This full Moon has also been called the Long Night Moon (Mohican), as it rises during the “longest” nights of the year, near the December winter solstice. This name is doubly fitting because December’s full Moon shines above the horizon for a more extended period than most full Moons.

• This December is unique because there will be TWO new Moons. This is called a Black Moon.

“Yule” comes from Old English geol, which shares a history with the equivalent word from Old Norse, jól. Both these words referred to a midwinter festival centered around the winter solstice, which traditionally marked the halfway point of the winter season. After the solstice—the shortest day of the year—the days again begin to grow longer, so it’s thought that Yule was a celebration of the re-appearance of the Sun &the fertile land’s rebirth. 

• The celebration of Yule is one of the oldest winter celebrations in the world. Ancient people were hunters & spent most of their time outdoors. The seasons & weather played a significant part in their lives. The customs & traditions associated with it vary widely. Scholars have connected the original celebrations of Yule to the Wild Hunt, the god Odin & the heathen Anglo-Saxon Mōdraniht (“Mothers’ Night”)

• Some believe it marks the rebirth of the Sun (the God) from the Earth (the Goddess) & the cold days of winter will soon begin to wane. The Goddess is seen in her virgin Maiden aspect

In towns and cities throughout Sweden during the Christmas season, large goats are constructed out of straw. It is thought that the tradition originated in ancient times, perhaps as a tribute to the god Thor, who was said to ride in a chariot pulled by goats. In Sweden the goat came to be associated with the Christmas celebration & the Yule goat is now considered by many to be a companion or counterpart to Santa Claus.

This connects to ancient proto-Slavic beliefs where the Koliada (Yule) festival honors the god of the fertile sun & the harvest. This god, Devac (also known as Dazbog or Dažbog), was represented by a white goat. Consequently the Koliada festivals always had a person dressed as a goat, often demanding offerings in the form of presents. A man-sized goat figure is known from 11th-century remembrances of Childermas, where it was led by a man dressed as Saint Nicholas, symbolizing his control over the Devil.

An annual festival commemorating the birth of Jesus Christ as the son of God. For Christians, believing that God came into the world in the form of man to atone for the sins of humanity rather than knowing Jesus's exact birth date is considered to be the primary purpose of celebrating Christmas.

Hanukkah-December 25-January 2nd:

 A Jewish festival commemorating the recovery of Jerusalem & subsequent rededication of the Second Temple at the beginning of the Maccabean Revolt against the Seleucid Empire in the 2nd century BCE.

Hanukkah is observed for eight nights & days, starting on the 25th day of Kislev according to the Hebrew calendar, which may occur at any time from late November to late December in the Gregorian calendar. The festival is observed by lighting the candles of a candelabrum with nine branches, commonly called a menorah or hanukkiah. 

Kwanzaa-December 26th-January 1st:

An annual celebration of African-American culture, culminating in a communal feast called Karamu, usually on the sixth day. It was created by activist Maulana Karenga, based on African harvest festival traditions from various parts of West & Southeast Africa. Kwanzaa was first celebrated in 1966. 

A Kwanzaa ceremony may include drumming and musical selections, libations, a reading of the African Pledge & the Principles of Blackness, reflection on the Pan-African colors, a discussion of the African principle of the day or a chapter in African history, a candle-lighting ritual, artistic performance & finally, a feast of faith (Karamu Ya Imani).

Saturnalia- December 17-23rd:

An ancient Roman festival and holiday in honour of the god Saturn, The holiday was celebrated with a sacrifice at the Temple of Saturn, in the Roman Forum & a public banquet, followed by private gift-giving, continual partying & a carnival atmosphere that overturned Roman social norms: gambling was permitted & masters provided table service for their slaves as it was seen as a time of liberty for both slaves & freedmen alike.

 A common custom was the election of a “King of the Saturnalia”, who gave orders to people, which were followed & presided over the merrymaking. The gifts exchanged were usually gag gifts or small figurines made of wax or pottery known as sigillaria. The poet Catullus called it “the best of days”.

Feast of Epona- December 18th:

Eponalia is the feast day of Gaulish Goddess Epona, the Divine Mare & in the time of the Roman Empire

Epona is known to be one of a very few Gaulish deities whose names were spread to the rest of the Roman Empire. This seems to have happened because Roman cavalry units stationed in Gaul followed her & adopted her as their Patroness. This may have started because many of the cavalry troops were conscripted from Gaul as they were superb horsemen. From Gaul the Romans took Epona with them including to Rome where She was given her own feast day on the 18 December. They worshipped her as Epona Augusta or Epona Regina & invoked her on behalf of the Emperor. She even had a shrine in the barracks of the Imperial Bodyguard.

Hunting of the Wren-December 26th:

A traditional custom carried out on the Isle of Man on  St. Stephen’s Day. It consists of groups of people going around villages and towns singing and dancing a traditional song and dance around a decorated wren pole.

