenlovesmen. There is also a story dedicated to my super-awesome friend @andrastini (featuring art by the amazingly talented @ambellinaleander), and a short Culistair Kiss dedicated to the always wonderful @aurlyn! All in all, I was happy how these shorts turned out!

3. Camping Chaos - A short that was written for Fictober 2018. I never did complete that 31 day challenge... but this little one shot that came of it was fun and enjoyable to write! Set in a modern AU Thedas where Alistair and Cullen are college roommates, the two go on a camping trip that goes anything but smoothly!

4. Fictober 2019 - Another Fictober that I didn’t finish... BUT I WILL! 🤞 Even though it is months past the deadline, I have become quite attached to this series of shorts. Fictober is meant to be short one-shots created with prompts... but the list that was given that year actually inspired me to make it a continuous story! Yes, they can be read as separate, but each story does link on to the next. It is Alistair and Kylara... but this time set in a modern Thedas, where the entire DA gang are all in college together! I finished Day 19 not that long ago... and once I get the next chapter of my LongFic up, I will contnue to write more for this Fictober... until I finish it!

5. Seduction Aboard The Siren - The most Explicit story I have ever written! We all know in DAO that if you flirt with Isabela in the Pearl you can (under the right circumstances) have a threesome (or even a foursome!) with the lusty pirate. Except all you get in the game is a fade-to-black screen. So I took it upon myself to write what really went down on board The Siren! 💋💋💋

Well there you go. I have a few other things I’ve written, but these are my current favorites. It had been wet all day. Gentle rain fell steadily from the sky, cutting through the thick, heavy air. The drops rolled over the edges of the barrier surrounding her, but Solona still felt damp.

She eyed the leaden clouds above her as she walked. Funny that when she'd arrived their looming presence seemed to dull everything. Grey was everywhere, the air, the sea, every street and wall in the city. Now the rolling sky was effervescent, boiling with subtle hues of purple, blue and green. The cobbles shone like glass under her shoes.

Drops of water trickled around her and she itched to drop her shield and join in the cool relief. But she couldn't.

There was work to be done. Aveline's report needed to be filed, and if Varric's information on the Merchant Guild's new price hike was accurate -- and it always was --  she would be writing letters to suppliers all night.

She let frost creep over her fingertips and pressed her hands to the back of her neck. It was a momentary reprieve from the heat, but it didn't help. When the sky was like this, something primal rose in her soul that whispered, 'Dance, run. You are wild and always were.'

She sighed. If she didn't pass out at her desk again, she would take a bath before bed and that would have to suffice.

She climbed the stairs to her office, nodding at the guards posted in the courtyard as she pushed through the door.

Her shield fell as she entered the hallway, turning right instead of left. Cullen needed to sign off on the changes they'd made in the meeting before she could send the files out.

"Knight-Commande-" she faltered as she stepped past the threshold.

He was frozen halfway through removing one pauldron from his shoulder. Light from a single candle cut through the shadowed room, gleaming against the tarnished bronze curls pressed flat to his forehead by the rain. Drops of water clung to their ends, forming a sparkling crown that dripped into his eyes.

His eyes. 

Wide in shock, but deep and dark in the dim light, and always so warm. Warm and brown as the earth and all she could see.

The air was electric. It crackled over her skin, raising hairs as it went. He breathed and she felt it, like air in her own lungs. A drop fell to his cheek. She licked her lips. His eyes followed and-

She turned and kept walking until she felt the first cool drops of rain hit her skin. She lifted her palms and tilted her face to the sky, closing her eyes.

The clouds rolled and the water pooled in her palms and leaked through her fingers and she was one with the rain.

But his eyes were there, always in her mind, so warm the heavy air felt cool against her burning skin.

'You are wild,' the rain sang and it was enough.

It was never enough.

What I did in February

Yes, I’m back with a little self promotion for the month of February. 

You should all do this by the way. Because I say so. And because tumblr is a fleeting fast thing and timezones are a thing and sometimes we just miss shit and people really love you and love to see and read what you do and maybe they just didn’t see it!

February was.. busy in an ineffective way. I did lots of things that aren’t quite visible and I’m not sure where all the time went. I kind of know actually, I didn’t pile up over 20 hours of overtime at work from nothing and looking at the archive on my tumblr... yeah, that’s where the time went.

I did work on some more original fiction but I’m still in the process of getting an effective writing habit down and find the endurance to just keep writing without the nice little feedback loop that I know from writing fanfic.

I my post for January, I somehow missed that I published a new chapter for Trifecta? Not sure how that happened. [AO3]

I’m currently writing the next chapter for this, so hopefully there will be something for March.

