Been thinking about Justice League (JLA, late 90s early 2000s) and like, honestly? Mood. I've never actually watched episodes, but I've binged clips on YouTube off and on for several years.

Martian Manhunter is still my favorite, several years later. So is John Stewart + Wally West friendship, and I like how plotlines are typically, y'know, lines instead of just being one-off comments or whatever.

Anyways. Been thinking about making a Green Lantern OC whose just a Little Guy™. I'll get back with that ^-^

hal jordan & tala tolentino relationship hcs

but for the tldr version: she’s a 13-15 filo-american that uses her green lantern abilities to be a magical girl bc she’s a HUGE anime fan. hal jordan is her mentor) since a few friends of mine have shown interest… here are some hcs of mine:

initially was nervous about interacting with hal because she doesn’t interact with anyone outside of people online… so she was caught off guard by being assigned a mentor from the lantern corp </3 he essentially becomes her personal instructor bc she is initially. Very Unfit to survive with fights; her stamina is. Very Low (all she does is watch anime) & while she can concentrate its different in an actual fight(tm)

at one point she started ditching 😭😭 she only accepted the ring bc she wanted to be magical girl not a jock </3 kept on asking for “breaks” only to leave the training session for periods of time before disappearing all together

hal has to personally sit down and motivate her to exercise so she’ll actually. Last In A Fight. she admits she’d, “rather watch anime” than exercise. it’s only when half compromise to watching 1 episode of anime w/ her for every 30 minutes that they get somewhere bc her eyes light up the world >:3 (and this, my friends, is when she starts opening up)

she goes from quiet nervous kid to someone that starts asking question. she puts in effort to her exercises. and while she gets tired & drained easily she puts in the effort just so the 2 could watch anime.

she becomes so excited to watch anime with him that she asks to exercise for “more than 30 minutes.” bc everytime she asks for one more episode he refuses to budge. this only makes her determined to work more and more. bc to her, spending time with hal jordan is worth that much. and half, who sees this shy girl open up and improve before his very eyes just so she can get the chance to share her interest… can’t help but be fond of his new student :3

DC OC | Venus Parks

Venus Luella Parks is a member of Star Sapphire Corps and owner of a Violet ring. She came to join the corps after her ex boyfriend cheated on her while she was touring as a DJ. After getting her revenge, she began to do work for the Zamarons as she was now a full member of the Star Sapphire Corps.

During one of her missions, she met Green Lantern Kyle Rayner and the two began talking. Eventually they both fell in love, fueling power to Venus's ring.