The earliest and most common folklore story accounting for the origin of hunt the wren tells of a fairy/enchantress/witch whose beauty lures the men of the Isle of Man to harm, for which she is chased and is changed into the form of a wren. It is therefore in punishment for her actions that the wren is hunted on St. Stephen’s Day

A little story before I get into this:

In an alternate timeline where Y/N joined the Grand Cookie Games, they almost lost their life too the three sisters (I don’t know if they have a group name).

The reason why I say almost was because at the last minute before Y/N died, Blood Orange found them and used something he swore to never use.

Green Tea Mousse: “for being such a strong cookie, you don’t really last longe you know.”

Salsa: “S-shut up… I’ll make sure you and your sisters will rot in the deepest parts of the dungeon.”

Pudding à la Mode: “how sweet of you to say. But I’m bored. And you’re no fun anymore. Time to-“

Choco Drizzle: “wait…who’s that?”

Choco Drizzle: “Is that…Y/N?”

Green Tea Mousse: “oh~ someone still wants to fight~ don’t worry, I’ll-…hold on.”

Green Tea Mouse: “…Those aren’t your eyes.”

Y/N?: “…I’ll kill you… I will kill all over you.”

Bloody Y/N: “I’ll make sure to send you to hell itself, you worthless pests.”

Yeah so Blood Orange can “give up” his power(stand) to make it possess other creatures. He has full control over them if he does so

Class: support charger

What makes Blood Y/N so dangerous is not only is the powers of Blood Orange are transferred over but Y/N’s Original ability is changed to be stronger but changed so the buffs work only for Y/N and Y/N ONLY. 

(But the enraged state for remaining cookies still works, only stronger.)

Canon wise the possession ability is used ONLY if Y/N is about to die… That’s it.

Christmas with the Greasers; Headcanons

Hey guys these are some headcanons about the Greasers for Christmas!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

Ponyboy

Loves Christmas.

Buys everyone books in hopes of getting them to like them more. Then has to read them because half of them can’t read to save a life.

He made everyone wait until all the others were there to open presents. 

The only one who can make a tea for Darry. 

He and Johnny team up to try and get Dally to enjoy Christmas. 

Pony goes to Church on Christmas Eve alone. Even though he no longer goes regularly, it reminds him of his parents.

Sodapop

Puts tinsel fucking everywhere.

Y’know how tinsel has like the fine little strips? Yeah, you’ll be finding bits of that in your food for weeks.

Buys everyone like lollies from the DX and writes badly spelt cards.

Puts decorations everywhere as well.

Managed to put a Santa hat on Dally’s head and doesn’t end up getting beat somehow.

But like, are you gonna punch a golden retriever? No. Not even Dally could do that.

Darry

Does this whole thing my parents do where he goes “I’m not getting up until someone makes me a cup of fucking tea.”

Enjoys watching 5 teenage boys rush to make a cup of tea while Dally just smokes a cigarette.

They have a tradition of all the gang celebrating at the Curtis house, as if they were all blood-family.

Gets everyone good presents.

Puts on Holiday Inn and White Christmas and shushes anyone who talks during during the films.

Johnny

He and Pony team up to get Dally to enjoy Christmas ofc.

Makes cookies and gives them in little packages to everyone.

Actually likes the Christmas movies Darry puts on.

Throws snowballs at socs with Dally but hides when they turn. 

Sleeps over at the Curtis house with the others ofc and doesn’t go home at all, too scared of his family.

Decorates a lot but we’ll, unlike Soda who’s just crazed.

Dally

Christmas Day is the only day Darry lets him smoke inside the house so he takes full advantage of that.

Really doesn’t see the point on Christmas.

Although, he does kind of grow to like it through the constant forceful nature of Johnny and Pony.

Gets everyone like, a pack of cigarettes or something like that. 

Threw snowballs and passer-bys.

Bought Buck a pack of cigarettes and Buck cried. One of the first hugs he didn’t immediately escape.

(I love the idea that Buck is just a sweet, lonely guy. Cause we don’t really know his personality, I headcanon him as a sweetheart).

Two-Bit

First up and is running wild in the house to wake everyone up.

Burnt himself but dropping boiling water on his like whilst trying to make Darry’s tea.

Complained about it for approximately 1.896 seconds before resuming running around whilst holding an ice pack to his leg.

Gets everyone a bottle of coke or something.

Screams happily when the Mickey Mouse Christmas specials come on.

No one is sad around Two-Bit but especially on Christmas cause he’s just an actual fucking child on Christmas.

Steve

Bought proper and good gifts but mostly so he could brag that he gave the best gifts.

Tried to suffocate Soda with tinsel when he almost ate a bit of green tinsel. 

Puts snow down Socs backs as they go past and uses Dally as a shield when they get angry.

Tries to watch the films but gets bored and makes snarky remarks throughout them.