Beginning of February, I published the fifth chapter for In Service to the Inquisitor. Cullen gets to orgasm! [AO3]

I still have plans for this fic, so sit tight, there will be more!

And just before the end of the month, I sneaked in Fake With Me, my entry for the Leather&Lace event by @vorchagirl and @blueteaparty. [AO3]

I’m also reading a book! OMG WHAAaat? It’s The Mental Game of Writing: How to Overcome Obstacles, Stay Creative and Productive, and Free Your Mind for Success by James Scott Bell and yes, it’s exactly what it says on the cover.

And I know this got long but I also want to point to my event for the month of March: Make Mine March, finish a WIP!

I revived this dead blog because this fic touched me so much I had to yell about it somewhere. This AU delves into all of the darkness and character depth that the clone sub-plot could have revealed for a Shepard with a darker past, which is something I soaked up like a sponge from the moment I began to the moment I finished. Not only is the wordsmithing and balance of drama and humor well done, but the introspection behind every character is captured so well; the author goes far deeper into each person’s wants, and histories, and weaknesses, than Bioware does. I also deeply, deeply appreciate how much the author trusts the readers of this fic to read between the lines, catch small references and character moments that aren’t fully explained, and to treat every character, particularly Shepard, like fully-fledged individuals that all have their secrets to hide.

Also, the art is great. Like, really great. Which is just a huge bonus.

Por fín ha empezado la temporada y las primeras en ir apareciendo en jardines y balcones son las variedades de marihuana autofloreciente. Después de requerir a su propietario, que se encontraba en las inmediaciones de la instalación agrícola, para inspeccionar el interior del invernadero, los agentes confirmaron que se trataba de una plantación de sandías y, diseminadas, hasta 10 plantas de marihuana (Cannabis sativa) de un importante tamaño. Al combinar una buena tierra con nutrientes orgánicos que contengan extractos de algas marinas, guano, melaza, extracto de caña de azúcar, jugo de coco compost de lombriz, las plantas tienen lo mejor desde el principio hasta el final y lo notarás en los resultados. En un cultivo de interior en condiciones óptimas se puede llegar a producir en cada cosecha hasta un gramo de cogollo seco por cada vatio de luz empleado (es decir, 600 gramos por cosecha con una lámpara de 600w) pero en la vida real la producción suele ser más baja. Las tierras para el cultivo de la marihuana se componen principalmente de una mezcla de turba rubia y turba negra aunque se mezclan con otros a ditivos para el sustrato como la perlita , el humus el guano que consiguen enriquecer y mejorar el sustrato. Las tablas de cultivo son un poco genéricas, están hechas para cultivadores sin experiencia, cuando tengas algo más de experiencia controlarás el alimento que le tienes que dar a la planta en cada fase sin necesidad de tablas. Cuando la producción de clorofila va a toda velocidad, una planta producirá tanto follaje verde como permitan la luz, el C02, los nutrientes y el agua. No seas ambicioso en éste aspecto, ya que correrás el riesgo de perder el cultivo si las plantas no tienen espacio, luz y oxígeno necesarios. La etapa de floración suele durar unos dos meses en variedades índicas autoflorecientes, en ocasiones tres. Las variedades Fast Version son el resultado de cruzar una variedad dependiente del fotoperiodo, normalmente un clon élite, es decir, una planta ya conocida y seleccionada por su gran calidad, con una variedad autofloreciente. No te interesa en absoluto un sustrato en el que los riegos han de ser constantes para hidratar las plantas. Las macetas que menos se calientan son las textiles como smart pot, Al no tener sol directo la planta no producirá tanto como si tenemos 4-5 horas de sol directo, se puede desarrollar y producir pero en menor tamaño. Aquí podrás encontrar pantallas de iluminación LED para fase de crecimiento y floración y bombillas anti estrés LED. Para cultivar marihuana en exterior con éxito, es importante elegir las variedades adecuadas para el clima. Finalmente, en el caso de cultivar en maceta, colocaremos arlita algún material que actúe como drenaje en el fondo de la misma para evitar que el sustrato pueda quedar saturado de agua. No tiene sentido ahorrar dinero en un sustrato de baja calidad y padecerlo todo el cultivo, el resultado será una cosecha con menores rendimientos de inferior calidad. La luz es el factor ambiental más complejo y variable que actúa sobre las plantas. Si eres principiante en la materia te recomendamos empezar a utilizarlos fertilizantes de crecimiento una vez a la semana, siempre aplicando la dosis mínima y observando en todo momento la reacción de las plantas.
