ESTM recebeu as II Jornadas Healthy Campus do Politécnico de Leiria

Sob o mote “Promoção da qualidade (de)vida no Campus”, o Politécnico de Leiria promoveu, no dia 29 de novembro de 2024, as II Jornadas Healthy Campus. Em simultâneo, realizou-se na Escola Superior de Turismo e Tecnologia do Mar (ESTM), a conferência final do projeto “Green Campus”.

O Healthy Campus é um programa destinado à promoção de estilos de vida saudável e ativa nas Comunidades Académicas do Ensino Superior. Desenvolvido pela Federação Internacional do Desporto Universitário (FISU), tem como objetivo melhorar todos os aspetos de bem-estar dos estudantes e da comunidade académica em geral.

A Final Conference do Green Campus abordou os estilos de vida sustentáveis e saudáveis nos campi universitários e respetivas comunidades, tendo o Politécnico de Leiria recebido a Certificação Green Campus Gold.

Esta iniciativa abriu as portas a todos os interessados e reuniu cerca de 90 participantes ao longo do dia, entre estudantes, docentes, investigadores, técnicos administrativos e dirigentes, quer do Politécnico de Leiria, quer de outras instituições nacionais e internacionais.

À semelhança das I Jornadas, a iniciativa do Healthy Campus do Politécnico de Leiria teve como principal objetivo proporcionar um momento de partilha de conhecimento e experiências com profissionais de diversas áreas multidisciplinares que têm contribuído para o sucesso do programa, dando visibilidade e destaque às boas práticas desenvolvidas nos campi.

Pedro Dias, Secretário de Estado do Desporto, Fernando Parente, Diretor de Desenvolvimento da Federação Internacional do Desporto Universitário (FISU), Ricardo Nora, Presidente da Federação Académica do Desporto Universitário (FADU), Nobre Francisco, Inspetor em Chefia na Polícia Judiciária, e Joana Sacramento, da Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, foram alguns dos oradores convidados.