Kianna in Wonderland - Part 2

Tea Tangent

"Welcome to our tea party, Alice"! Queen Yuki greeted. She was smiling from her throne as she helped herself to some food. "I hope we will all become good friends". Yuki beamed, pinching a red macaroon in between her fingers.

Suddenly, a silver-haired young man stepped forward. He was dressed in black spade armor. "I present the Queen of Hearts, Yuki Kuran". The Spade Knight proudly announced, gesturing towards the woman beside him. "My name is Zero. I am Captain to the Queen's royal guard and her personal knight". He said, graciously bowing.

A young woman with wavy toffee-colored hair, which fell to her waist, stepped forward. She stood tall beside the king wearing red heart armor. "May I present the King of Hearts, Kaname Kuran". The beautiful woman said in a refined tone. "I am Ruka, Captain of the King's royal guard". Ruka said with honor as she curtsied. She then stretched out a hand to the woman who stood two feet behind her. "This is Seiren, the King's bodyguard". Ruka stated.

Seiren rigidly stood in silence wearing red diamond armor. Her lavender eyes were cold and she had a lilac chin-length hair. "We are some of the card guards". The dignified woman said flatly as she bowed.

"It's nice to met you all". Kianna greeted.

A young man then sloutched in his wobbly chair with a heavy sigh. He wore a navy blue waistcoat with a grey dress shirt. Acknowledging his droppy blonde ears with his matching scruffy hair, Kianna concluded he must be the March Hare. "The rest of us are their subjects..." He huffed. "Just do as your told and nothing bad will happen to you". The blonde hare warned.

"Hanabusa," Kaname called. "Mind your manners". He warned with narrowed eyes.

The March Hare then straighted his posture but kept his bright blue eyes cast down in his lap. "Yes, my King". He quickly responds.

"I'll keep that in mind". Kianna replied. Despite the warning, she didn't pay much attention to it. Instead, Kianna simply enjoyed the crazy, yet fun atmosphere. Her amber eyes scanned the crowed of people at the tea party from where she sat. Kianna's eyes then traveled up the truck of a tree and landed on a red cat figure. She concluded he must be the Cheshire Cat. However, instead of a wide grin, this guy was laying in the tree with a neutral expression. His blue-gray eyes were dull. It was clear he was bored.

Tearing her gaze away, Kianna redirected her attention onto the finely dressed tailor-like gentleman sitting across from her. His suit and large tophat were a pretty green, like his eyes. "I'm Takuma"! The blonde greeted. "Do you like tea, Alice"? Takuma asked. When Kianna opened her mouth to reply, her words were immediately shoved in the back of her throat. "Of course you do! Here, have a cup of rose tea". He smiled, pouring Kianna a cup and handing it to her.

"Thank you". Kianna smiled. Whatever was going on with these people made her decide it was best to go along with their crazy behavior. Kianna then politely took the teacup and saucer from Takuma's gloved hands and smelled the floral fragrance.

"We also have jasmine, green tea, white tea, peppermint, oolong, chamomile..." Takuma said, going off on tangent.

Rima suddenly popped her head out of her teapot. A tiny white tophat sat on the side of her head. She then clumbed out of it and darted to a tray of sugar cookies. Rima selected a thin clock cookie and rolled it on its side up to Kianna. "I'm Rima. Have a cookie, Alice"! She happily squeaked up at her. Rima was dressed in a white Lolita dress with black and white poka-dot tights and matching gloves. It was a stark contrast to her orange hair, round mouse ears and tail.

"Thank you". Kianna politely smiled. When she picked up the lightly frosted treat, the short girl inspected it and spotted tiny nibble marks on it. Rima must have snacked on it earlier and forgot.

"Black tea, rooibos, ginger, stinging nettle, yerba mate, hibiscus..." Takuma continued to ramble on from across the table.

Kianna brought the teacup up to her lips and took a sip. She enjoys tea, but she always needs a little sugar. "Rima, may I please have some sugar cubes"? Kianna asked.

Rima nodded. She then scurried across the table and up to the fancy china container of sugar. Pushing the lid off, Rima grabbed two sugar cubes. She then retrieved a silver spoon from one of the table settings and used it to bat the cubes on the back of the spoon and into Kianna's cup. Both sugar cubes splashed into Kianna's cup. The action was unexpected, but she didn't show it. Instead, Kianna smiled and thanked the mouse once more.

Up in the tree, the Cheshire Cat occasionally glanced at the five-foot-two Alice. Watching her bright smile caused a faint hue of red to grace his cheeks. "At least you like tea, Alice". Senri suddenly spoke.

"I do enjoy tea, but I don't have a favorite". Kianna smiled up at the cat in his tree.

Senri's blue-gray slit pupil eyes then narrowed at particularly no one. "The other Alices either didn't care for tea or pretended to like tea". He spat. Senri killed the Alices who pretended to enjoy tea because hates those who deceive him. Especially since an Alice must like tea to fit in with him and his twi closest friends: Takuma and Rima.

