#Yesterday was the best first day of school ever! Spent the Middle School class just really establishing rapport and#connection with the students which I hope will pay off in them feeling confident in class discussions. They seemed to be in#great spirits! And I gave my High School class a lecture on whether the Resurrection is historically verifiable#with lots of discussion mixed in#and I got about half a dozen kids come up to me after class saying they really enjoyed it#Which - on the first day of school especially - never happens! It does help that I knew many of the kids in that class from last year#but still#I am so grateful and think it will be a great year. So glad I stayed on with this school even while quitting my main school.#teacher life