Rima then squeaked on top of the table. "They all liked sweets, though... Without fruit in them". She added.

Takuma was still going on about his one-sided conversation. "red clover, cinnamon, dandelion, red tea, matcha, milk tea, tart cherry tea, lavender tea..."

Kianna then raised her teacup to her lips. "Well, I guess they were taught wrong, or have poor table manners". She said, taking a sip of her tea. "I don't care for any tea or sweets that contain lemon, though". Kianna blurted. "They taste funny to me". She confessed. Kianna then set her cup back down onto its saucer. "But I don't mind if other people do. I mean, I can't control what other people like". She quickly said. Kianna didn't want to offend anyone. To avoid making anyone in this place angry, he tried to defuse the situation.

"That’s alright. We all have things we don't like". Yuki smiled in dismissal.

Senri's intense gaze then softened in response to Kianna's words. He could tell she was being genuine with him. "In that case, have as much tea as you want". Senri replied in a flat tone. Afterwards, the end of his tail began to flick in contentment. Senri took note of how this Alice likes tea, sweets and is well-mannered. It almost made him purr at how polite she is.

"Oh"! Takuma suddenly huffed. Based on how red his face had become, the obvious Mad Hatter figure hadn't taken a breath since he started listing off tea. "You must detest Lemon or Lemon Balm Tea, then". Takuma giggled.

Senri released a heavy sigh between his parted lips. Although Takuma was a close friend of his, the cat rolled his eyes at the Mad Hatter's obvious statement. It's no wonder Senri had to take frequent naps around Takuma because he was tiring.

Kaname then leaned into Yuki. "It seems our cousin likes this Alice". He said in a low voice.

Yuki followed her king's head and whispered, "Does this mean Senri will finally have a mate"?

"Good. I'm tired of killing them all". Zero suddenly blurted.

"Same". Seiren bluntly replied.

Despite the two card soldiers' outspoken behavior, Kianna's brow knit together. She was confused as to what they were talking about, but the little individual was also concerned for her life at their cold words. Now frowning, Kianna then began to question if she should be finding a means to escape this place.

Fylass In Wonderland -Chapter Six- Domains of the Spade

"Oooh! A Tea Party! Dolly is excited to see it! Maybe they can bring out cookies! Or apple pies! Or green tea! Or-" Dolly kept talking with excitement, but Fylass found something odd in her words - all of the things she mentions are things that Fylass likes very much. Was it a coincidence? For some reason, this world likes to bring and make Fylass remember things that are close to them. For what reason though? To torture them? To make them happy? Or another reason?

"Uh, Dolly… Are you sure that they would even go and invite us just like that? We didn’t even get an invite for it."

"Dolly has the feeling that they might give us at least a cookie! Besides, they might be able to aid us towards the Card Castle more easily!" Dolly said with excitement. Fylass wondered if Dolly said that to search for help for Fylass’ situation, or just for the tea, either way, Dolly was right.

"...If you say so." Fylass went with Dolly towards where the sign was pointing. The path was gloomy, even abandoned, with a lot of trees that were in deplorable conditions, yet they are still standing with leaves of sickly colors, and the moon that Fylass loved seeing a bit ago now seemed stuck in place, with the stars shining less. "...Best friend, why is the place so… odd?"

"...I don’t know… It feels like that place between a dream and a nightmare if that makes sense… Wait, what is this analogy?" Fylass said. They seemed to be coming to a conclusion, but it’s one that no one didn’t understand, not even Fylass… Did that mean something?

After some more walking, everything went pitch-black, not even the light of the stars was seen, it was a literal blackout. "Ah! Dolly, are you there?! I can’t see!" 

"Dolly doesn’t know, best friend! Dolly is scared! What is happening?!" 

"L-Let’s just stay still until something happens, if we keep on walking, we might get in trouble, or something!"

"Yeah, that makes sense, but Dolly is scared!" Both Dolly and Fylass, not being able to see each other, decided to stay still until what is happening stops. Seconds later, everything came back to normal, although the moon and stars were missing now.

"Ah… Ah… Dolly, are you okay?" Fylass said as they recovered composure. "Y-Yeah! Dolly is okay! What about you?" Dolly said to Fylass with concern, they truly are great friends. "Yeah, I am fine… What happened though?" Both were extremely confused, but they eventually realized that keeping arguing about this will not make them go forward in the adventure, so they kept going. Although, the path seemed shorter, since both could see people arguing on a table

"Could you stop adding those things to the tea?! We might not have found someone to change ourselves for them, but that doesn’t mean you should practice with us!"

"Then how am I supposed to practice?! We’ve been in here for who knows how long, and we all need to find a way to entertain ourselves before we fall deeper into-" They were acting aggressive towards each other, for some reason. Fylass didn’t want to interrupt and be noticed by them, but Dolly felt concerned by the discussion.

"Hey! Stop fighting, please! That’s not good!" Dolly yelled to the ones at the table. "Dolly! What are you doing?!" Fylass said, not noticing all of them were looking at the two, and after looking at them with surprise, the ones at the party started smiling; all of their smiles were ominous though, and Fylass suddenly noticed who they were: 

The humanoid Limet, Fettuccine, with bunny ears, and fancy clothing, but it seemed old; the purple Astral with red eyes called Kurabe, but with mouse ears and a different outfit that seemed soft to the touch; the blue god with angel wings, white eyes, and that recognizable smile called Chaos, but with a red hat with a card that had a spade symbol; although the symbol seemed more like a gem embedded on it; and at last, a ball jointed doll with a dreamlike outfit that Fylass considered family, Lucid, although this last one seemed nervous, even though he was smiling, maybe for the fact that they literally can’t stop smiling, but why is he so nervous?

Fylass, out of instinct, hid the blue key that Casey gave them before, in one of their pockets.

"Oh! Greetings!" Chaos said to Fylass and Dolly. "Sorry for the discussion beforehand, we were just having a little issue with the tea." He said with that smile that never left his face, like a parasite that never left its host. 

"Indeed! I apologize for all the inconveniences you might have heard, we surely left a questionable first impression!" Kurabe said, not leaving the table. "I apologize in advance as well." Said Fettuccine. They were being really kind, but Lucid, this one seeming hesitant to even speak. 

"...Hello there, guys. Chaos, Miss Fettuccine and Miss Kurabe… And hi to you too, Lucid…" Fylass knew beforehand that they weren’t the same guys they remembered, so they didn’t even bother to believe that they actually were. "Oh, and you know our names, isn’t that lovely?" Said Chaos.

Lucid seemed uncomfortable by whatever was happening, until Kurabe looked at him with such a sinister smile that could send chills towards anyone’s spine. "I think you should apologize as well, Lucid. You were the one that started the discussion after all." She said, and afterwards, the giant porcelain doll finally raised his voice. "...I apologize as well." 

Dolly and Fylass were silent, they seemingly shared the uneasiness that Lucid was probably feeling at that moment, even though the two just came into the scenario a minute ago, and things already seem sketchy… "Er, sorry, we are searching for a way to go to the Card Castle. Could you help us with that, if that’s not too much of a bother, please…?" Fylass said.

"Y-Yeah! Dolly needs to get her best friend to the castle! Is there a way around h-here?"

"Why of course we will help you! But first, could you two sit down on a chair and enjoy the tea party with us? It surely would be rude to go here asking for some advice and not offering a treat or two for the endeavor." Chaos said.

"Exactly! I assume you came here thanks to the sign near here, so if you came here for a tea party, it would certainly be inconsiderate!" Fettuccine said immediately after, as Kurabe slowly filled up two cups and added what seemed to be sugar on them, still with that haunting smile, she was kind… too kind; and as she was doing that, she received a hit on the head with an empty teacup, which broke to the mere contact with her, although she acted like if nothing happened, just smiling a bit less. Immediately afterwards, both Fettuccine and Chaos received yet another hit on the head with another teacup, and neither of them reacted either; they didn’t even flinch; it almost seemed like they weren’t able to leave the table or something…

"Uh, you guys were hit by a teacup and you didn’t react?! Are you okay?!" Fylass said, as they moved towards them, along with Dolly, to check on them.

"It’s alright, little penguin of Clubs, it happens sometimes!" Chaos said with an odd kindness in their tone. "H-Happens sometimes?! And you didn’t do anything about it?!"

"It’s no problem. Besides, we cannot really do much here." Fettuccine said, still with that smile not leaving her face. "Anyways, Kurabe is finally done with the tea, you two. Come and take a seat, if you please." When Lucid heard those words, he immediately started sweating. "I would recommend not doing that." He said, but when he was about to keep talking, Kurabe interrupted him. "Are you going to interrupt this tea party with your rambling, Lucid? That is disrespectful, don’t you think?" Kurabe said as that smile became something that could cause nightmares to anyone that saw it. 

"..." Lucid had no choice than to keep quiet and watch whatever was going to happen. 

As Fylass and Dolly sat down on two chairs, they noticed that there were two other spare chairs in there, as if they were expecting more people to come. "Here you go, dear Club and doll." Kurabe said as she offered the tea to both kids, still not leaving the table. "Oh, Miss Kurabe, I wanted to ask you about something." Fylass said.

"What is it, dear?" She said afterwards, with that eerie smile as always.

"I saw your couple, Mister Mikuto, and he was sad due to you leaving him. Did something happen?" When Kurabe heard those words, that smile faded away like wind, replacing it with a mournful face.

"...He is still waiting for me…?" Immediately afterwards, she started smiling as always. "Oh, I wasn’t aware that I was gone for that long. I will be sure to visit him as soon as I can." She said. "For now though, take a drink please, I am sure you will love it."

Fylass and Dolly started to drink the tea slowly, although Dolly silently spat out the tea without no one noticing. It tasted bad… Fylass, on the other hand, drank it in its entirety, even though Fylass hated the flavor. They didn’t want to be rude. "I-It tasted lovely, Miss!" Fylass said.

"Y-Yeah! Dolly loved it, i-it was amazing!" Both were lying.

Lucid looked away when that happened, and Chaos, Fettuccine and Kurabe seemed to have a more honest smile, but… it seemed evil.

"Thank you for drinking it, Club, and Dolly… Thanks to you, I will be able to visit Mikuto now…"

"...Who said you were going to do that?" Chaos said.

"...Indeed, who said that you were able to do so?" Fettuccine said.

Fylass started to feel a bit tired. "Er, well. It was surely a lovely tea, but I… I need to go. I am feeling tired too, and I don’t want to be rude…"

"...Oh. I didn’t know that the sedatives would work that quickly… Well, goodie." Chaos said, with a sinister tone, but that smile didn’t fade away.

"...Sedatives… What are you talking about…?" Fylass felt tired… So tired… but their heart was on edge, looking at the ground, and noticed something odd… The table was gray, and it had… scales? They immediately noticed what the table was when they looked at its legs, or well… her legs. "C-Celesta…?!"

"She is lovely, indeed. The only thing of value that The Queen did for us…"

Fylass was in panic, and suddenly felt like their limbs stopped functioning, and it seemed like they shutted down on the table. Dolly was concerned, and scared. "Best friend?! Are you okay?!"

"Don’t worry, they will wake up; a bit too late, sure, but they will wake up." Chaos said, as he got up from the table, along with Fettuccine and Kurabe. Lucid was still looking away. "Ah, it surely feels good to be able to stand up again."

"Haha, indeed, Hatter."

"What did you do?! Best friend, please wake up! Why did you do this?!" Dolly said with panic.

"Why do I do this…? Well, it’s because…"

"FYLASS! PLEASE!"

Single currently, but complicated. Separated due to life circumstances, right person wrong time situation. I hold him dearly in my heart, we’re still friends and we both wish to be more again if the timing is right and it feels right for both of us. No hard feelings, just respect and love, and hope. At the moment, it’s pants and a button shirt that used to be my dads and make me look like I just returned from a time travel to the WW2 era. I feel confident in that one.

Occasionally! „Beauty“ Make-up only on special occasions, but I’ve been wearing stage makeup and special effects makeup on my last job quite a lot. The latter is also a hobby of mine!

Oh that’s a good question. Multiple friends and colleagues have called me a „sunshine“ before, which has always touched me. And I’ve gotten quite some meaningful compliments regarding my work. But being called the kindest, sweetest, most deserving and most lovable person by the person you love, that’s probably gotta be it. Nothing can beat that.

Stormwind nobles are a menace to society.

And yet.. here she was! A big, although well-dressed, hypocrite. Having joined the gaggle, she found herself seated at a somewhat round tea table with two handfuls of the city’s lessor noblewomen gathered about. Each lady dressed as if the more ruffles one had applied.. the higher ranking they were - at least at the table.

While her own attire was woefully lacking in ruffles, she did well to match them in outlandish style and had shied away from the expected pastels of an afternoon tea dress. Instead, she picked a deep crimson with gold trim, her corset tight and stitched with the house’s emblem right on the front. A shield and sun, lest anyone mistake who her father and people were.

Not that it mattered here.

The Dalaran event was enchanting, a tea party set up in a garden environment with only the tower-filled sky and flowers as a view. And quaint.. until the gossip began.

A faint smile plastered to her lips as she listened to the tales that circled the table at lightning speed. But instead of joining in on the nonsense, she kept her position and visage demure and her gaze fixed on the untouched cookie-like treat that sat untouched on the plate before her.

“…she married a stable boy, and he is not even handsome! He waddles.”

“He does not WADDLE, Lady Mary – he is a war hero, he has a limp..”

“…A war hero that is now a stableboy? Please. He is after her inheritance for sure.”

“Would that not be a stableman?”

“Did you hear…”

“…. I heard the King is dead.”

The table collectively gasped.

“Hush your mouth, that is treason if it is not true!”

“Lady Caldesene, please!” This was a terrible idea, why had she agreed? Oh, that is right. She had been sweetly begged and had fallen victim to a soft heart. Her stare flicked from her plate to give a once-over of the gathered noblewomen before her attention settled on the object of her ire - well, mock ire.

Lady Hayli Vionnet. Rosemarri took a moment to study the other woman, the one face she knew, while the others clucked about treason. Petite, a halo of red curls pinned back from her face with golden pins and green eyes sheltered by thick-framed glasses. She had chosen a pastel green today and it gave her the appearance of meek and sweet.Little did anyone here know that the mouse quiet noblewoman was a hellion on the open sea. Her husband was an infamous pirate lord and that tanned skin was the result of many adventures in open water.

She grinned at the memory of the initial conversation, the stomping and raging. Her beloved pirate lord was positioning for a pardon from the House of Nobles and had placed his lady wife in the right circles to help his path. Much to Hayli’s displeasure.

“Have you heard of the pirates that have come forward for pardons..” Rosemarri spoke up, adding to the gossip mercilessly.

Another table-wide gasp.

“Surely not..” An older woman with a feather-laden hat wobbled.

Hayli stared, first at the woman and her way.

“And why is that Lady Caldesene.” Hayli challenged. “Surely you believe in redemption.”

Rosemarri’s grin widened. Now the tea party would be interesting…

“My Lady?” A soft voice sounded from beside her. “You have a messenger.”

Drat. She would miss everything.

“Pardon me a moment, ladies.”

“Lady Rosemarri…” Hayli protested, but it was too late. Rosemarri allowed herself to be led fron the garden room and the awaiting courier.

The seal was Sunshield and she wordlessly vowed that if it was Haven asking to join her.. again.. she would hang the girl by her toes in the cour–

“What is your name..” She whispered, unable to pull her stare from the letter as she spoke.

“Anson, my lady.”

“How delayed are you? When was the letter sent? I see no date.”

“Week about, my lady.”

“Thank you.”

Rosemarri twisted the letter in her gloved hands. Choices. Choices. Her escort home wouldn’t be here for some time yet but what if..

What if he was already in Dalaran and just waiting for her to arrive? Decision made, she turned toward the gentleman waiting to escort her back to tea. “Forgive me, please deliver my regrets back to the table and Lady Vionnet. Something has come up and I must depart.”

“Yes, my lady, I will. Shall I arrange an escort for you?”

Her lips parted to protest, surely she was safe on the streets of Dalaran. Nonetheless, she gave in to the voice in the back of her head that sounded suspiciously like Adamar and accepted with a little nod. “My thanks.”

WHITE ELEPHANT WRAP UP - PART 1

The first chaos plot drop will be posted in just a minute, but before it is, we did want to post a gift wrap-up. Below is a full breakdown of all of the gifts that were given during the White Elephant Party and who they ended up going home with. This will be in two parts as as there were so many gifts.

GIFT #1: from Aiyla, inside you find: A crystal jar full of supplies for mixed drinks and a variety of candy. A “mini” bar.

GIFT #2: from Ben, inside you find: Wrapped in a fancy green paper, this gift is particularly heavy. Upon unwrapping, one will find a special edition copy of Shakespeare's Complete Works, illustrated, annotated, and leather bound.

GIFT #3: from Leyla, inside you find: The gift is a Mickey Mouse hat that appears at first glance to be the Mickey Mouse hat Todd had been inhabiting. It is not Todd's Mickey hat. Leyla would never subject Todd to a Russian Roulette gift exchange, but being the mischievous little fae that she is, she doesn't mind letting other people momentarily think it is. There is also a matching Minnie Mouse hat that is Santa-themed in pink and a pink tamagotchi that she picked out when she was Holiday shopping with her good new friend Cypress. Though while the Mickey Mouse hat may not be possessed by a ghost and is just an ordinary hat, the Tamagotchi was cursed with a sleep hex when Leyla wasn't looking by Cypress. Whoever is holding the Tamagotchi will be put to sleep. They will only wake up when the Tamagotchi is taken away from them. You will never be able to keep the Tamagotchi alive because every time to try to feed it you will pass out. Dun, dun, dun.

GIFT #4: from Rangi, inside you find: A kid's chemistry set, complete with safety goggles and a full instruction manual to become "the coolest science kid on the block".

GIFT #5: from Jonah, inside you find: Neatly wrapped in brown paper with green pine leaves is a Bob Ross toaster. Note reads: Hope this brings some creativity whenever you feel like life is toast.

GIFT #6: from Amrita, inside you find: The main gift appears to be a basket adorned with two white bows. Inside of it is a box with freshly baked raspberries and white chocolate cookies with a side of freshly picked raspberries. Next to the box is a tea set that includes five tea bags and the flavors include: 1) Hibiscus Mint, 2) Chamomile Lavender, 3) Darjeeling Cardamon. Next to it is a small candle with clear quartz in the middle and dried flower petals, the scent is vanilla bean. On the other side of the basket, to even out the weight, are two books. GIFT #10: from Rohan, inside you find: This vintage board game, still sealed in plastic wrap, seems to be from the late 80s or early 90s. But rather than using the included telephone to chat with mystery boys, the object seems to be communicating with "over 100 eerie beings from the beyond." The thing radiates a foreboding aura, and there does not seem to be a record of this toy even existing in the first place. Maybe it's a prototype? The eyes of the girl on the cover seem to follow you when you move.

The rock says "Turn Me Over" while the back of the rock reads "You just took orders from a rock".

Also in the gift bag is a small container with San Rafael's blasperry THC gummies, and a bottle of Absolut Exlyr Vodka. At the end of the giftbag, buried under all the goodies is a card whose cover reads "Fuck it! It's Christmas!" with the following message: "The holidays are a good excuse to let loose! Cheers to the New Year! - Papa Noel 😎" The text is written very messily, and it was clearly rushed. Some of the text is actually smudged against the other side of the card.

“Yule” comes from Old English geol, which shares a history with the equivalent word from Old Norse, jól. Both these words referred to a midwinter festival centered around the winter solstice, which traditionally marked the halfway point of the winter season. After the solstice—the shortest day of the year—the days again begin to grow longer, so it’s thought that Yule was a celebration of the re-appearance of the Sun &the fertile land’s rebirth. 

The celebration of Yule is one of the oldest winter celebrations in the world. Ancient people were hunters & spent most of their time outdoors. The seasons & weather played a significant part in their lives. The customs and traditions associated with it vary widely.

Scholars have connected the original celebrations of Yule to the Wild Hunt, the god Odin, and the heathen Anglo-Saxon Mōdraniht ("Mothers' Night")

Some believe it marks the rebirth of the Sun (the God) from the Earth (the Goddess) & the cold days of winter will soon begin to wane. The Goddess is seen in her virgin Maiden aspect

In towns and cities throughout Sweden during the Christmas season, large goats are constructed out of straw. It is thought that the tradition originated in ancient times, perhaps as a tribute to the god Thor, who was said to ride in a chariot pulled by goats. In Sweden the goat came to be associated with the Christmas celebration, and the Yule goat is now considered by many to be a companion or counterpart to Santa Claus.

Hanukkah- A Jewish festival commemorating the recovery of Jerusalem & subsequent rededication of the Second Temple at the beginning of the Maccabean Revolt against the Seleucid Empire in the 2nd century BCE.

Hanukkah is observed for eight nights & days, starting on the 25th day of Kislev according to the Hebrew calendar, which may occur at any time from late November to late December in the Gregorian calendar. The festival is observed by lighting the candles of a candelabrum with nine branches, commonly called a menorah or hanukkiah. 

Kwanzaa- An annual celebration of African-American culture from December 26 to January 1st, culminating in a communal feast called Karamu, usually on the sixth day. It was created by activist Maulana Karenga, based on African harvest festival traditions from various parts of West & Southeast Africa. Kwanzaa was first celebrated in 1966. 

A Kwanzaa ceremony may include drumming and musical selections, libations, a reading of the African Pledge & the Principles of Blackness, reflection on the Pan-African colors, a discussion of the African principle of the day or a chapter in African history, a candle-lighting ritual, artistic performance & finally, a feast of faith (Karamu Ya Imani).

Saturnalia-

is an ancient Roman festival and holiday in honour of the god Saturn, held on 17 December of the Julian calendar & later expanded with festivities through to 23 December. The holiday was celebrated with a sacrifice at the Temple of Saturn, in the Roman Forum & a public banquet, followed by private gift-giving, continual partying & a carnival atmosphere that overturned Roman social norms: gambling was permitted & masters provided table service for their slaves as it was seen as a time of liberty for both slaves and freedmen alike.

 A common custom was the election of a "King of the Saturnalia", who gave orders to people, which were followed & presided over the merrymaking. The gifts exchanged were usually gag gifts or small figurines made of wax or pottery known as sigillaria. The poet Catullus called it "the best of days".

Feast of Epona-

Eponalia is the feast day of Gaulish Goddess Epona, the Divine Mare & in the time of the Roman Empire it was celebrated on December 18th.

Epona is known to be one of a very few Gaulish deities whose names were spread to the rest of the Roman Empire. This seems to have happened because Roman cavalry units stationed in Gaul followed Her & adopted her as their Patroness. This may have started because many of the cavalry troops were conscripted from Gaul as they were superb horsemen. From Gaul the Romans took Epona with them including to Rome where She was given her own feast day on the 18 December. They worshipped her as Epona Augusta or Epona Regina & invoked her on behalf of the Emperor. She even had a shrine in the barracks of the Imperial Bodyguard.

Hunting of the Wren-

A traditional custom carried out on the Isle of Man on the 26 December, St. Stephen's Day. It consists of groups of people going around villages and towns singing and dancing a traditional song and dance around a decorated wren pole.

The earliest and most common folklore story accounting for the origin of hunt the wren tells of a fairy/enchantress/witch whose beauty lures the men of the Isle of Man to harm, for which she is chased and is changed into the form of a wren. It is therefore in punishment for her actions that the wren is hunted on St. Stephen's Day
